• benhJ2369VY (10/5): Ignore the bad reviews - Halfway through our stay today (30/09) and loving it at Isla. We have stayed here for the last 4 years and always enjoyed it. Very friendly staff and no hassle. We are staying in rooms in the block that faces the main road and they have been modernised over the last 12 months. Much smarter and modern. Aircon is seemingly included and now the balcony doors are rigid, you should get a great night sleep even with the local chickens and the early prayer call. Perfect location, walk to the front and surrounded by shops and supermarkets. Try and get to Dr Jivago bar just round the corner, the owner is lovely as is the pub cat 😺

Very basicMaid service (twice in 2 weeks and then it was poor) no clean bed linen, no towel rails. no cutlery. Plates or hob on arrival. No hot water for a week, round pool dirty. Rooms thin, blamed for other people's rubbish. Asked for twin beds and got double, partner had to sleep on couch for tea weeks

Man on reception wasnt very polite and I would never go again there. Room was good renovate, but very cold because there is another bulding 2 meters from windows so no sun .and aircondition was not working

• H1051ZDlisas (4/5): I wouldn't stay here for free - I wouldn't stay here for free. Rooms very run down, wires hanging out of walls, handle hanging off patio door, toilet seat hanging off. Also I don't appreciate being bullied by the manager every morning / evening you go out, sitting on the sofa waiting for you to walk through the reception to haggle with you to have breakfast there, to change to half board, to book tickets to a Turkish night or a bbq. We book self catering to eat out every night and try different foods. If I wanted to stay and eat in a hotel I'd book all inclusive. After we refused to eat there we got totally blanked by the manager for the rest of stay. Fine by me penfold!!!!!
• ChrisLeami (6/5): Bit Disapointing - Stayed here before last time was fine, this time was rather disappointing, we booked with travel republic when booking their was three different prices for the sae date I paid the most expensive thinking I would get the best room how wrong I was. Got there and was given a room 3 floors up i would say not a luxury room either, and they wasn’t to know I was awaiting a hip operation. I saw the manager next day and to be fair he was ok and moved us to a room in the roof, there was a lift in this block we liked it was but was really hot, another downside was you banged your head on the ceiling. I was surprised they were no cutlery we went out and bought our own and only a microwave no cooker. The cleaner was the laziest we have come across I could spend ages on this but will just say if she worked for me she would be out of a job. Never went in the pool so can’t comment .
• Wander688429 (4/5): if face fits ur ok - We had apartment it was clean, well it was cleanish, but we only had micro wave and kettle NO COOKER, POTS OR PANS, for are apartment, them found out by another holiday family when we was leaving we was to ask the cleaner for them, the bar staff was lovely BUT THE PERSON ON RECEPTION (MAN WITH GLASSES AND BLACKISH CURLY HAIR) WAS VARY RUDE, asked if we could keep room on (manage in bar said we could for £20 (not a problem) want the following morning to pay reception to find out that we could not (but the 2 couples behind us did) unless you please them in some way you are ok.
• 481jimg (2/5): Stay away from here - Isla Apart Marmaris Stay away from here . 972377904 We arrived back of midnight and we're put into an apartment on the 3rd floor although the room was number 117.There is no lift and my wife struggled to get up 3 levels of stairs we are both in our 60,s and my suffers from COPD, the next day I went to try and change the room to the other block which has a lift and speak to the Jet2 rep regarding this . We were told there was nothing he could do that day but to go back the following day.Their were 3 of us requiring to be moved one a woman had bad knees and the other who was on the ground floor but her patio and know view and stank of dog excrement. I went back the next day and the woman on the ground floor had been moved ,the woman with bad knees had been offered her room and refused then we were offered it which we refused and that was that ,the arrogant person on the main desk didn't help us one bit and we had to stay there for the week absolute joke of a place our holiday was spoiled and it restricted us going out due the issues,also the apartment says self catering it has a microwave that's it no cutlery or plates this is all a ploy to get you ripped off in the bar.
• Verified traveler (2/5): - Very unclean. Towels that were supposed to be white but were grey (and ripped). Dirty marks on walls. A fridge with a dent in it. No lift facilities. We were put on the top floor with a newborn baby and expected to walk up 3 flights of stairs each time. Hair on bedsheets. It was so bad that we had to find alternative accommodation for the rest of our stay. Reception staff very unhelpful. We will not be staying again.
• owlsontour76 (6/5): Decent room, good location - Upon arrival check in smooth and pretty quick, we paid extra for air con which we already knew about but there was 2 units in the room and they wanted money each day for each one. It was so hot that we needed both. There was no safe in room and told there wasn’t enough for all the rooms, apparently they are mobile and just bring the room (hardly safe!) The room itself was ok, we were in room 506 and the ceilings were sloped so if you’re a taller person you will bang your head a lot. We were only given 1 room key and were told this is management decision and under no circumstances could we have a second one The bar manager is quite pushy with trying to sell trips and get people to upgrade to half board option, he soon got message we weren’t interested in any of his trips. We did however upgrade to half board for 5 of the days at a cost of £300 for 3 people, we found this pretty good value as the food was really nice. Moments after we’d agreed to upgrade a second room key suddenly became available for us! The pool area is tiny and crammed with beds, definitely not a relaxing atmosphere when there during peak times of UK holidays. We mainly used the beach or the pool at always karaoke bar All in all I’d say if you’re wanting somewhere to sleep in a good location then it’s fine but if you’re on a budget and wanting to use the ‘kitchen facilities’ then I’d give a miss because there wasn’t even a sharp enough knife to cut a tomato never mind trying to cook anything

• RonnieTheSharkClark (2/5): AVOID AVOID AVOID - We arrived at Isla Apartments July 2024 and on arrival it looks modern and reception was most welcoming. Everything running so smoothly it was almost too good to be true. Then upon walking into our room 107 the nightmare began, on booking a 2 bedroom we only discover they had put us into a 1 bedroom. The bed was so uncomfortable in the room we slept on the sofa that in honesty I have had more comfort in a prison cell. Being on holiday we accepted this and tried to make the best of a bad situation. Then it come to looking around and the best words to explain this was simply WOW. The tv had a remote for a whole different tv and explaining this to reception they handed us new batteries, hmmmm. ‘The remote is for a different tv’. WTF The worktop looked like someone had been cutting on it with a battle axe. It had the worst stains on it I was contemplating it had been maybe used as a work bench. The cooking facilities were non existent, you won’t get that hob you paid for rather a cheap microwave. The induction fan looked like they picked it up in a scrap yard covered in rust. The sink was stained that bad that the toilet was actually cleaner than it, a rusty stainless tap?!? Who would believe it. Our shower door was smashed and later that day I discovered it on the roof outside my balcony, well the trims of it atleast. Showering was impossible it projected in every direction apart from at the person using it. The smell every day from the kitchen was sickening we kept the door closed to try prevent it. The slide for the kids was on for a very limited time in the day. No entertainment rather a forced bingo night every night at £5 or 200lira a ticket. They hassle you to buy the tickets and drag it out to keep yo u at the bar as long as possible, then calling the numbers you can’t even understand. The bar manager coco is so rude and obnoxious I am surprised he hasn’t been hit. He is very rude to women and children. We booked this place on a recommendation on a instagram page but to be honest I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this hotel. I can go on all night about this place. I have below attached a few photos but this is a fraction of the problem. The one positive I can say is a few of the staff were pure and kind and I hope a nice hotel finds these guys Mehmet Mehmer and Alex they are too good of people to be dragged into this money grabbing establishment. If you do go here pay your bill dailly otherwise they will give you extra things on your bills and have you paying double bills. Keep your receipts. Sad you need to do this but the management will do anything to extort money out you.
• chriscC6583UK (2/5): Wet and hot for all the wrong reasons - Charge £70 for air conditioning but only give you one key so can't use when out of room, owner does this deliberately. It's 40°, unbelievable. No safes, despite asking for 3 days, apparently there are only 8 safes for 43 rooms. Missing shower screen in bathroom, so water goes everywhere and no screen/blind on door to balcony so everyone can see in from main road and let's sun heat through, reported at reception but nothing done.
• 747ajayj (2/5): Worst holiday experience ever - I genuinely don’t know where to begin, this is the 2nd year in a row I’ve been at the Isla suite in 2023 the staff were absolutely amazing this year they were terrible apart from Mehmet (bar) he is the nicest kindest one out of all of them. The new bar manager reminds me of penfold out of danger mouse he’s rude and obnoxious unless things are going his way and your spending money in the apartments unless you pay your bill on the day then there’s a possibility you’ll have things added on that you never bought. The room I was in was filthy when I arrived and the strong smell of sewage was enough to make my stomach turn I had to buy cleaning products to clean it. The sockets where hanging of the walls there is only 2 in a family room by the way and the light switch gives you a shock every time you switch it on. The flooring had pieces missing and I cut all my foot thankfully I had bandaids and antiseptic wipes to clean it. The night time entertainment was awful I would definitely not recommend this hotel to the stray cats that walk the streets of Marmaris it’s put me off returning to Turkey for a holiday and definitely should have an inspection done
• Guide40566991735 (10/5): Such an amazing place & holiday - Me & my partner stayed here for 14 nights and had the most amazing time. The rooms are spacious, modern & include all kitchen utensils you require as we booked self catering. There is shops close by which sell all necessities at cheap prices. The staff in the hotel are lovely, and very helpful. The pool has sun all day & a slide, and the staff always help accommodate you a sun lounger in your preferred spot. The rooms contain 2 air cons, however we wasn’t aware until we arrived that it is £5 a night to use each one, we only paid for the kitchen one & left our card in the holder so it could stay on all day and the room always remained cold, and the reception staff was happy to provide us with a second card for the room in order for us to leave the air con on all day even whilst we was out. The whole stay was amazing start to finish, and you are a 2 minute walk from the beach. Would recommend anyone to stay here & me and my partner will definitely be coming back.
• J4847VJcharlies (10/5): Amazing hotel - Came back after been a few years ago , totally changed looks amazing now very nice rooms beds comfy very clean lovely pool area but not very big amazing service nothing is a problem they go out of there way for you . Food beautiful staff so very friendly make you feel so welcome different entrainment every night . Needed a tooth out while there and management sorted it out for me and took me to dentist and brought me back can’t wait to go back would defo recommend anyone to go
• A8010PYcolinr (8/5): Great, had a fantastic time. - We stayed here from the 3rd of July for 2 weeks and had a great time. We were half board and you have a decent amount of options to choose from although there are more when you ask and not just what is first pointed out to you. All the staff are really friendly and we never had any problems with any of them although the manager is a wee bit grumpy but that’s probably from the long hours they work. The rooms are spotless and cleaned regularly too. The pool is nice although can be a bit busy at times but that’s to be expected when you go during school holidays. We will be back in two years time for another visit. Also has a tattoo parlour connected to hotel.

• lyndaball (10/5): Best holiday ever !! - What a fantastic holiday ! Started off with some issues due to Love Holidays, but soon sorted . Most of the staff exceptional, especially Onur , Omar and Mehmet. Let down by the guy on the desk at night - incredibly rude and unhelpful. Stood waiting at 4 in the morning for him to check us in while he continued chatting to his friend! No help to get luggage to our room as we were put in the building with no lift on the second floor! I walk with a stick and my daughter obviously couldn’t do it by herself. She was told repeatedly by him to shut up and when we reported this lied and said he didn’t say it ! Funny how he pulled us when we came in and said he didn’t say it - how did he know it was her who had reported him if he didn’t say it !? Food below average , but plenty of lovely restaurants very close brilliant food and much cheaper.Hotel facilities very good , nice bar and swimming pool. Apartment lovely , cleaned daily and free tv and Wi-Fi (always paid for both when we’ve stayed elsewhere) Lovely lady in charge of the staff called Seyla , knowledgeable, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were moved into another apartment in the building with a lift after 2 days . On site tattoo artist , absolutely fantastic and very reasonable pricing ( much cheaper than at home ) both my daughter and I had new ink on our last day , which we love . Would highly recommend. I’m looking to book for next year already! Excellent apartments , housekeeping and bar staff. We met some amazing people who quickly became firm friends. People were so helpful and kind . Big up to Seyla- you are incredible! Brilliant value for money , we’ve been to Turkey many , many times and this is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed ! Keep on doing what you do .

• PaulaE466 (10/5): Loved it! - I came with my daughter Amber just recently and stayed for 10 nights. The hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious with a small fridge, microwave and kettle. The maid comes daily to clean. The hotel is in a great location right in the city centre close to the beach with some nice restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The pool area is very popular with hotel guests. The pool is cleaned every day and gets sun all day long. Great music and wonderful cocktails with BOGOF. The food is also excellent. Special mention to : Onur, Osman, Mehmet, Ömer, sarı and Koko who make this hotel so entertaining. They’re always happy to help and give positive vibes to all their guests. We had a wonderful time and next time we’re in Marmaris we’ll definitely stay here again.
• ginacY6488BN (8/5): Summer break - We stayed in The Isla Appartments here in Marmaris June 18th to July 2nd. What makes this hotel is the fantastic staff who work 24/7 in the heat to provide us with a great holiday experience, namely Mehmet, Mert, Omar, Alex. From start to finish of the holiday they were here for us. We Really bonded with these guys + are missing them already.. Initially there was a few small issues with the room (loose sockets , hairdryer + the wonderful lady from the front of house (Seyla) was up to sort it. Rooms were cleaned daily+fresh towels given daily..The food was lovely in the snack bar. Will be back, Gina, Greg, Ali+ Daragh xx

• Islayule04 (10/5): Amazing stay - Just back from an amazing 11 night stay. The room was immaculate and very nicely designed, the pool was clean and easily accessible to the bar nearby. Staff were amazing in particular Onur, Merk and Mehmet who all made the holiday more enjoyable. We ate at the restaurant a couple times and although not as good as some of the other restaurants we ate at the food was still good. The location is very convenient with short walks to the beach, marina and more lively bars and restaurants. We had a small hiccup at the start which jet2 and the hotel were able to sort very quickly and we are very grateful for that. The onsite tattoo shop is fantastic and efficient and is amazing in making custom tattoos to suit exactly what you are looking for. My boyfriend and I both got tattoos on our last day and are in love with them. If we come back to Marmaris next year it will definitely be to this hotel!
• christinasU4142IW (10/5): Fantastic hotel amazing staff - I didn't stay at this hotel but my family did due to me booking later than them and being unable to get booked in..the staff were absolutely amazing they welcomed me in to be with my family every day allowing us to use there facilities and restaurant me and my 2 young boys spent the full week here food was beautiful drinks were cheap hotel and pool is spotless and has an amazing tattooist who i got a tattoo from and its absolutely stunning the work he does and I loved it that much I'm booking up to come back to this apartments next year all the staff were fantastic but extra special thanks to mehmet and muirr who always go above and beyond to make everything perfect can't wait to see everyone again next year

The rooms are lovely and always clean, and with English news channels on the TV. The staff were amazing and always going above and beyond to help. Special mentions to Onur, Mert and Mehmet as they always made sure we were well looked after! Seyla was also somebody who was always there to ensure everybody had the best experience possible and she was absolutely amazing at listening and solving any problems had. Already planning another trip back in September to see all the staff again for another brilliant holiday!

• Ahmet (2/5): Lütfen okuyup ona göre rezervasyon yapın - Çift olarak; Kahvaltı dahil satın aldık sabah uyanıp kahvaltıya indiğimizde ise kahvaltı dedikleri şeyin bir kedi maması kadar az 1 yumurta, 1 bardak çay, 5 zeytin, 5-6 dilim küçük ekmek 2 küçük parça salatalık bir küçük reçel bir küçük tereyağı paketi olduğunu gördüğümüzde bizimle dalga geçtiklerini düşündük. Gerçekten kendi paramızla mülteci gibi hissettik, böyle kalitesiz insanın aklıyla oynar bir durumla karşılaşacağımızı düşünmemiştik, BİR DAHA ASLA TERCİH ETMEYECEĞİZ.

• Natalie (10/5): Excellent hotel - This place is a little gem, having stayed in a few hotels in Marmaris, this is by far the best and will definitely book again. Rooms are modern and spotless, bed and towels changed daily by the lovely cleaner. Nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely be back

• A.karim9 (4/5): You have to pay for Air Conditioning 😒 - The location is the only saving grace. Never have I been to a hotel/apartment where you had to pay for the AC to work, only 1 AC works free of charge, if you want any others to work, there is a charge of £5 a day, I was left speechless, apparently this is stated on the Bookings.com website which we totally missed, so just in case you do too, here it is, IF you read my review obviously.
• Laura (7/5): Good stay - The hotel rooms were lovely, nice balcony too, very modern, bed was comfy enough. Spacious too Having to pay extra for aircon, the rooms were boiling hot, i believe aircon should be included into the price and not paid for every night! Abit of a scam

Initially when we were checking in they tried to charge us extra for using the air-con as heating.No hot water in the bathroom taps, only in the shower.In one of our rooms that we booked there was no duvets and instead they gave thin sheets,when we requested duvets they said that we have ran out.Wi-Fi was not working up until our last day but this was not in there hands.Overall it was ok.

• Kadir (8/5): Konaklama - Yatakları ile ilgili ciddi sıkıntı var konfordan oldukça uzak maalesef, kanepeler için birşey söylemem ama yatakların yaylarının sesleri bile kulağınıza geliyor. Otelin yeri çok merkezi havuz yeterli fakat su kaydırağının suyunun kapalı olması ilginç, genel olarak rahat bir ortam . Mutfak malzemeleri yetersiz bu nedenle yanınızda mutlaka getirmelisiniz.

• Ossama (2/5): À Fuir !!!!!!!!!! - Responsable d’hotel qui essaye de vous arnaquer dès votre arrivée en vous demandant de rajouter plus d’argent sinon vous prenez vos valises et vous allez voir ailleurs. Heureusement qu’hotels.com s’est interposé rapidement et a réglé le problème. Personnel désagréable femme de ménage insultante er meprisante. J’avais l’impression que j’étais plus un travailleurs sous contrat dans l’établissement qu’un client ! Lors du check-out ils m’ont demandé de payer pour les dégâts du canapé lit qui était déjà endommagé à mon arrivée. Lorsque j’ai osé deander une preuve que c’est bien moi le fautif et non la personne avant mon arrivée, on m’a enfermé dans la chambre avec 2 hommes et le directeur de l’établissement à tenter de me frapper. Son poing était à quelques millimètres de mon visage. J’ai hurlé pour que l’on appel la police. Ils se sont rapidement calmés et après un tres long moment enfermé attendant une police qui n’est jamais arrivé, m’on demander de payer 200 TL afin que je puisse être libéré. Je suis scandalisé, sous le choc qu’Hotel.com propose se genre d’établissement sur son site. Je pensais que cela était un cas isolé mais apres quelques recherches sur internet sur les avis google et tripatvisor, j’ai remarqué que énormément de personnes on été soit arnaqué soit voler par cette hotel. Je n’oublierais jamais l’agression subi, les menaces reçues. C’est personne mérite d’être condamné pour cela !! Je vous promet fuyez au maximum cet hotel il n’est pas digne de vous !!
• Verified traveler (8/5): Bu otele yapılan rezervasyonlar euroya endeksli - HOTELS. com'dan ısla Apart otele 2ay önceden erken rezervasyon yaptırdım otelde öde seçeneği vardı onu seçtim, otelde ödenecek tutarı vergiler dahil bana gösterdi hatta ne olur ne olmaz deyip ekran fotoğrafı aldım ancak otele gittiğimde fiyatın değiştiğini HOTELS. com acentesiyle euroya endeksli anlaştıklarını euronun artması sebebiyle farkın çıktığını söylediler gelmiş olduğumuz başka seçeneğimiz olmadığı için parayı farkı ile beraber verdim. Daha önceden arayıp biz üç arkadaş kalacağız üç tekli yatak konulması gerekiyor diye söylediğimde kolay o, ayarlarız denmişti ama otele gittiğimde yataklar 2 kişi tek kişilik yatakta, 1 kişi kanepede yatacak denildi bir arkadaşımız kanepede ne yapalım idare edicez kanepede ben yatarım demeseydi biz üç arkadaş hepimiz aynı parayı veriyoruz ben niye kanepede yatıcam tartışması çıkabilirdi ve tatil zehir olabilirdi bunu hesap edin. Personel ilgisiz içeri girerken ne hoş geldiniz, günaydın v.s. demiyorlar hatta çıkarken bavulları elimizde gidiyoruz, resepsiyondaki kız, birde kadın vardı biz çıkıyoruz herhangi bir ücret v. s. verilecek bir şey kaldımı diye sordum verdiği cevap sadece "yok herhangi bir şey" oldu insan hayırlı yolculuklar yine bekleriz der. Otelin iyi yönleri konumu güzel, otelin yanına arabanızı parkedebiliyorsunuz, hemen hemen hergün temizlik yapıyorlar. Otelin bütün eşyaları yeni gibi, banyosu güzel kliması var ve havuzuda güzel.

• MESUT (8/5): Fiyat / performans bakımından gayet yeterliydi. - İlk akşam plajdan otele geç dönüş sonrası merkezi su ısıtma sisteminde fazla yüklenmeden ötürü olduğu belirtilen sıcak su tükenmesi kaynaklı duşta su oldukça soğuktu. Ancak şikayetimiz üzerine ertesi sabah su ısıtma cihazı hemen bağlandı. Odanın en üst katta olması sebebiyle tüm gün güneş yiyen oda klima ile bile tam anlamıyla serinlemiyordu ama buna da yapacak bir şey yoktu. Bunların dışındaki diğer tüm konularda otel gayet yeterliydi ( gerçi oteli sadece gece yatmak için kullandık ) ve fiyat / performans açısından değerlendirildiğinde memnun olduğumu söyleyebilirim. Otel konum olarak da gayet iyiydi.

• ahmed fethi (2/5): The worst hotel apart in Marmaris,stay away - We stayed there for 5 days,It's not as discribes the service there is bad the staff are not trained not professional at all except if you plan to eat on there restaurant every day,you need to ask for every single thing (wifi password,towels,bed sheets,toilet paper...ex) and you are lucky if you get it the same day ,the air conditioner is for 5pounds a day, toilet and balcony are dirty,rooms almost ampty nothing on the walls except the tv no rug on floor or coffee table ,dirty couches,kitchen with almost nothing to cook with,even no cups for coffee,the pool is too deep,sleepy around my daughter felt once,they dont smile or help on any way,you feel like you r staying there for charity. We travel to different places every year we never see a 3stars hotel like that,with the current management team they won't go far on the business.we looked around and we found better for better price and services next year we would go somewhere else.this hotel should be closed or inspected it deserves only one star or less.
