Tan solo llegar, nos recibieron con dos pequeños zumos que estaban riquísimos mientras nos explicaban los servicios, instalaciones y horarios. Nos dieron una habitación superior de la habíamos cogido por el hecho que veníamos para nuestra luna de miel. Muchísimas gracias! La habitación increíble, todo limpísimo. Cada día teníamos agua en la habitación gratuita. El desayuno es muy completo y muy bueno. La piscina con las vistas al mar, increíble. Es el mejor hotel en el que he estado, calidad precio, perfecto. Recomiendo sin duda Hansar Resort! Volvería a Tailandia solo por estar de nuevo aquí! Nada, todo perfecto.

- John (10/5): A brilliant and luxurious end to 16 days in Thailand! - We stayed here for two nights at the end of a fortnight across 3 islands. The hotel was superb. Our double room with Sea View, was generous with a sea facing balcony, The balcony was large and comfy and as we were on the top (3rd) floor the view was great (Room 1311). Breakfast was lovely and the staff fantastic. The pool was large, spotless and no issues finding a sunbed (we were there 6-8 May). Ideally located 10 mins walk from Fisherman's Village. Our flight was an evening one and, although we checked out at 12, we were able to use the pool and fantastic shower and changing facilities later in the day. Highly recommend! Nothing to complain about at all!

Spacious room and uninterrupted views of the sea. We enjoyed the happy hour drinks, and the staff were polite, friendly and professional. Breakfast spread was good. Easy access to unlimited water. Nice big shower, spacious balcony, good cocktails with complimentary peanuts, appreciated the food recommendations by the reception staff and we would happily return to the same hotel and the same room 1305 There is nothing we did not like about the hotel, however a few minor areas of improvement could be a bigger breakfast spread particularly the hot food thai authentic options. Also better in room coffee facilities such as instant coffee sachets or capsules with a coffee maker

Pool has too many non-guests from other hotels (e.g. over-crowded pool at Holiday Inn) coming in without troubles. Staff trying to stop them but they ignored and snuck in. Breakfast - not too much variety like other hotels. Room has smell but property is aware, they burned the candles every night but still without success. Pillow cases are smelly too. Room was very dark even they provided additional lamp.

Rooms were spacious, the bathrooms were beautiful with huge showers. Large comfortable balcony with rocking chair. Hotel was fairly booked, but always enough sunbeds by the pool. Really really good breakfast! Beach was meh. Sand was coarse and the water was very cloudy.

Das Personal an der Rezeption konnte mir leider nicht helfen, ein Motorrad zu mieten, und wollte mir auch keine Adresse von einer Motorradvermietung geben oder eine empfehlen, was ich etwas schade fand. Daher leider keine 10 Punkte von mir.

Aucun personnel pour mettre les serviettes sur les chaises longues de la piscine . il faut se servir sois même .. Interdiction de fumer en plein air autour de la piscine . Le bar ferme très tôt et tres peu d'ambiance musicale durant la journée . Pas de beach club réel . Les croissants et le pain sont très loin d'être ressemblant a ce que l'on pourrait s'attendre dans ce style d'établissement. Cher pour la prestation globale.

Everything right there, the fabulous pool, the beach right outside, bars and restaurants a few steps away, a 7 -11 shop right outside and Fisherman’s Wharf and markets a short walk down the pathway. The lady at the Tour Desk was beautiful and went out of her way to plan our tours. She had a lovely, friendly manner as did the staff in the restaurant. Overpriced. We stayed in many hotels in Thailand, equally as good but half the price.
- Andreas (10/5): Ein traumhaftes Resort mit perfekter Lage, fantastischem Meerblick, hervorragendem Service und einer Atmosphäre, die uns - Unser Aufenthalt im Hansar Samui Resort & Spa war einfach außergewöhnlich und hat unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir unglaublich herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Der Check-in verlief sehr professionell und gleichzeitig persönlich – man merkt sofort, dass das Personal hier großen Wert auf Gastfreundschaft legt. Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich perfekt. Direkt am wunderschönen Strand von Bophut gelegen, mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Infinity-Pool mit direktem Blick auf den Ozean – dort zu entspannen, während man auf das Meer schaut, ist einfach unvergesslich. Auch der Strand ist sehr gepflegt und ruhig, ideal um zu schwimmen oder einfach nur die Atmosphäre zu genießen. Unser Zimmer war sehr großzügig, modern eingerichtet und extrem sauber. Der Meerblick vom Balkon war absolut spektakulär – morgens aufzuwachen und direkt auf das Meer zu schauen ist ein Erlebnis, das man so schnell nicht vergisst. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und die gesamte Ausstattung des Zimmers war hochwertig und durchdacht. Auch das Frühstück hat uns begeistert. Die Auswahl ist groß, die Qualität der Speisen hervorragend und man kann direkt mit Blick aufs Meer frühstücken. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch das Restaurant – das Essen war jedes Mal sehr frisch, geschmackvoll und wunderschön präsentiert. Ein ganz großes Lob geht an das gesamte Personal. Alle Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Egal ob an der Rezeption, im Restaurant, beim Housekeeping oder am Pool – man fühlt sich jederzeit bestens betreut. Man merkt wirklich, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Das gesamte Resort ist sehr gepflegt, ruhig und stilvoll gestaltet. Die Kombination aus luxuriöser Atmosphäre, perfekter Lage und hervorragendem Service macht dieses Hotel zu einem der schönsten Orte, an denen wir je übernachtet haben.

The staff are always friendly and attentive especially at breakfast and around the pool. Our room was beautiful with amazing views across the bay with a huge comfy bed. Very close to Fisherman’s walking street , with so many restaurants … a lot of returning customers . Very nice SPA for massages , quite better than on the beach . I really love this hotel !!!

- 👉Lior Bar👈 (9/5): - An excellent hotel located on the boardwalk and the beach to the ocean, access a few meters from the hotel to the beach, large, spacious rooms, nicely equipped. Breakfast is very rich and varied in items, nice staff and services, reception and check-out are very friendly and fast. Very few things interfered in one of the days a wedding took place without prior notice so that it blocked part of the hotel's services on beach. There was a malfunction one of the days, the water pump in the building of the room broke down and a situation arose that caused all the faucets to enter the rooms with smelly polluted water, which required us to disappear from the room for almost three hours in the morning and the compensation we were given was vouchers for 4 drinks at the bar🤔. The gym is very outdated in its equipment
- laurence (9/5): Bon séjour mais Un peu déçu . Pas à la hauteur de mes attentes pour un établissement de cette soit disant catégorie d’h - Piscine magnifique . Emplacement sympa pour avoir un accès rapide à pieds au village . Globalement pas à la hauteur d un 5* . Salle de bain avec rideaux de douche en plastique ! A besoin d un petit coup de frais dans l’ensemble de la chambre et salle de bain, un peu basic encore une fois pour un 5 * Partie commune sanitaire à revoir aussi . Le Personnel est agréable mais pas toujours très assidu aux échanges et demandes . Nourritures correct

Rooms felt a bit hot at times, unsure if the ac was out but on our second and last night , it was uncomfortable.

- deveref (6/5): Wishing we had never revisited the resort as it has really gone downhill, from mouldy and dated rooms to poor service. - It pains me to write this review as we fell in love with the resort when we first visited the hotel back in 2018. However, this time around (Feb 2026) everything seems to have got worse, from poor service, lack of giving extra touches we received complimentary such as Happy Birthday set up in the hotel room, to the facilities that have really dated. We booked two rooms, one for myself & wife XL Sea View (#1209) and one for my in-laws Standard Sea View (#1207). It all started badly as only one of our rooms was available to check in at 15:00 (their promised check in time) and the other only being available from 16:00 !!! This was the first time I ever experienced not being able to check in at a hotel at 15:00 !!!! Things continued to go downhill quickly when the first Sea View room allocated to my in-laws (room 1113) was dark, didn't really have a Seaview and was damp and had a mouldy smell. Unfortunately after complaining about the condition we could only be offered an alternative room the next day. Around 13:00 the next day my in-laws where moved from 1113 to 1207. Much better from an overall condition of the room i.e. you could actually see the sea BUT the room was still very damp and had a strong mouldy smell. The hotel tries to get round the issue of damp by putting in dehumidifiers in most of the rooms - this doesn't help in my humble opinion. Other negative points: 1. Soft mattresses for those that like firm beds 2. Massive pillows which you can really only use one of the two supplied 3. Excessive wear and tear is evident everywhere - large cracking in the floor and wall tiling 4. Service especially at the front desk really lacks the "going the extra mile" 5. Not the hotels fault but the beach is dirty and sand is very grainy - a far cry from the beautiful sands you find on the Chaweng beach. There are positives ... the food, drinks and location are excellent which sadly doesn't make up for the shortfall in the actual experience Sadly, we won't be returning again for the 3rd time.

- 460clars (8/5): Almost 5* - One of the highlights of this hotel is the fact that the rooms are all sea facing with stunning views of the hotel pool and private beach, as opposed to the neighbouring hotels where the rooms are housed in buildings perpendicular to the beach. The modern rust coloured architecture is elegant. The rooms are tastefully fitted and comfortable. The huge walk-in shower is a highlight and above all the balcony with sea view is stunning. Breakfast is very good with western and Asian choices. The pancake and sticky rice station is a highlight. Kudos Housekeeping: they always managed to clean the room while we were away at breakfast. The only negative issue was the loud music at breakfast and even worse the loud and out of tune singing from the beach restaurant performing the same cover songs night after night. It became really intolerable when there were 2 different singers: the female on the left and the male on the right at the bar - each singing different songs. Imagine having 2 loudspeakers in your room each playing different music. A peaceful night on the balcony wasn’t possible.

- Critical1 (8/5): Still very nice - My wife and live in the Thai countryside and have stayed at Hansar Koh Samui, multiple times, over 10 years ago. We were excited to revisit and meet up with our friends from the U.S. who were visiting Thailand for the first time. The hotel facilities are still very nice and staff are pleasant and generally accommodating. Perfect location near Fisherman's Wharf while at the end of the promenade, so noise is minimal. Infinity pool is great with beachfront views. Unfortunately, the pool service staff were less than proficient. Numerous, repeated requests for water which should have been offered with towels when we picked our loungers, along with inattentive, slow service was a disappointment. Our remembrance of one pool guy in particular (no longer there) was the service highlight of our previous visits. Eventually, when asked, the pool staff presented a "call" button however too late in the process and there were no routine checkbacks after service requests. We also found that service staff at breakfast, although pleasant, were not anticipatory enough and as helpful as one would expect at 3+, 4 star hotel. Room comfort, once you figure things out, (lights & a/c) housekeeping, spa, front desk, and other staff are excellent. Nothing is a bother as we had difficulty with ThaiTV channels reception which was resolved quickly. Breakfast, after you get a lay of the land, is adequate though not impressive. Even with a Thai wife who also speaks fluent English, communication with breakfast service staff was ineffectual at time. TIT (This is Thailand) Hansar is a beautiful hotel which we would certainly, highly recommend and return to. Just a few reminders to staff, especially pool & dining, about higher services standards would greatly improve the overall experience.

I hope you will give importance to improving the gym and new equipment because it is very old and not safe anymore. The is very small and the equipment is very old. I hope the gym is in good condition and at least the guests have a reason to stay longer at the hotel.
