Guest Reviews
- Martin (10/5): - Outstanding hotel!!! Excellent service!!! Great food!!!
Agradable servicio. Muy bueno el desayuno incluido.
- Indira (10/5): - Todo muy bien
- Roger (8/5): - Staff was great. I was practicing my Spanish and some were practicing English so we had fun each evening on the roof having dinner and drinks.
- Vilma (8/5): - Loved the roof top bar and view! Room was clean and spacious. The shower was small with no closing door or shower curtain. Room key is needed for lights and air conditioner. Food was really good in restaurants, the buffet break was adequate with good hot coffee. Overall I would stay here again since I think it was the best place for in town Las Tablas! And the staff was very friendly!
- Thomas (10/5): - Grand old property, the jewel of days gone by. The building is immaculate inside, the restaurant is great, the bar is beautiful (with great selection and amazing prices), but the neighborhood has slipped noticably
- John (10/5): - This was a great All In One choice--great staff, helpful in every way--super great restaurant on the main floor, great lobby and a roof top swimming pool. Great services nearby as well--supermarket, coffee shop, church and town plaza.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Improvement needed. - Our room was spacious with a bar fridge (that was extremely iced over), balcony and adequate storage. The bed was firm and comfortable. The hotel is aging but the owners seem to try to maintain serviceability. We were on the 2nd floor. Wifi was spotty the first day and non-functioning on the 2nd and 3rd days. It seemed to work fine in the lobby area only. There was a safety deposit box in the room, but it was malfunctioning. Maintenance could not repair it. The was no hot water the entire time of our visit although we were advised when we arrived that it was malfunctioning, but would be repaired shortly. I guess shortly is a relative term. We had decent service in the restaurant but had to wait at least 45 minutes on one day to even get a cup of coffee. Saying that, the restaurant was busy with a large sports team taking up most of the tables and there being only 2 wait staff. I do not blame the wait staff, they were doing their best. Cleanliness was an issue. The shower glass was dirty on both the inside of the shower and the outside that was next to the toilet. It was not touched once during our stay.
- Astrid (10/5): - Great staff and very clean property!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Moving to Las Tables - We had our dog with us. They say they are pet friendly. Room was tight. The stand they give you to put your suitcase on, No room to open the closet. 2 double beds in it. No frills. Just straight hotel. Restaurant was good. Rose the bartender was AWESOME. She hooked us up on a good local bar.
- Richard (6/5): - By far the nicest place to stay in Las Tablas. Having stayed there at least 15 times i feel i can share about this.
It seems that whenever the hotel is almost empty they turn off the hot water, maybe to save money. At least 3 times that we have stayed there was no hot water and we were told it was broken. Come on now?? Really
Aside from that it is a nice somewhat quiet place to stay. As long as there are no fastivals or street parties going on.
- maricelly (10/5): - Todo bien
- Robin (6/5): - We did not have towels…no breakfast on our checkout…overall an ok place since it is the best hotel in las Tablas…
- Andreas (10/5): - Rooms are just amazing, hotel is close to everything, there is underground parking, very conveniently.
- Lilia (8/5): - Clean and safe
- Victor (6/5): - Maybe pay more attention to the little details. Cleanlines.specially
- Richard (10/5): - We always stay here when we visit the family in Las Tablas. The rooms are very comfortable and the AC always works. The staff is very helpful and polite.
The only thing i think they need to work on is their breakfasts options. They have had the same menu for years and its quite bland and boring.
- Jose (10/5): - Muy limpio, acogedor, buena ubicación y excelente atención
- Cesar (10/5): - Great Place
- Carlos (10/5): - Excelente
- Raquel (10/5): - The restaurant charged us 1.00 per container when we order food to go. But overall the hotel is ok. Good air conditioning totally need it in Las Tablas. Pool a little small for the qty of rooms they have.
- Jorge (10/5): - Buena atención
- Marc (8/5): - Maids didn't leave small towel and bath mat for one of the days.
It was nice to have 2 bottles of water each day
- Richard (8/5): - By far the nicest hotel in Las Tablas, we stay there every time we visit family. The only thing I think they need to improve is their breakfast. I know it's included with your stay but it's very limited and not cooked well. The kitchen needs to take a course on how to properly cook eggs.
- Theresa (10/5): - Great central hotel with a really good restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- monique (8/5): Cómodo - Hotel limpio y cómodo
Buen restaurante
- Diana (10/5): - The staff was friendly and helpful
- Donna (10/5): Stay in Las Tablas - All good
- Timothy (6/5): - Staff was very hospitable, check-in was smooth, restaurant breakfast was excellent. Did not get maid service one day despite leaving $2 tip; no hot water for shower; only turned on TV once but most channels were scrambled; instant coffee only available in room (restaurant coffee was excellent!); paper thin walls … but a very convenient location near the town square, and for the price, Hotel is an excellent value!
- Michael (10/5): - Very friendly staff very clean property. Pool on roof was awesome
- Patricia (10/5): - Centrally located
- Patricia (10/5): - Convenient location
- Patricia (10/5): - Convenient
- Patricia (10/5): - Very nice hotel. Walkable. Parking is a little tricky, busy street. FYI expedia's complimentary drink is a house drink with gin. Took us 4 attempts to figure out what the complimentary drink is because our spanish wasn't so great. lol. I do want to say, a complimentary cocktail should be my choice!!! I don't drink gin. Otherwise, we will definitely stay here again.
- Edilsa (10/5): Comentario - Súper bien
- Verified traveler (10/5): - TODO FUE GENIAL EXCEPTO QUE EL RESTAURANTE DEL HOTEL CIERRA LOS LUNES Y PUES TUVE DE DESAYUNAR, ALMORZAR Y CENAR EN LAS FONDAS DEL AREA Y ESO NO ES SALUDABLE.
- CESAR (10/5): Convenient - Hotel is in the middle of the town. Walking distance to local foods and street vendors. The restaurant was very good, quality and prices.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The best hotel in Las Tablas. Complete rooms, good staff atention
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good choice for accommodation in Las Tablas - Good experience overall. One thing only that bothered us was the noise level which is mainly due to the layout of the building; made it difficult to sleep until late in the night when activity in the lobby and rooftop had wound down.
- JEW (8/5): - Good option in las tablas center. Nice pool and bar rooftop.
- Verified traveler (4/5): 2 hours to check in at 10:00pm - After calling in advance to be sure things were in order before our 5 hour drive and late arrival, helped nothing! The staff was not helpful at all and made us get an interpreter through Expedia to comolete our check in. The violateded policy by asking for my CC# via Email, and after all this, we couldnt invite my brother to have a drink the next day, had to play some rediculous game to get him in . Never again, save your money!
- Isabel (8/5): Nice hotel very close to Parque Porras - It was nice, clean and better kept than most hotels in the area.
- Luis (10/5): Great place to stay with family and friends - Beatifull place, very friendly staff
- Steven (4/5): Fine Artwork but... - Upon arrival front desk person was nice and room was ready at 3pm. We had a lot of things to do so we jumped in the pool for a bit and was on our way. Pool was a nice rooftop experience. It was clean and we were brought towels right away. We liked the style and theme of the hotel, real Las Tablas feel. A nice cultural experience with hand painted pictures and walls. BUT...
We arrived back at the hotel for dinner and was greatly disappointed. We were basically ignored by the waiter staff. We were not greeted nor acknowledged or given menu's for a good 8-10min. Some regulars came in and we were promptly greeted and given menus. The waiter had to pass us to get the menu and pass us again to give the menu to the regulars they knew. After that, we decided to leave and decided to eat a local wine festival down the block which was great BTW. We did inform them of this behavior that night and morning. The room had a broken toilet, had to lift the tank top to flush. The ceiling fan was very wobbly. The tv did not work. We asked them to fix the tv, a woman came and said she will be back to fix it. She never came back. The beds were very comfortable though.
