- Steve (5/5): Convenient location with good facilities, let down by noise from above - The room was modern, clean, and well-maintained. The facilities are good, with everything you need for a convenient and enjoyable stay. Access to the mountain is quick and easy, making it simple to get out and enjoy the snow without any hassle. Our room (6) was located directly below the kitchen, which made noise an issue. Music could be heard until around midnight, and it was especially disruptive early in the morning when the kitchen started playing loud music again at 7:30am. We mentioned this to the manager, but unfortunately, the situation didn’t improve during our stay.
- melissa (10/5): - Elk at falls creek was an amazing stay. The in house restaurant Sorella had amazing food and service was fast. The menu choice I felt was a bit limited, however of the choices , all was cooked exceptionally well and all were tasty. I liked that the property has a separate entrance to use after being out on the slopes as well as the area for taking off boots was plenty and close to my room. It was a nice touch to have a separate area for relaxing away from the main dinning area. Our host Jake was fantastic, before arriving communication was fast and he was a really nice person to chat too. In fact all the dinning and bar staff were welcoming and nice to chat with. Staying in one if the smaller rooms was comfortable. The bed was pretty comfortable, it was a nice touch having a smaller heating cupboard in my room as having a nice toasty jacket in the morning was a bonus. The bathroom was great too , a tad small to be expected although i had no complaints. The heated bath rack was great. The walk down to the slopes was easy enough, a little harder on the way back up the hill, but there was a shuttle bus which was all too easy. Ski hire was near by and the team down there were fantastic. The highlight and main reason for booking with elk was the location and the hot tubs which were a very big plus afterwards. Thankyou all so much for an excellent stay.

Just walk out the door and pop on your skis and ski to the lift...and then at the end of the day just ski back to property. How awesome is that. Jake was super friendly and helpful. My son and I had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay there again.

Not having breakfast included for the price or anywhere inside the hotel to eat breakfast. The pillows were too high for me but that’s always preference, overall it was great Accomodation

- Julia (9/5): Great place to stay at Falls Creek - Upon arrival to our accommodation Jake was so lovely and helpful. We also liked that it was close to the ski lifts. Making it so much easier and enjoyable for our stay. There was noise coming from the bar below and the restaurant above for a couple of nights. But not every night thank goodness. Still had an awesome stay.

- Melanie (4/5): Loud venue no sleep - Located reasonably central Good hot tubs Nice manager Located next to a noisy venue The Man- people outside room any hour of the night usually loud and hover so forget about having window open for fresh air or quiet Located under a noisy restaurant with loud sounds of constant furniture moving and base music impossible to drown out with ear plugs Restaurant banging and doof doof start at 7am finish at 11pm Stuffy room Room for couple is tiny Bathroom towel heater burnt skin Basically left exhausted No room service other than emptying bins which seems under servicing for the price

- Shea (10/5): Great location, friendly staff, lovely facilities. - Great location, very close to the ski lifts so manageable for multiple trips in uncomfortable ski boots. The staff were extremely accomodating. Jake the manager was phenomenal The rooms are quite small but that’s the norm for ski resorts. Otherwise pretty great.
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Jake was absolutely wonderful. Right there at the end of a text msg or phone call if we needed anything or just had a general enquiry. The staff in both the restaurant and bar were extremely hospitable. Not a single thing bad I could say about the place. Everything was more than perfect.
- Melanie (7/5): Comfortable enough for a quick stay - The apartment is centrally located and within walking distance with the ski spots, cafes and shops. The kitchen needs maintenance. The pots, pans and other tools are sticky and rusty. Also, toiletries are limited considering the apartment is shared for 4 people.
- Robynne (9/5): Great place to stay while skiing. Lovely staff - The outdoor spas were amazing, especially after a day on the slopes. The room was everything that I needed. The bar was one of the best on the mountain Because I was at the bottom of the building the lights shone through the blinds at the window. Some additional window covering would fix the problem. Also, for the same reason I could hear The Man on Saturday night. Additional window covering would help with that as well

- Alex (9/5): Very luxurious stay in a convenient location - a wonderful experience! - Location was very convenient, facilities were nice and clean. Drying wardrobe in room was convenient. Store room was nice and big. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Restaurant was good. Spa was relaxing King suite was a bit cramped, Reduced winter breakfast menu was unfortunate.

- Steven (7/5): Well presented apartment in a great location with some minor issues - Included breakfast, free accommodation transfers. Great location close to gear rentals and Halley's Comet chairlift. Room was well presented and warm. Drying closet ensured that our wet gear would be warm and dry the next morning. Our room had a bit of an ant problem in the kitchen area which was unfortunately not rectified during our stay. Noisy banging and thumping sounds from the restaurant above us up until about 11:30pm each night meant that it was hard to get an early night's sleep. We notified management early on and they spoke to the restaurant staff however nothing really changed. Shower doesn't have a proper screen so the water does tend to splash out quite a bit.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - I am a falls creek regular for the snow season. This was the first time I tried the elk after seeing it many times and regularly having dinner there. Unfortunately the accomodation is poor. The room we had, apartment 10 seems good when you first arrive, the layout and features are fresh and modern. However functionality not so much. We had a large bed, mind you two singles pushed together with a sheet over it; plonked in the centre of the room, good luck trying to walk around the side of it. The room was dirty and not clean at all. The toilet had “residue” on it, the floor felt gritty and not clean. These things are disappointing when you are paying a premium to stay at a place like the elk how ever these can be omitted from your stay due to the fit out and Qulity. The topper for me to mark the elk 1 star was the noise... why ohh why would you put a room directly under the kitchen when the floor is timber.... 530am the banging begins with staff and guests stomping around for breakfast.... and then dinner... that concludes at 11pm Will I stay at elk again. Never, will I eat at the elk again, most likely not knowing the torture I am putting the people staying at apartment 10 under.
- Merrin (6/5): - Location Good, Daily house keeping a Joke, display pillows thrown onto bed and bed not even made, no clean towels and checking in time advertised at 2pm they Elk advised me 4pm. Room very small they advertise rooms with Kitchen and that's not the case, very disappointed advertising it as 4 star property.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had apartment 12. Which located on the outside. Which was perfect for my screaming kids and being away from the noise of everyone else. The rooms are warm and new. Kids loved the nexflix and stan on the tv. Restaurant was fancy but well priced. And Rochelle was amazingly helpful and accommodated everything that we asked for.
