Guest Reviews
- TAMMY (4/5): - This place is gross. The hallways are so cluttered and filthy. Inside the window ledges filthy. Construction repairs not completed. No blanket. No coffee. Not enough light. Definately not worth the price we paid but only room we could find.
- Karen (10/5): - Convenient to all attractions
- Sharla (6/5): - It could be a good hotel, but they definitely need to spray, we seen a couple of roaches. Also we had to move to another room 1st room had blood on the blanket
- Forrest (6/5): - Look everyone it's a motel. There's only so much you can expect when you're paying $44.95 a night. The good stuff: It was clean, the bathroom, the bed and the floors. It was nice and cold in the room. There was no microwave or fridge. That's not the motel's fault, I've just never stayed anywhere without one. Nothing specifically was super bad about it.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Toilet got clogged up and over flowed and then it wouldn't flush the whole time the first night was there but then it started working the next morning. They wanted to move us to an upstairs but it was raining and I couldn't be upstairs due to bad legs
- Reginald (2/5): - The wi-fi was terrible. It kept going in and out.
- Robert (2/5): - It was horrible negative 1 star hotel. Checked into a room that wasn't cleaned. Moved to another room. No fridge,no television channels. Definitely not a place for family
- Michelle (2/5): The ghetto of hot springs - This was the worst place i have ever seen. We get there around midnight from a 8hr drive. Had to call the live on site attendant to check in who charged us a $15 late check in fee. Get to our room and there are 2 towels and 1 wash rag, no top sheet on the bed, sticky floors, toothpaste all down the wall, shower wouldn't drain at all. Over all this was a hovel. Was kept awake all night with people pulling into the parking lot with loud music and loud talking. The following morning we left and its like crackhead central all in the parking lot. Screaming kids running up and down the stairs. Worst experience EVER and way over priced. The picture you have advertised for this hotel, if you notice the golf cart...it is sitting on all flats one on a bent rim.
- DUSTYN ROSE (2/5): - The room was clean and in a great location. We did not have any issues with our stay, until it was time to check out. We needed to leave by 8:30 AM on Sunday morning, as we had to get back by early afternoon. When I went to the office to check out, there was a note on the door that said that the lobby doesn’t open until 10 AM and to call a number listed if I need to check out before that. (There was also a note that they would charge $15 for this). We didn’t have a choice so I went ahead and called the number as we did need to leave, but nobody answered. There was another number listed on the door and I tried that number as well and no answer. We went ahead and left the motel to drive back and I had to forfeit my $30 that they made me put down as a cash deposit. I will never stay here again.
- Chris (10/5): - Rebel was very helpful to have our room at its best. Brought us a microwave upon request.
It's not perfect but really good for the price.
- Holly (6/5): Meh. - The room was decently clean. The bathroom was NOT clean. The bathtub had a dead bug in it. Then when I closed the door there was an EKG Electrode stuck to the back of the door..
- Karla (6/5): - Advertisement for hotel showed a game room area which is actually the hotels (it’s next door) and not available and the exterior looked horrible (like the wrong side of the tracks). Almost as bad as last weekends hotel. Room smelled bad. Bed was hard and unclean. It was NOTHING like advertised.
- Gary (2/5): - Just choose another location. To loud outside the hotel. Residents come out at night, just too noisy inside and out!
- Marcy (4/5): Don't stay here. - Pay the difference and stay somewhere else.
Motel had people living there long term.
People just hanging out on the balconies at all hrs of the day and night. Seems more like a half-way house. Our door was damaged from being kicked inultiple times.
Sheets were dirty. Had pubes on them.
- Stephanie (10/5): - After confirmation on reservation was denied bc id wasnt out of town and considered a local even tho was a different county and town
- Gary (2/5): - We knew we weren't getting much....We went cheap. But SERIOUSLY...........BEDBUGS!!!!! Come on people!
- Risa (2/5): - It was the worst experience I’ve had in a hotel in a very long time. The room was nothing as advertised there was all types of strange locals living there & weird activity happening at all hours of the night
- Daryl (8/5): - The staff did a good job, There "over the phone" edicate needs some work but if you consider the price they did a great job. The outside of the motel looks old and has you questioning. My room was very clean and orderly. You get what you pay for and I feel They did better then my expectations. They dont have land line phones in the room, you must go to the front desk if you have quesations. They do have a pool and it was clean. This place is VERY kid friendly. They have laser tag, go karts, and a gaming building next door. Just min. from down town (8 min walk down hill) If you like mexican food done go to the downtown place, leave the motel and turn left on central about 1 mile down is amazing.
Does this place need some work? Yes
Would I stay here again? Absoulutly,
- Julie (4/5): - The price was good but the room lacked a lot of amenities, no refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee pot, no Kleenex, very limited TV stations, no phone in the room, no shelf or clothing hook in the bathroom, no toilet seat lid, very small bath towels, very small bathroom. We were disappointed in the room.
- Richard (8/5): - Only issue I came across was when I checked in there were no bathroom items I called the after hours number and the night manager responded promptly and took care of it.
- Charles (8/5): - It was worth what i paid and it was almst right in downtown area...has a place for kids to play...
- Jeremy (2/5): - Did not stay there because we did not have all our ids and the doors were open and the rooms looked nasty
- Karen (8/5): - That TV was to small for the room and channel selections were limited
- Maurice (8/5): - The rooms are clean but very simple. For the price we where happy with them.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Glorified Storage Unit - The first red flag was the offer to inspect the room before checking in. When asked if this was a local practice I was informed that it was because of the no refund policy. The room seemed serviceable but I was sorely tempted to check for bed bug eggs and didn’t want to while the staff was there; on later inspection I found no evidence of bed bugs. There was a mini fridge but the freezer portion had completely iced over, rendering the unit inoperable. Laying on the bed was the biggest disappointment, both mattress and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. And finally, the hotel had “lost its contract” with the local cable provider so only local broadcast stations were available.
- Tommi (2/5): - Did not check in staff was horribly rude and mean
- Ibrahim (10/5): - Great price
- Kassondra (8/5): - Decent place to stay cheap that is still walking distance downtown.
- Ana (8/5): - The bed and the floor were clean, maybe housekeeping should do a little more deep clean in walls and restroom but in general was good, no bugs and it was quiet.
The front desk lady was very nice.
- Steven (4/5): - No mini fridge, wifi did not work, empty dirty cups and trash from previous occupant, tv dish remote did not work
- Regina (10/5): - Great customer service. In great breakfast
- Jeff (8/5): - Check in super easy. Cards to unlock the door had to be redone because we couldn't get in the room. Older building in good shape inside but no hooks in bathroom to hang towels etc. No hair dryer. Air conditioner loud. No fridge. For just staying to sleep perfectly fine for the price
- Sue (4/5): - The lights in main room did not work… Plug-ins wouldn’t work… The plug-in in the bathroom would not work…. No microwave no refrigerator. Just blah.
- Ryan (10/5): - Never had an issue for the 3 nights I stayed, friendly and accommodating!
- Stanley (10/5): - .
- Amos (2/5): - The wifi access is horrible..They didn't have extra towels, so once you use the towels given in the room, you have to use your dirty towels..no breakfast.. website stated there would be a fridge and microwave in room and my room didn't have it. I had to ask the cleaning lady to get me one..After being in the room for a couple of days stay, no one comes to freshen your until you check out..I would advise no one to check in here.
- William (10/5): - The staff responded quickly to a issue that came up
- Jason (4/5): - I had to clean the room.
- Raquel (2/5): - I didn’t check in because the front desk clerk looks like a meth head and she gave lousy service
- Kristin (2/5): - The front desk girl was rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. The place was run down and dirty looking. I was from out of state and was visiting a friend that lived in the area. The front desk girl just about harassed me if the friend that picked me up from the airport would be staying with me. I told her no she lives with her boyfriend. After being badgered about who I would bring into my room, the front desk girl, took my credit card and my driver’s license made copies and then after that decided to tell me, she couldn’t rent me the room because I didn’t have a car in my name at the motel with me. It definitely seemed as if she was trying to find reasons not to rent me the room from the beginning. Being very far from home and last minute, it was difficult to find other accommodations. If you want to be sure you have a place to stay I wouldn’t choose this one.
- Jessica (8/5): - My kids loved that laser tag/go karts/putt putt was right next door! It let all our needs for a quick one night stay in Hot Springs.
- Michael (6/5): Get what you pay for - The only plus was that the staff was very friendly.
The room floors were dirty and beds/pillow’s uncomfortable. We had issues with our tv which the staff tried to fix but nothing worked. This would not be a location we stay at in the future!
- Stanley (8/5): - Staff outstanding. Very helpful.
- Michael (8/5): Clean and Convenient - A family lodge in an older, mid-century chain hotel with attached family activities. The rooms are small and basic. No frills, but with a very friendly and helpful staff and surprisingly clean rooms. Conveniently located.
- Verified traveler (6/5): So so - Desk service was awful. Had booked through hotels.com and attendant had no idea how to work it. Had to refund and recharge my card. Room was clean, poor ac and no fridge. Location was a bit sketchy.
- Robyn (10/5): - Lots of fun activities like laser tag, indoor mini golf, and outdoor go karts all within walking distance.
- Jacky (2/5): WORST PLACE WE EVER STAYED - This place is the worst hotel we ever stayed in. To start off we get to the hotel and are told we have to pay $25 for our dog to stay. Their website clearly stated dogs stay for free and that its pet friendly. When i told the receptionist she said they dont update their website. Also theres nowhere for a dog to use the bathroom its all pavement. We had to walk her all the way down the street to use the side of the road on a busy street. You dont get a refrigerator. The room is very dark. The bathroom is so small the door is at your knees. The tv has the most basic package literally 1 or 2 channels that actually has anything to watch. But the worst part of it was the beds. Hard as a rock. We went and asked for more pillows. She finally brought them to us after waiting all day. We got 1 pillow per person. 2 wash rags which 1 has to be used to plug the drain hole for a bath. 2 bath towels. No hand towels. 4 people in my family and thats all we got. I was tempted to just sleep in my car it would have been more comfortable. The receptionist runs the whole thing. I can understand that shes running it by herself may be the reason we didnt get towels and pillows but my goodness either hire help or shut it down. This poor woman is the receptionist, housekeeper and everything. Oh and heres what tops it off. The ice machine is inside the locked lobby. If you need to get in for ice or pillows etc. after 10pm they charge you $10 more for after hours. Avoid this place like the plague
- Tyler (8/5): Exactly as expected. - Overall experience was on par with expectations. It was really cheap, all we needed was a place to sleep and it provided what we needed. They don't do house keeping so if you need fresh towels you need to get them yourself which is no big deal really. The adjacent lasertag/go kart area was meh. The staff was some young punks who clearly didn't care about their jobs. They just stayed on their phones the whole time and had a no care attitude. That being said my daughter absolutely loved it. If you can deal with the teenage devil may care attitude staff i recommend taking the kids, they'll love it. All in all you get what you pay for.
- Gwen (4/5): You get what you pay for. - The heater sounded like a jet engine preparing for take off during the night. As no one is in the office during the night, we just had to turn the heat off and it was cold. At 7 am a child was outside hollering and again, nothing to be done as no one is in the office between 10 pm and 10 am. Couldn't take a bath, no plug for the tub.
- claude l brownfield (10/5): - ok
- Thomas (8/5): Good cost effective but..... - Office opens 9 Am. They run the ropes course and go carts on sight. Any other times they can be reached by cell. The people who clean the rooms also staff the office. I have stayed here almost a dozen times.....they like everyone else are unable to hire enough workers
- Timothy (6/5): - The beds slept, the spider living in the room didn’t bother us, the shower curtain kept falling every time someone touched it. The floor felt like it had sand/dirt all over it. The air conditioner made a loud noise. The tv remote didn’t work, had to fight the buttons on the tv to get it to the right input. Heaven forbid you lock yourself out of room after hours, no one is there and none will answer the phone, but we got exactly what we paid for. Next time we will pay a little more to stay somewhere else. Room 212 wasn’t the spot for us
- Mary (6/5): - Rooms were cleaner than expected from outside condition. No tv or wifi. A few roaches.
- Tiffany (10/5): THE BEST STAY FOR KIDS LASER TAG & GOKARTS ETC... - If you have kids or not THIS IS YHE BEST HOTEL TO STAY IN ESPECIALLY IF IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN
THEY OFFER LASER TAG GO KARTS and lots of other fun activities for children
- Michelle (6/5): - Rooms were clean, attendant was friendly. Requested one room with fridge a week in advance and did not get one. However, there was noise in the walls as if there were rats or mice in walls and squeak when pushing on wall
- Jerad (4/5): - I needed internet for my laptop and it was listed as an amenity but it didn't work and even though our room was very close to where they said the router was we couldn't get reliable internet whatsoever. The attendant said they would reset the router and it should get better but it didn't. It cut in and out and the signal was very weak. The floor was gritty when we came in and the water was lightly running in the bathtub because it was very difficult to turn off. The television was extremely tiny and hard to see and navigating their system was a nightmare.
- Lauris (8/5): - it was god location and comfortable
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was what I expected for the price. The only issue was terrible internet. Half the time I couldn’t even get online. When I did video calls were useless, terrible lag. I couldn’t do business.
- raymond (10/5): - No coffee maker in room. Lighting very subdued.
- Robert (10/5): - The bathroom needed work. Caulking, toilet paper holder, clothes hook/rake all would be great additions. I had to tighten the bath faucet to be able to get hot water...Humm, wonder why that was not noticed during cleaning?
- Ernest (10/5): - Htdgji
- naling (8/5): - Check in is quick. Convenient location.
- Lisa (4/5): - When checking in we had to wait a very long time because per what myself and another person were told the girl behind the desk was by herself and had to run the hotel and the fun zone area they also had by herself.
I had asked for extra shampoo and conditioner at the time of checking in and she said she would bring it shortly due to being only person and I said no problem, hours later however she never came with the supplies.
My room had no towels so my son and I couldn’t have showered even if we wanted with what we had. I went back to the front desk and she had another girl in back behind the counter with her and a guy she was eating with on the other side.
My thoughts were if you have enough time to sit and talk this long, then why not take care of your guests or send one of your friends if you have to stay up front.
We were not given a do not disturb sign. The girl told my son that she didn’t have any. I’ve never heard of a hotel not having them…
Our door had a gap big enough for papers and stuff to get pushed through, so we had to run the heat high to counter the cold air coming in which led to my son getting a nose bleed.
Overall just not a good experience and I wouldn’t recommend or go back.
- Hershal (2/5): - Crumbs and Hair under the bed sheets. Outlets were so wornout that you couldn't hardly charge a phone because the plug-in kept falling out. Heater sounded like a vacuum cleaner screaming. Shower leaked water that was running in the floor behind the toilet. Very noisy all night. Terrible place
- Ben (2/5): - The place is a dump. People standing outside their rooms smoking, they allow people to live in the hotel and the people are not the most friendly looking. This place is a hotel from a dateline episode, be on the lookout for drugs and other problems if you choose to stay here.
- Catherine (6/5): Good Place to crash after busy day - Room was modest and dated there were no amenities. Room was clean but could have used a mop good place to crash after busy day of sightseeing. Downside, no coffee or coffe pots in rooms and noone in office/loby till 830am.
- Walter (10/5): - Staff was very kind and helpful.
- Sadie (4/5): - The many hotels we had to go to to get a comfortable price yet clean and fair
- Christine (6/5): - Room felt damp, bathroom is small. Go-cart place on same property. If you are an early sleeper, noise could be a problem; also located at corner of two busy streets.
Room was clean with wood floors.
- Laurie (6/5): - The room was not very clean.
- Jessica (2/5): - First look decent property seemed clean enough but room we stayed had some kind of bug problem we started getting bite overnight reported it next morning early no help from staff haven't received return call from owner very disappointing
- Jodie (4/5): - The only thing was bed i got dirty towels and there was mold around the tub and all the walls it was black around the tub and pink in the grout on the wall also the dressor door was broke i was just not impress
- Mehrafarin (8/5): - There was a very nice and helpful lady in the office . The main issue is lack of a mini fridge in the room! Property has a good access to everything.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Clean rooms, great service!
- AJ (2/5): Horrible stay - My wife woke up with bed bug bites all over her body. Hotel satff was not helpful with the situation.
- Jennifer (4/5): Thoroughly disappointed - Our original booking was for 4 adults. It ended up just 2 of us and that was good because there were only 2 towels and 2 wash cloths (for the whole weekend of our stay.) There was also NO toilet paper nor a toilet paper holder. The mini fridge had leftover food from a previous visitor. The outlet that the fridge and the microwave were plugged in at, did not work. The floor had clearly not been swept or mopped. The bathroom counter had dirty hair tie on it. The room wreaked of marijuana smoke (and I'm highly allergic.) The walls are then. Woke up to the couple next door having a screaming cussing fight one morning. The bedspread most likely hadn't been washed prior to our arrival. It had cigarette burns in it and its a nonsmoking establishment. I just didn't feel 100% safe and clean. And, ww aren't picky. We are bikers and just needed a clean place to sleep and take a shower. We visit Hot Springs fairly regularly and will unfortunately have to scratch this one off the list.
I understand they are remodeling and working on fixing it up but its the little things that matter more. If you can't provide your guests a clean room with adequate towels and toilet paper, you'll never be successful in this line of work.
- Louis Wade (6/5): - No icebox in room , no extra towels, no coffee pot ( no coffee available in lobby till 8:30 am ) .. note : had to ask for a icebox
- Donald (8/5): - Close to every thing
- Tammy (6/5): - No maid service, no coffee pot or blow dryer in rooms,
- Courtney (8/5): - It was clean! Next door to a go cart place and lot of fun stuff for kids! Great bars up the road also. Only complaint is that the tv didn’t work the whole time even after someone was supposed to be by a hour after I called front desk. Wi-Fi didn’t work either. I said something at check out they said they was sorry that’s it could of discounted the room a little even if it was 20$. Over all good place to stay.
- Huoy (8/5): - Close to downtown.
Room did not have microwave, fridge, coffee maker, safe for valuables, or cups (disposable or glass). The pool was not available for guests and no fitness center
- Lee (10/5): - Best place in Hot Springs for value
- Walter (4/5): - No warning of being under remodel. It was dirty. The room was ok. No hand towels!
- John (2/5): - This property was disgusting and looked like a methden, or some form of drug distribution location. Also, found out upon arrival they do not rent to locals (locals including North Little Rock) honestly glad, I don't think this place should be used by anyone unless you are desperate. I cannot describe how bad it looked. There was a dumpster parked right in front of the rooms, every door plate was seperating from the door, and there were ripped curtains and filth everywhere.
- Tomi (8/5): Nice hotel - Nice hotel. Rooms are being updated. Wifi was lacking. Bathroom was small. Allowed pets for $25 non refundable fee. Staff were nice and friendly. Hotel is centrally located.
- Sonja (8/5): - The room was very clean. Not enough towels for 3 people.
- Brian (8/5): - It was a good motel, although I wish it had an alarm clock in the room
- charles (8/5): - Did not know that since covid, the cleaning staff were restricted from entering the rooms until the guests had checked out. 2 wash cloths& towels were not enough for a 3 night stay. h
- Kayla (10/5): - Great location for walking down the “Main Street aka Bathhouse Row” of Hot Springs. Affordable pricing especially for the location and cleanliness of room.
- Blanka (4/5): - I liked that it was close to downtown. But beds were very old. They caved in the middle. No phone to call reservation area. Not clean and smelled like a smoking room.
- Juanita (10/5): - Completely great
- Sue (6/5): - No fridge and no microwave !!
- Michael (4/5): Pass on This One - My stay was mostly a disappointment. The room was barely clean enough so that I wouldn’t reject it immediately upon check-in, but then regretted the decision the rest of the stay. There was no smoke detector, and I feel that is a serious condition that puts that room in violation of codes (see picture of empty smoke detector socket). Additionally, there was no stopper of other way to plug the drain and prevent items from falling into the trap. Fortunately I caught my ring before it went down there. The tub was also backed-up with shower water to a depth of about two inches but had drained by the time I finished my getting ready routine. I had a three day stay and did not receive any daily maid service or fresh towels each day. They never even emptied the trash during my stay. Go ahead and spring for something nicer! This is just not very good. The price was very inexpensive though.
- Pamela (6/5): Never again - I will never stay here again! The rooms have no micro fridge had to keep insulin on ice 😑 there is no microwave, the bathroom is so small i couldnt turn around in it. The showerhead is so low i had to bend backwards to put head under it. Oh and the wifi does not work! I had reservation for 2 more nights and i asked for different room cause wifi and no fridge or microwave and she said they didnt have anymore rooms and qere full of reservations, 2 seconds later phone rings and customer wants to know if any vacancies yes we 5, what!!!!! So needless to say i stayed one more night and cancelled the other
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The front desk girl was awesome! The room was clean older place but our two nights there were great for the price can't beat it.
- David (2/5): Not very Hospitalbe - I arived early and asked to be accomidated and was refused Because my wifes I.D. Was from the local area however the Room was Booked in my name and i have a little rock address and was told i too was considered local
- Rebekah (4/5): - My original room was horrendous. The smell was so strong. It was like bad BO and a dead skunk. When I requested a new room, she didn't seem surprised. She was absolutely wonderful. My next room was much better than the last, but not great. This is what you'd call a roach motel. There's not microwave, frig, blow dryer or even an ice machine.
If you need a bed, cool. You won't die. Maybe.
- Lauris (6/5): - it was good price, and just OK
- Lauris (6/5): - It bwas comfortable but everything else poor
- Elisabeth (8/5): - Room was clean and staff were very pleasant. However, bed and pillows were uncomfortable, the room smelled musty, and the wifi was basically nonexistent. Better than sleeping in the car.... but not by much.
