- John (6/5): - There was no office to check into. Had to go to office of the next motel owned by same company to get blankets. The desk chair in room was well worn. The sitting chair had vinyl peeling in one area of the arm. The towel rack in the bathroom fell when my wife tried to use it. There didn’t seem to have enough help.
- Amanda (1/5): I would not stay here, regardless of how cost effective it may be - This property has gone down hill significantly. Trash everywhere, rooms were filthy and there were bed bugs. When contacting staff, Tabitha continued to deny and state o brought the bed bugs in, which was certainly not the case. In 1 night, my daughter was so bit up that we had to go to the urgent care for steroid treatment.

- Dee Jay (6/5): - When we pulled up to our room there was a guest working on his car in front of our room with fluid spilled on the ground. Guests next door were right outside of room smoking heavily. Manager was responsive to communications. Access to motel was quite inconvenient - needed to drive at least a quarter mile to be able to make a u turn on a busy highway.
- Morgan (4/5): - Water flies were coming out of the drain of my sink and the overflow hole. To the point where I had to stuff the drain with toilet paper so flies weren’t coming into my room. It smell like complete smoke even though it’s supposed to be non-smoking it was so beyond dirty, I didn’t even use the shower there.
- Gerrit (4/5): - We wanted a lower level because we both have knee issues. we had to TEXT not talk to someone and was informed it wasn't possible. The TV didn't work we had to text again. We had to wait a long time for a response for both. Phone number outside in front was discontinued. We could get any ice. No office or person to talk to making it not inviting at all.
- Rebecca (10/5): Quite nice! - Spacious room! Seems like it was converted from an apartment unit -- so less uniform, but cozy and comfortable with big beds and tons of seating. Check-in was easy (via keypad) and the hotel sent many messages prior with check-in instructions & local info, which was a nice touch. The rooms were quiet -- we slept so well, we overslept! The actual communication though was a bit clunky and can use some refining -- some of the messages & texts seem to not go through, and their office seems to be renovating? It was not easy to reach someone, especially in the chaos of traveling. However, when I did speak to a service rep (at their sister hotel), they were absolutely lovely and efficient. A pleasant and unique stay!

Received text saying cleaners had gone home at 2:30, would deliver the next day at 10:30. I asked again, with no reply, offered to go to office. Still no reply, so walked to office-but there wasn't one! Finally, someone delivered linens. In the morning, found one cup and condiments for only one cup of coffee. Based on this, along with lack of things to do, we notified management that we wouldn't be staying the second night as planned. We were told there is a 24 hour cancellation policy and we would be charged anyway. They also request that you move your trash outside the door before you leave.

Room and bathroom were plenty spacious for one person, especially for the price. The steps going up to the 2nd level were a little narrow and the rails were rusty here and there. Only one small garbage can. Only 2 flimsy, but clean, pillows.

No spare pillows nor blankets. Smell of pot and cigarette prévenant in the air- may have been from neighbor. Broken and missing floor tiles in bathroom. Hair dryer did not work-the receptacle in bathroom also did not work. Were assigned 2nd level room but stairs were rotting and rusting. Barely safe I M O. Only communication was by text and email. Sent text with complaints at 6pm. Got reply at 4am the next morning. Will never go back. Do not recommend.

- Cindy (4/5): Not worth what we paid. Filthy carpets and floors. - The location was great. Close to everything. The Brentwood used to be cared for, clean and the staff was friendly. Now there is no staff, you use a code to get in and from there you are on your own. The stairs are not safe, they're rusty and looks like they'll fall any minute. As it is the stairs slant down a bit and I found it really unsafe to lug suitcases up and down. The carpets on the outside of the rooms are gross and all stretched out, another hazard. The carpet in the room was in desperate need of cleaning and the bathroom floor and cabinet were also filthy. The bed had fresh linens but there were long black hairs all over one of them. Certainly not worth what we paid.

Steps to second level are unsafe, there was person spending the night in her car in the parking lot and there were dirty towels left from a prior guest on the bathroom door. Grounds were over grown and outside was a mess. I had no idea how to reach management for concerns and to report the person using the parking lot. I think the price was high for the property condition and the worn interior.

Dirty & worn outside walkways, peeling paint etc. For what rooms are going for, tgey should be able to work on that. Had trouble with numeric door key not working, but found a helpful housekeeper who got the help needed. Strongest rating goes to housekeeping

Refridgerator and micro had to be from the 80's. Only one of the two light bulbs in bathroom worked and the shower head was so low i had to tilt it all the way up and we arent very tall ourselves. Also it appeared there are a few permanent residents who made the area look pretty trashy. Definitely will not return.

Keypad entry with easy to remember instructions and access was great. Something I had never experienced before. For a one night stay it was perfect for me.

Negatives: No ice/vending machines in sight. No facial tissues. Cheapest toilet paper on the planet. Room smelled like smoke. Shower did not drain. Pillows were flat and not comfy. Room decor was last updated in about 1977.
- Heather (2/5): Not clean and inoperable bathrooms - Location was good and near everything. Close to the store and Restraunts. Cleanliness was non existent. We went to the store and bought cleaner to be able to wipe surfaces and spray something for the awful smell in the room. Our room had an inoperable shower drain and would not drain the water that ran so you could not shower. Bathroom had brown drips on the wall that came off with wiping. The chairs in the room had dirt piled on them so we had to clean that off. The pillow cases that were white had brown spots on them. There was trash throughout the property. A bike, random shoes, cans, bottles, cigarette and joint butts, and dog poop through the lawn. Staff responded when messaged, but never actually seen a staff member. We were set to stay 4 nights and 5 days and left the very next morning.

Other than that, the otherwise “easy” check-in and out process was made difficult for us, as our code for the door did not work. However the staff was fast getting back to us! Boogers and other bodily fluids on the wall next to the bed, not nice.

- Lilla (5/5): We will not be back. - This was our first time dealing with a contactless stay. You saw no one checking in, just received codes by text and email and lots of information on how to get into the room, so worked out OK. There was a phone number provided if you had to talk to someone. The bed was clean and comfortable . There was no breakfast included. We did not like the room. When we arrived, you could tell people lived long term in some of the rooms at this facility. They changed our room the day before we arrived without telling us the reason - the explanation was someone wanted to stay an extra night. We were on the second floor and the railing on the stairs was rusting ,loose and falling apart. The carpet outside the rooms was awful, the rooms were very dated, needed paint, etc.and the carpet on the floor inside I don’t think was clean. There was not enough lighting in the room. The bathroom was not clean, especially the tub. Bed was ok, thankfully. We had to gather and leave our garbage outside the room for the “safety” of the cleaners. I question the cleanliness of the rooms. This was one of the less expensive places we looked at when deciding where to stay and I guess you get what you pay for.

- Lynda (4/5): - I liked the price. Place is run down sheets had ink stains chair cushion under had stains and crumbs. Very noise next to highway. Had to call my code didnt work when I arrived
- Lisa (5/5): Not Worth The Money - It was located in a decent area. Restaurants & grocery store close by. It was very run down. The furnishings looked like someone went to a garage sale & purchased the furniture. The bedding was clean & fresh looking, but the carpet was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom was very outdated & the towels provided were low quality.

- Marian (4/5): - We ended up only staying one night as we did not like the area. The back of the property seemed like weekly rentals. The yards needed lots of attention not to mention mowing and weed killing and bushes pruning. We could only find a manager three hotels away that directed us to the unmarked building. The flooring in the kitchenette was poorly laid and splitting at the seams. The only good thing was the bed and bathroom felt clean enough for the night.
- Glenna (6/5): - Roadside motel in much need of a major renovation. Grounds were overgrown and lacking landscaping of any kind. Our door had a gap of an inch above the threshold, not sure how energy efficient that could be. Very outdated structure. It was CLEAN though and everything workedas it should.
- Kris (8/5): Don’t think we will be back. - The room was nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Outside was very littered with cigarette and joint butts, grass uncut, brown leaves thick under the outside stairs.

- Christopher (6/5): Your getting what you pay for here. - This hotel is past it's prime as the rooms are quite run down, especially the carpet which was disgusting. The only real positives of the hotel was easy check in and the beds were at least clean. Also didn't feel particularly safe there, especially at night.

- Alexander (8/5): Passing through Marquette - We had everything we needed, didn't meet a single staff member but the communication was excellent through texts. It's a few minutes drive from downtown right next to the main road. We had a suite with a kitchen which worked well for us. Upon entering the room was smelly but after keeping all doors and windows open for about an hour it was ok.
