The check in process was very convoluted. Took 15 minutes because there were 2 people ahead of me that required canceling and rebooking trips they did through Expedia.

Our room had a pair of dirty socks from the previous guest in the chair. It appeared to be clean and when I wiped the surfaces down to sanitize, there wasn't much dirt noted, which was good. The mattress needs to be replaced. After I had unpacked and got settled, I seen a live roach where the coffee pot is. I killed it of course. If I had seen it upon entering the room before I unpacked, we would've left and requested a refund. Fortunately, we didn't observe any more roaches that night.

• ann (6/5): The lack of water was a bit frustrating. - Plumbing issue - no water for a period of time and when it came back the water was brown with sediment. We were told to run the water and after 40 minutes it was brown. I wanted to take a shower before bed as we had driven 9 hours. We had to ask for bottle water to brush our teeth and wash our face.

• renayew2026 (2/5): I had reservations for the 17th-19th and stayed the 17th, and basically was told to go to another hotel. - Had a very bad experience at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites 400 Russell Pkwy Forsyth, Ga. and I WILL NOT EVER CONSIDER STAYING AGAIN. The lady at the front desk was VERY RUDE and I truly Thank God for growth, because I probably would have went to jail. But instead, I stayed polite and treated her with kindness through all of her disrespect & rudeness. She was an older Hispanic/Indian looking lade with the WORST ATTITUDE EVER. Her tone, demeanor, and I guess she woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning, but I Prayed for her.

The flavored waffle batter at breakfast was also pretty exciting! Parts of the shower broke when I was closing the door. The hard metal piece landed on my toe and bruised my toe nail. I’m afraid it’s going to cause my toe nail to fall off 😢

• Robina (1/5): - Absolutely nothing positive to say about this property. The room was extremely dirty — the carpet was damp, smelled strongly of mildew, and brown water came out of the faucet. When I brought these serious issues to staff attention, they responded with aggression and intimidation rather than concern. Management was completely unhelpful and dismissive, stating the only solution was for me to leave and that a refund would be issued — which never happened. Despite multiple requests, they refused to provide a receipt for my stay. This property operates in a highly unprofessional and unscrupulous manner. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs. Filthy, Unsafe, and Completely Misrepresented This hotel was an absolute nightmare from the moment I checked in. The curtain was hanging off the window, the TV remote had no back, the lampshade was torn, and a foul odor came from the closet so strong I couldn’t even place my clothes inside. The bathroom ceiling had visible mold, and the central air was broken. To make matters worse, there was a handwritten sign taped to the wall — completely unprofessional. The entire room was unsanitary, poorly maintained, and nothing like the photos advertised online. Management showed no concern and offered no meaningful resolution.

Mattress was covered by some kind of crinkly protection and was lumpy-soft. The hotel looks as if it has benefited from recent renovation but still shows wear and tear (chipped paint around bathtub, warped bathroom floor, marks on furniture, etc.).

Road traffic was noticeable through the night but we still slept fine. Only 1 person on front desk so we waited a bit to check in but no biggie.

The first room had used women’s underwear left on the floor and bugs present, clearly indicating it had not been properly cleaned. We were moved to a second room, which was also filthy and had bugs. We were traveling with children and an infant, and the conditions posed a health and safety concern. This experience was far below basic cleanliness standards. I would not recommend this property, especially for families.
