We will be back
- Jeremy (8/5): - Good
- Tiffany (10/5): - They were not serving breakfast when we were there but other than that we were happy with our stay. Room was clean and very spacious and bed was extremely comfortable.
- Alex (8/5): - Fg
- Darby (10/5): - They sre excellent
- Dennis (6/5): - Website claimed there was breakfast and there was none, confirmed by staff.
- Brandi (6/5): - When we got to the room one of the beds didn't have clean linen on it and it was not made
- Tim (8/5): - No coffee in lobby tv didn't work
- Jana M. (10/5): - The gal who does the cleaning and maintenance was over the top. My fridge wasnt keeping food cold enough. She replaced it immediately and said if any food was bad she would replace it. Wow!
- Jeannie (10/5): - It was very pleasant to stay there melisa the lady that works. The office was very nice. It was very safe and quiet, relaxing there.
- Tiffany (10/5): - Safe
- Suzanne (10/5): - The young lady who checked me in was very kind. My room was clean and it was quiet.
- kathi (8/5): - Staff and owners tried very hard to accommodate any needs.
- Jennifer (6/5): - The room was drab. The TV didn’t work and was aggravating for my husband.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Room was clean and comfortable.
- Candy (6/5): - Paid $5 extra per person for breakfast. There was no breakfast. The on sight pool had black water in it. We were only given 2 towels for 4 people. All 4 people were registered.
- Kevin (6/5): - Very convenient for the fishing tournament we had there. Need more pillows. The pillows were small.
- Randy (10/5): - Great stay! Reasonable price
- Alan (10/5): - Best value in ages
- Laura (2/5): - There were no light bulbs in any of the lamps. Only had a bathroom light.
- Rachel (6/5): - It was clean. The coffee maker didn't work, the shower faucet leaked pretty much. There was a pool but it was green with floaters
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Even had to use a phone to get someone to come. No breakfast.
- Heather (8/5): - The room was fine, comfortable bed, and convenient to all restaurants, and highway accessable.
- Bruce (10/5): - Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would have been nice to be able to have a choice of a breakfast option but I believe that was being put in place for the future.
- Robert (4/5): - Pool was green. Floor in room turned your feet black. Drain valve in bathtub was broken. Housekeeping brought clean towels once in a 4 day stay. Air conditioning was off in July and room was hot and had a musty smell. It took a while to cool the room.
- Christina (6/5): Meh - It was friendly enough, but my reservation stated smoke-free, free breakfast, and that they had a pool. They tried to give me a smoking room, there wasn’t any breakfast, and the pool is broken and sludgy. Fine for passing through. Reminded me of Schitt’s Creek, but there wasn’t David to spice it up.
- Francina (10/5): - The room was clean and everything was in order. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. I will return again when I have to stay in Camden.
- Terry (8/5): Lost and found-No such luck - Our stay was fine but we left two shirts in room and called back to the hotel the next day to reclaim them and they said they would look for them and call me back. They never returned my call.
- Shelly (6/5): - People staying up and being loud.
- Linda (10/5): - Service was great. We were only here for an overnight and it is pretty much the only place in the area but It was clean and in a great location. There is a nice, family restaurant (fish and chicken) on one side of the restaurant if you don't want to drive back out.
- Jennifer (10/5): gem of a motel. - Great room, up to date, great customer service, surprisingly nice!
- Heather (8/5): - Nothing fancy, but surprisingly clean and comfortable for the cost. It is clear that the management has made efforts to improve what appears to be an older establishment.
- Brianna (10/5): - we checked in fairly late at night, and the woman at the front counter was quick, courteous, and lovely! was incredibly excited to see that the room had a mini fridge and a microwave. finally a proper cheap hotel room. 1000 stars.
- Shaun (8/5): - Nice friendly staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Large room, easy access, nice TV and great bed.
All I needed
- Michael (8/5): nice stay - Nice room. Comfortable beds. Easy access to restaurants and stores
- Rodney (10/5): - It's a nice property run by very nice people. Room is clean and well maintained. I feel like we got our money's worth.
- Bethany (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were so considerate and compassionate about my 3 year old son. They even watched TV with him and told him about cricket.
- Joseph (8/5): Mostly good - The room was comfortable, the furnishings were very good, and there were enough of the usual supplies (e.g. towels, cups, tissues). The climate control worked.
The only issue, which was unfortunate, is that I did see a couple of small (<1") cockroaches. I reported it when I checked out, and clearly the man at the front desk took it seriously, so I would consider staying here again.
- chris (8/5): - great stay
- Christy (10/5): - Great
Little hotel but knocked off one star for the nightmare Wi-Fi it only works for short
Periods of time and is extremely difficult to connect to
- Amanda (6/5): Dirty sheet stopped up sink - One of the beds was made but when I pulled back the sheets there was dirt and hair. The sink was also stopped up. I called the woman in reception and she came and changed the sheets and used a cup there to unclog sink.
- Lawrence (4/5): - Sink was stopped up. Tv remote didnt work. Shower didnt work
- Scott (10/5): - 👍
- Stephen (10/5): - Very clean.
- Minnie (10/5): Satisfaction - Stay was wonderful, help is great. Manager is fantastic so caring. This is the only hotel we stay at when we R in that area.
- Leland (2/5): - Have stayed at the Colonial Inn before - it is a nice place and well worth the money. However, this time I booked through Expedia. When I booked through Expedia it indicated 7 rooms remained. When my wife and I arrived at 8:30pm we were told that there were no rooms - the front desk staff explained that Expedia had been notified 2 weeks prior to stop booking. We had to drive 30 minutes away and pay close to double the cost of the room we had reserved.
LESSON LEARNED: CALL THIS MOTEL DIRECTLY - DO NOT BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA
- william (10/5): Comfortable - Modern clean rooms .. friendly staff
- Charles (8/5): nice place to stay - The Motel was a little outdated and could use some renovations. but the room was clean, the service was friendly and the nights were quiet. I will definitely return.
- James (8/5): - Easy in and out. No ramps to get on and off sidewalk around rooms, all flat which was great
- Darren (10/5): - Great little rural property. Friendly staff! Would not hesitate to stay again when in the area.
- Kenny (10/5): - Newly remodeled room that i was in ...I would stay again
- Don (8/5): - Friendly staff even though we arrived late. The rooms were clean and plenty of parking. The Pool hasn't been open in a long time, according to it's condition but it was fall and we weren't planning on swimming. Over all, for the money, it was an enjoyable stay.
- THECIA (8/5): - It was a place to sleep
- Adam (10/5): - The room was nicely updated. The shower and AC worked great! The staff was friendly.
- mark (8/5): - The hotel was easy to get to. Parking was actually big enough to open your vehicle doors without hitting the car next to you.
- Adnan (10/5): - That the staff were awesome and friendly, I recently fly over on a trip to Tennessee and always wondered about to moving to Camden. Then, I realized that transportations would be a problem unless if I knew someone that lived there (in my case I didn't know anybody). If weren't for Melissa and Johnny that operated the Hotel, and their sincere help and generosity, I would be out of luck.
- Michael (8/5): - Staff was nice and room was clean and updated.
- Michelle (8/5): - Staff very accommodating.
- Sammi (2/5): - One of the rooms the chair was broken on the back so when I sat in it it flipped backwards. One shower head in one room wouldn't work at all, and the shower in the second room wouldn't drain properly. The beds were very uncomfortable. Do not recommend.
- Tiara (10/5): - We enjoyed our two nights at Colonial Inn in Camden, TN. The room was clean. Service was exceptional. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Rude, not safe
- Minnie (10/5): - Enjoyed my stay. Staff very friendly
- Lauren (6/5): Just ok - The large parking spots are the best part of the hotel! At arrival you have to ring a bell and do your service through the small sliding window. Right now they still don’t have a lobby open. Our TV didn’t work on the first day, the second day they added another TV that worked instead of replacing it. The towels are paper thin and had very minimal towels. I noticed they have a pool but it is green. The hotel wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be overall. Considering there are only 2 hotels in the area :/.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Bed stains, dead bugs and dog food on the floor, ozone machine running in the room when I checked in. Night latch falling off, tv cables everywhere. Pool closed. Not worth $100 per night!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - There was some renovations that had taken place since we stayed there last. All was very nice except the beds. The mattress or platform was so hard, we ended up with our backs hurting every morning.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a very quiet and clean motel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Looked like blood on floor. Ground in dirt on the carpet before the bathroom. The bottom part of bed was metal? But it was a working guy motel. Been years since i use to do constuction
- Darlene (10/5): Great overall - Staff was friendly. Room was clean and what you’d expect for an older hotel. I will stay here again when I’m back in the area.
- Rich (10/5): - The room was clean, the bed was comfortable And the shower was hot!!😁
- Kimberly (10/5): Great stay - This place is clean and staff is friendly
- Charles (8/5): - It was very clean. They just didn’t bring us any towels the second day. They don’t have breakfast either. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice.
- Deborah (8/5): Old, but clean - Motel was old and showed its age, but clean. My choices were limited as there were only two places in town. I think the price was a little high for the age and amenities, but it met my list minute needs.
- Brooke (10/5): Worth the price! - Very nice stay. The hotel room is more updated than the picture provided here. I meant to take a picture but forgot. Definitely worth the price.
- Chrystal (10/5): - Staff was great! Simple little room, but was clean.
- Rob (2/5): - The ridiculousness to the degree that some people take the COVID-19 precautions shows at this place. That aside, for a $90 per night hotel, this hotel isn't worth $50 or 70. The pool was a cess pool. My feet were always dirty from a floor that had not been swpt since god knows when. The bed covers were thin as manager's excuses and the a/c wouldn't run consistently.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great price, quick and convenient. The place was clean and nice but man the beds were hard and uncomfortable
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Although it is a bit dated, the hotel was very neat & clean. & the staff was very nice. There are 2 restaurants next to this hotel & their food was very good too.
- Rodney (10/5): - This is a great little place thats obviously family operated
One of the family greeted at check in and wanted to do everything possible to make sure the room was perfect
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Stay was ok. Said there would be a breakfast, but no breakfast provided.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Due to change in ownership, the hotel did not have their license to serve food so there was no breakfast. Other than that, everything was great!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I was charged two times for my room and they refuse to answer the phone
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Man at desk was very nice and helpful answering questions. Name of hotel needs to be changed on internet!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was adequate for my needs. A busy weekend in the area with graduations and such, so it was my only option.
- Verified traveler (2/5): No rebooking - I had to stay in the area one night. This was what was available. The king bed was old and lumpy. Pillows the same. It’s an old hotel and needs updating. I think the price should have been around $65-75 per night. I wouldn’t stay there again
- Bob (8/5): - The office did not have my reservation on file from Hotels.com when I arrived to check in, so this took a few extra minutes to go through the check in process.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Outdated/Basic Needs Not Met - Bed was very uncomfortable, took forever to get hot water to come through, WIFI was basically non existent. Staff was ok but very difficult to understand them. The rooms were clean but very underwhelmed by the hotel. Will not stay again. Not worth the amount we paid.
- Amanda (2/5): Pictures don't match in person! - The arrival of our stay was decent. However when we entered our room it was very disturbing. The pictures on the website were not as seen. We thought for sure we were in the wrong hotel. Instantly we notice an awful smell. Shortly after noticed the toilet was running and wouldn't flush. I asked for another room and he politely gave us another. Only to find out the next room was worse. The smell was horrible and the air conditioning did not work. At that point we have had enough and requested a refund. Which was granted. We went down the road to Best Western. We were very please with our decision.
