Fantastically fr - The property was beautiful and in a prime central location, an easy walk to all the town centre conveniences and a short walk from the beach via the steep steps. The staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. A continental style breakfast was included and was delicious, with fresh fruits, omelet and salad available, not to mention the delicious sweet treats. The only minor downside was the street works going on outside our room, but even these were minor inconveniences given they only occurred mon-thurs and didn’t start until around 0800.

- AGNIESZKA (9/5): - I enjoyed staying at Le due Sicilie, in the heart of Tropea old town. Room was quite with one window on a small street. Good breakfast including ham, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, yogurt and fruits, freshly made coffee- all served on a beautiful terrace. The owner was kind and supportive. Earlier check in, before lunch time was possible. I will definitely come back!

Find parking for free in between white lines, have to pay for blue. Worked for us to pull up to limited drive zone and drop bags w me while husband parked. A lot closer to carry bags. Fresh cappuccino and continental breakfast was great way to start day. Albins restaurant was best food while there. Lasagna 10/10. For gelato go to Donna Maria Gelateria, on a side street and can be easily overlooked.

- William (10/5): Magnificent - Ferdinando was an exemplary host. He is a credit to the property. Tropea has pedestrian walkways that supercede vehicle access. My GPS had me going in circles for 45 minutes. In frustration, I called Ferdinando explaining my predicament. He asked for my bearings. He said "wait there, I will come get you." Five minutes later, he arrived prompting me to drive down road I'd thought were forbidden. He consistently provided this level of service.

Quiero hacer una mención especial a la hospitalidad de Ferdinando, siempre atento y dispuesto a ayudar, así como al equipo que servía el desayuno, que cada mañana nos recibía con amabilidad y una gran sonrisa. - Gintaras (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional place to stay in Tropea, authentic Palazzo creates pleasant atmosphere as well as delicate incorporation of modern facilities arranges guests comfort. Seasonal vegies, fruits and pastries are served for breakfast every morning, and my favourite freshly made omelette with zucchini ... Enjoying cup of coffee or tea in a cozy terrace facing old town made our stay even more special.

Posezení na terase hotelu i dlouho do noci je milý bonus včetně možnosti si zakoupit třeba lahvinku prossecca a kochat se nočním městečkem. nemám ráda příliš měkké matrace a přidala bych nějakou deku na pokoj pro chladnější měsíce

The tasteful breakfastl was served on the terrasse of the old, beautiful building. Easy check in and check out. Definitely coming again!

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, the location is excellent only about a 10minute walk to the beach and very close to many nice restaurants. Breakfast on the terrace is lovely, good selection of pastries, cheese, deli meats, yogurt and fruits. Overall we would highly recommend staying here to anyone. Just to note, the mini fridge in the room wasn’t very cold, so it may not be ideal if you’re planning to store food or drinks. We were told upon booking that we could also use the fridge in the breakfast area, which is a good alternative. We didn’t end up needing it, but if a working mini fridge is important to you, it’s something to keep in mind.

- Stacie (9/5): Traditional B&B with lovely staff and a beautiful breakfast. - The breakfasts we had at Le Due Sicilie are some of our favorite memories from our 3 week trip. The food is simple, but plentiful and there's quite a lot of variety. You can have sweet pastries, cheeses and meats, sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, cereal, granola, juice... and of course, a freshly made espresso or cappuccino. Their magical terrace is a peaceful oasis with a lovely view of the alleys and rooftops of Tropea. The staff were incredibly warm and generous (and incredibly patient with my Italian,which I've been working on for years, but is mediocre at best) and helped us when we had an unfortunate minor theft on our way there. Le Due Sicilie is not a super high priced hotel, but it was a bit of a splurge for us, as we are budget travelers and had to make last minute arrangements. We got the impression it used to be a bustling place but that business has slowed- if I had to guess based on the condition of the rooms, right around the time airbnb took off in the area. For that reason, I find it difficult to critique, but I would want an honest review so I will say that the room was a bit shabby and worn and the bathroom a little bit outdated. There was nothing serious, just some peeling wallpaper or paint, juanty beds, caulking that could be replaced in the bathroom, floors that needed a deep clean and a mini fridge past its prime. It is not a luxurious setting though the building itself is grand, but it is a true Italian Bed & Breakfast with traditional hospitality, which are harder and harder to come by. If you've had difficulty finding that, this is the place.
- Antonio (2/5): - Il ragazzo che lavora alla reception educatissimo. La posizione vicina alla movida notturna. Ma sono state le uniche cose. Proprietario maleducato due giorni consecutivi la colazione è stata ritardata di 30 minuti. Ho dovuto fare la colazione al bar 20 euro. Ho riportato il tutto al proprietario mi ha detto che avendo prenotato 2 adulti e nn avendo avvisato che avevamo un neonato ( cosa che nn serve per la prenotazione visto che sotto 3 anni nn pagano e che nn mi serviva nessun letto extra o culla) eravamo pari . Che risposta . Cmq stanza in un vicolo , nessuna finestra in bagno. Unica finestra in stanza affacciava difronte ad un balconcino distante 1 metro. Vabbè per quello che serve andava pure bene. Prodotti in bagno assenti quando nei servizi erano inclusi. Da evitare sicuramente non ci tornerò.

- Jacek (9/5): Wygodny i komfortowy punkt do eksploracji centrum Tropei. - Duży, przestronny pokój z wygodnym łóżkiem. Przemiłe śniadanie na tarasie z widokiem na serce centrum miasta. Lokalizacja idealna do pieszej eksploracji. Bardzo czysto w pokoju. W nadzym pokoju nie działała lodówka. Wifi było bardzo słabe. Przed przybyciem należy uwzględnić że ceną za lokalizację w historycznym centrum jest brak możliwości podjechania pod obiekt samochodem.

- Tomasz (10/5): Polecam serdecznie ! - Bardzo miły personel, doskonała lokalizacja, super taras na którym można zjeść śniadania i posiedzieć wieczorem. Śniadania smaczne produkty jakościowe. Mogliśmy zostawić bagaże po wymeldowaniu. Bardziej przemyślane szafy, gdyż ciężko było się rozpakować.

- Samantha (10/5): - Had an amazing experience at Residenze Le Due Sicilie for my stay in Tropea. Location is excellent; right in the heart of the historic center and steps from the beach, dining, and shopping. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone visiting Tropea.
- Roman (10/5): Place to return to in Tropea! - We really liked our stay in such amazing place, tasty breakfasts and coffee as everything was top notch, lots of advices and suggestions on the town from Ferdinando and his team and even ability to practice our Italian a bit :) The room was a bit smaller than we’ve expected, but we mostly spent time outside so it was not a major issue. And important positive factor was that daily cleaning was of highest quality
- Ivan (9/5): Superb - The location is great, right in the center of Tropea's historic town, and close to the beach (beware to reach the beach you'll need to walk down some steps). The staff were very friendly and prepared fresh breakfast every morning. The room is a decent size with soundproof windows. Overall great stay. Nothing major. The bed was on the softer side, but that is up to personal preference

- Billy (10/5): G - Fantastic location near all the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Also very close to the amazing beaches in Tropea. The room was a good size offering all you need for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and provided lots of information regarding points of interest and places to eat. The breakfast was very good offering; breads, cheeses, mates, pastries, yogurts, coffee amongst others. Overall a very pleasant stay, we would visit again if we returned.
- Rianne (10/5): Kind and welcoming staff and a beautiful hotel - Everything about the stay felt personal and welcoming. Ferdinando instantly made me feel at home in Tropea, and took the time to get to know his guests. The location was exceptional, less than 2 minutes walk to the main street and panoramic balcony. The air conditioning was excellent also which was very welcome in the June heat. The terrace for breakfast and drinks was such a good vibe, with lovely food (pistachio croissant and the cipolla rossa tart especially) recommendations, water and prosecco, nothing was too much of an ask. Thank you very much, Ferdinando and Le Du Sicile staff!
