La décoration des pièces communes est très belle. Il faut savoir que l’hotel est présentement à vendre. On sent une certaine lassitude et un détachement des employés. Le service s’en ressent. Nous sommes arrivés à 15:40 et il n’y avait personne pour nous accueillir et aucun message pour nous indiquer quoi faire. La maison manque d’amour. Les planchers sont croches, les lits inconfortables et les portes grincent. Ce n’est pas insonorisé.

- Guennadi (8/5): Three nights in Maria - The property has a variety of rooms. We were in a tiny room, not very comfortable. Our friends stayed in the room 3 times bigger. Nice restaurant (works Wed-Sun, closed on Mon-Tue). Excellent breakfasts and dinners. Next to IGA store. 200 meters from an embankment
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Déjeuner inclus vraiment excellent et personnel accueillant et professionnel. Il faut aimer les maisons centenaires et ce qui vient avec. Chambre mal insonorisée et petite. Aucune fenêtre ne s'ouvrait et l'air climatisée située dans la salle de bain était très sonore, celle-ci avait d'ailleurs besoin d'un nettoyage en profondeur. Ça sentait le renfermé. Pour le reste, il ne manquait rien pour le confort du visiteur.
- Alejandro (4/5): À éviter... - La chambre n'était pas climatisée comme indiqué dans Hotels.com. Pas de personnel sur place pour répondre à un problème électrique dans la salle de bains le soir. Pas de réponse au téléphone indiqué comme contact en dehors des heures de la réception pour obtenir de l'aide. Il a fallu attendre au lendemain et aller à la réception pour régler le problème. Hotel à vendre selon les panneaux sur place.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - When we arrived, there was nobody to greet us. Although we were early, we would have expected somebody to give us info. Had to call the owner. He said the staff does not get there before 4.00. Total lack of hospitality. At least post a sign. The Cabinet room speciousness was destroyed by the presence of a totally useless second bed. That area should have seating and a coffee table to comfortably watch TV. You could call that a Suite. However, The restaurant staff and food were absolutely impeccable.

J'ai été dérangé 3x le matin: femme de ménage à 08h30, réparateur TV à 09h00 pour soit disant une vérification, concierge à 09h55 pour checkout afin qu'il ferme sa caisse.

The staff is working to create comfort and atmosphere, but they can’t cover up bad repairs. The building from 1823rd is falling apart , and it is painful to see.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Drôle d'accueil avant 16h00 qui n'était pas prévu par le personnel et on l'avait oublié. L'air climatisé a fait défaut. Mais on a aimé le style vieillot de l'auberge, la suite de la reine était splendide et on a très bien mangé au restaurant.
- Heleln (6/5): Underwhelmed - We booked a 2 night stay well in advance and called to include a dinner reservation and reconfirm the room 10 days prior to our arrival. On arrival the hotel did not have our room reservation, just the dinner however after a bit of delay they honoured our reservation. We found it was like staying in someones home, you could hear voices and noises through the walls. The room (The Romantic) was cute but shabby and the food disappointing.

The beds could have been a bit more comfortable , but were fine for sleeping. I would come back here again, was a great experience for my first time in Gaspe. The Reine (Queen) room looks like something out of a fairy tale , which was where the girls got dressed for the wedding. Everyone had a great time.

- Jan (6/5): Unusual accommodation - Worst part of our stay was checking in. They claimed not to have received our Expedia booking...room we wanted not available and tried to charge us an extra $50. Thd clerk said she had no authorium to adjust $ the pretended to call owner after we insisted, then reduced price. Still paid $7 more than bookkng rate. Rooms are done up original to 1800's but modern bathrooms of course. Meals in restaurant were incredible.

One World One Trail cycling Team (10/5): it is surprise stay - location is great. not extra charged for one more person to stay. onl charged $10 for set menu breakfast which set menu breakfast would cost $15 anywhere. $190for five people to stay including breakfast. totally worth to come back.
