- drops332 (10/5): Greatful to staying at Casa Jum - My name is Jess, and I am an American citizen. This was my first time traveling to the Dominican Republic. When I first arrived at the hotel, I was feeling really sad because I came to the D.R. for business and was under a lot of stress. At the front desk, I met Kareem, who was incredibly kind to me. I was so down that I could barely speak, but Kareem, with his kindness and uplifting personality, took the time to talk to me and motivate me in such a positive way. Later, when I went to my business meetings, I was surprised at how confident and energized I felt — all because of the encouragement Kareem gave me. Thanks to him, I made a lot of sales and felt proud of myself again. Honestly, a person like Kareem is a real asset to a place like Hotel Casa Jum He makes this hotel feel powerful and full of good energy. The hotel itself is very clean, beautiful, and welcoming, but people like Karim make it truly special. I loved my experience at Casa Jum, and I can’t wait to come back on my next trip to the Dominican Republic.

- Experience459122 (10/5): Good room for the rate! Clean and safe!! - We were there overnight on our way to Cabarete. They picked us up from the STI airport at around 9 PM. The driver was very nice and when we got to the hotel, they cooked us some food even though it was late. The owners are very nice, and he spoke good English. They also answered all our questions and helped us to get to the bus station to go to Cabarete the next morning. I thought the rate was good and the room was clean and safe for the rate.

Wjen I went through Expedia, Expedia tried with 5 different agents and could not cancel my reservation or even move it for another date. I had an emergency and could not make it to the reserved dates. I called them and they wouldnt respond. They will try to rebuttle with excuses on this review, dont trust the management of this place. They lie and give you the run around!

They can bring is a masseuse but they neither honored the appointment nor price I had prebooked. The desk clerk on duty can cook you a meal but I am doubtful of any consistency. Having only a couple rooms and not likely having outside restaurant customers… well, you get the picture.

- sowes2024 (10/5): Really nice and clean and great value - I really enjoyed staying at this hotel although just one night. The moment we walking into the lobby we noticed it was very clean and with a very pleasant smell. Leandro at the front desk was excellent! Very friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised that the two bedroom I booked were separate rooms, across from each other. It is a small hotel and it felt we had the whole place to ourselves. The rooftop was a very nice addition and we caught both a beautiful sunset and sunrise from it. The rooms were cleaned and smelled real good. The surrounding area to get to it seemed a little sketchy but the street where the hotel is felt very safe. Would definitely stay there again. The overnight girl was very nice and accommodating as well. Very pleased.

The hotel manager goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and alsays renembers returning customers. Transportation to other cities can easily be arranged, or even a ride to the airport, which is very convenient.

The parking is gated with security. Breakfast was average and not included. They do have breakfast plans so be sure to negotiate up front or check out one of the many good breakfast restaurants in the area. If you want to save a little without dropping your standards this is the place!

- Marc (10/5): - It's a small place but well kept. Front desk associate speaks English and was very courteous. Internet works and the room was comfortable. I was expecting a bottle of water but everything was for sale.

- Julio (8/5): JAZ in Santiago - Overall, the hotel was great and comfortable. But there is no parking onsite, and I had to park on a narrow street. Other than that, it was good.

- Gregory (10/5): - Hotel very clean, staff went out of their way to make my stay pleasant! Perfect for what I was looking for. Bed was extra comfortable and very quiet. I only stayed 1 night but perfect little hotel to relax and sleep before my flight home. Thank you again to the hotel staff!

- Lola (6/5): - We stayed one night in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. The accommodations were great, but we were taken advantage of when we ordered room service. We were not given a menu as we requested. The food took over 2 hours to arrive and we were told a price to pay in cash without a receipt. When I asked for a receipt the next day, I saw we were overcharged and did not receive the Orbitz food and beverage credit that came with our reservation. I disputed this but they refused to refund the difference. I believe they saw English-speaking Americans and decided they would just take our money.
