- Élise (7/5): Excellent bed, but could do with better breakfast - The house is absolutely stunning. The staff and the owners are lovely. The room was comfortable and clean. We had dinner at the restaurant and can’t recommend it enough. Everything was delicious. The air conditioning was really loud ( it was a really hot day). We were disappointed by the breakfast part of this Bed and Breakfast. We got a cooler with fruit, pastries, cheddar wrapped in plastic, cookies, orange juice and a small bottle of sparkling wine. I thought the cooler delivered to your door was a Covid measure and didn’t realize breakfast was still done that way. I was expecting a small buffet.

- Loncar (10/5): Spectacular cannot say enough good things! - My partner, sister and I recently stayed at the Woodview Inn. My sister was headed to her Queen's Homecoming weekend and we were off to Kemptville so we decided to carve out some time to visit with each other. I chose the Woodview because the reviews were good and online pictures "looked Nice". WOW what an understatement!!!! This place is just so good. One of the nicest Inns I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Everything at The Woodview is so carefully curated with many private touches including many treasures from lifes travels. Lovely omage to their families are displayed throughout the house. The owners and hosts, John and Steven just cannot do enough for their guests and are so sweet and kind. After we checked in we decided to eat in their quaint onsite dining room - let me tell you the meal was superb! Loved every bite. There is a well appointed Coffee and Tea station for the morning. Additionally a really great continental Breakfast is delivered to your room in very cute and functional little coolers. Breakfast included a wide range of foods and a cheeky bottle of Prosecco to start your day! John and Steven's extensive career experiences in hospitality and interior design are beautifully reflected both in their impeccable attention to detail as well as their dedication to the comfort of their guests. If you fancy an invigorating get-away at a beautifully appointed Inn, hosted by two kind and charming hosts, you will want to book the Woodview!!! I hated to leave!

Le petit déjeuner est servis dans une petite glacière devant la porte de la chambre. Original mais complet.Il peut-être également déguster dans la salle du manoir.

- Stuart (8/5): A delightful short stay in a well-tended and lovingly restored Victorian home. - We liked the convenience of a garden-view room with easy access from our vehicle and no stairs to navigate. The restaurant in the Woodview Inn was superb, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal. The garden-view rooms had thin walls, so could be noisy. Otherwise, there was little not to like about the property.

- RUTH (10/5): - The breakfast was served to our toom in a chill box. FANTASTIC!! I didn't have to negotiate other tourists sticking their, probably unwashed hands into a buffet breakfast. It was filled with prosecco, juices, fruits, breads, cheese, cereal bars. PERFECT. A new concept for us but one we definitely prefer. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

They provide a small basket in the morning with some food and beverages to each room. We liked that! Room size is a bit small (especially the bathroom). Where you park cars, we found some kind of huge fruits/nuts were falling off the trees - we preemptively moved our car to a safer parking spot in the parking.

- Catherine (8/5): - Great location. Walking distance to harbour for Thousand Islands cruise and restaurants. Able to use the courtyard for breakfast and in the evening as the restaurant wasn’t open that night. We were in a Garden Room which was a little small although it was beautifully finished.
- Kevin (9/5): Great traditional inn experience - Beautiful classic building with a relaxing atmosphere. The bed is incredibly comfortable. Staff were very nice and helpful. Ample parking and walking distance to the harbour and downtown shops. Next time we will stay 2 nights. Can't think of anything. As others said, you don't get a traditional breakfast, but we knew that going in and aren't big breakfast people so not a minus for us.

My friend Bonnie and I loved our stay at the Woodview Inn! If I could make a suggestion it would be to have 2 chairs in the double room. We were there during a heat wave and one of us had to lie down to enjoy a drink in our otherwise lovely and cool room.

- Brandon (10/5): Don't hesitate. Book now. - This was a super cute little Inn with a lot of little personal touches which were a nice change from your typical big hotel chain. The owners were nice and knowledgeable. The restaurant on site was top notch and well worth the money. The breakfast that was dropped off each morning was perfect. I highly recommend the Woodview Inn. There is nothing that I did not like. We loved it all. If I had to make a suggestion to improve things, I would love to see that dogs are welcome (beyond service animals). It would be great to be able to return with my puppy.

Unfortunately their highly rated restaurant was closed on the days (Monday and Tuesday) during our stay. The morning breakfast was nice, but Woodview should offer a hot breakfast, not just for the food, but to give guest an opportunity to talk with each other.

Stayed up on the third floor in the suite so comfortable and quiet. The breakfast delivered to outside my door was amazing Proseco and OJ! Not to mention the other goodies. Had dinner at Graydon (sorry for spelling). Again amazing. Had the grilled Pickering. All staff friendly including housekeeping and owners. Will definitely be going back Absolutely nothing

Owner hat sich unglaublich bemüht, da die A/C nicht optimal lief und brachte uns einen Ventilator. Frühstücksbox gute Idee! Wir fragten nach einem Laundry Service und unsere Wäsche wurde gewaschen, vielen Dank! Haben die Unterkunft an Freunde in Toronto weiterempfohlen. Unser Zimmer war etwas klein, aber liebevoll eingerichtet.

- Kara (9/5): Perfect for a romantic getaway! - The location was great! Walking distance to the town centre, but not so close that it felt busy. Nice residential area. The breakfast was so kind! Cheese, scone, muffin, granola bars, orange juice, prosecco, plum, orange, apples. Lovely building, great atmosphere, kind and welcoming staff and owners. A bit more expensive than our usual accommodations budget, but a nice treat for our anniversary. Worth it for one night for sure!

- Melodie (10/5): Unexpected place! - Unfortunately we spent only one night and we couldn’t try the restaurant but I hope to come back again one night because it’s really a beautiful place, the location is great, close to the port for the 1000 islands tour and above all John and Steve are really kindness and they make you feel as home! The breakfast in the basket was great but in a cold season there isn’t enough place to get it in the room.

Garden Room in annex next to main house was too small, walls very thin so you could hear the guest next door, and interiors did not match up to the charm of rest of property that has period furnishings.

Petit déjeuner servi froid mais copieux. Nous le conseillons à 100% Salle de bain un peu petite pour 4 personnes. Le restaurant fermé le lundi et mardi et nous n’étions pas prévenu au préalable.

Town was a short walk, and had plenty of places to eat , although a few were shut on a Monday. Loved breakfast hamper, and could go into the restaurant or patio to eat it , and get tea or coffee.
- Colin (10/5): A very nice place to stay for our 10th anniversary. - The location was about a 10min walk from downtown and the waterfront. We walked to our boat tour and a pub for lunch with no difficulties at all. The continental breakfast is left the night before outside your door in a small cooler and includes some fruit (apples oranges bananas), some muffins, orange juice and a couple of snack bars. There is a small fridge and coffee and tea in the rooms.
