• gardenbear (8/5): Pretty Good! - Check in was fast and easy and not intrusive regarding coronavirus. Rooms were clean well appointed. All amenities you could expect like robe, safe, toiletries ,notebook computer, etc. The only complaint was with the TV. Almost all the channels were in Korean. For English channels, it said on the screen that you had to pay extra.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - 8連泊しました。本来なら【大満足】なのですが、清掃に関しては少し残念だったのでこの評価です。チェックインした初日はまったく問題ありませんでしたが、連泊した際に何度か清掃を希望した際に清掃員さんによって当たりハズレが‥‥。ゴミは片付けてくれていましたが、歯ブラシ類やタオルが補充されておらず、使用済のバスタオルが床に残ったままで唖然としました。使用した備え付けのティースプーンも汚れたまま元の位置に戻されてたり。文化の違いなのか、リネンの補充は有料なのか、慌ててフロントに尋ねるとフロントの方がわざわざ部屋までリネンを持ってきてくださりました。(清掃員さんがたまたま補充し忘れていたのでしょうか‥‥？) お部屋、立地、値段は大満足です。部屋は広くて、ベッドも大きく、シャワーの温度、水圧もちょうどいい。なにより浴槽があるのが助かりました。テレビのチャンネル数も多くて退屈しませんでした。備え付けのPCがあり、調べ物したり音楽を聴いたりするにはたいへんよかった。立地は江南駅から徒歩5分ほどなのに夜は静かでよく眠れました。コンビニもすぐ近くにあります。フロントの方も親切でした。清掃に関しては残念でしたが、不衛生っていうわけではなかった。むしろ満足した点が多かったのでこの評価にしました。また江南に来た際はぜひリピートしたいです。

• s. (10/5): - 空室があったようで、グレードアップしていただきました。 湯船は室内にありますが使用しなかったので特に問題はありませんでした。シャワートイレは別でとても良かったです。 すりガラスがグラデーションになっており、足元の方は殆どすりガラスではなくガラスです。 数人で宿泊する場合はシャワートイレの扉は気になるかもしれません。 フロントの方は日本語は話せませんがとても親切でした。英語は話せるみたいでした。 夜も特に騒音はせず、駅からも近く、ご飯も近くに何でもありますのでリピート確定です。

• Whoopie89 (6/5): Good location, nice decoration - Spent two nights at the Soulhada in June, when we booked last-minute. The hotel is very good situated in Gangnam, a really pleasant district in Seoul. You just have to walk some minutes to get to two metro stations and the busses to the airport are close as well. The hotel itself is very stylish, the design of the rooms very modern and elegant. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet, even if the hotel is not far away from a big street. The bathroom/ toilet were not clean enough for my taste (that's why I only give three points) so I called the reception and they send somebody up to fix the problem immediately. We didn't have breakfast. There are a lot of coffee shops and restaurants around.

(10/5): Great hotel close to Gangnam Station - I was actually a bit surprised I could find a hotel this nice for at such rates, the rooms are really large and everything is stylish an comfortable. The bathroom is really great (with self washing toilets that i have grown to love). The staff was friendly and borrowed us umbrellas when we needed.

• pym (6/5): a bit disappointed - Stayed 4 nights in May in a room with balcony. Hotel is located in a small street close to subway. Staff is very polite and efficient but their english is poor. The room was beautiful but not cleanand on the small side for a "premier" room; Bathroom was very nice. Bed was comfy . Please be careful with cleanliness of the room (hairs,dust....)

• Verified traveler (10/5): - 江南駅から徒歩5分もしないので、立地は最高です。 近くにコンビニ、たくさんのレストランもあります。 江南駅周辺の路面店でのショッピングも楽しいです。 ホテルの部屋はモダンかつ清潔でお洒落。私が利用した部屋はノートパソコンもありました。日本人はお風呂に入る習慣があるので、リーズナブルなのにバスタブがあるのは嬉しいです。1月だったので寒さが心配でしたが部屋はとても暖かく、薄着で過ごしていました。日本より暖かいなと感じたほど。 掃除のおばちゃんは感じが良い人で、お母さんみたいでした笑 駅三駅までも徒歩3分くらいなので、 三成駅まで二駅。COEX直結の免税店(現代百貨店免税店)は11/1にオープンしたばかりでいろんなキャンペーンをやっていてお得に買い物ができました。 明洞のような人混みが苦手な人は三成駅での買い物のほうが断然良いと思いました。 行きはタクシーを使いましたが、帰りは初めてバスを利用しました。 バス乗り場も江南駅のすぐそばにあり簡単に辿り着けたので、行きもバスを利用すればよかったなと思いました。 次の韓国の予定も決まっているので、また予約しました。

• Verified traveler (2/5): - First of all, the twin room doesn’t have a bathroom door and the shower and toilet are see through so if you are staying with your friend, it’s pretty awkward. The bathtub is nice they need to put a bathroom door. When my friend used a face towel after washing her face, she found a pile of hair inside the towel and screamed. Other pieces of hair were found on a bed, and in a shower room. We were pretty disgusted with the cleanness and it’s very disappointing since the property is renovated and seems new. The staffs are very polite so they just need to make sure housekeeping is thorough.

• FMA789 (8/5): Great choice for a solo traveller like me - Location is terrific right between the Yeoksam and Gangnam stations. The subway is fantastic for getting around. Download the “KakaoMetro” app - easy English directions for the different subway lines and gates to exit. Buy and load the metro card at any station. One way travel is about 1250 won ($1.25 us). Also taxi’s are reasonable but drivers don’t always know English - show them google map in Korean. The single standard room had a queen sized bed, good a/c, lots of toiletries (toothbrush & paste, comb, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash). A laptop for use and a plug in for North American electronics without the need for an adapter. The room was very clean & comfortable. Housekeeping only came in when I was out & taken the pass key out of the slot in the room that keeps the lights on and gives them a “do not disturb message” when it’s in. Once you remove the card it changes to “do up room” until it has been done then there is no message. As others have mentioned, the bathroom set up doesn’t lend itself to personal privacy. The frosted glass swing door for the toilet is the same as many shower doors. The soaker tub has no door whatsoever. The lay out is best for a solo traveller, uninhibited couples or maybe a couple of guy friends travelling together (used to open shower rooms etc). The 6020 bus is 16000 won from Inchon Airport and stops just past Gangnam subway station in front of Samsung building - walk north two blocks until you see Seven Springs restaurant and Hotel Soulhada is down the side street behind the restaurant. The bus ride is about an hour. The same bus stops directly across the street from the arriving stop for departing to Inchon. The only inconvenience is the lack of closet or drawers to unpack. There is a 1/2 cupboard where the safe is with 3 hangers. I just folded and piled all my clothes in there on top of the safe. I tucked my suitcase in behind the chair. It wasn’t a big deal. Seoul is the safest city I have ever travelled to. I often walked back from my son’s condo late at night. There just isn’t any crime here. I have been very happy with my stay and would certainly recommend the Hotel Soulhada.

• Hioki (8/5): 静かで落ち着いたホテル - 江南駅から少し歩くけど、静かで快適なホテルです。スタッフさんも丁寧で落ち着いていて良かった。部屋も快適。部屋に備え付けのPCもあったけど、OSがハングルだったので使えなかった、、、 あと、館内全面禁煙という点を見落としていて、都度外に出なくてはいけなかったのが難点。まあ、これは自分のミスですけど。

• jjuliee1 (8/5): A comfortable stay at a great location - First and foremost, the location of this hotel is super convenient. There are convenient stores nearby and its close to bus stops and subway stations (Gangnam Station Exit 1 or Yeoksam Station Exit 3). You can walk right over to the heart of Gangnam where you can shop, eat, watch a movie, hangout at a cafe or bar etc etc. The room I was given was decently clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. You're provided with a robe, toothbrushes and tooth paste, face wash, razor, a comb, towels and a hair dryer. The only negative thing about our room was that the bathroom was in an open space. It seems the room was designed more for a couple than for two friends; You don't get much privacy.

"Suite" is just a room with no desk - A 4 night stay for business meetings: PROS Location, Location location Staff were helpful Bathtub was great size Wifi good CONS Rooms were basic Dust and filth in all the corners and behind doors Windows filthy (how hard is it clean windows on the 3rd floor ??) Tiled floors noisy for the people in the room below I had requested a suite thinking I would have more space, but on arrival the "suite" was just a basic room size with no desk. I was moved to a larger room with a desk, but hotel refused to adjust the bill because of the reduction from "suite" to normal room. Plastic sheet on the mattress under the sheet - sweated all night until i realised why and ripped it off. I was expecting more ...
• camilla (8/5): Nice boutique hotel with great location - The hotel is nice and clean, the room is relatively big and has all the services you might need. The staff is very nice although English leve is not so high. Only negative comment is that they serve breakfast until 9am and in my opinion is way to early.
• brandonnatravel (10/5): Amazing deal in the heart of Gangnam - Every time I come to Seoul, I continue to get blown away at some of the great finds. And beyond the incredible airport, I check into what might be a bad surprise, but instead is an incredibly satisfying experience without even sleeping one night. Yes, the bed isn’t the most plush cloud of happiness and there a tiny bit of noise throughout the day because it isn’t perfectly sound proof, but beyond that, I haven’t gotten this much value and pleasure from a $78/night room that I can remember. The whole room is a renovated yogwan, but improved to the max. Check out the picture I’ll upload and you’ll see. Large bathroom with shower pressure better than an massage shower head with a bidet. A laptop comes complimentary to use and all the other regular amenities including a safe and all the other conveniences. If you’re coming from the states, it has a built in power outlet for you not to have to worry about adaptors. And the convenience is amazing. Too easy to get to most places. It’s not right off a subway stop, but if it had all of this and was, I can’t imagine it being $78/night. I might pay more and I hesitated to even share because I want this little secret to be mine. I did find one towel to be accidentally left with the biggest hairball I’ve ever seen in my life, but I forgive these guys be used in the walk out for breakfast, they cleaned my room (without me asking and just hanging up the “clean my room” indicator) perfectly.

• stephen (6/5): 交通方便但住宿品質有待加強的飯店 - 本來想說重新裝潢應該是可以有高期待的飯店，入住後發現房間地板無緣無故會發出嘎之嘎之的聲音，可能是剛裝修好，衛浴設備不錯，淋浴間跟廁所分開而且浴缸很漂亮，不過白色的毛巾都洗到有點發黑，感覺很不舒，床罩組應該是被之前客人弄得很髒，感覺有努力清洗，但是看到那些漬⋯房間缺乏各細項說明，例如保險箱 廁所時間到會熄燈⋯⋯早餐種類不超過5樣，沒甚麼選擇性，最棒的應該還是客服人員，整體態度都還不錯啦

• konako (6/5): リネンを交換していない - 立地最高のコンパクトホテル。 江南駅への最短ルート上にエレベーターがある。 バリアフリー化の進んでいない韓国では、駅によっては重いスーツケースを抱えながら階段を利用しなければいけない駅もあるのでこれは便利。 またタクシー移動せずとも様々な人気飲食店が徒歩圏内にある、文句のない立地だ。 しかし、部屋については最悪。 2時間のアーリーチェックインをさせてもらったまではよかったが 一息つこうとベッドに寝転ぶとリネン類がとても汚かった。 シーツや布団カバー等リネン類には前の客の髪の毛や皮膚片？何か老廃物が付着しておりいっきに気持ち悪くなった。 コロコロもせずベッドメイクをしてぱっと見だけ整えている様子。 3泊して最後の晩にシーツは変えられていたが、掛け布団はずっと変えていなかった。 床にも髪の毛がたくさん落ちていたし、今まで泊まったソウルのホテルの中で一番不潔だった。 部屋にあるスリッパも汚れていそうだったので利用せず。 白を基調としたシンプルでスタイリッシュな内装なので、 余計にゴミが目立っていた。 便利な場所にあるが、もう二度と利用しないと思う。

• JAPA (4/5): 江南駅に近く便利 - タオルが非常に汚く、汚れや、髪の毛が挟まっていた。初日に交換をお願いしたらまた汚いタオル。２日目のタオルも汚く、塩素の匂いが強い。気にされない方はいいと思うが、直に身体に触れるものなので、気持ちが悪かった。
• Mark (10/5): 강남 번화가에서 가깝고 찾기 쉬움 - 너무 늦게 체크인해서 잠만 잤지만, 객실에 노트북도 있고 객실 상태도 매우 청결하며, 직원들의 서비스도 매우 좋았습니다.
• PMWJFW (6/5): Maybe aimed at single businessmen! - I was disappointed by this hotel, which is really not great for families. The main issue is that there is no bathroom door, so there is no privacy between the toilet or shower and the bedroom itself. Even for couples, this is not ideal. For a family, or us with an adult daughter, it took some organisation. There was also nowhere to put towels, or hang anything in the bathroom. There is also no storage space except for hanging clothes, and nowhere to hang coats or store suitcases. A laptop was provided however, and it was clean and modern. Breakfast was available, but basic. At is easy to find not far from Gangnam metro, but there are better places for tourists to stay.
• Doug (10/5): Good Location. - Seung-wo (Sean) was manager on-site during most of our stay and would jump to provide any information or help. Hotel was clean. Restaurant served modest breakfast. Lounge/bar was not open for lunch/dinner or drinks.

Small hotel in Seoul typically wouldn't offer disposable slippers so you may want to bring your own. Towels and room condition seemed to be a bit old given the hotel was supposed to be newly built in 2016.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Good enough - The location of this hotel is great. Right between 2 subway stations and near a few bus stops. The employees were helpful. The breakfast was very good (especially the coffee!). The bad: the rooftop lounge was literally just a bunch of chairs on the rooftop (no bar, no water feature even though it is pictured) it was nice but disappointing, the restaurant/bar wasn't open when we went down at 1830 on a Saturday night, and the pillows were horrible. I admit that the pillows are a personal preference, but the lounge and bar/restaurant were disappointing. Overall, we don't regret staying here, but likely won't return with all of the options in the area.
• Bill (8/5): Well Located but Hard to Find - We truly enjoyed the contemporary vibe of this hotel, particularly the room interiors which project a very modern attitude in what is likely an older building. Taxi drivers have a difficult time finding this hotel if they are not familiar with its location. We took a taxi from Seoul station and another one from Yongsan station and both drivers had a hard time finding the hotel, even after we provided them with the address. The hotel staff was very friendly with a good understanding of our English language requests. We gave the facilities a 3 rating because the roof top lounge was not much and certainly not a functioning "lounge" with any services available. Our top tip for food dining is a delightful steak and pasta restaurant just a short walk across the main boulevard called "With the Spoon." We discovered it on our last night in Seoul and it was perfect. An upstairs location with views of the busy streetscape, but quiet and with a wonderful staff. The food was exceptional and the piano bar atmosphere perfect for the end of a long ay.
