Susan (10/5): - Great room obviously recently renovated with the exception of the bath! Nice lounge / bar area. Sraff were great and everywhere clean. Only complaint is walls were very thin. I was lucky to have quiet neighbours. Would definitely come back. Note no all day restaurant or cafe and dinner must be booked. There is a well stocked self service area with drinks and snacks.

F (6/5): - Mooi hotel, nette kamer, rustig gelegen. Genoeg parkeergelegenheid. Maar dan…….geen restaurant in de buurt dus je bent aangewezen op het restaurant on het hotel. Een eenvoudige hap ie er niet, meteen naar haute cuisine met de daaraan gekoppelde prijs! Bijvoorbeeld het ontbijt is niet inbegrepen en kost €19 p.p. Conclusie, na een lange, vermoeiende reis wil je iets eenvoudigs eten en nog een keer op zoek gaan naar een restaurant. Dit is een gemiste kans want voor ons is er geen volgende keer meer.

Ray (6/5): - Check in all good. Room 117. Excellent air con in room !! Sink plug closed and wouldn’t open. Water not getting away. Hubby looked at it underneath and said it looked as if it had been broken ‘for a while’. Down to reception and in fairness the girl came up and had a look. Couldn’t mend. I misunderstood as I thought someone else was coming to get it mended. I was wrong. Anyway went down and had a lovely swim in the pool. Then to dinner. This is where management need to step up their training of staff and their food quality. 2 men on duty and 1 obviously more senior/experienced. Lots of tiny things such as giving water but no glasses, not taking the order properly and having to repeat many times, not checking who is getting what and setting down the wrong food, not clearing dinner things before dessert,literally taking glasses and plates away before you were finished , not returning promptly… you get the picture. It was not just our table either as we noticed several tables waiting / asking again for items etc. We did not think that the food was so good either. Chips not cooked properly- how can a 4 star hotel get this wrong? Hubby did not really rate the burger either. It is not as if the place was busy. Dessert was good. Staff (under care of management) need more training. Excellent night’s sleep- great quality bed linen and very comfortable bed. Shower all good. No hairdryer (that we could find) - 4 stars? Breakfast the next day was very good compared to dinner.

Nosotros reservamos una gran habitacion de 30m2 y me entregaron las llaves de 2 hab, la 203 y 205 que no se comunicaban porque la puerta entre ella estaba cerrada. Un desastre y solo usamos la 205. La bañera estaba embozada ademas. El aire acondicionado no funciono y hacia mucho ruido.

There is a bar and dining options , but if taking your dog as it’s pet friendly, there is an additional charge of 30€ , which we thought is very expensive when compared to other pet friendly hotels.

Except the nice man at the restaurant not everyone had service in his blood. Our feeling was, that it was not fully staffed. Our dog got a warm welcome, the minimum you could expect with a price tag of 30 Euros per night.

Rezeption war leider überhaupt nicht erreichbar. Begründung hierfür war der Personalmangel vor Ort.

John (10/5): Great place to stay when traveling - The hotel is a great place for an overnight stay when traveling. as its very near the airport and the motorway. Although not an issue for us, it pays to book a table in advance if you wish to dine in the hotel. Especially if arriving a bit late as when we were there, a number of people were turned away , at only 2115

George (8/5): A functional stay - We srrived in the afternoon and the hotel is very modern and clean. There was only one member staff on duty, and on arrival, we were informed that a shuttle to the airport next should have been booked and would depend on the availability of drivers. This obviously concerned us, as this was one of the reasons for choosing the hotel. The bar opened at about 7.30pm and restaurant, about 8.00pm. the food was very nice and the staff pleasant and effective. As it happened, it became possible to arrange the airport dropoff, which was on time.
Jonathan (6/5): Hotel ok, food terrible!! - Room was lovely. Bath was a little annoying to shower in as the sides protruded quite a bit where you stand. The water however went from hot to cold to scalding various times throughout the shower. The biggest issue during the stay however was the evening meal. Dreadful would be an understatement. My partner’s cabbage, potato, and bacon starter did not come with bacon - it was a slab of fat. My pork ribs main had all but no meat on it - just fat. And half of the desserts were off the menu, leaving me with no available choice. The receptionist in the morning did refund almost half the meal, but in all honesty the meal was such a shambles she should have just refunded the entire amount. I’d stay in the hotel again if I had no better choice, but I certainly wouldn’t have the evening meal again. Breakfast was better as it was a buffet, so when I discovered a lump of gristle in my bacon I was able to move onto something else 😒
David (6/5): Good location. Bad breakfast. - Convenient for the motorway. Breakfast supposed to start at 7. I had to leave at 7:30 but by 7:15 barely any food out and very poor selection even by time I was leaving. Don’t go here for the breakfast!!!

Alexander (10/5): Excellent stop-over - We first stayed in this hotel when it was under previous ownership. It is very conveniently located for our journey from France to Spain. The new owners have done a first class refurbishment and all parts of the hotel are a marked improvement. We shall certainly be staying here again.

Not the easiest place to find in the rain and the dark as it is at the end of a sort of unnamed track and you think you are on the wrong road,but continue and the hotel is about 250 mtrs at the the end.

Alan (6/5): Airport stopover - Great location to stay for an early morning flight the communal areas are modern, light and clean however our room smelt of stale smoke not sure if there was an option to ask for a no smoking room I suggest you try! No food or bar service during the day after breakfast or before evening dinner. Large patio and pool area we were offered pool towels and the staff were friendly.
Steve (10/5): Nice hotel but poor service - Nice hotel reasonably priced good food. Only issue was only one person manning the bar, main restaurant and terrace restaurant. He did his very best but I tried to order a second drink and it took 40 minutes. There were at least 30 people and he was trying to take food and drink orders, wait tables inside and out and man the bar. Impossible to give proper service.
K.C. (8/5): - The hotel is nice if you have a car and you are exploring Costa Brava here and there. Sometimes depending on the wind you can smell the fertilizer outside. The rooms are clean, the buffet is good.$ 20Eu. A client, a snobby french old couple, complained because we were having our own sandwiches on a table outside by the patio next to the pool on a super hot summer night. They were having their fancy dinner a couple of tables behind sipping 2 bottles of wine. we were in silence, but maybe we were disturbing their view! And a nervous waiter came to tell us about the compaint... NO sandwiches outside the patio! You judge!

John (10/5): Very enjoyable great value for money - last stay here when the hotel was a Novotel. The hotel has not changed but the atmosphere is more friendly and relaxed. The set evening meal in the restaurant was fantastic value at €20 for three courses which were very generously portion and of good quality. The wine list is also very reasonable with house wine only €8.50 per bottle. The outside area was well maintained and the swimming pool was clean. I would highly recommend the hotel for overnight or short stays

Kathy (10/5): - We have used this hotel several times now on our drive to Spain. The staff are always friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is also a lovely pool set in large well kept grounds although we have not yet stayed long enough to make use of it.
Sheila (10/5): A hotel with a rural feel near Girona. - The hotel is close to the motorway AP 7 making its access convenient. The setting of the hotel was nice, with no big buildings near by giving it a "rustic" feel (which some might feel as being a little isolated) . The room was a good size with separate toilet and shower, and having an outlook onto the ample grounds of the hotel. Bikes could be rented if one wanted to explore the area. The pool was large but being outdoor it was not open in February. There was also an exercise room which we didn't make use of. Staff were all friendly and courteous. The set evening meal was good value as was the breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

Difficult to find however as it is hidden from the motorway roundabout and signage is almost non existant.

Gardens well maintained and good sized pool with sunbeds. Room air-conditioned and spacious. Restaurant poor. Menu looked good + was reasonably priced but food was badly cooked + presented.
KT (8/5): Lovely hotel very quiet - An excellent hotel with great facilities. Although near the airport very quiet. However no paths to walk to the terminal & no hotel transfer coach so had to taxi the 5 min journey.

Susan (10/5): Great Airport Hotel - Great location for a pre-flight accommodation. Comfortable, clean rooms and a pool for relaxing. No shuttle service but 10 minute can ride to airport. Restaurant serves buffet only. Take away breakfast available.
Sue (10/5): Lovely hotel, close to airport. - The hotel was very clean, the staff very helpful, the food was delicious. The hotel,was exactly what we wanted, close to the airport for an overnight stay, would definitely go back if we are in the area again.
John (8/5): - Nice hotel close to Girona Airport (about 2 mins drive) in a quiet concealed area - despite being very close to the motorway, train line & airport itself it was surprisingly very quiet. Situated in it's own grounds the hotel's public areas are very modern & clean with good facilities inc secure car park & swimming pool. The rooms however are a little dated and the sink in the bathroom didn't drain properly. The bathroom fittings (shower only with separate WC) were old fashioned. We had an excellent fixed price meal in the restaurant 15 euros for 3 courses plus a glass of wine + water. Overall the hotel is very good value.

Michael (6/5): Good Hotel, a bit too far from Girona and no A/C - Hotel was well situated for the airport but not for the city. Since the cab to the city was expensive we decided to have breakfast at the hotel and go to Barcelona earlier. Otherwise the hotel is clean and room sizes are very good for European standards. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning or at least it wasn't on for the month of May although it was quite hot.

Ed (8/5): Good hotel. - Easy check in. Not far from the airport and good for travelling on, as the next exit on the roundabout leads to the motorway. Not a four star hotel but good value for money. Good breakfast. Good sized room with comfortable beds. Would stay again.

Damjan (10/5): Great hotel for a small price - Arrived only at night, so stayed only for 8h. However, it is a very good hotel, with lovely rooms. The pool wasn't still open. Disappointing factor was the price of the taxi, 15 eur for a 2 min drive to the airport.
Larry (10/5): Great place to stay. - Wonderful hotel and great place to stay with a dog. Very clean and classy reception and bar area. Plenty of land to exercise the dog. 5stars all the way.
Paul (10/5): Great stop-over for a one nighter. - Very handy for breaking a journey as it’s right next to a motorway junction. A modern and comfortable hotel. The restaurant food was exceptional value and the staff very attentive.

SUSAN (2/5): Expensive and very poor - Dreadful place. This hotel is classed as 4* but is anything but. We waited over half an hour to start to be served with a drink for dinner. We arrived at 1900 hrs half an hour after we were told it was open. One inexperienced girl was trying to cope with bar and restaurant. When l complained the receptionist said the other waiter did not start until 1900hrs it was 2035 by then and he was just arriving. No menu to choose from just a couple of verbal options. Far too expensive for what it was. Normally stay at local Ibis for better food and service at half the price !! Sadly they were fully booked.
