Guest Reviews
- Kristy (10/5): -
- Catherine (10/5): Excellent cabin, clean, comfortable and quiet! - Very clean and comfortable! N/A
- Grant (10/5): Great stay couldnt ask for much more! - Privacy and scenery
- Patrick (10/5): Wonderful, definitely will be back - No breakfast at location There could be little ice trays in the freezer for my ice coffee
- JUNE (10/5): - Had a beautiful dock to sit on and enjoy the lake
- James (10/5): - The cleanest place I’ve stayed.
- Aurora (8/5): A relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle, with close restaurants and a good walk to the water. - It had a wonderful view, good layout, and it was a cozy cabin. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like per se, but we do plan on picking one with a kitchenette that has a stove for our length of stay in the future.
- Thorel (10/5): Wonderful! - Location, view and cleanliness, you felt at home. Sunsets were amazing, would go back actually a coworker is going ! The steep hill to get down to the lake, but they have a path or you can drive down. It is so worth it, the deck/dock area is beautiful.
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Hanna (10/5): A perfect place for people with non-motorized boats - I think you should highlight that more on the - I appreciated how well appointed the kitchen was. The weird coffee table thing took up a lot of room and wasn’t that helpful for dining.
- Michelle (9/5): Overall it was wonderful, peaceful & relaxing stay. - Quiet, quaint & cute cabin Strange placement of AC & Heating unit only in bedroom. Living area was too warm & bedroom was too cold. But needed AC on due to the extreme heat outside. You MUST KEEP THE BEDROOM DOOR OPEN to get AC or heat. I’m concerned if I come back in the Fall, it would be too cold in the living room area & too hot in the bedroom.

- Stephanie (10/5): Great cabin, super clean and comfortable. - Everything!! Super clean cabin and friendly staff. Everything was great

- Roman (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Single Island Shores. The cottage was nice and warm, comfortable, and had a great view of Seneca Lake. It’s a peaceful spot, close to Watkins Glen and several great wineries. Highly recommend for a quiet weekend getaway.
- Terri (9/5): - How close it was to the lake and the wineries Nothing
- Dana (10/5): Beautiful , Peaceful - This place is onr e of the best we have ever been to. Peaceful and quiet on the lake shore, Cabin was spacious with a nice porch to relax. Fire pit was a splendid idea for an evevning activity - you can buy mores kit at the reception and enjoy roasting it. Privecy to every cabin, The whole place is very well maintaind and taken care of,
- Leisa (10/5): Cozy cabin and fire pits to enjoy watching the sunset on the lake. - My husband and I stayed one night while celebrating my birthday at the wineries. The cabin was clean and new. Was very cozy and comfortable. The cabins are small and there's no sink in the kitchen, so you have to rinse mugs and small dishes in the bathroom sink, and the shower is very small and a bit clumsy to maneuver around in. However the cabins are new and really nice and very clean and comfy. Great views of the lake. Our host Ashley set us up in a great location with a fantastic view of the lake. She was very friendly, helpful, and communicative. Each cabin has their own firepit. We enjoyed a nice warm, cozy fire, watching the sun set on the lake while sipping a nice bottle from one of the wineries. Great experience! Highly recommend. The cabin needs a small sink in the kitchen area to rinse cups, dishes, etc. There is room to put a small one. Otherwise, you have to rinse your dishes in the bathroom sink.
- Allison (10/5): Our stay was excellent; we will return! - Beautiful lake front property 9 miles from Watkins Glen State Park; 1/2 mile from wineries and a produce stand.
Private cabins are well taken care of
Plenty of fire pits to use
- Margaret (10/5): - What a wonderful spot—and don’t forget to walk down to the dock to watch the sunset! Here’s the view from our cabin.
- Richard (8/5): We enjoyed our stay and the, cabin which was clean and a good, size. - Great location.Great view.Fire pits Nice cabin. Not a,big deal, but we purchased a bundle of fire wood which was delivered right to our room, but unfortunately we weren't thinking and had no fire starter or matches .I wish it was provided.Just a heads up to bring some paper, matches and maybe a hatchet for kindling.
- Bobbi (10/5): - If you are visiting the Finger Lakes, we highly recommend this place. Perfect location, clean and comfortable. We stayed an extra night because we loved it so much.
- Yaki (10/5): - We liked the location near the lake and the private access to it. Also, the cottage was very clean and convenient,
- Kendra (8/5): Overall nice stay - Cute little modern cabin with a nice lake view.
Nice shared dock space on the lake, and wooded path to walk down there.
- Keena (10/5): Perfect getaway! - Beautiful cabin with an amazing view. Spotlessly clean, and a very comfortable bed. It was so peaceful in the evenings and a wonderful two night stay.
- Emily (10/5): - Place was amazing. They made it so easy to check in and out, employees were kind, and they provided us with the “bible” that gave us some places to visit. Would definitely visit again. The only small complaint was the pillows were slightly uncomfortable, but nothing that would stop us from visiting or recommending to a friend.
- Douglas (8/5): An attractive property and location. - Nice size well designed cabin with beautiful view of Seneca lake. Noisy squeaky bed, inability to stream television programs.
- JOHN (10/5): - Very rustic feel, yet looks new. Fantastic location, had everything we were looking for.
- Kathleen (10/5): - Second time here will come back again great view, fishing dock, patio on the lake walking distance to hazlet wineries play grounds for kids great place. Fire pit and porch on your cabin.
- Bhupinder (10/5): - We had an amazing stay. Close to everything we wanted to do. Beautiful place on the lake.
- James (9/5): It was a great getaway to visit the local vineyards and see some of the wonderful waterfalls and the Watkins Glen gorge. - It was clean and quiet. The walk to the lake from the top of the steep hill was not easy. Obviously going downhill was not bad but going back up was very vigorous.
- monica (10/5): - Stayed for two nights. The cabin was very clean and built with quality. The bed was very comfortable. My family had dinner down by the lake on patio furniture and got to watch a beautiful sunset. All the cabins were full all around us, but no noise issues and the people wee very friendly.
- Uri (9/5): -
- DONGKOOK (10/5): -
- Hsiang Ju (4/5): - The air conditioner is too noisy.
- Heather (10/5): - A great place to stay and do a bit of hugh class glamping.
The beds felt smaller than a true queen, but longer than a true double.
The bathroom was small, but the towels were fluffy
- THOMAS (7/5): It was OK, but I think far too expensive for what it was. - Very clean and modern facility. Nice infrastructure, especially the dock. There was no daily maid service.
- Paul (10/5): Great, friendly spot with nice views. - I was here for a racing weekend at Watkins Glen and this was a great place to stay with my son. The cabin was modern (for a cabin) and was immaculate. Ashley, the property manager was friendly and helpful, both over the phone and in person. The property and facilities were very well maintained and roads/paths were smooth. After a day at the track it was great to relax, build a fire, and watch the sunset over Seneca Lake. Highly recommended. Minor (or major if you have a lot of hair) quibble - water pressure was not high enough for the rainshower type showerhead. Smaller more efficient showerhead is a must. Washcloths (but not the towels) were rough and cheap. Tore one wringing it out - I'm no superman. Otherwise nearly perfect.
- mark (8/5): nice location & area -
- Frederick (10/5): - Friendly and beautiful surroundings
- Junghyun (10/5): - Beautiful scenery, quiet and well-maintained property, and kind staff — we’ll definitely be coming back!
Highly highly recommend this place!!!
- Patricia (10/5): Comfort and convenience - Lots of wineries and breweries just a few minutes away. Short drive to Watkins Glen State Park
- Bobby Jo (10/5): - Great place to stay, we will be going back!!!
- Sara (10/5): - My husband and I had a wonderful time at single Island Shores. It was very close to several wineries and places to eat. The cabin was lovely and very clean. We were very happy and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you, Ashley!
- Katharine (10/5): - Booked for a relaxing long weekend away and the location was perfect. The cabin was clean with a lovely view of the lake. Very close to many wineries if that's what you're after but there are plenty of options if that's not what youre looking for. Would 100% stay again!
- Brittany (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kurtis (8/5): Very good -
- Noah (10/5): - Impeccably kept property!
- Cynthia (10/5): Enjoy lake life--But be close to everything too! - We only had a couple of days and stayed in a small cabin, but with more time, I would definitely return to this property. The cabins were cozy and clean; the view was gorgeous. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake while still being in close driving distance to bigger attractions.
- Sharmala (10/5): - Single Island Shores, never disappoints. The glamping cabins are beautiful—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each cabin has a firepit and gorgeous views of the lake, making it the perfect setting to unwind. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, ideal for soaking in nature, listening to the sounds of the woods, and stargazing at night. We can’t wait to come back again!
- Tx (9/5): Tranquility - The location! Stroll down to the communal area by the water. Enjoy the tranquility and wildlife. Great hospitality. Fresh and new feel to the cabin. The cabin was small, and the sofa-sleeper was a bit uncomfortable. The AC was placed in the bedroom, attempting to cool down the whole cabin. But this is greatly overshadowed by all the positives!
- Katarina (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): - Cabins are very comfortable and conveniently located.
- Susan (10/5): - A peaceful comfortable retreat
- Eileen (10/5): Wonderful - Beautiful view, very nice cabin
- Sweta (8/5): Overall great stay. We will make it our annual family tradition - Great location by the lake. Close to wineries and Watkins Glen. Very serene Poor water pressure. Very limited supply for a cottage of four
- Michael (10/5): - This place was fantastic! My only regret was not getting a cabin mid or lower level but still, the place was great.
Super clean, great location, beautiful scenery and even some small wildlife. Great escape and highly recommend.
- Audrey (10/5): Lovely location. Beautiful property along the lake. I met the owner & staff everyone very welcoming & very frie - Beautifully set up above lake. A lot of space & parking space for each cabin.
Well built & beautifully maintained. N/A everything very nice
- Melissa (10/5): Peaceful Easy Feeling - This cabin was perfect for me and my son! I accidentally booked the upper lakeside instead of the lower but it’s literally a minute down the road. Or you can walk down. The only criticism I have is the mattress on the sofa bed was awful. Other than that it was so peaceful and the location was in the middle of everything we wanted to do.
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Todd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tingwei (10/5): - Amazing cabin with absolutely gorgeous views.
- Daniel (10/5): Absolutely stunning and worth it will 100% book again. - The View Nothing, Perfect
- FNU (10/5): - It’s so peaceful and the perfect getaway from the city life. We stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing. The cabins are also very clean!
- Robert (8/5): Nice grounds, nice cabin, a few issues degraded the experience. - N/A The bed was very noisy every time we lay down on it.
The hinges on the door to the bedroom squeaked loudly.
The security light on the next row of cabins above us was much too bright. It shone in the bedroom window, preventing us from sleeping.
The fire pits were a major problem for us. The people staying up the hill lit their's, and thick wood smoke drifted down the hill and into our windows, giving us headaches and bothering our lungs. We had to close all of the windows, even though it was warm outside.
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (10/5): Great cabins with even better views…. - Everything from the cleanliness of the cabin to the shared lake dock. We would def stay again. Nothing…
- linda (10/5): - Lovely small cabin in perfect location on Seneca Lake.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (10/5): - We loved the 4 bedroom cabin with a view of the lake. Perfectly set up for a wonderful graduation weekend. The owner was so helpful. Don't hesitate to book!
- Jason (10/5): - Awesome, clean and right where we wanted to be.
- Cac (10/5): Amazing stay - This place is perfect. We loved that we had our space to ourselves, no worrying about who was in the room nextdoor. It was sparking clean and very comfortable. The view is amazing. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it for others. Nothing
- Hope (8/5): - Could use new mattresses but other then that it was good
- Lawrence (10/5): - clean, quiet, beautiful knotty pine interior, delightful views
- Intissar (10/5): We had an extremely enjoyable time, and plan to return with our families because it was wonderful! - N/A There wasn't anything that we didn't like!
- Sol (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and the location and view amazing
- Sharmala (10/5): - My husband and I had a wonderful 3-day spring break getaway at Single Island Shore. Although the weather was a bit on the cooler side, we truly enjoyed the warm hospitality from Ashley and her staff. The one-bedroom lake view cabin was perfect for us—cozy, clean, and serene.
My husband grilled every day, and we both appreciated the peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was nature at its best—quiet mornings, beautiful views, and total relaxation. We had a great time and are already looking forward to returning in the summer!
- Janet (10/5): Awesome Finger Lakes stay! - Awesome stay! Clean, convenient and cozy. Fully stocked coffee bar and extra toiletries and bedding. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake!
- Kathy (10/5): Exceptional - We love the area and single island shores is a fantastic location and the staff is excellent and friendly. We love single island shores!
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - the views were spectacular. the cabin was very clean and spacious
- Kathy (10/5): Exceptional - I love the location on Seneca Lake. The property is well kept, the views at sunrise and sunset are beautiful.
Ashley is so kind and makes you feel special. This was our third or fourth trip here to Single Island Shores! We love the cabins, the quietness and just being here and unplugging for a few days. We even got permission to bring our 9 month old puppy.
We felt rested and well just good when we left.
Thank you Ashley
Thank you to the work crew too.
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): - Looking forward to coming back.
- John (10/5): - The cabin was truly a luxury and truly a relaxing long weekend for us. Knowing we needed this getaway to escape stress, we are planning our next trip. Our experience the minute we checked in was beyond expectations. Ashley was amazing and recommended the best wineries and restaurants in the area. The area is absolutely beautiful.
- Doreen (9/5): It’s excellent. Loved it! - The property is located at Seneca Lake. It is an excellent place. Lake views. So quiet. Not far away from the sceneries of the state parks. A lot of wineries nearby.
- Oded (8/5): Great location, good value for money. - Great location on Seneka lake. Clean rooms. Our unit was very basic, mainly the kitchen,
I think they could add some more kitchen utilities and a barbecue to the small cabins as well.
- Donald (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dylan (10/5): Great place to stay on Seneca - Location, clean, quiet, can't wait to return! Close to the best wineries on the lake. Host was messaging mainly by phone call, I didn't have US data, I had to pay extra charges to contact them to check in.
- Linda (10/5): - This is the perfect location when visiting the finger lakes. So many wineries, distilleries, and breweries close by. The area is absolutely beautiful and the cabins really cozy.
The beds were super comfortable. I cannot wait to return. My trip was way too short.
- Cynthia (10/5): - We were able to check-in early and switch cabins. Will be going back.
- Barbara (10/5): - Just a question-wondeting how many days you stay do they do house cleaning or is that not an option there. A few extra bar soaps and shampoo would be great.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - The cabin and location was beautIful. It was relaxing and so peaceful. The host was great checking in and out was very easy. Nothing it was honestly perfect.
