Prior to my reservation and during my stay, both were extremely helpful, patient, accommodating and personable I had problems with internet reception getting Lyft and adding a stop, Amy helped so I could get to my friend's wedding:) Thank you Amy!. Clarence (2/5): - I travel extensively around the world and this was by far the worst Holiday Inn Express that I stayed in ever. The cleaning staff only made up one bed and never came back to finish cleaning the room. The elevator stopped working the second night and often the front desk staff was of zero assistance. I'm seriously considering eliminating this chain altogether and have already taken the decision to switch hotels from the Holiday Inn Express in Shanghai in two weeks

Vanessa (8/5): Decent stay - I chose ihg holiday inn express and suites because it was 5 min close to where I needed to be in the next morning. I also chose it because the reviews looked decent and it was overall a clean hotel. the hotel needs an ac system or maybe that morning it wasn’t working but The elevator was way too hot for me and the hallways but other than that everything was good. One of the pillows did have someone else blood on it when I arrived. I put it to the side also the room did lack towels. I’m not sure why but only two were in the bathroom. I needed at least 3 more. Housekeepers make mistakes so I’m willing to look beyond it but it was a stay for one night and I would be back again despite the small stuff.
Verified traveler (10/5): Pleasant stay - Very clean and well kept. Enjoyed the fitness room, but it could contain some smaller weights for smaller females or people who cannot handle larger weights because of an injury.

Non pork meat option at breakfast was greatly appreciated but extremely dry and hard. Staff is great. Dove products are provided in the room. Basics that I didn’t have at more expensive rooms (ex. Microwave, fridge, a place to purchase snacks late at night) in Monterey I had here, so I was very happy! Would definitely stay here again.

Let staff know! I refer many people here from an event center and have stayed here as well! Very disappointed and at over $200 a night after taxes and fees. They do have a pretty good free breakfast though!
Lody (8/5): - Property is fairly new. Clean and good access to freeway. Close to agricultural area. For a newer place, shower can be a little better. 230 dollars for a night is a little expensive but overall it was a great stay.

We stayed here 29Nov-6Dec 2024 and experienced a FANTASTIC stay due to the Friendliest, Happiest Staff, CLEANEST rooms, comfiest beds and pillows, dog-friendly with a convenient and tidy dog area [and a safe loop to walk off property if needed] and the FABULOUS complimentary breakfast had a wide variety and was always hot and plentiful with a serving/dining area that was always meticulously CLEAN. The mini-suite we had was spacious, modern, and wifi was outstanding. Room also had a mini-fridge and k-cup with coffee provided. We have stayed at another pet friendly hotel in Brentwood in years past and there is NO going back, this establishment has us loyal as well as willing to check out this chain in our other travels. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

When they came they were out of eggs one small carton of milk left for cereal. Things were not replenished in a timely manner. I think it was to much for one employee. I chose the hotel because it included a free breakfast and that wasn’t fulfilled. I arrived for breakfast around 8am
Shirley (6/5): - Didn’t like this place at all, everything was substandard. The customer service was excellent though. Looked dated even though there were a few newer pieces added to the room. If you are going in the summer and want a swim, the pool is joke, looks like it could fit about 3 people. The suite we had was structured in a way that viewing the only TV from the sofa was next to impossible. The elevator sounded like it would give out at any moment. Breakfast was adequate. The price we paid for 2 nights was ridiculous for the quality of the hotel. Must be the area because the other 2 1/2 hotels in the area came in at the same price point.

I paid less to stay at a 3 times better HIE in Manila the week before. My main beef is with the night front desk employee that didn't do anything to curtail a 5-6 person party at 2-3 am one floor directly above them. It shouldn't be too much to expect when paying $200 for a room in a dead zone.
Elhizeh (10/5): Overall good - My stay was overall good. The room was clean, bedding was completely white, which I love, and staff was friendly. I know they are trying to be eco-friendly by just having the soaps, shampoos and conditioners in big bottles that can be used my multiple guests instead of the typical individual tinny bottles. However, I do not think that is wise in this COVID era we live in.

Verified traveler (6/5): Ok trip - The rooms where clean. This time we had to stay on two separate floors. The TV in one room didn't work. The king size in one room was difficult to sleep in. You sunk in the middle of the bed. House keeping would empty trash every day but you had to ask for clean towels every day. The breakfast buffet was very clean. The lady there would clean the table as soon as a family was finished. She also said hello. She would tell you where things where. Miss Mary always had a smile on her face.

Asked for bedding for pull-out bed for 4 hours only to receive a mattress topper, 2 pillows without pillow cases, and a sheet. The only staff member onsite who was working was overworked with the hotel being at full capacity. No supplies as he said that is all he could find. No extra towels. They overbooked by 10 rooms cancelling families who were there for a soccer tourney with no place to stay. Holiday Inn knew they were full weeks ago but did not schedule extra help and being for the amount of people there.

U1096EPkathleenb (6/5): Bare bones Holiday Inn - Stayed here while visiting family in Brentwood. The hotel is clean and generally quiet. Elevator was a bit scary going up as it sounded like it might not make it. The pool is very tiny and overlooks the parking lot. It’s not really a place to sit, take a swim and read a book. The complimentary breakfast is adequate and the Coffee they provide is delicious. We had a King Suite, not really sure why it was called a suite , possibly because there was a couch in the room. Bed was comfortable. Shower in our room was dangerous as when the floor was wet and soapy it became quite slippery. My husband almost fell. We had to lay a bath towel in the tub to prevent a fall. Staff at the Inn were pleasant and provided what you needed quickly. No cleaning service for room unless you requested it.
