The room was just okay, the decor was pieced together, the beds were not comfortable at all, it states new Tempur-Pedic beds but that is not the case. One room had 2 twins which was told it was 2 king rooms, so we had to push the beds together leaving someone in the crack most the time. The room also did not have curtains that went to the floor they were about 2 foot short, which made the room very bright all night long with the outside lights. The view of the water was great, however they have to put up nets on the balcony to keep anyone from falling which makes your view hard to see if you are sitting in the chair.

- danp412 (10/5): Fun and Eclectic Unique historical hotel! - I hate to write a review because the more people hear about this place the harder it will be for me to book when I want! Lol. Seriously this place is a one of a kind unique property. The view right on the channel is so nice off of the big back patio. A glass of wine and the sound of the fountain while watching the boats go by is so relaxing. The decor is so fun and eclectic. Lots of thought went into the artwork throughout the property and in every room. The pool is always clean and welcoming. The history behind this property is interesting as well going back to the 50’s. And some of the craftsmanship hasn’t changed since then. The bathroom tile work from the 50’s in the unit I stayed in was so cool. I love it! Now they’ve added a restaurant/bistro on the property. That’s nice for a glass of wine when you need one or even a steak! The owners live on the property so the care for the grounds is noticeable.

Had a room with a balcony facing the ICW where we could relax enjoy a glass of wine and watch the boats go bye ... lovely and peaceful. Only stayed for two nights but wished it could have been more, more, more etc. Room was perfectly appointed with a funky cool vibe - both furniture and art were unique and appreciated. Hosts/owners were there for whatever was needed. They even have a small restaurant (limited menu) on site that can take care of those quick cravings - sandwiches/salads/breakfast items etc.. Staff at NIBBLES was great, very accommodating. Location is great and close to everything. Another plus is that they offer free parking (unusual for the area). If you go try and get a room with an ICW view, if not your available your stay will still be great no matter.... enjoy!!

- Jet595377 (10/5): Ft. Lauderdale's Finest Boutique Hotel by Far!! - Russell and all of the staff especially at their eatery, Nibbles, were extremely friendly and helpful. Speaking of Nibbles, this is an extra bonus having great food right there on the premises! Our room was so unique and interesting, as well as the grounds. The pool was fantastic and the views from the back gardens overlooking the canal while the yachts boated past was a unique and amazing experience. It is also walking distance away from Ft. Lauderdale's beautiful beach and boardwalk with tons of restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful historical hotel.

This time we stayed in the garden suite. This place is clean and off the beaten path. It’s very walkable to the beach, and we didn’t have total far for breakfast. Now they have a nice little breakfast onsite. We took the Water Taxi that picked us up right at the gate along the water front. All you have to do is call them and let them know you are a hotel guest and to pick you up. Our room was great for our one night stay and staff is so friendly. Great coffee in the morning and the almond pastry was delicious.

We live on Florida's West Coast, and did a search of hotels near Bonnet House. When I came across Manhattan Tower, I was instantly drawn toward the mid-century styling, and after having read the history of this wonderful place, we decided to give it try. We had a two-night stay, and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. David was extremely responsive and helpful during my pre-arrangements, as well as once we were on the property. Our time there was even more pleasurable because of the on-property restaurant. Very good food, very good presentation of the food, and very reasonable pricing. Our dining experience for our dinners and breakfasts were outside, on the Intercoastal Waterway... very serene atmosphere. We're already planning to return in a few weeks for a pleasure trip. And, we've already begun sharing our experiences with our family and friends who visit Fort Lauderdale from time to time... Very highly recommend Manhattan Tower!

- vbeachgirl (10/5): Cannot Say Enough Good Things About Manhattan Tower! - My husband and I just returned from a 12 night stay over the holidays at Manhattan Tower. This was our second Christmas spent at this amazing apartment hotel. If you are looking for a different type of accommodation with a vintage feel that is cozy and comfortable where you can sit and watch all kinds of boats and yachts go by from your private balcony or from the many seating areas along the Intercoastal Waterway, book a unit at Manhattan Tower. Our family rented four different units and each one was lovely. They are not your cookie cutter rooms like you see in most hotels...each one is decorated differently with lots of eclectic touches, interesting furniture pieces, light fixtures and art. So much fun! We all did quite a bit of cooking for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day cocktail hours and meals together and the kitchens are very well equipped to whip up just about anything you can think of. There were seven of us and there was plenty of room in each place for all of us to comfortably hang out, eat, drink, and celebrate the holidays. The owners live on site and are so nice and accommodating and thoughtful and always available if anything comes up or to answer any questions. The small staff is also very friendly and helpful. Checking in is a breeze and to get to your room, you walk through a beautiful courtyard with lots of lush vegetation and a huge heated pool. We checked in on December 23rd and everything was decorated for Christmas with garlands and lights and wreaths...very festive! The waterfront side looked so ready for Christmas with so many lights and our unit, #108, looked like a Christmas disco inside at night...which I loved! The best part about Manhattan Tower is that it is pet friendly and we are able to bring our little dog with us. The location is perfect...a quiet neighborhood setting but only a couple of blocks, easily walkable, from the beautiful Fort Lauderdale beach and a few minutes drive to the Galleria Mall, multiple grocery stores and restaurants. Thank you to everyone at Manhattan Tower for making our Christmas Holiday stay so perfect. We will be back in 2023 for round three!

- danp412 (10/5): Almost indescribable! - We stay at Manhattan Towers every time we’re in town to drop our son at college. I’m so glad I found this place! It’s right on the inter-coastal, so you get to watch the parade of boats with the back-drop of beautiful homes across the way. The interior is designed with an eclectic touch of art. It’s very unique, and you can tell the owners personally have chosen every piece of art carefully. The bathroom in our unit appears to have the same fixtures since the 1950’s when GM executives used to convene here. And I’m saying that as a good thing. I love the throw-back look, but the kitchen is modern. There’s a very large terrace overlooking the waterway with more art features and plenty of seating. Every time I see a tour boat go by, I can here the captain explaining to the guests in the boat about the history of this hotel. They have a very nice and warm salt water pool. It must be 90-92 degrees. We stay in it for hours sometimes. The beds are very comfortable. We get a couple rooms for the family because the price is very reasonable. I feel Like this is my home away from home thanks to the wonderful owners personal attention when we arrive and the warm feeling we get by just the nature of this place. You’d have to experience to fully appreciate this place. The beach is an easy 3 block walk. There’s a very nice coffee shop at the Conrad at Breakers and Windamar that I love to walk to in the morning. Parking is literally 5 steps to the entry of the property. The place is kept up very nicely. We look forward to getting back every time.

Russ and Joseph (the owners) were there during our stay this past weekend and were very kind and sweet and were great hosts! My husband Jerry and I stayed in Apt. 203 and loved it. Everything was perfect in our apt. and was much more interesting than staying in a hotel. The furnishings were so cool and eclectic!! The Manhattan Tower is right on the Intracoastal canal. It has lovely landscaping and real nice places to sit out on the water and have a glass of wine while you watch the boats go by. We had no issue with parking, which was really nice. Our apt. was exceptionally clean and well appointed. We went down for the air show and loved it, but it was really nice to get back to the Manhattan Tower at the end of each day to some peace and quiet. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Ft. Lauderdale. Thank you Kate, Russ and Joseph!!

The accommodations were great and the staff was as friendly and helpful as you could ask for. If you truly want to enjoy a relaxing vacation I highly recommend this lovely Boutique Hotel. The intracoastal views are out of this world with a constant parade of yachts and sailboats. The staff has gone out of their way to decorate their hotel with more eye candy than can be described and the property is clean, clean, clean. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous from their beautiful patio. We will certainly return!
- Dontwantmynameposted (8/5): Eclectic hidden gem - Our neighbors booked a couple of weeks here and we decided to join them for a few nights. It honestly feels more like an airbnb. Owners are on property and there are some snowbirds who stay for months. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. We were running late to check in and the front desk clerk Kate just gave our neighbor the key to our unit, saying she'd check us in formally the next day. It's nice to know there's still trust of strangers in this world. This place has the feel of an art deco hotel from the 50's....well...because it is. Has cool eclectic vibes. We had a studio. It was well equipped for what we needed. While they don't have an actual guest laundry on site, they do allow use of the property's facility, which was nice. Best of all it's on the canal and it's peaceful to watch the boats go by. The water taxi even stops there if you flag it down. Recommend getting a room facing the canal, so you have a private balcony to enjoy. Nice adult getaway place. Only giving 4 starts because it's a bit pricey. It's market price for the area but this is an older property and I feel it's difficult to justify the same price as a high-rise newer unit.

- Dream448257 (2/5): Unreasonable - My wife recently had an eye surgery and can't fly for 8 weeks. The insurance company tried to book this place, they said (A they don't do 3rd party bookings. Yet, the place comes up on all the 3rd party websites. B) said they absolutely under no circumstances would make an exception for any sort of reason. We are now scrambling to try and find a place because we found out about this THE NIGHT BEFORE our stay. I guess another hotel will be happy to accept a stay for 8 weeks at full price.

Every apartment is different, its like staying in a B&B, lots of eclectic vibe going on which we love. The property and grounds are immaculate, We were in room 208 which is along the waterway and huge! 2 large bedrooms and 2 remodeled bathrooms. We were given a bottle of champagne when we checked in by the staff. This is a wonderful property that we will definitely return to when we are in fort lauderdale again. Restaurants are within an easy walk, and if you like cooking our room has a full large kitchen. I enjoy places that are not the cold cookie cutter hotel rooms. This place hass character and class.

Next time would book earlier and get a room with a water view.

Not the most kid friendly due to these decorations, but we made due and luckily didn't break anything! My only complaint was the balcony and it's rails, they were very sturdy, but too far apart and unsafe for small kids (but we were made aware of this on arrival). Will def return!

When we came in when we found out that our flight was delayed and will not be getting in till 3 o'clock in the morning he told us he would leave the room unlocked keep the keys in there and enjoy your stay. Everything the rest of that night was great until 8 o'clock in the morning and they were guests upstairs with young children Who were constantly running up and down the stairs making a lot of noise and we could not get back to sleep

Our room was overlooking the canal and we watched the huge yachts pass by as well as the sunsets. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the parking was tough, if the stalls we full you had to double park. But we were ther on a very busy weekend so maybe normally it would not be so full. If I could it a 4.5 I would. Everything was amazing except the parking.

- Diana R (10/5): Manhattan Tower is a delightful accommodation! - This is a classic 1950's-era studio apartment that has plenty of modern updates, especially in the kitchen area, TV and bed. We had a room on the second floor with a view of the Intracoastal Waterway (a complete wall of windows, floor to ceiling), which is both fascinating and lovely. The hotel is quiet, clean and well-managed; we dropped off our luggage in the morning, and upon our afternoon checkout, we discovered that our luggage had been brought to our room. Bonus: we stayed over New Year's Eve, and received a complimentary bottle of champagne; also, the outside multi-colored holiday lights on the patio reflected onto the ceiling of the room, which delighted us! We would stay again at this lovely hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Adequate but way over priced - The Manhattan Tower Apartment Hotel was old and out dated. Our room had an unpleasant smell, which for the most part we were able to air out but it's Fort Lauderdale so it was too hot to leave the windows open for very long. There was never a person around to ask questions at the desk as you enter or towards the back of the property where there is a sitting area. We never saw a person tending to those areas. I had a question one day and looked all over for someone, on my second try one of the maids tried to help me out. I do want to mention that at the front entrance there was a phone# for Russell taped to the lobby door, I'm not sure who he was but he always answered and was helpful. It was definitely not a Hotel experience more like a 2.5-3 star vacation rental feel to it.
