• Emmanuel (10/5): Excellent séjour - Excellent séjour de 2 nuits à Montesol Experimental Ibiza. L’hôtel bénéficie d’une position idéale pour découvrir la vieille ville d’Ibiza à pied. Le personnel est très accueillant, chaleureux et attentif tout au long du séjour. La chambre était confortable avec une très belle vue. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ! rien

El staff hace que la experiencia sea única! Creo que se debería aclarar que no se puede salir a los balcones por una cuestión de seguridad de antemano (o al menos yo no lo vi al momento de reservar). Eso le quita mucho al encanto de la habitación. Por otro lado el momento del desayuno. Siento que el personal que sirve el desayuno está colapsado, demora más tiempo de la media normal en atenderte, en traer la comida (no es bufet libre) y hasta se olvidan de cosas que les pides. Si bien el sabor es muy bueno, considero que el menú está muy lejos de un 5 estrellas.

The street level cafe was fantastic with delicious reasonable priced food and drinks. The views from the rooftop bar were spectacular, lovely atmosphere with music and great pizza. It would’ve been nice to be able to enjoy the rooftop bar throughout the day as it only opened at 6pm. Everything else was perfect!

Elke dag werdt er een gezond snackje gebracht en je kamer slaapaar gemaakt. Precies wat ik zoek. Ik zou zo nog 100x terug komen nu was ik op solo trip maar normaal in ibiza zit ik niet snel midden in de stad maar als ik weer alleen kom dan ga ik hierheen

• Koenraad (10/5): Heerlijk verblijf in een iconisch hotel. - Het hotel heeft iets iconisch. De kamer (en badkamer) was heel smaakvol en met veel oog voor detail ingericht. Ontbijt is à la carte met voldoende keuze. Het hotel is perfect gelegen, aan het water met restaurantjes en bezienswaardigheden op wandelafstand.

The atmosphere is buzzing from morning to night, which makes it feel really alive and fun. You can just sit in the square and absorb all the movement around you. It’s also super convenient, just a 2-minute walk from the main taxi stand. The interior is also beautifully done, stylish and full of character. Montesol is a perfect balance between being in the middle of the action and having a calm, refined space to come back to. The only thing missing would be a pool, that would have made the stay absolutely perfect.

Camera spaziosa e luminosa, ottimamente arredata nello stile e nei materiali , dalle foto non si evince ma molto gradevole e con carattere. Personale molto cordiale, disponibile ed efficiente. Tante piccole attenzioni dal dolcino prima di dormire, cioccolatini, frutta. Colazione di qualità anche se si può scegliere solo un piatto; non è un vero e proprio buffet. Frutta, croassant, ed un piatto a scelta dello chef sono portati in tavola di default.... assieme a spremute e bevande calde. Personale di sala multilingue e molto cortese. Noleggio scooter, biglietterie e traghetti a pochi metri; cosi come teatro ed ottimi ristoranti.

Voor ons zijn dit al warme temperaturen dus het dakterras zou toch toegankelijk moeten zijn al was het gewoon om maar te zitten en te genieten

• Joanne (10/5): Beautiful hotel in the heart of Ibiza town - Everything it was gorgeous. Our room had a wonderful view of Dalt Vila and the decor was beautiful. We were given an upgrade which was nice as well, and our booking also included the free taxi which is my favourite genius perk! The hotel and staff are all excellent. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here out of season again. The only thing I would say is the breakfast is not the best, the portions are small and it’s a limited choice.

Lovely breakfast and little touches to make you feel well looked after Wish that the rooftop had been open year round, not particularly for the drinks but just as somewhere to sit, chill and take in the atmosphere.

• Dmitry (3/5): Never gonna get back to this hotel in Ibiza - Location is amazing — Rooms have no proper windows, and this was not disclosed in advance. Technically, there are windows, but you definitely would not want to open them. — The customer service was extremely poor, from the receptionist at the checkout to the rude waitress serving breakfasts. — The “best rooftop bar on the island” was closed, and we only found out after going all the way up to the top floor for a drink.

Personal de 10 La calefacción no podíamos regularla de manera independiente y tuvimos que pedir un radiador. Tampoco el aire acondicionado. Solo podías moverte en un pequeño rango la temperatura y eso no me gustó nada.

• Linda (8/5): Cool stay in town - Great location, particularly in the off-season. Rooms are comfortable and cosy. Note that rooms with a view may be subject to noise from the nearby plaza in the evenings (e.g. a party on Saturday lasted until midnight), so a room without a view may be quieter if you are looking to have a good night of sleep. Breakfast selection was limited; a wider variety, including regular bread in addition to sweet pastries, would have been appreciated. As a minor point, we requested a change to a room with a brighter view, which was accommodated. However, it would have been helpful to be informed of the additional fee in advance, before moving our belongings.

• Louise (7/5): Nice hotel in great location. Balconies not usable. - Great location with view onto beautiful square and right next to shops and harbour. Very clean rooms and very comfortable bed. Delicious little petit fours left in room was a very nice touch. I chose the room for the view and balcony. Upon arrival I discovered the balcony was barred with a notice forbidding entry to the balcony| This information was not on the room description nor on my confirmation so was rather a surprise. A feature that is not usable should not be listed as a feature in my opinion. My flight arrived early and I requested early check in. I was blankly informed that checkin was 15.00h. They did allow me entry eventually at 14.00 by which time I had made other arrangements to change clothes so rather disappointing. Nice hotel but decor a bit dated. I didn't choose the breakfast as far cheaper to eat at a local cafe.

Geräumiges Zimmer, mit schönem Blick auf die Fussgängerzone und die Burg. Nachdem das Haus relativ neu renoviert ist, sehr angenehm hier zu wohnen. Leider etwas schwierig mit Gepäck anzureisen. Aber dennoch jederzeit helfende Hände des Personals.

• Vivasunshine (8/5): Lovely hotel in a great location, but extremely noisy on the Vara de Rey side form very early in the morning. - I stayed at this hotel as a last minute booking after a flight cancellation on a Thursday night in February. It's in a great location right in the centre of Ibiza town. The reception staff were warm and welcoming and check in was fast and easy. I paid to upgrade to a 2nd floor room on the Vara de Rey side of the hotel. The room was beautiful, with two sets of french windows opening onto balconies overlooking the Vara de Ray. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. As it was February there wasn't much noise from the pedestrian area in the evening, although I know in the summer this area can be very busy until quite late at night. I would have given it 5* had it not been for the following:- 1) It's not possible to go out onto the balconies as there are bars across the doors. I realise this is a safety measure, however it also prohibits enjoying the french windows open in the afternoon/evening as the room would likely fill up with mosquitos! I'd have sat on the balcony in the evening with the doors closed behind me if that had been a possibility. 2) From around 7 am there were numerous service trucks, bin-collecting vehicles, teams with leaf blowers and high pressure water jets working out in the street at the front of the hotel and along the Vara de Rey right below the (closed) french windows. The team of workers were shouting back and forth to each other without the slightest consideration for sleeping hotel guests. This went on until 8.30. I asked at check-out if this happens every Friday morning, and the response was that it happens every day! So best to consider this when thinking of paying for an expensive upgrade to one of these rooms, as my opinion of the value of the upgrade changed during that 1.5 hours between 7.00 and 8.30 am.

• Anne (10/5): Magnifique séjour en hiver - L'hôtel est magnifique pour un séjour en hiver il est idéalement situé, nous avons eu une magnifique vue sur Dalt Vila au réveil et de nuit. Les chambres ont une décoration simple et épurée mais chic et bohème. Le personnel est très gentil à la réception comme au petit déjeuner. Merci à toute l'équipe.

Cama muito desconfortável e com lençóis e colcha de muito pouca qualidade. O pequeno almoço é desastroso. Julgo nunca ter comido um pequeno almoço tão mau num hotel. Servido à carta, as escolhas são muito limitaras e a oferta de muito pouca qualidade: croissants de miniatura, pau duro, omolete também de miniatura. Empregados muito pouco preparados e a atenderem por obrigação. Chávena no quarto suja. Quando deitei a água para fazer um chá, verifiquei que ficou com um resíduo, que parecia gordura. Um dos piores hotéis em que já fiquei. Não merece ser qualificado com mais de três estrelas. Decepcionante .

• Guest (6/5): Good looking hotel, but I will not return. - Mooi oud gebouw dat stijlvol werd heringericht Bediening aan het ontbijt laat te wensen over. Als je de enige gast bent aan het ontbijt kan het geen 25’ duren alvorens je een pot yoghurt en een croissant krijgt. Bovendien is het belangrijker om te staan discuteren met collega’s. Wanneer we dan uiteindelijk beslissen te vertrekken zonder ontbijt te hebben gekregen krijgen we enkel wat kwade reacties. Bovendien reserveerden en betaalden we extra voor een kamer met zeezicht en kregen een andere. Niet ok. Bij ontvangst krijgen we een zware tabakswalm in ons gezicht geblazen door de man aan de balie. De klant is geen koning, zoveel is duidelijk.
