Tolkien must of stayed here.
If he didn't then he missed out big time.

- Lee (10/5): Lovely stay at Upper Neatham Mill - I used to stop here around 6 years ago and knew how lovely it was but if anything it's improved since then. Nice little touches like black out blinds and a cafetiere in the room. Plus the room was absolutely spotless. Looking forward to my next visit.
- Washington (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (10/5): - I loved my stay at Upper Neatham Mill Farm Bed & Breakfast. It was centrally located to the areas in Hampshire I visited, and it was wonderful to come home each evening to a quiet, comfortable and exceptionally clean room. And if you want to add a delicious cooked breakfast, it’s a great way to start the day. The hosts are committed to ensuring their guests have an excellent stay. I highly recommend this B & B.

- Stephen (10/5): Tranquil location but not far from the town centre. - It was in a lovely location. One of the big things for me was the lack of road noise. I have had many nights in other places in the Alton area where my sleep was disturbed. I also liked the power shower.
- Mary (10/5): Excellent - Location ideal not isolated but quiet. Lovely conversion of former farm house. Extensive grounds to enjoy and easy access to walks. Did not have bkft but evening room service menu good and cooked to order. Hosts so helpful . Easy parking. Very homely feeling

- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tony (10/5): Perfect location for a one night business trip that feels more like a home than hotel - Excellent location, safe secure with good parking. Faultless communications .
- Keith (10/5): Great few days stay, thank you - Lovely place very comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast fantastic too.
- H.orchard (7/5): Did the job - Room was perfectly pleasant in size and facilities. Nice and warm (weather cold). Shower was lovely. Bathroom nice and spacious. Bed huge and fairly comfy although pillows weren't great and only 2 available. Room quiet. Décor very dated and old fashioned. Slight 'musky' smell from wardrobe (chose not to use it due to this). Lighting not easiest to use and when sitting on the bed shines in eyes. Switched that off and used bedside one, which was ok. Not enough pillows / cushions to sit up comfortably. Not impressed with lack of breakfast options either i.e. no gluten-free or alternative milk options. 1 slice of toast with undercooked eggs wasn't great. Was given another 1 slice which was cold.
- Jenny (8/5): Very good - Lovely towels.
Great shower
Heating just right
Bed was really comfortable Pillows were pathetic
Black mould in places at the bottom of the shower

- Lisa (9/5): Super comfy and exceptionally clean - Friendly owner and peaceful pretty location. The bed was super comfy and the room was exceptionally clean. In UK on business, I would have stayed longer if there was availability.
- Stephen (8/5): Good room - I’m certain, on the Trivago web site, it said Breakfast included.
However I was asked £12.50 for breakfast which was very limited in choice.
I could have stayed at the Old Thorns hotel with breakfast and a pool and spa for less!

The grounds are lovely, the room was very comfortable and warm, despite the freezing and inclement snow weather.
Breakfast was lovely and I enjoyed to the whole stay very much.

- Roger (9/5): Superb -
- Uchechuku (8/5): The fact that I would like to go back. - The breakfast was full English and was made to order. The meal was delicious and the pot of tea was very hot as is my preference. I only spent a night at the Mill, but wished that I could have stayed longer.

Outside covered seating area, great in summer.
Rooms serviced each day.
Light meals available in the evening, delicious bacon sandwiches! Homemade bread. It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room. However the owner was very helpful in putting my special milk in its own fridge.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Single night stop over - Perfectly nice stay - Was a very pleasant stay, I was actually in town for a corporate gig and just needed a lay over for the evening.
Room was a good size, clean and well kept.
I only spoke to the owner briefly but he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and very approachable.
- Paul (10/5): - Nice clean modern rooms. Very helpful on arrival.
- Malcolm (10/5): Hidden Gem. - Favorite hidden Gem for me. Always enjoy my stay. Location is lovely. Close to A31 for access and a lovely setting. Glen is the consumate host and I always enjoy aeeing him. Rooms are clean and comfortable and suit my needs perfectly. Breakfast is great and offered with pride. Will always stay here if I can when in the area.
- Jitender (10/5): - A great place to stay on business or for leisure.
- Chris (8/5): Nice ppace - Great place, nice and clean and quiet, friendly welcome.
- Noel (10/5): Fantastic find, won't stay anywhere else in Alton! - Absolutely fantastic trip. I was welcomed in the car park by Glenn, the owner. He showed me to my room which was lovely - massive room, with a huge super king sized bed, smart TV, coffee maker and lovely bathroom. There is free WiFi (10MB) and a great 4G signal here.
A little road noise but it didn't disturb me too much, for the fact I was able to stay in a rural farm location just a 5 minute walk from the businesses on Mill Lane down a little footpath.
Breakfast was absolutely lovely on home made bread, and dinner can either be provided by Glenn or you can walk to the White Hart, a 7 minute walk down the drive. All takeaways in Alton deliver here too.
I will certainly make this my preferred place in Alton now - it's better than anywhere else I've stayed in Alton.
- Joshua (10/5): Great stay - Very welcoming, great breakfast, Huge room with good facilities.
