• mervynh315 (10/5): Consistently perfect, every single time. - Somerset has always been my preference when I visit Alabang Manila for work. I've tried Crimson and Acacia but Somerset still feels like home as cringy as it sounds. I am very familiar with the Ascott group and have always preferred Ascott for Makati and BGC, Somerset however has exceptional staff, you are always felt welcomed. Security and service are outstanding, breakfast might not be as varied as others but a great nonetheless. Location is also perfect, close to 24 hours convenience stores, fast food and also the town center. I probably stayed there around 6 to 7 times now, everything is perfect every single time, no issues with the rooms and facilities, checking in or checking out or requesting for service. Only issue is probably from the noise that comes from the event venue at the back, I cant really blame the hotel for that but the noise does travel into your rooms and can be quite loud, especially over the weekends when events may be back to back. Even so, I will still choose to stay at the Somerset every single time.
• johndN2544PZ (8/5): Amazing Staff, convenient and simple - Just a touch too much noise for my liking - Joanne kept the room spotless and always greeted with a smile!! The Filinvest Tent is across the road and an event was happening most nights in December. Loud thumping music was playing until 11:30pm-12am most nights. Although, not the fault of the hotel, not ideal for sleep.. Fantastic staff and service with easily accessible amenities (gym,pool restaurant) made the stay enjoyable.

He checked with us every morning for laundry and what time we wanted the room cleaned. He made us feel very comfortable in our hotel stay. It is a very well maintained Hotel with good food. The sourdough pizza was particularly good. I had an in-room massage that was very relaxing. We will be returning here next time we are in Alabang, Manila.

Special shout out to Joanne who was really kind and cordial who made sure the room was speckless on a daily basis. Will definitely return.

The level of quality and standard of service has always remained high. Their staff in general are always very well trained and this trip is no different. A shout out especially to the housekeeper, Richel, this time as my apartment is always perfectly attended each day.
• yyndat (10/5): Amazing 🤩. One of the nicest hotels I’ve been to in a long time. Staff are fantastic. - What a lovely hotel. Staff are so friendly. Big shout out to the bar staff - they were attentive, helpful and pretty amazing 😻. The rooms are spacious, amenities in the room are great, huge water dispenser (very convenient), the bed is huge and so comfortable, towels are white and fluffy and you have dressing gowns that fit (!) The pool area is lovely, towels available, comfy seating area inside and outside, lounges to chill out. There’s a fabulous looking gym and a room for kiddies to play in. Food has a Spanish theme, and is deliciously tasty. Breakfast is also amazing - and actually warm ! Which I’ve found difficult in other hotels. Happy hour is the absolute best. Location is superb - close to lots of great malls and restaurants. I would definitely come back and stay again. Loved it Only downside - not overly impressed with the spa.
• Raven19820 (8/5): Restaurant is the hotels saving grace - I stayed here for 2 weeks while working in the region. It was my first time staying here and it won’t be my last. I think the gem for this place is the restaurant so I will review this separately. The restaurant is call the fiddle leaf and it is part of the black pig restaurant nearby (another favourite of mine in the area). The hotel itself got 3 stars the restaurant 5 stars so averaged both to 4. The reception like in the Bangkok Somerset were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. Any request and I had only 2, one being to get my safe fixed (took 3 times requesting to get it done) and the journey back to airport on leaving sorted. Everytime I was met with rudeness. Luckily I didn’t have to deal with reception too much so it was no an issue. The bedroom cleaning very much depended on who cleaned it. Some days it looked like just the bed was made and the towels changed. I did end up with hives from the bed although I am unsure if it’s from the bed or the pool area (little bugs from the trees). In addition Saturday morning I was woken at 9:15am to be asked did I want my clothes cleaning. Bear in mind I was exhausted after traveling across from Ireland and then working all week I needed some rest at the weekend. So I was not happy about this. The pool area was nice and it was lovely pre and post work being able to sit up there and have a drink in the restaurant overlooking the pool. As for the restaurant; happy hour was absolutely brilliant I could sip away watching the sunset in the evenings. The food was excellent I couldn’t fault it, easy see the owner was the same as the best restaurant nearby the black pig (which I also visited on my trip). The staff were engaging and friendly every visit. I will stay here again as it’s in a good central location. The biggest reason I will visit is I loved the restaurant area.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - They upgraded our room for free which was nice. However the toilet in the room we got smelt of urine and the microwave wasn't working. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff were very friendly. Overall we had a good time.

The property has a great ambience, the lobby always smells good, and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and they had special gifts in the room during the Christmas celebration and for my pet cat. Can’t wait to come back and check in again!

The hotel is within walking distance of Festival Mall, and there are convenient fast food options like McDonald's and Jollibee nearby. My only concern was the air conditioning—it wasn’t cooling the room enough.
• e_m_brooke18 (8/5): One hot summer staycation - Another summer, another staycation in Somerset Alabang. Again, the experience was impeccable and the staffs are in all smiles. Though we noticed that there are few faces at the reception and security, we still get that friendly atmosphere. One minor concern that we encountered was that the AC in our room is not that cold. We did not bother to report it as we just want to enjoy our stay and maybe our room faces the sun during that time (?) and also it was summer's scorching hot weather but we hope that AC's in the room should be checked before another guest occupies the room. Overall, it still an enjoyable stay.

Our reception was also held in Somerset’s third party Food handler by Fiddleleaf. Everything was perfect during our Wedding Day. Special mention to the Hotel Team of Somerset Alabang, CELYN, KYLE, and JERRY. They were AMAZING! From giving us an upgrade, late check outs, multiple requests, billing concerns and many more. As they all assisted us like FAMILY. They already knew what we needed before even asking them. Even the housekeeping staff and security staff were all friendly and helpful. Their residence manager Ms. Sheen, even gave us a wedding gift on our check out. And since they are pet friendly, they even gave our dogs a welcome gift. Breakfast was really good and it fueled us up for the day. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, which made things easy. It was my friends' first time staying in your hotel and they really enjoyed the 2 bedroom unit that our overnight stay ended up to extending another day. Kudos to all the staffs especially at the reception who accomodated all our needs.
• 547ajs (8/5): AC issues in Rooms - This is our second stay at Somerset. We previously booked the one-bedroom unit and, more recently, the deluxe room. On both occasions, the staff have been exceptionally kind and attentive. The food and service also met our expectations and were truly commendable. However, we were quite disappointed with the air conditioning in both rooms we stayed in. I do not know if we were unlucky but the Daikin split-type unit did not seem to function properly, as it struggled to cool the room. It felt as though the unit hadn’t been cleaned or maintained adequately. Unfortunately, this made it uncomfortable for my children, who were sweating as they tried to sleep. I had to sleep on the couch in an attempt to lower the room temperature for them. We chose not to request a room transfer, as doing so would have caused further inconvenience. We do intend to return, but we sincerely hope the air conditioning issue will be addressed by then. Thank you. We will also be sharing a separate review following your upcoming Easter celebration, which we look forward to attending.
• Camper29019664898 (8/5): Pleasant stay at Somerset - I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were well equipped for long stay and the service was good, especially from Daica, Jarel and Mike. The only little draw back is that the pool is not wide enough. Two swimmers can narrowly pass each other.

Liked the eco friendly option such as non use of plastics and the water dispenser option in the room. Breakfast buffet was very much respectable in what it has to offer. Only turn off was being denied a 1 pm check out. To think I was a Silver member.

I also loved the breakfast buffet at 4th floor, the variety of foods, the fruits and also the staffs in the restaurant are nice especially when miss ella their intern staff, she greeted us with a nice smile and even asked us kumusta ang araw namin. I was not feeling well that morning pero she made my day. She always ask us if we need anything in the buffet or need namin ng coffee at water refil. We never felt that kind of service in any restaurant, take note maraming tao. Imagine she's managing it alone, assissting others, cleaning tables, greeting everyone with a smile. Bilib ako sa batang iyon! You can also connect to the wifi and use laptop when you are dining at the restaurant We will definitely come back at somerset, i already miss your bed hehe so soft.

• Cole (10/5): - The staff here treat us like family and we absolutely enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend this place to anyone whether a family with small kids or a younger. Ouple seeing the country. The only downside and it had nothing to do with the staff, or the hotel, was that there was an event center across the street and at times was bumping so loud through all hours of the night we could barely sleep. We took it all in stride and overall had a great experience;)

Despite the restaurant being full, Ella handled everything so efficiently on her own. She was cleaning tables, assisting guests, and always with a warm smile on her face. Her approachability, cheerful attitude, and attentiveness truly stood out to me. I was genuinely surprised that she’s a trainee because she performed like a professional. Her positive energy made our breakfast experience even better. Ella is definitely an asset to the team, and I truly hope she becomes a regular employee. Her hard work and dedication deserve to be recognized!

• Compass619134 (10/5): Exceptional Stay! - I had the most incredible experience at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave! The breakfast buffet had a fantastic variety of fresh, delicious options, and the rooftop pool offered stunning views of the city. This is truly a gem, and I can’t wait to come back!

• bdet (10/5): Great for families - we had an amazing time spent at the Somerset Alabang. The staff here are very welcoming and very nice, even with our very loud 2 year old (so sorry!) We spent 9 days in a 1 bedroom deluxe. It had a separate living room, with a full kitchen if you decided you wanted to cook (we did not). It also came with a big refrigerator and also had a 5 gallon water dispenser which was great to have. King bed was very comfortable and bathroom was also very big. Lots of storage space to keep your belongings. there was a balcony but we never utilized it since it was kind of hot. Breakfast buffet came with the booking. Lots to choose from, 2-3 dishes usually change but they usually offered plain rice, garlic fried rice, dried fish, eggs, salad bad, noodle dish (this changed daily), some sort of protein (this changed daily), small selection of breads, congee and another soup that changed daily, coffee bar, variety of juices and cereals. One reason i also chose this for accommodations over the other places was because it also offered a kids play room which came in handy every day to release all the energy. Our booking also came with a parking spot which helped a lot when our family and friends came to visit. We used the combo washer/dryer every day. It does take a bit longer to dry, so make sure you dont put a huge load of clothes in. They also offer a shuttle service on weekends to the mall, reservations are required for the times. We never utilized it but its a nice amenity to have. They are also in close proximity to food places. 7-11 is next door as well. I also found out on our last day that they can arrange for airport drop off (i am unsure of pickup). I also loved that they called us every morning when the Taho guy came through! All in all, staying here helped make our vacation in Philippines go really well. Will definitely come back here!

• janeroses350 (8/5): November stay - we’ve enjoyed our overall stay, the hotel is quiet and not crowded, maybe because its was holiday and theres no nearby event on the area. we’ve love the mattress, i wish somerset can give to us the brand of their mattress, its not too soft and just right for my back. we also enjoyed the breakfast and the restaurant on 4th floor serves delicious pizza and pasta as well. their internet connection is okay for browsing and work. the things we dont like are , the shower,the water is not that hot and its also does not reach to lukewarm. their pool is also too cold for my husband but for me i enjoyed it since im the only one swimming. thanks somerset!! we will surely be back :)
• Daniela (10/5): - We've only been to this hotel twice but it has became our favorite place to celebrate occasions. The staffs gave us excellent service. The rooms are perfect. It's a plus that they're pet friendly so I was able to bring my baby, a small dog, both times. They're location is great, doesn't have surrounding busy roads so it's very peaceful and quiet. The staff are always smiling and very approachable. I kinda like that it's lowkey and not overcrowded like the hotels nearby. We always get the 1 bedroom and it's perfect for us family. I love that there's a kitchen, I view it as more bonding time for the family. I love love the spacious and clean bathroom. The buffet breakfast was top tier. Everything is absolutely delicious. The fruits are amazing. Although the selection isn't plenty but trust me, you will be satisfied and won't even taste everything because it was so filling. Overall an excellent experience and will surely be the only place we'll go to for occasions.
• joshuasC2569YS (10/5): Wonderful hotel - I stayed at Somerset for 6 nights and then again for another 4 nights. I really enjoyed my stay here on both occasions. All the staff members are very nice and willing to help. The hotel rooms are clean and housekeeping did a wonderful job each day. I had an issue with AC, but the staff quickly resolved the issue. The breakfast buffet offered Filipino food that I enjoyed and the menu changed each day. The pool had an amazing view and the gym was perfect. Around the hotel are several malls and restaurants, which were walkable. I have no complaints and seriously enjoyed staying here. I highly recommend Somerset and I look forward to staying here again.

Jazz was our server at Fiddle Leaf today and he was incredibly helpful and attentive. We especially liked the Paella, calameres, and cabecero. Thank you to the whole team for the great dinner!

• Yee Fatt (8/5): - Me and colleagues have stayed here for a 5D 4N. The location is good, 10 mins walking distance to Festival mall and nearby got Jollibee and McDonalds. There are two things that need to be improved: 1st - the shower water pressure is very low and the shower head condition is bad; repair is a must! 2nd - the food taste and staff service of the level 4 restaurant need to be improved. The daily breakfast taste is acceptable, but we have dined in the restaurant for dinner. The serving speed is like a turtle, and the food waiting time is almost 1 hour even though the restaurant only has 3 tables of guests.

There is a Spanish restaurant in the hotel. Staff is very professional and security is top notch. A place to stay in Manila if you want to stay away from the traffic and noice of a big city.

• Ana Loella Cuenca (10/5): - This is my second time to stay at Somerset Alabang and the longest one so far. The location is ideal to go around with a lot of dining spots to choose from. Having a bank ATM at the lobby is also quite convenient and feel secure. The service is always top notch with friendly and well attentive staff and crew. Will definitely visit again with the whole family soon.
