- isoymerization (10/5): Enjoy GAIA - This was my first time staying here after visiting Jogja many times. I had passed by this hotel a few times and grew curious because of its unique exterior. I finally decided to stay here the day before Eid recently. Upon arrival, the hotel was already crowded, and I was quite surprised by the small parking area in front. However, we were greeted by the staff who offered valet parking, and it turned out the hotel has a much larger parking lot located 50 meters before the property. During check-in, we were assisted by friendly and responsive staff, so we didn't have to wait long to get our room. The waiting lounge has a cool, cozy atmosphere and is very comfortable to sit in. The room itself is quite aesthetic, though as a suggestion, it would be great if they could add a mini-fridge to store cold drinks. The other facilities are great, featuring both adult and kids' swimming pools, a lush and green surrounding atmosphere, and a good variety of breakfast options. Definitely worth the price paid

The highlight of my experience was definitely the bed, it was extremely comfortable and made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I also really liked the amenities provided in the room. Everything was well prepared and thoughtful, which added to the overall comfort of my stay. The room itself was clean and nicely maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing. It’s a great option if you’re looking for comfort and good value. I would happily stay here again in the future.

Room display exactly liked they advertise. Variety breakfast menus, include jamu. Easy access to every part of the city. Last but not the least, I loved the sheets and blanket! Because it was so smooth and made me curious about the brand. I will back for sure.

On my arrival, I showed the chat in my mobile phone. They gave me choices: waiting for 20 minutes to get room as I ordered before, or entering the available room. I chose the latter, because I need time to take a rest a few hours before gym in the evening. I stayed in room 703, thanks for that. It was wonderful, and I had a very good sleep. Breakfast is okay, potato with omelet and roasted eggs. Thanks And I'll come back again.

- Remco (10/5): Good hotel - Great hotel with friendly staff. Large room with good air conditioning. Breakfast wasn't anything special, but it was fine. We had several insects in our room. Some are less serious, like salamanders, but also cockroaches, which is a bit of a relief. The location is also a bit out of the way, so there aren't really any warungs nearby.

The bed is incredibly comfortable, everything is clean, and the overall experience is consistently pleasant. Until today, Gaia remains my top choice whenever I stay in Yogyakarta. I truly hope the quality of service continues to stay strong. Breakfast is still good, but perhaps it’s time to introduce more variety. My first stay at Gaia was in 2022, and I’ve noticed the breakfast offerings haven’t changed much since then — it’s mostly the same food. That said, I still really enjoy the Jamu area, which remains a highlight of the experience. Despite the repetition, the breakfast overall is satisfying.

Il wc e la doccia erano separati dal lavandino che non ha muri che lo separino dal letto.

- DAVID (10/5): OPCIÓN DE CALIDAD-PRECIO IMBATIBLE PARA ESTAR EN YOGYAKARTA - La verdad es que se trata de un hotel muy bueno. Es moderno y está cuidado. La habitación es muy práctica con un buen baño y ducha. El desayuno es variado y bien (mejorable la bollería), con huevos y tortillas que te hacen al momento. Está bien ubicado a unos 15 mins en grab de Malioboro o de Prawirotaman. También muy bien para el resto de atracciones de Yogja y para ir a los templos (al final para todo necesitas grab...). Si no puedes desayunar por el horario (nosotros el último día salimos a las 06:00 al aeropuerto), te ponen el desayuno para llevar si se lo pides. Si volvemos será nuestra 1ª opción. Como mejoras, la principal diría que sería un frigorífico en la habitación. Te reponen agua todos los días pero falta poder enfriarlo dado el calor que hace en Indonesia. Y algunos detalles a tener en cuenta (no son defectos sino aspectos que cada uno debe valorar): el agua de la piscina estaba muy fría. No le pega el sol casi nada durante el día (esta en el piso inferior) y supongo que será por eso. Y los pasillos de acceso a las habitaciones están abiertos a la calle... eso hace que sea un poco ruidoso. No en exceso (la zona es muy tranquila apartada del centro), pero si puede llegar a molestar si eres muy sensible al ruido al dormir (tened en cuenta que al ser un país musulmán tendréis varias llamadas al rezo y se oyen...

In più il divanetto in stanza necessitava di una pulizia profonda, era proprio sudicio. Da migliorare un po’ la selezione “occidentale” della colazione. Il caffè incluso nel buffet difficile da bere per un italiano.

The lobby is beautifull with coffee shop and workspace area. The room is nice and clean, but no mini fridge in room. Staff are friendly and kind especially to all the security guard who welcoming us with smile everytime we pass by. Breakfast resto is very compact and the variation of menu is very limited. - ShittyBipolar (10/5): Hotel for Coffee Addicts! - This is the best hotel if you are a coffee addict since they have their own roastery. The free coffee in the room is a dripbag of their own roastery, unlike common free coffee in other hotels. This hotel is also very eco-friendly as they offer free coffee in exchange for the amenities. Highly recommend!

Every staff member we interacted with was attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to help, making the whole experience feel seamless and personalized. Now let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal. Every meal we had was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavour. Whether it was breakfast, dinner, or a quick bite in between, the culinary quality really stood out. And the coffee? Next level. Rich, aromatic, and brewed to perfection on site with Inspira Roasters, definitely a highlight of our stay. The amenities are excellent with a beautiful pool, first class gym equipment and rooftop steak & grill restaurant. Gaia Cosmo is more than just a hotel; it’s an experience. If you’re planning a trip to Yogyakarta, this place is a must. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. See you soon.

Breakfast was phenomenal. Dinners were really nice. The hotel is clean and modern. I would definitely stay here again. Everything exceeded my expectations.

- jenniferkB6622RA (10/5): Great hotel - This is a very nice hotel. The service was incredible. Everyone was kind and went out of their way to help me. Beds are comfortable and shower wonderful after a long day The pool is welcoming during the heat of the day I liked the restaurant the most. Breakfast buffet had a large variety of foods. Asian, western, pastries, fruit, grilled chicken, noodles, soup and veggies. I’m gluten free intolerant and could find plenty to eat I enjoyed my stay at Gaia

- kayinfauzibpn (8/5): Bathroom & Toilet - Need to upgrade especially toilet glass door with the lighter material, on my room was very hard to slide and lock.
- ngsuian (10/5): Very nice and clean hotel to stay with friendly staff and good food - Good and quite location, not too far away from the city. Staff were all friendly and helpfull, Good variety of breakfast and dine in food, Room was big, very clean and comfortable. Toilet and bathroom were also clean.
- Odyssey59725822876 (8/5): good hotel - the hotel provides very good coffee and the room is also convenience. during peak seasons, the restaurant seems a bit crowded, but overall the hotel is quite good and closed to the center of Jogja (Malioboro).
- maria carmen (7/5): yogjakarta amazing place - la camera anche se non aveva frigo ( in una premium boh ) la comodita del letto credo che trovare il bar appena entri e non la lobby non e molto carino . inoltre credo che il hotel dovrebbe dedicare un spazio più grande e non dispersivo come ha dedicato alla colazione . ci sono tante persone e poco spazio e molto dispersivo . sarebbe un idea positiva farlo all'ultimo piano .

- Amanda (10/5): - Located a 20mins (min) drive from the main shopping area and attractions. Very clean and comfortable for a family of 4. Reception staff very helpful. Restaurant wait staff very slow and don't clear tables

Tot i ser buffet no inclou totes les opcions de cafè i per un simple cafè amb llet cal pagar extra (a molts altres hotels del país malauradament és així) Per nosaltres que no estem acostumats el so de la mesquita pot ser una mica molest.

- Garuda60 (9/5): Fijn hotel prima prijs. - Modern ogend hotel, zeer vriendelijke staff en mooie ruime kamer. Locatie is prima omdat het een beetje tussen allerlei in ligt. Hotel is veilig en schoon en wordt goed gemanaged. Prettig verblijf gehad voor 7 dagen. Ontbijtbuffet ruimte is met veel gasten wat krap. Voor cappuccino moest extra betaald worden en dat is bij de meeste 4* hotels niet nodig.

- LB (9/5): - Everyone there was so accommodating and wonderful . The room was large and clean Bed was very comfortable . Great AC and shower has great pressure and hot water. Pool was very nice. Breakfast is super crowded
- Sylvania (8/5): Lovelly stay during end of year - Breakfast was delicious esp. Variety of nasi goreng, as well as sausages. Asin offer has indomie corner which ia very relevant and very popular though locals have it everyday at their home..this is smart. Ordered bakmi godog from restaurant (24h) and it was giod as well. Happy tummy! Hospitality from staff! Facilities and room is very comfortable. Full amenities. Bit smelly in the bathroom, the shower in the bathtub was not perfect for shower, very low watet pressure. One of the sink was clog lightly and you can see that the room need some.improvement (getting worn in timr, bathroom wood sliding door couldnt close properly, door to the main bedroom couldnt close properly as well). Parking lot limited, but there is valey available.
