- Verified traveler (8/5): Curioso y tranquilo - Todos los trabajadores muy atentos, sobretodo un chico que nos atendió en el bar, comedor y recepción, la cena estuvo muy buena; estaba todo muy limpio y se está muy tranquilo. El problema principal fue el calor insoportable durante la noche que no nos dejó dormir, aunque tuvimos encendido un pequeño ventilador no pegamos ojo. Si va alguien grande, el tamaño del aseo es pequeño y tener que pasar por encima de la pareja para levantarse de la cama tampoco es cómodo.

Probably not suitable for the infirm or the very young because of the steep and twisting stairs up to the mezzanine bed platform. Breakfast is good, dinner not bad. You will remember this place fondly.

- Michael (2/5): - Review’s said rooms were small, they were tiny. The paintwork in the bathroom was very amateur, no shower curtain so bathroom was soaked. Duvets had no cover, bedroom had not seen a duster for a long time. A very disappointing hotel, certainly not one I would visit again.

- AGUSTIN (2/5): No volveríamos. No es de recibo el Dúplex. - Es una pena y me disgusta hablar mal de un sitio, pero lo del Dúplex no tiene disculpa. En realidad es una mini habitación con un altillo donde la cama arriba solo la pudimos utilizar uno porque si el otro, que estaba al lado de la pared, quería bajar al baño, tenía que hacerlo por encima de la otra persona. La escalera complicada y peligrosa, y el baño tan pequeño que no podíamos ni movernos, y eso que no medimos más de 1,70. El personal amable y el sitio bonito pero la habitación es deplorable y me molesta que no te avisen de como es.

- Adrian (8/5): Unusual place to stay - A querky place to stay. This is an old monastery and the interior is in keeping with that so don't expect a huge room. Our room was very compact as was the shower but was clean and perfectly adequate for an overnight stop. The breakfast and evening meal were both excellent being typical Spanish cuisine. Would definitely stop again. Took a bit of finding. The hotel is on the far side of the monastery as you go out of town.
- christi (4/5): Room the size of a doll house - We booked a larger room but ended up in a room the size of a closet with the beds on the floor. I think the ceiling height was about 7' so the whole room felt very claustrophobic. Even thought this is a historic Monetary it is not possible to call these rooms a "hotel rooms".

La Posada tiene un patio interior de césped, con mesas y sillas cómodas que invitan a la lectura al aire libre y la tertulia con una cervecita.

- Mariano (6/5): Inmersión en el S XI - EL hotel, antiguo monasterio, y el entorno precioso. Las habitaciones muy incómodas y pequeñas. El restaurante una carta corta y la frase que más le oímos al camarero, "Ya no nos queda". La atención del personal buena, gente amable y simpática.

- Carlos Angel (6/5): Calidad - precio solo aceptable en un monasterio - En lo positivo la atención del personal, extremadamente agradable, y la idea de usar monumentos históricos como alojamientos que ayudan a su conservación. Sin embargo, las habitaciones duplex son muy incomodas, con baños diminutos y escaleras estrechas para subir a donde están las camas que hacen imposible su uso para una persona con escasa movilidad. No obstante, puede ilusionar dormir allí y se aprecia el silencio, aunque el precio al que se ofrecen normalmente las habitaciones (yo tuve una buena tarifa) es muy elevado teniendo en cuenta las prestaciones. Me parece fuera de mercado.

Javier (4/5): Desencantado - Todo correcto salvo las habitaciones, minúsculas, con las camas situadas en ángulo en un altillo encima del microscópico baño, a las que se accede por un tramo curvo de escalera de ocho peldaños en su mayor parte triangulares y muy estrechos. Esas habitaciones no concuerdan con la categoría de la posada, y sobre todo, con su precio.
- Jesús (2/5): Entorno exquisito, habitación mala. - Nunca en la habitación 21, ruidos y vibraciones cada 35-55 minutos, tuvimos que usar linterna para leer por la noche, tulipa de la lámpara de noche sujeta con celofán, no hay frigorífico, ventana tapada por el armario, media bañera, oiamos a los vecinos de la habitación 20, la wifii llegaba en el limite y se desconectaba, cama de 135cm justita... Lo mejor, la pradera de la terraza y el salón de lectura que si estaba muy bien decorado..
- Crackle (10/5): Stylishly modernised hotel in former monastery - Take a lovely stone building, stylishly modernise into comfortable rooms and suites, and populate the hotel with friendly staff. That's apparently the formula used here and I enjoyed my stay tremendously.
- Valerie (8/5): A huge warm welcome. - Arrived after a long 22hrs ferry trip. Chose this place as a stopover on route to Portugal. Perfect location one hour from Santender. Couldn’t believe this was the hotel when presented with medieval courtyard. Great hospitality, warm, friendly & nothing too much trouble. Adapted the menu for me as a vegetarian. Unusual room design climbing stairs to beds in mezzanine so need to be fit’ish. Would visit again.
- Neil (10/5): A quiet off-the-beaten-track hotel - A beautiful old building nicely adapted and well run. Located in a quiet spot and with access to the village and a good river walk to a nearby dam. Food was excellent and the service attentive and pleasant.
