• GirthyGuy (10/5): Wonderful times at Pueblo Bonito Pacicfica - We came with a group of friends that we are all turning 60 and had the most wonderful experience at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. The restaurant staff of Anna Javier, Lorna, Alexis, and Marco with the manager was above excellent! And the food was delicious. One of my favorites was the chicken mole~ Everybody was so helpful and friendly. Everything was so clean and tidy. Would recommend it to all my friends and family.
• tmtdsw (10/5): Unexpectedly good food and amazing staff - Beautiful property. I don’t write a ton of reviews but this place stood out. I’ve done several cruises and all inclusive. This is the first place where both the food and the service stood out. The entire staff was so friendly. In today’s world, it was unexpected! And the food was so unusual and so good. Not like come to expect from all Inclusives. We loved the main restaurant Siempre and the staff was SO awesome — Ana, Javier, Florida, Alexis, Luis and Marco the manager. It is a pretty quiet property, not lots is nightlife if that’s what you are looking for, but it is a wonderful place to stay, relax and have fun.

From the very beginning, our wedding coordinator, Ximena, was absolutely incredible. She was there for us every step of the way, helping with every single detail, big and small. Her communication was always fast, clear, and reassuring, which made the entire planning process feel effortless and stress-free. Beyond that, she is such a warm, kind, and genuine person—you can tell she truly cares. On our wedding day, everything came together more perfectly than we ever imagined or even planned for, and that is all thanks to her. She created a night that we and our families will cherish forever. Our photographer, from EM Weddings—Enrique—was absolutely amazing. He captured every single moment so beautifully and naturally, allowing us to relive our entire day through his work. Every photo feels emotional, genuine, and perfectly timed. Our minister was also incredible and delivered a ceremony that felt so personal, heartfelt, and meaningful—it was everything we hoped for and more. The women at the Spa who did our hair and make-up did an amazing job as well. They made us feel comfortable and listened to every request! Our bartenders were also incredible. They made any drink you could have imagined and always did it with a smile! The reception was an absolute dream, and DJ Jhonathan completely brought the energy! He kept every single guest on the dance floor the entire night. The music was perfect, the vibe was electric, and it truly felt like one big celebration from start to finish. Everything flowed so perfectly. We also have to give a very special thank you to our butlers, Beto and Leo. They went above and beyond in every possible way throughout our stay. They made us feel like royalty—truly like kings and queens—but more than that, they became like family to us. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made our entire week so memorable and special. Every single person at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica played a role in making our wedding and stay the best experience of our lives. The beauty of the resort, the outstanding food, the level of service, and the love we felt from everyone made this an experience that both we and our guests will treasure for the rest of our lives. If you are considering having your wedding here—do it. It will exceed every expectation you have and give you memories that last forever. We have never cried so many happy tears as we did at Pueblo Bonito.
• X6789GJpaulg (8/5): A solid choice for couples - My wife and I went to Pueblo Bonito Pacifica for a week in March. There are several other resorts all under the same banner, Sunset. Rose, Bianco. For us, Pacifica was the right choice as it was far calmer than the others which were filled with families and spring breakers. Still we had privileges at those other locations should we wish to shuttle over. Food was excellent at all the restaurants on site. Wine choices were limited and for access to the premium list an extra charge applied. Service was wonderful and staff was very friendly and hard-working and it showed in the cleanliness and up-keep of the grounds and interiors. I have a special shout-out to Christian who works in the gym. He does pilates and yoga classes and i did two private sessions with him the gym to work on mobility and strength exercises. He created a program I could take home with me. For the $65US/ session it was well worth it!! Another notable staff member is Geovanni who create craft coctails in an airstream by the pool. Exceptional! The reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is because the beach, while lovely did not permit ocean access. We knew this from time of booking but it was still missed.
• U6613DJmichellec (10/5): Easy favorite - I've been to Pacifica twice this year, once for a work trip for our company, and once with my mom for a birthday girls trip. Both times were great experiences with two different groups. Our company trip is more fun, active couples, enjoy the pool and drinks kind of trip. My mom is 60 and had never been to an all inclusive resort, and it did not disappoint for food, relaxation, pool and views. The lobby is stunning, and the rooms are conservatively nice. The restaurants are pretty good, and there are so many options between this and the 3 other resorts you can visit. Get reservations as soon as you can because they book up. For a quick bite the market up at sunset is perfect for fast casual food. We took a cab to town but you can wait for the shuttle bus if you prefer to get to blanco and rose which are on the swimmable Medano beach. The water activities are made fun by the staff -definitely join the trivia games at least one, I recommend a higher room with an ocean front or view. If you need a more party vibe this is not the place, but if you need a relaxing, quiet yet fun resort this is for you.
• firemike115 (8/5): Overall good except… - Overall, this is a very nice property. We arrived a bit early and check-in was seamless. No waiting for luggage, straight to our room. The room was nice, clean with a view of the sea. Food: the pool menu was good, fish or shrimp tacos, quesadillas, salads, all good. Pool bar cocktails were as we expected. Beers, Palomas, the usual. Our first dinner was at Siempre, it was good with one exception. The included wine is not good. Very not good. You can choose to buy a bottle or glass of something else but we thought the price was inflated. The sushi place was good. We were able to order pretty much as much of whatever we wanted everywhere except… LaFrida. Our last night there we took the shuttle over to the Sunset property to have dinner at LaFrida. Just getting in the door is an up charge of $90 for two. We were seated outside at a table with a beautiful view. The upsell began, do we want wine? (How bout we look at the menu and know what we’re eating first)? Next, here comes the fancy cocktail cart. Tequila old fashioned? Nope. Our server arrived and informed us that our order would be limited to either an appetizer OR a salad, one main and dessert. No exceptions. We never experienced this at any of the other restaurants. I was surprised here because we had to pay extra to go there. What we had was good but it just felt chintzy. For what the all inclusive cost, I feel like they could be more generous. Coffee with dessert? Extra charge. Gimme a break. The in room breakfast was always good. We had a couples massage that was very nice.

A special thanks to Ofelia, the head bartender in the lobby bar (Partidos). She is a great host and consummate mixologist. Her Skinny Margritas are some of the best I’ve enjoyed in Mexico.

• Joanne0554 (8/5): Nice Place - We were here for one night, very beautiful resort, and enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn't stay longer as there's nothing to do, especially at night with no entertainment. It's quiet and peaceful but we think a few things could be improved. We found the pool too hot, like bath water and it was not very appealing to go into bathwater with a whole bunch of other people. The place was very busy as there were a few events/weddings going on, so getting chair by the pool was a bit difficult. Our room with balcony was quite nice and the bed was comfortable. The food at Siempre was delicious and our waiter exceptional. Breakfast in the same place was o.k. but bacon would have been nice. What we did not like was the fact that All Inclusive ended at 2:00 p.m. Most resorts let you enjoy the food and drink until 5:00 p.m. We had to wait to go to the airport so this didn't suit us. It's quite expensive to stay here so we found that detail a bit cheap.
• lawrencecP8989CX (6/5): 3/5 stars. Wouldn’t come back to this resort. - Overall, it was a decent stay and experience, but there are a few things that need to be addressed at this location. First, the resort should clearly inform guests about what is not included in the all-inclusive package. We went to a bar inside the resort and were never told that anything ordered there would cost extra. The bar itself wasn’t anything special and the drinks were pretty awful, so it was disappointing to be charged for them—especially after paying top dollar for what we assumed was an all-inclusive experience. While it was nice that the resort wasn’t overly busy, I expected a bit more for the price. Many of the “nicer” restaurants require an additional cover charge that can reach hundreds of dollars per person, and they also expect a tip based on the total bill. For example, we went to La Frida, which had a $50 per person cover charge. By the end of the meal, we had two appetizers, two entrées, and churros for dessert. The bill came out to about $400, and they ask you to tip based on that full amount, using preset percentage options. The confusing part is that the receipt initially shows only the $100 cover charge, which makes it seem like you’re tipping based on that amount. I selected the 18% option and ended up tipping $60. Fortunately, you can adjust the tip amount later at checkout, but that’s not common knowledge and wasn’t explained to us. Lastly, we were charged for a movie we never watched in our room. The receipt showed it was purchased at 2 a.m. on the day we arrived, when we weren’t even at the resort yet. Despite explaining this, the staff insisted their system is never wrong. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but the extra charges and lack of transparency were frustrating. I probably wouldn’t stay at this location again, though I might consider trying their Sunset Resort instead.

Favorite place on earth and we have traveled extensively. This trip we met Javier in the VIP lounge and he provided excellent service. Isaias from VIP has become our favorite person to see. • katchafire42 (10/5): Magical Week At Pueblo Bonito Pacifica - This was our second trip to Cabo, and our first to the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. While we loved where we stayed last year, the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is definitely an upgrade! The hotel-arranged transport from SDC airport and check-in process was super easy thanks to courteous and attentive staff and the super-handy Pueblo Bonito Resorts app. We truly loved the location and layout of the Pacifica, which is situated right on the beach with nearly all rooms having some sort of view of the ocean. We were on the first floor in the building closest to the beach. It was great to sit on our porch with a coffee and watch the sunrise. And there were several wonderful spots on the resort where we got to see the whales! From top to bottom, the resort is exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the staff is incredible. Siempre was great for breakfast and dinner, and we loved ordering from the Aire Restaurant for lunch. Peninsula Restaurant offered an amazing dinner with world-class service as well. We found the drink options to be very plentiful as well, with a special shout-out to Oscar at the Peninsula Bar and Giovanni at the Pacific Lab Airstream - we LOVED the hand-crafted cocktails there in the evenings! It was also fun to walk or catch a free shuttle van to the nearby Quivera clubhouse and Sunset Beach for additional restaurant choices. They also have a beautiful botanical garden on the property. For dinner our last night, we went to La Frida which is a nominal upcharge - it was SO good and the ambiance was beautiful. The staff throughout was incredible, friendly, and hard-working, the food was excellent, and our room and was super clean and comfortable with plenty of space, a nice comfy bed, and all the amenities we could ask for! Literally the ONLY constructive feedback I could give would be the addition of some body wash in the shower instead of just bar soap - but we fixed that easy enough with a trip to the onsite gift shop that has just about anything you may have forgotten for your trip, along with specialty coffee drinks, clothes, snacks, and gifts. We will ABSOLUTELY be returning as soon as possible to visit our new friends at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica and try out some of the things we missed such as the steakhouse.

• A336DGleahd (10/5): Excellent Stay with Access to Sister Resorts - There are so many all-inclusives offered in Cabo, and I did my research prior to booking PB Pacifica. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, but there are a few things to note during your search for the ideal vacation. The resort is located an hour away from the airport (SJD). From reading, it seems like a taxi would be more expensive than booking through the hotel via their shuttle service. I highly recommend booking the hotel shuttle service. As soon as I got off the plane, I headed outside to umbrella 12, and there were employees waiting. I was able to get seated right away in an AC bus and headed straight to the hotel. With other resorts in the past, sometimes we would have to wait until the entire bus was full before leaving, but this one only had 4 other people and we were able to go. There were a few other people going to PB Rose, PB Sunset Beach, and PB Pacifica was the last stop. The front desk did get backed up when we got there, but overall they were quick to accomodate our request for 2 beds. I like how there is no card for the hotel room, everything is done with a scan of the bracelet. PROS: -There are 3 different restaurants (Pescados, Peninsula, and Siempre) for dinner. You must make a reservation beforehand, and this can easily be done at the front desk or any restaurant hostess. -Breakfast and lunch are offered at Siempre. The menu is pretty much the same every day, but I liked the variety of breakfast a lot. Florinda was helpful, attentive, and an excellent server to us! Get the capuccino for breakfast :) -The dinner at Peninsula was fantastic, much better than the other two options at PB Pacifica. Everything was cooked well, very gourmet, and Alan H. was the most amazing server. He was polite, attentive, and kind and friendly. He even recommended a specialty cocktail from the bartender when I was figuring out what to drink, and he noticed my friend didn't have a spoon for her soup before she even asked for one. Alan was the best waiter we had the entire trip! -This resort is what we wanted, a QUIET spa-like vibe. This is not the place to go if you want a spring break, party-style resort. Everyone here wants to relax, and it is adults only. They don't play loud music at the pool either, unlike the other resorts. -I enjoyed the variety of the pool snack bar menu. Chicken wings and fries are a must. -You get to access the other resorts. I highly recommend going to PB Sunset Beach (only 5 min ride away, shuttle runs 24/7) to try the Market at Quiviera. The Market is a food hall with a bunch of different cuisines. The italian pasta was delicious, and they have a gelato bar. We went back every day of our stay for the gelato. Also recommend the rice pudding and churros at the Mexican spot in the Market. If you're at PB Sunset Beach, check out the Sky pool as well for the view. I also recommend going to the Montecristo Villas for the Cibola restaurant for dinner. Make reservations early for this one. Aside from the Peninsula, Cibola restaurant was the other highlight in terms of food. They served scallops, oysters, pasta, and creme brulee. OTHER POINTS: -Being that this is Cabo, beach is not swimmable. The views when you first enter the lobby are okay. Much of it looks like a desert with cactus, and compared to other resorts, it doesn't have that 'wow' factor when you first walk in since the ocean view is obstructed. However, don't let this mislead you as I do think my stay here was better than many of my previous stays at other all-inclusives. -Every menu has premium items that you have to pay extra for. Just be on the lookout so you don't accidentally order something that you didn't intend to. There are a few restaurants called La Frida and Quiviera Steakhouse that will cost extra if you'd like to eat there. -After every meal, you have to scan your bracelet for a bill that will read zero dollars. This is fine, but you have to scan it another time for tip. We ended up bringing cash to tip instead of using their ipad, but this is something new I hadn't experienced before at other places. -This was not bothersome to me because I knew what type of resort I was looking for, but if you need activities and night time shows for entertainment, this is not the resort for you. There are rare daytime activites (they had a volleyball game in the pool, but I don't think enough people volunteered to play) and most people here just wanna sit by the pool or they are here for a wedding. -Our room was great and the AC worked so well! The only thing was the shower could have been better with the water pressure. Overall, I would come back!

This trip was completely last-minute thanks to renovation chaos at home — and once again, Pacifica turned stress into stillness. Perfect weather. Peak whale season. Daily breaches right from the sand. It’s impossible not to reset here. A Special Moment This Visit One of the highlights of this stay was finally sitting down with Rene, the General Manager. After thirty visits, it meant a lot to have a genuine, candid conversation about our experiences over the years — what’s worked, what’s stood out, and where there’s room (however small) to elevate even further. He asked for honest feedback — and I gave it. That level of leadership says everything. There truly aren’t many areas to improve, which is rare after this many stays. The fact that he still wants refinement is exactly why Pacifica continues to outperform. The Team That Makes It Exceptional Service here isn’t transactional — it’s relational. Dulce and Gabriel remain constants in the best way — thoughtful, consistent, and genuinely warm. The heart of why we come back!!!! Oscar at the Peninsula Bar continues to go above and beyond, making sure sunset cocktails are exactly right. Amanda at the beach beds is always a joy — welcoming, attentive, and effortlessly polished. Manuel, Francisco, Daniela, and Areli have all been outstanding this stay. There’s honestly too many people to mention. Everyone is constantly aiming to please. And a special nod to Executive Chef Arriaga — the culinary program is simply operating at a different level. Dining That Keeps Raising the Bar Siempre continues to impress, and I am formally requesting the recipe to that creamy poblano soup. Immediately. Elevated without trying too hard. Consistent without ever feeling repetitive. That consistency is leadership. It’s culture. It’s team. We have one more night here, and leaving never gets easier. Our butlers, Leo and Beto and Hannah, were amazing as they helped us book restaurants, tours and even let us know the day when the turtle release was taking place. They attended to all our needs professionally and made our vacation top notch. The vip lounge was a nice place for breakfast or lunch with great views of the beach and to whale watch. There were lots of humpbacks just off shore which was lovely to see. These were the highlights during our stay and seamless for us. Pros - pool and hot tub, served by Francisco who was great. Housekeeping with turn down service in the towers by Paula. Easy texting for any needs, room service was hot, quick and really good. Restaurants were all great. Be sure to do Sunday brunch buffet if you are onsite. It was delicious. And the hostess and Ana were amazing. We had sunny weather in the 70F/22C range with a cool breeze which was perfect! Cons - the welcome gals and 2.5 hours of timeshare conversations. We didn’t expect that as had expected a tour of the properties and amenities. We will definitely be back! Gracias!

All the staff we encountered were kind and efficient but my favorite place to hang out was Peninsula Beach bar with Israel, Fernando, and Javier. They took extra special care of us and made our experience wonderful. Luis Guerrero was our server at Peninsula for dinner and that was also a top tier experience. Definitely will visit again!

• SBT66 (8/5): A week at the Pacifica - We returned from a seven day all inclusive at the PB Pacifica. It was our first time with this chain and we had heard fantastic reviews when booking last year but had some concerns upon reading recent reviews. I will endeavour to break this down into feedback and also tips/information for future travellers. The resort itself is lovely and quaint. It is about 50 min from the airport and I strongly recommend booking private transport to and from. By doing group, you are adding potentially 1-2 hrs with having to stop at the hotels along the way as this is pretty much the last resort on the west side of Cabo. Checkin was smooth however we did miss a welcome beverage (I was prepared for this from reading previous reviews), it’s a nice touch that is extremely inexpensive and the resort should consider reintroducing this to set the tone of hospitality at the highest level. We also note they only had one staff member working and the line-up for check in and other guests who needed assistance was about 12 people deep and moved slowly at 4 pm. For supper at this resort, every restaurant requires a reservation. Even the “buffet”. I knew this was the case coming in so I had the app downloaded and ready to go and started making reservations while my husband completed the check in. I was not able to find any reservations for that day and the staff member assisted me by calling Simpiere and making us a reservation for 5 pm even though the app showed full. The room was clean and lovely however I was disappointed that the only alcohol selections in room were beer. There was also no complimentary snacks. This is the first high end resort I’ve stayed at with no chips or peanuts or something in the room. Again this is a small touch that would be inexpensive to ownership that would go a long way if implemented. The food here is tremendous. Every restaurant was high quality and delicious. Please do yourselves a favour and go to the Quivera clubhouse for breakfast one day. No reservations and the shuttle is very quick and easy. It is a menu’d breakfast and the food was spectacular. The shuttle is easy to book on the app and we utilized it to book to go into town from the sunset for dinner at the Rose and it was comfortable and on time. Pools are wonderful here - our main server Francisco was among the best we have ever had at an AI. The drinks and food were alway accurate and quick and we never had to flag anyone down. If you are interested in a cabana, get on the list upon arrival. We ended up getting one our last day for 40 USD and it was a nice switch up. This resort does not have a swimmable beach which may bother some, but we are more pool people so it wasn’t an issue for us. If ocean swims are your thing, take the shuttle to Sunset and then the Rose and swim there for the day. We were able to see whales splashing every day from the pool which was a special experience. Overall this resort is very quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect vibe for us as we enjoy a relaxing atmosphere. Other guests were friendly but also more introverted and this was absolutely not a resort with a party atmosphere or raucous behaviour. Some brief pros and cons; Pros Friendly service, everyone in every role at the Pacifica had a smile and was pleasant and helpful Minimal time share pressure - only approached once at our Quivera breakfast and the lady buzzed off immediately after we said no Housekeeping always had rooms made up before noon which we loved Immaculate grounds Good quality drinks - most top shelf liquors are included despite previous reviews, the super high end stuff is extra (ex grey goose), but I did not get one drink all week that was house vodka and they were all made with Stoli as requested Easily walkable Chairs available by the pools fairly easily, not a ton of pool hags Cons; A few times we had cold food. Fries by the pool and chicken wings at Pescados. We felt we had poor service off resort at both Asian restaurants at Sunset and Fellini’s at Rose, servers were friendly but overall were not efficient - we sat without water for 30 min despite asking for a refill at Zao Shen and the girl assigned to our table for water was not able to tell me where the washroom was. Not the biggest deal, but small areas for improvement. Overall, we loved this resort and will return. Highly recommend for couples who want quiet elegance and high quality food and drink.
• A1544LYjenniferh (4/5): Mediocre resort for the price, would not recommend - Not what I expected for an all inclusive resort at this price point. It was impossible to get into the restaurants at a reasonable time, I worried we would starve at night because all the pool side service stopped at 5 pm and it was so hard to get into the restaurants. Many open tables but they wouldn’t seat us maybe due to staff. Upcharge items were NOT clearly marked. There was NO cafe on the resort, except a Starbucks which charged $7 USD up charge per drink which was not clear. Pool side staff almost never came over to serve us, even with tipping etc, and required aggressive waving. Overall I was totally bummed by my experience. I finally took a few days off to relax but did not feel pampered or laid back. 2-3 wristband scans for every meal or bar order also totally blew my mind. Folks at an all inclusive do not want to constantly be going thru a payment simulator for $0 charges. Constant gnats, crawlies all over bathroom sink and toothbrushes, grasshopper in our room made the space feel unclean.
• Rnelson55 (6/5): OK Resort - Nice Hotel and great location for whale watching. The reason only 3 stars is there are lots of areas for improvement. Rooms are very nice. We had 2 ocean view suites. The up charges for certain items above and beyond all inclusive is a bit much. I get that some brands of alcohol or premium steaks are a bit more than average but than charge the difference, not try and sell at regular prices. Charge the 2 dollar etc for a different brand of Vodka like Grey Goose. Dont charge 10 dollars. Same for up charge steaks. Charge 20 dollars more not 100 dollars more which would be a typical Wagyu cost. The Asian restaurant at Pacifica was amazing, yet the Asian restaurant at Sunset Beach resort in The Market was no where near same quality of food or taste. Butler service is a waste of money. The butlers are nice but it’s not what you would think of a butler. They will get you dinner reservations, pool chairs, room service, etc but you can call operator and get same thing. Transportation shuttles between properties is a long wait at times. At one point there were like 30 people waiting half hour just to go between Sunset Beach and Pacifica which is a 5 minute ride. Sometime shuttles would be dedicated between properties and other times they would stop at every stop making longer wait times and crowds.

It was an exceptional stay and that this the reason we always come back. We chose to stay in the Towers and had butler service. Our butler, Leo, was the best we've ever experienced. He helped us get reservations a week ahead of our arrival. He booked NYE at the Quivera Steakhouse for four of us. In addition, it was quite busy at the resort and he was able to get us reservations for dinner each night. My husband had a mishap on the golf course with a cactus and he had needles stuck deep into his hand. Leo helped us get the Dr on staff (at Sunset Beach) to come to our room the next day to help extract the needles. Leo worked past his quitting time to get that set up for us. Leo was compassionate, kind, and always had a smile. He felt like a friend. Beto helped us wrap up our visit and we appreciated his time. Rene at the pool was exceptional each day. He was quick to ask us what we would like and often times brought a drink without us asking . . . he anticipated our needs like a true professional! I had a massage during our visit and the therapist was Iralda. It was the best massage I've had in Cabo and we've been going here for 5+ years. I would highly recommend asking for Iralda! As always, the food was incredible in each of the restaurants and the service was stellar. We loved the VIP lounge and its drinks and food. We will always return here and we will always recommend Pacifica to anyone we meet. Thanks for an incredibly relaxing vacation!

Visited the market and it was really busy so watch what time you go, Sunset resort is huge compared to the tranquility of the Pacifica. Only draw back might have been the hallway cleanliness- dishes left out & debris, also towel service at the pool was spotty at times. Very exclusive location, passing through three security checks. You can see whales & cruise ships right from the pool. Husband enjoyed the golf next door. Hope to go back!

We had dinner there last night and were so disappointed. Shorter menu , and the food was mediocre at best. Our favorite things are no longer on the menu. PLEASE bring back the old Pescados.. It's one of the main reasons we keep coming back. Other than that, the staff at the hotel are wonderful. The rooms badly need updating but we don't mind very much. The new Nespresso machines are a nice addition. Housekeeping is great. Whale watching was spectacular this morning from the beach lounges. More lounges are a plus. Breakfast at Siempre was delicious as always.
• 155elliep (10/5): Favorite December relaxation spot - We come every year. This year we came with family and friends. We don’t get a fancy ocean view room but the rooms are sufficient and we don’t spend much time in the room. We like the round pool by the beach which is serene and relaxing. Most years we see whales at least one day if not more. The best part of the resort is the service. Carlos at siempre for breakfast was always a pleasure and remembered our daily drink preferences. Dora at siempre was so lovely and made the best quesadillas and crepes. We had Christian by the pool almost our whole week and he was excellent. We were disappointed Rene wasn’t posted in our area because he has always provided exceptional service and he remembers us and gave us hugs. My parents had an excellent dinner at peninsula and said Ricardo went above and beyond. Highly recommend the chocolate lava cake. My only real complaint over the past several years is that the drinks by the pool are very sweet and as a whole I don’t like whatever mixers they are using - I tried many drinks but just couldn’t tolerate most. My go to is the margarita which is not overly sweet. If you go try to catch the turtle release which is always a special treat. Overall I would give it 4.5 stars but I’ll round up with the great service.

There were always available lounges (both beach and pools). Lovely music around the pools which was important to me (many resorts have very loud music - not this one). I can't say enough about the staff! Everyone from the maintenance folks to the front desk (Hola Randy!!!) offered smiles and went out of their way to make sure you had what you need. Very special mention to Marco, Zai, Pilar and Natali. Note that the ocean here is dangerous to get close to. I'm not an ocean swimmer and instead love the sound of the strong surf. Also saw many whales from my beach lounge. If I could make one suggestion it would be to have some live local music. I always appreciate a local cultural experience at a resort.

The hostess Mizt at Siempre is perfect for this position. She is gracious, always smiling, and makes you feel like family. Omar Oscar Gupar is a bartender extraordinaire! He sets up the entire bars at Peninsula and Semipre. Hundreds of bottles and beverages all perfectly arranged for the staff. Martin is an amazing waiter at the adult pool. He is constantly running to take care of drinks and food for 8 hours. He is always attentive to all requests and is simply amazing. Christian is also an incredible waiter at the party pool. Always on the move filling orders, super nice and perfectly dressed for formal wedding events.

• kimhY7013NM (4/5): PB-Pacifica: Expensive & Looking Old & Worn! - Our family recently returned from our stay at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa. We had one of the regular rooms - a bedroom/bathroom, with an oceanside view. For what we received at this over-priced, all-inclusive resort, our Deluxe Oceanview was definitely not upscale, nor furnished with quality materials. The photos the resort depicts of the bedroom and bathroom are from when the resort was first constructed and newly opened. Tecnically, they are still the same except think, "tired" and 20 years older. I did not expect a budget motel. Other than the glorious ocean view itself, the "Deluxe" rooms in themselves are certainly not luxurious by any means. Hopefully, you won't be spending much time in your room. I will say, however, that the resort was not lacking in friendly staff willing and available to assist in most ways to make our stay enjoyable. I say "most" ways because the food was seriously lacking, especially in vegetarian selections. When we asked the chef to make a chicken fajita without the chicken, or any other a-la carte dish for that matter without the meat, we could not be accommodated. If you are a vegetarian, expect to starve or pick out meat from every meal. If you go to some of the other sister resort restaurants: 1) you will need to make a dinner reservation; and 2) ask about the cover charge. For example: to go to Quivira Steakhouse, the cover is an extra US$60 per person to eat there. Some other restaurants are US$40/person or $30/person, so find out which restaurants & how much if this is a concern. I have no idea why Pacifica posts two sets of charges next to each menu item. Most items are all-inclusive. They will inform you when a menu item costs extra. For this reason as well as for tipping, it is always a good reason to carry some cash. Do not charge anything to your room! Again, there are some menu options that will cost extra, especially if you go to The MARKETPlace at Sunset Beach. That place can be a clusterF... with no direction as to what to do or how to do it. TO ORDER FOOD at the Marketplace at Sunset Beach: It is best to go on the app beforehand and peruse the menu of all the restaurants to have an idea of what's available & what you might want to eat. That is half the battle. You can get a better idea after you arrive. When you are ready to order, go up to that restaurant's cashier (or get in line), order and "pay" by scanning your all-inclusive bracelet. If that menu item is all-inclusive, that's all there is to it. The cashier will tell you if the menu item costs extra (like a shrimp salad), in which case you pay. The cashier will then give you a table number. Go find a table. Sit. A runner will deliver your food to that table number wherever you happen to be sitting. Someone will come around to take your drinks order while at Sunset Beach. It will take forever if you decide to stand up at the bar to get your drinks. In general, take plenty of cash because their hands are out for tips after every meal & every service, etc. If you happen to put a tip on your room charge, expect the amount to DOUBLE with unexplained taxes and fees. A simple $5 lunch tip turned into a $10 tip, no joke! On our pre-checkout bill, it listed a charity called Letty Coppel Foundation. Even though it explained we were under "no obligation" to make a donation, Pacifica added it to our final bill, anyway. When I asked them what the ambiguous charges were at checkout, all they could tell me was "city taxes." What I loved the most about Pacifica was the crash and crack of the rhythmic ocean waves - they were mesmerizing! Too bad it is not a swimmable beach. It doesn't help that there is a sewage-looking system directly at the waters edge with pipes leading into the ocean. One last thing: Do NOT order the room service pizza! It is honestly the worst on the planet. The dough tastes like I made it in my Easy-Bake Oven when I was 10-years old :) This is an honest review from an ordinary wife, mother, traveler at Pacifica. I do believe there are much better and more upscale, and luxurious resorts to choose from for the same, if not a better, price.
• Explore07309715891 (8/5): A tranquil haven - I loved the atmosphere—Pacifica was so relaxing and quiet. It was the perfect place to disconnect from everything and simply enjoy peaceful moments by the pool. Pacifica offers a variety of dining options across two Bonita resorts. Traveling to Rose wasn’t very convenient—it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get there, and the shuttle only runs once every hour. In contrast, getting to Sunset Resort was much easier and quieter, with shuttles available roughly every 10 minutes. Compared to other resorts, Pacifica felt exceptionally peaceful and serene, which I truly appreciated and enjoyed. • BellaHump (10/5): Best time at the best All Inclusive! - Just came back from celebrating my 50th birthday at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. It could not have gone better!! Hannia and Eduardo were the best butlers ever, constantly checking on us and making sure that we had everything that we needed no matter how big or small. They even added surprise balloons to my room for my birthday and surprised me with a birthday dessert! They made all shuttle arrangements and dinner reservations for us, which was a huge help too! The pool was beautiful and clean and the restaurants were awesome. Peninsula was wonderful and the service was great! We even saw fireworks while dining! Get a massage from Betty at the spa. The best massage EVER! All four of us got massages from different people and everyone said their massages were amazing!! This is a tranquil adults only place but still lively. BUT—Don’t expect a party atmosphere! Come to relax, unwind and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets and walks on the private beach! (Too dangerous to swim in- you’ll have to go to PB blanco or rose for that! But it’s a short 15 minute shuttle away!) The marina and yacht excursions etc. are just a short $18 taxi ride and I’ll take you 10-15 minutes to get there! Get butler service here! Book a tower room! It is definitely worth every penny!!! We saw whales in the area too! They even said it was early in the season and that we were lucky! At Quiviria dinner we even saw a shooting star! Well done, PB Pacifica! We will be back!! Give Hannia a high five and let her know she did a wonderful job!
• 475vidab (8/5): Great place to visit if you’re looking for a quiet resort experience - Had a good time at the Bonito Pacifica. No doubt the rooms are a little dated. Which I guess makes a big deal if you plan on staying in the room. As far as the rest of the resort, it is a very quiet atmosphere the food at the three restaurants is absolutely outstanding. We went over to the sunset Bonita, one of the sister hotels in the atmosphere was more of a party atmosphere, which is not what we were looking for not much to do around the resort, but if you’re looking for a nice quiet, relaxing all-inclusive adult vacation the Pacifica works just great. Would definitely go back .

If you are looking for an easy get away with the best service, Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is the perfect place. The staff here is amazing and truly treats all like family. If you get the honor to be served by Omar(bartender), Carlos(server) and/or Francisco(bartender), you will not forget your experience. These three went above and beyond their service, cannot thank them enough.
• Girly13662 (8/5): 2nd Time! - This is our second time we have stayed at Pacifica and we love it but we do have a few ‘complaints’ this time around. I am going to break down the review so it’s easy to jump to something of interest. None of the complaints however would deter us from going again. Transportation | The private option is the way to go. We didn't have to wait long upon arriving at the airport and it is always nice to go straight to the hotel and not have to make any additional stops. It’s a little pricey but totally worth it. Check In, Check Out | The process is pretty easy but they no longer offer the welcome drink for some reason. Right after you check in they direct you to the 2 ladies sitting at a nearby table. They offer you free stuff for your time to sit at a timeshare seminar, to which we politely declined and weren't bothered again. When we checked out however…I had a $150 spa credit which we used for a mani/pedi (it was less than the $150 but that was fine) but…they charged me for it so I had to remind them that I had the credit. It was taken off but then he reminded me of a resort credit I had as well so I needed to use that up before we left too which was great. Grounds | The hotel has very well kept grounds but when we arrived, there was a storm that had just passed through so it was in a bit of disarray. However, by the next morning, it looked as if nothing happened....(the halls and grounds had large puddles…I fell in the lobby our first day but I was fine). The hallways however ….maybe it was this time of year but the amount of dead bugs (some struggling to stay alive too) was outrageous. There needs to be someone on ‘bug patrol’. Also, people leaving their dirty dishes from room service outside is gross…..we noticed plates out there after breakfast and lunch and by lunch the NEXT DAY, the same plates were still outside. I think people should be told to keep dirty dishes inside their rooms or at least have a designated area on their balcony to put it. Also the elevators……yikes! They need to be completely renovated. They look so dingy inside (broken monitor, and just yucky) and the doors on the outside need to be cleaned. Room | The room is basic....we had an oceanview which was nice but I would prob get a regular room next time as the only difference is the view from the balcony. The room also is just ok....nothing fancy but it does seem to need a little tlc in spots (the floor looks dirty in some areas but it’s not) and our ceiling had 2 ‘slices’ in it (from a previous leak I assume that looked like it was about to happen again). The bed is a little on the firm side but it was fine. App & Shuttles | They encourage you to use the app and the improvement (which I suggested from last year) was to not have to get a ticket for the shuttles to and from Rose and now they just use the app when you book to board the shuttle....however....every time I made the booking, the reservation doesn't appear again until I got the reminder notification. Make sure you take a screen shot of it or save it to your wallet. They do the same for any dinner reservations you make....they never show up in the app after you book it...you have to remember what time you made it for (or maybe it was just my phone?). As for the shuttles themselves…..if it’s later in the evening, you seem to have to now ‘call’ for a shuttle from Sunset to Pacifica. There used to be someone there who did this for you but it was fine, except it must get annoying on the other end to have call after call asking for a shuttle for 2 people, then another call for 4 people etc…. Dining | There's only 3 here at Pacifica but other options throughout the sister hotels if you want. We tend to go over to Sunset the most as we felt their dining options were better but we did visit Cilantro’s 2x over at Blanco (next to Rose) and it was great…..the view and ambiance was fantastic. My fiancé however developed a bit of a tummy issue and we think it might have been due to the ice being used in his drinks. We made a note to not get ice next time we visit. Pool | The pool is great...we like the smaller quieter one and found it to be better than our last stay. Sometimes the pool service can be slow but I did mention it in a survey and the manager, Adam visited us during breakfast to express his gratitude in my review which was nice. On our last day there at breakfast he surprised us with a piece of cake which was wonderful. Shout outs | Luis at the front for shuttle service....wonderful and has THE BEST smile ever! Itzell who is the hostess at Siempre is always smiling and quick to bring you to your table. Our waiter Marcos was very attentive and great when we had him a few times at breakfast. And of course Adam....very grateful and thankful for my critique. Pros | Adults only, quiet pool, shuttles to sister hotels, and the service is great. Cons | Beds, elevators, dead bugs, room service dishes

They spoil you & will go above & beyond to make your stay enjoyable & memorable. The staff at the Siempre Restaurant on site was wonderful. Itzell (the hostess) always accommodated our requests and Florinda (one of our favorite servers) made each time we went there special. Florinda made sure we were always taken care of. Other servers we had the pleasure of dealing with were Javier, Luis & Ariel (Ariel has an amazing personality & had us laughing the day we arrived). The manager, Marco, came by our table to insure we were happy with the food & the service and advised us if we needed anything, just let them know. The front desk & housekeeping staff were top notch as well. We will definitely be coming back here in the near future!

• cherylaD4716XY (2/5): Disappointing Experience at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica - Our stay at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica was deeply disappointing, and I genuinely don't understand how this resort has received such high ratings. I'm not someone who typically complains, but from the moment we arrived, it felt more like a one-star property than a luxury resort. Upon check-in, we were met with a lackluster atmosphere. While some staff members were friendly, many appeared disinterested and unwelcoming. I had booked a Deluxe Oceanview room, but there was absolutely nothing deluxe about it. The space was extremely small, and the design was stark and uninviting—painted entirely in a flat cream tone that made it resemble a sterile, prison-like space. The floors felt gritty and unclean, as though sand had been left from a previous guest, and this was before we’d even unpacked. Given the cost of the stay, the quality of the room was unacceptable—it felt more like a budget motel than a high-end resort. I went to the front desk the following day to request a room upgrade, and while a one-bedroom suite was available, we had to pay an additional $420. We opted for the upgrade because staying three more nights in that cramped room was simply not an option. As for the "all-inclusive" aspect, this was the first resort we've visited where that term felt like a misrepresentation. The Pacifica property had only three dining options, and if you wanted steak, Italian cuisine, or a quality Mexican restaurant, you were directed to dine at their sister resorts—which required an additional charge. Even more frustrating was the concierge service, which was unhelpful at best. When I inquired about what was actually included, I was met with clear irritation. The concierge kept trying to push us toward the other (non-adults-only) properties, which defeated the purpose of booking an adults-only resort in the first place. The only halfway decent alternative was a “market” at Sunset Beach, which offered a variety of food options—but again, that required leaving our resort. The lack of atmosphere at Pacifica was also noticeable. There was no music, no entertainment, and nothing that gave the resort any energy or life. Additional disappointments: Premium liquor was not included—you had to pay extra, often at U.S. bar prices. The coffee and snack shop wasn’t covered under the all-inclusive plan. Activities such as mixology or cooking classes also came with an extra charge. There were no activities at all! We’re used to vacationing in Riviera Maya, where all-inclusive truly means everything is included, and the variety of restaurants, drinks, and activities is far more robust. Unfortunately, this was not the case at Pacifica. We were to receive a $90 credit at the resort from Expedia. We thought we could use it on a massage --- a 50 min massage was $220-$260 – even with the $90 that was just way too much. We did have a few top shelf drinks, so we figured the $90 would cover that. Upon checkout, they never gave us the credit so they had to void what they charged, and then redo it. However instead of NOT charging us at all because the credit should cover it, they ended up charging us instead of taking it off our bill. I didn’t notice until I saw it on my credit card. Lastly, the transportation to and from the airport was dreadful. While we anticipated a shared shuttle experience, we didn’t expect it to include six different stops and nearly two hours of bumpy roads. If you choose to stay here, I highly recommend investing in a private transfer—it’s worth it for the comfort and time saved. Another reviewer said RUN FOR THE HILLS! I should have listened.

My husband and I got married here last October and have nothing but the most incredible things to say! My wedding planner , Sandra, went above and beyond for us and our wedding experience. From the wedding night to the little details, everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel was great for all of our guests and everyone couldn’t help but rave about the overall experience. Would recommend Sandra, Pueblo Bonito and the experience as a whole 100%!!

No loud music bumping by the pool , there is music but turned low so you can hear the ocean waves. You can’t swim on this beach, but the poos law up for that. Excellent non watered down drinks ( they strong) with top shelf options. The service is amazing as they fall all over you to make sure you have a great experience. The food , best all inclusive we’ve ever had. Rooms are ok , beds well .. the resort could spend some money to update the beds, the furniture, the lounge chairs we never had to reserve a lounge chair in the morning. The resort doesn’t really like you to do that as they’re saying so plenty of resort chairs to pick from.. Had a couple small problems we couldn’t get into our room one day called the front desk and they were there within five minutes to change the batteries in our door. It’s a beautiful, beautiful resort. If you wanna go to have lots of relaxation. This is the place for you. Of course other guests were there and It was fun to talk and connect with and have a drink with in the pool. But this is definitely not a party place. We would go back

The resort and setting was beautiful, but the service was the real gem. We have stayed at Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, but the service level here is beyond. We had great experiences at every restaurant, at arrival, at the pool, at the bar - everywhere. But Yoana in the VIP lounge was spectacular. She made us feel so important. She was incredibly attentive, knew us when we walked in. She exceeded any expectation we had. The sommelier, Armando, was amazing - he created an entire unique experience just with the wine. Every server was totally on point. Gabriel and Dulce were our concierge butlers. They handled everything, so we did not have to lift a finger. It was a great experience. I cannot say enough nice things.

This trip was especially memorable because he proposed during our stay, and we felt celebrated every moment. The team at Siempre went above and beyond: Pilar, Ana, Flora, Gabriel, Carlos, and the manager Marco greeted us with warmth and excitement each morning. They remembered us, shared stories, and even surprised us with cake and mango tequila shots to celebrate our engagement. Truly some of the most hospitable people we’ve ever met. The pools were perfect for relaxing, with attentive service throughout the day. We especially enjoyed the afternoon volleyball games by the poolside bar with Manuel. It quickly became a highlight of our stay. For an all-inclusive resort, we found the food excellent across the board! Our room overlooked both the pool and ocean, and housekeeping kept it spotless while making sure we always had plenty of water, Coca-Cola, and beer stocked. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to Pueblo Bonito Pacifica!

The food across the resort’s restaurant leaves little to be desired. Absolutely subpar compared to other all inclusives. The breakfast buffet is one of the saddest I’ve ever seen. If motel 6 had a breakfast buffet if would be better. Service overall is lacking. There is zero attention to detail. A couple of the servers work really hard. The one shining star was Manuel who worked by the pool. The resort has sister resorts with shuttles in between. Except they we had to wait for 45 minutes for a shuttle from Sunset to Pacifica. We would have gladly paid for an uber. Except the resort doesn’t allow uber pickups. Another way of them controlling their guests. Run for the hills. This place is expensive as hell and provides zero value for the money spent. We will never come back or consider a resort from this brand.

We've been traveling and guests want to feel welcome. We arrived at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica early and their internet was down (not a problem it happens to everyone) But we were quickly "pushed" to the time share presentation. We agreed and received a $400.00 hotel voucher to use... it was ok but had lots of fine print and rules to follow. Next, the property requests a $700.00 deposit for incidentals??? seemed extreme especially for an all-inclusive resort. We spoke with a female manager and agreed to a $400.00 deposit. The Asian restaurant was more of a snack bar, good food, but absolutely no ambiance. The Pacifica is more of a morgue. We spent most of our time at the Bonito Sunset. The rooftop pool is spectacular! Outstanding views of the Pacific and great bar service. Overall, the price I paid for a tower room plus butler service was a total waste of money. Our butler was helpful, but not worth the extra expense. Great employees, lousy management, (not even eye contact or a Hello when passing through, Got the feeling of Next, we'll never see you again)

Do not get sucked into the tour of the next property. High-pressure sales tactics. Ruined our morning. Even if they offer you discounts on events do not do this tour. We ended up doing it and the events we wanted to do were booked and we had already paid for them. It was wasted two hours of our morning. We were not going to buy into a timeshare and the individual who was trying to sell it to us was extremely angry. Very shady. The pool area was amazing. But there was a black flag warning, and we were unable to go into the water due to the dangerous of the waves. I was told by multiple people that is an ongoing situation and you cannot swim in the ocean at this resort for safety reasons. We feel very safe at this resort as three females traveling for fun.

Suites perfect for adult families. Beds comfortable. Pull out sofa very comfortable and just like a bed. So many delicious options for meals. Lots of options for gluten free too. Fun events in the swim up bar. Definitely suggest getting a butler. Ismael did an outstanding job! They can make all your reservations for you. Amazing way to ring in the new year. They had a great NYE party. Get tickets, it was worth it. Saw whales daily. Book the beds on the beach ahead of time. The spa was the best!!! Highly recommend the tequila tasting. Cooking class was fun. Shuttles readily available. Watched college football playoffs in the pool. Fire pit on the beach. Off shore fishing excursion.. Caught striped Marlin. Such a great time!! Definitely recommend! Only thing that was disappointing was that you had to get up so early to get a chair by the pool. The resort really needs to work on an app to sign up for a chair the day before.

The food was good and the drinks were also pretty good. We had the best drinks at the Peninsula Beach bar, Huge shoutout to Oscar who we dubbed the best bar tender in the whole resort. Oscar made the best drinks! Would also like to send a shout out to Jesus Mayo (the life guard), he was really helpful and friendly and also had some good stories! The service was also really good all around but, we really enjoyed the service from Ana at "Siempre", we had the pleasure of being her customers a few times and she was the best! The only thing we thought was a little outdated were the rooms but, other than that we had an amazing stay!

The ocean is beautiful. The food is the best of any all inclusive I’ve experienced. The staff are lovely and kind. Is it perfect? No. Is it a great deal? Yes. Tips: stay in the towers for the butler service and VIP lounge. Don’t splurge on a plunge pool, it’s small and dark and will cause you to lose a room with a view. Hit the pools early in the day if you like peace and tranquility or in the afternoon if you prefer a party vibe. Work out at the gym. Seriously, it has the best view of the ocean. Avoid any and all mention of timeshares. Things I wish were different: rooms are dated and poor attention to small details like the calking in the bathroom and paint where painter’s tape should have been used. No bathtubs. Afternoons are noisy with unnecessary pool trivia broadcast on loudspeakers that just killed the relaxing vibe. Little luxuries, like a welcome drink or hand towels at checkin are absent. Upcharges for premium meals at the restaurant are exorbitant and unjustified. Things I love: tacos at the pool, friendly service, long walks on a secluded beach at sunset. Butler service is available by texting and responsive to all requests. I’ll be back.

• Passenger744434 (10/5): Pacifica is a relaxing oasis! - This Pueblo Bonito property, Pacifica, is absolutely wonderful. I went with a girlfriend and we visited a few of the other resorts. The other resorts, we saw Sunset and Rose, are nice and fun but much more of a party vibe. If you want a relaxing trip, with plenty of pool chairs and space to swim, and lovely staff, this is your place! You can get access to the other resorts as well if you want a more busy day, but return to your calm resort. Great for couples. The Siempre Sunday breakfast is amazing and Pescados has great sushi. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfy. Ana is a great server. Omar is a great bartender. Erick was attentive at the pool. Israel was our awesome butler. One of the few cons is that it is harder to get a shuttle from this resort to the others. You can do it but it takes a little planning and sometimes you’re waiting for a bit.
• dxander (10/5): Beyond Expectations - There may be higher end or more exclusive resorts in the area, but the employees at this hotel make this a resort we will return to again and again. From the moment you walk in to the resort the front desk staff is welcoming and friendly. Breakfast began with Itzell’s smiling face and the super team of servers Florinda and Ana. Service at the pool was Zai , who no matter how busy he was, always checked in on us. On a day when Florinda was on her lunch break, Gabriel and his super smile took great care of us. Go visit Ofelia at the sports bar. She is a long time employee of the resort. Our favorite restaurant was Peninsula. Our host, Luis who checked us in and our server, Alfonso made dining a special experience. The toasted s’more old fashioned is memorable. If you have a chance to do the tequila tasting with Armando, don’t miss it. He is a wealth of knowledge and made me want to learn more about the history and culture of tequila and mezcal. Of course, the restaurant/hospitality amazing staff is a reflection of their manager, Ciro. We were fortunate to meet and interact with him daily. We can’t wait to return.
• V6986KKthomasg (10/5): Best and most friendly service - Excellent service at Siempre Restaurant from Ana Itzell and Florinda Javier and at Pescados Restaurant for two dinners from Ariel. All so friendly while eating great food.

I love how caring and attentive they ahve been our whole trip! They felt like yhey were family and helped us whenever we needed anything
• T2346MYjoshuag (10/5): Best bars I’ve been to - The staff was nice and always caring and so kind and Ofelia was the greatest the bar tender she talked with us and listened to our stories and made us feel like we were talking to a friend while making the best drinks I could have asked for. She is a star ⭐️
