- _B7891NA (10/5): Good cousine and nice family restaurant - Very nice restaurant in the old romantic house (built in 1523!!). Prices are not expencive and you can take free salat Very comfortable place with very riendly personnel and good (but not expencive!) cousine And I recommend shnitzel and dunkelbeer and potato croquettes
- Verified traveler (6/5): Zimmer gut, jedoch laute Betten - Das Hotel und Zimmer allgemein gut. Gute Lage, freundliches Personal. Guter Service. Leider hatten wir sehr laute Betten, die bei der kleinsten Bewegung laut geknarrt haben. Daher war ein Durchschlafen nicht möglich. Ab 6.30h dann Glockenschläge von der benachbarten Kirche. Von daher bin ich nicht sicher, ob ich nochmal dort übernachten würde. Sonst alles gut - Preis/Leistung.
- Moirazee2014 (8/5): Trip Down Memory Lane - I don't know why so many bad reviews. We stayed here for 2 nights, because it was our honeymoon hotel 43 years ago and were passing through the town once again. We had great, friendly service and a very clean, comfortable room overlooking the market square, with en suite, Huge flatscreen TV, free wifi and a very good continental buffet breakfast for £55 per night, with no extra charge for our little dog. You can't beat that for value and we will certainly go back.

Frühstück sehr einfach aber ok, Zimmer z.t defekt: klemmende tür, tropfende rostige ich wasserhähne, abblätternde farbe, hellhörige nach draußen, vorhänge zu lichtdurchlässig, Matratzen fraglixh sauber und ungleich hoch im Doppelbett.

- DouglasR717 (4/5): Great location, dirty room, bad breakfast - The hotel couldn't be better situated. Right on the Market square of Calw which is a beautiful town. We woke in the morning and the Market had arrived whilst we slept. We were also glad to discover that the town clock tower doesn't sound throughout the night However the room was not clean, the bed was threadbare, and the bathroom smelt. We barely ate the breakfast in the morning (the juice had several flies in it)
- KMCanberra (8/5): Stay right in the lovely market square of Calw - From the outside this looked an authentic half-timbered ‘Fachwerk’ building but the inside was very 1960s unfortunately! Nevertheless, the rooms were quite well-appointed and had lovely views back onto the main square of the town. Our front room was large and very cheap at only 70 euros for the double. The hotel is run by a cheerful Greek-German family. Calw is a lovely village built on the side of a hill and a good place from which to explore the northern Black Forest.
