Complete with toiletries, coffee and kitchen tools. Friendly staff. Only thing that they can improve is that there’s no elevator. Our unit is in the 3rd floor so we had difficulty with our luggages. Good thing that the staffs are helpful.

- Jaekun (9/5): 처음 가보게 된 게스트 하우스. - 가족 여행시 게스트 하우스란곳을 처음 이용해 보았습니다. 부킹닷컴에서 게스트 하우스를 검색했던것은 아니였지만 어쩌다 연남 블라썸이라는 곳을 알게 되어서 방문하게 되었습니다. 사장님과 사장님 어머님께서 건물을 아주 깨끗하게 운영하셨고 여러 배려와 친절함에 1박이었지만 편안하게 머물다 왔습니다. 게스트 하우스라는 곳을 처음 방문해보았지만 덕분에 아주 좋은 인상을 받고 돌아오게 된 좋은 숙소였습니다. 게스트 하우스라는 곳이 어떤곳인지 잘 몰랐던 제가 좀 아쉬웠습니다. 숙소 자체는 청결하고 잘 관리 되어있는 좋은 곳이었어요.

We all felt welcomed to stay at Blossom Yeonnam, toasted bread with butter and strawberry jam ( ready in fridge by a host of Blossom) was very satisfying for my children at early morning. I got a big compliment from my three teenagers regarding “where we are staying !” Thank you!!! We had perfect vacation at Hongdae.

The bath/rest room is quite spacious and the shampoo liquid soap and conditioner there are of acceptable quality and nice aromas.

The best part about this guesthouse is I do not see the staff but is there ready to get back to guests through messages. It is easy to do laundry on the rooftop.

It wasn’t too close but still very walkable and convenient. We arrived quite late at night, but the owner was very kind and gave us clear instructions on how to check in, which made things easy. The staff were also very responsive to all my messages and always ready to help. This guesthouse is run by a family, and that personal touch made the atmosphere warmer and more welcoming. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and definitely will come back here again next time if I go to Seoul.

The shared toilet was also very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well-equiped with utensils. There is a shared fridge with free bread and jam provided by the host. The microwave and toaster are provided. A very comfortable place to stay with 5 to 8 min walk to hongsik university station exit 3. It would be wonderful if they could have a lock for the bathroom in the shared family room.

At first, it felt a bit far from the subway, but once I got used to it, the walk was actually really easy. What I loved most was how clean the place was. If I come back to Korea, I’d totally stay here again.

- George (1/5): Booking this place was one of the worst decisions I have made during my stay in Korea - I liked the location, cleanliness of the property, free toothpaste, and a water dispenser Booking this accommodation was a huge mistake. If you are hoping to catch some sleep while staying here, forget about it. There are people running around the house and the floor, and you are at the mercy of their manners and level of respect they bring. There is zero privacy in this place. The walls are paper thin, but there is a CCTV camera pointing right at you the moment you leave your room. The staff are completely useless - you can complain about the room and instead of offering you a different room, they will give you Korean candy. There is no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, be prepared to drag those bags through a medieval style staircase. The room itself is slightly smaller than a prison cell. I am trying to find a justification for booking here, but knowing the abundance of cheap motels near Sinchon and Hongdae, i realized what a ridiculous decision was to book a stay here.

There is also another communal bathroom to use. A big plus was the washing machine, so we could wash our clothes. We stayed for 5 nights and not once was the bin emptied or new towels provided. No cleaning of the rooms. The check in process was literally just a text message with a code for the door so no info on this.

The host is really nice and replied our email fast and provided useful information. Definitely will come back again. The only thing I don't like is no private bathroom. We have to share the bathroom with 3 or 4 rooms. However, the bathroom is very very clean with all the neccessities.

The nearest train station is the Hongik University Station exit 3. Now that we stayed here twice, we realized it was quite far from the train station. It would take around 10-15 minutes walk especially if you are carrying the luggages. It would also be great if the bathroom area has heated flooring especially when the temperature drops to negative.

You have a convenience store right around the corner and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The host is one of the kindest we’ve met during our trip and super accommodating. Overall, we found the guesthouse really comfortable, clean, and it includes everything you need for however long your stay is. We loved it and highly recommend it!

- Gordon (9/5): Superb - Great location, lots of good food options just outside. Comfortable rooms, very tight but manageable if you move the furniture around and make use of the balcony space. Toilets are shared, but we hardly have to wait for our turn. Location is quite far from Hongik Uni Subway station - about 700m but it's across crowded and narrow pathways. It is very difficult when dragging large luggage bags. No lifts - have to carry luggages up to either level 2 or 3. The owner offers to help carry the luggage, but I generally prefer to do it myself.

Location is very central in Hondae district, which is a pleasant neighborhood with lots of restaurants, shops and young vibe. For visiting all tourist attractions in Seoul we recommend to stay in the more central Myeongdong district. Owner asked to write a good review before leaving in exchange for a small gift. I don’t really like these kind of requests, so didn’t accept. Still writing a good “independent” review as we liked our stay and would recommend this guesthouse in Hondae.

I like the owner who is very kind and humble, i like the room which is very clean and also the bathroom although its have to share with others. But it still clean ☺️ Nothing

Value for money for 3 people sharing, please dont increase your price. I liked that you could move freely around and have access to bathrooms,, dining area and kitchen appliances, as well as do your own washing. Felt like home away from home. Oh lastly the filter coffee, Hazelnut flavour was really good, hope they stock it till next time i visit again. In Sha Allah. Well there's not much to complain about really. Maybe just more rails in shower room to hang my clothes when I go for a shower.
- Haruka (10/5): Exceptional - The host was very nice. I had every I needed for a short stay. I have a 11month baby with me so showering was a bit difficult but most hotels seem like showers and toilets are in the same room as well as no bath tub. Will definitely book again if I have the chance to!

- Fatehi (10/5): Exceptional - The location is absolutely amazing, I admire Hongdae a lot, it’s full of life and you can enjoy the night life of seoul in this neighborhood. The room was so clean, the walls were thick, we could barely hear other rooms. The host was quite warm and nice and helped us a lot. We felt at ease in our whole stay. I would absolutely stay here if visiting Seoul again.
