• Luke (9/5): Beautiful and Unique - Beautiful guesthouse with farmstay elements. We're a family of 6 and stayed in the large apartment with the loft. The kids loved it. We ate dinner in the restaurant which provided nice traditional food. The kids had a ride on the miniature horses there and fed the farm animals in the morning with the staff. We only stayed one night, wished it could have been more. Excellent playground for the kids. Location is stunning. There are some reviews saying it is old and run down, but that is not entirely accurate. It is an older guesthouse so don't go there expecting brand new buildings. Some of the decor is a bit older but everything works. The place has character, is family owned and run and we were comfortable. Perfect for traveling as a family. The double bed for the adults was very soft, too soft for our comfort. However the other single beds and couch sofa beds were great. Those items are personal preference though.

• Laura (10/5): Fantástico día entre montañas - Las instalaciones estaban muy bien, limpias y ordenadas. La ubicación a pesar de no ser céntrico y estar un poco alejado de innsbruck ha sido impresionante. De los mejores lugares que hemos estado en nuestra vida. Lo mejor sin duda el trato que han tenido con nosotros. La gerente un encanto de mujer y el resto de empleados súper amables y atentos.

There are adorable farm animals right downstairs and the restaurant has incredible food. I think our favourite part about this stay was actually the people who were so so sweet and the family history behind the establishment made it extra special. It was really great value for money and we would absolutely love to stay here again in the future.

• John (9/5): Fantastic scenery - The scenery around the inn is fantastic, it just took a bit to find it in the first place. If you find the 401 bus from the train station to the nearby hospital it's a nice walk through the countryside to find the inn. The place itself reminds me of the inn from White Christmas and I bet it's fantastic in the snow. The food is all home cooked and they serve some great traditional dishes. The only minor downside is that the bathroom could do with updating, but it didn't take anything away from a great stay.

The food and service in the restaurant was excellent and, although it is tucked away from city noise and lights of Innsbruck, it is a very easy and short drive into the city. And the views of the Alps from your room are fantastic.

• Michael (8/5): Animals, Alps & Atmosphere - Spent just one night while touring the area. Woke up to cows outside our window and a magnificient view of a valley and mountains. Room was suitable for a working farm and had a very comfortable bed. All and all very interesting stay. Would recommend - but do your due diligence as it is sort of peculiar in a special way. Can be l little hard to find - our car's GPS didn't get us there first time.

• Patrick (9/5): A beautiful and charming property - The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff couldn't be any kinder. A gorgeous respite just outside of the city, but you feel many miles removed. Having a wonderful restaurant for dinner, was an added bonus for sure, so there was no need to travel anywhere. If we're in this area in the future, we'll definitely try to stay here again.

• Jana (10/5): Lovely place with friendly owner. - Lovely place with fantastic view, room was perfectly clean and large, there was also big space for our two dogs, really very comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helped us with everything what we needed. Breakfast was perfect. I love this place a lot and I definitely will be back to stay there for a longer time.

The restaurant downstairs has good food and nice staff. WARNING: The owner is a con artist. She kept trying to charge us a second time. She was frustrating to deal with and did not seem to understand that we booked online and paid in advance. She also tried to make up extra charges. We had to argue with her that we only owed the city tax and nothing extra. She kept insisting we give her our credit card. We even called Hotels.com to help explain things to her. We paid the city tax in cash and never gave her our credit card information.

• Floris (3/5): Disappointed, don't expect much from this commercial place - Location was good, just outside of Innsbruck, although if you don't have car it's a bit of an adventure to get there. We expected to stay at a nice warm family hotel, but this was certainly not the case. First of all, the breakfast is not worth it. They charge 8 pp for just some jams in plastic, coffee and 4 pieces of bread for two. For some slices of cheese they charged us 4 euros extra. The worst we had in all of Austria for the most money. We also had dinner in the restaurant, where we were scammed. The waitress offered us to try some schnapps, and kept insisting after we thanked politely. Eventually they charged us 20 extra for these couple shots. Room was very basic. Some lights were not working, shower head was broken. There was no cleaning done, and our towels were taken. When we asked about this, they told us to just go get new ones ourselves from some drawer.

• Jessica (10/5): Idyllic place with great view - We stayed a night here and enjoyed ourselves very much. The room was spacious and clean with big windows to enjoy the view. The service at the restaurant was outstanding and the food was simply delicious. Would definitely come back here. We didn't have a rental car coming here and while it's not necessary to get to this place, it may just be more convenient, especially if it's raining or snowing outside. That being said, we walked down to town to catch the local bus and absolutely enjoyed the walk and the views!!
• Bruce (10/5): Rural mountain getaway - Up in the mountains above Innsbruck. 20 minutes by tram and a beautiful ride. I walked about 20 minutes to the place, past grazing sheep and all. If hiking doesn’t suit you, maybe best if you’re driving. Friendly staff, nice room, beautiful view to take in while drinking beer at the restaurant there at end of day. Very nice place to chill.

• Darren (10/5): Sept 2019 - Utterly wonderful hotel high up in the Innsbruck countryside. Our double room was actually an apartment complete with sofa, kitchen, terrace etc. Very comfortable. The restaurant attached was incredibly good, serving local cuisine. Is clearly popular with Austrians which shows how good it is. Loads of parking, high atop a hill just outside of Innsbruck, easy to get to with a car. Oh, has its own mini zoo. Nothing like starting your day watching Donkeys run around.

Otherwise, what an incredible place for relaxation, quietness and incredible food. You are welcomed like family and treated as well. Loved the views and the surroundings of a farm and vast fields.

Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Zimmer ausreichend groß. Das Badezimmer ist dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Im anderen Haus, wurden aber wohl die Badezimmer renoviert, wirhatten ein Zimmer bekommen wo das Badezimmer noch nicht renoviert wurde, dies aber wohl ab Oktober geschieht. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt gut.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a great time Wirtshaus Natterboden. It was a the Austrian experience we were looking for. The hosts were very hospitable. The kids loved interacting with the farm animals (cows, pigs, horses, chickens, lambs, sheep, etc..). The family apartment with Loft was spacious. I recommend it for anyone whose children don't do well in a normal hotel room as there is a sitting/dining area and small kitchenette separate from the sleeping area. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant which was very accommodating of our dietary constraints. It was a short drive away from Innsbruck, but worth the experience and very reasonably priced.

É um hotel familiar, no qual fomos bem atendidos, sendo confortável e limpo, com bom sinal de wi - fi. No quarto em que ficamos, havia a possibilidade de preparo de refeições caso assim desejássemos.O café da manhã é cobrado à parte, sendo saboroso. De nossa parte só não recebe uma classificação melhor no item conforto porque o box no banheiro é pequeno (para quem é um pouco mais alto) e as toalhas de banho eram muito pequenas e muito ásperas. É um item que poderia ser melhorado. Estivemos em época de inverno e não desfrutamos tanto da área da propriedade (uma mini fazenda) que deve ser também bem encantadora em estações com clima mais quente. Mas, a região do entorno do hotel é muito bonita.

Não fica localizado próximo a cidade, sendo necessário estar de carro. A dona do estabelecimento, Martina, foi muito simpática conosco e nos sentimos muito bem recebidos. Os quartos são muito bem decorados e confortáveis, contando com TV e utensílios. A estadia foi perfeita!

• Valerie (10/5): Gasthaus on the slopes above Innsbruck - The Gasthaus is a family business providing holiday accommodation in a quiet and bucolic setting with spectacular views.It is clearly an ideal place for a family, with farm animals and lots of space for children to play and explore. The unit was spotless, bright and cosy, with basic kitchen facilities and a veranda to relax on. We ate a meal at the restaurant and were impressed both by the quality of the ingredients and the range of choice. Altogether a memorable stay.
• Heidi (10/5): Beautiful country home and restaurant. - Beautiful home and restaurant in the countryside. Lovely dinner and guest room with hill and mountain views from the guest apartment. They are very kid friendly. Such a sweet place.

• Clemente (10/5): - Ottima posizione in campagna, a solo mezz'ora con la Stubaitalbahn al centro di Innsbruck. Bella vecchia locanda. Perfetto per vacanze sostenibili; particolarmente bello con i bambini.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Agriturismo gradevole - Il posto è gradevole, ci sono gli animali della fattoria e un playground adatto ai bambini. La camera semplice, di campagna, bagno fatto di lavandino e doccia un po’ datati. Quindi sì lo consiglierei principalmente per la location e la gentilezza del personale.

• Sandra 85 (8/5): Wirtshaus abgelegen an einem Berg, Ideal f. Wander - Wir hatten nur 1 Übernachtung, diese war angenehm. Es war extrem warm und aus diesem Grund mit den dicken Decken und schlechten Kissen unangenehm. Bedienung und Essen, Sauberkeit war super.
• Elizabeth (10/5): Super for short or longer stay - Great location with lots of space for walks or runaround for the kids. Clean. Food was very good and obviously popular with the locals .We enjoyed our evening meal and they offer smaller portions for the youngsters if required. However, compared with similar stop overs on route to Italy , the breakfast was basic unless you are prepared to pay more which of course, adds to overall accommodation costs. Depends how hungry you are or if you are travelling on.
• Jonny Ways (8/5): Djurpark I miniatyr - Riktigt härlig upplevelse med djur som mer eller mindre strövar fritt. Kan dock inte rekommendera att köpa till frukosten. Åk ner till lilla byn istället.
• Åke (6/5): Bra t5raditionellt kök. - Bo på gård med djur, höns, hästar och kor.
• Eliane (8/5): Le Tyrol tel qu'on l'imagine il ne manque rien. - Un lieu parfait pour un séjour à la montagne, proche d'Innsbruck ( à visiter). Le calme et la,beauté du Tyrol.
• Verified traveler (10/5): God service og børnevenligt med minizoo - Dejligt sted. Yderst hjælpsom og venligt værtspar. Rigtig lækker mad til en rimelig pris. Vi brugte det som en enkelt overnatning på vej syd på og var så glade for det at vi bookede det hjem igen. Ideelt hvis man har børn, da de nærmest har en minizoo med bondegårdsdyr.
• Lynelle (10/5): Rural Experience Close To The City - We were traveling from Bavaria, through Tirol, on the way to Salzburgerland, and decided to make a short visit to Innsbruck. We would rather stay outside the city, when we can, and Wirtshaus Nattererboden offered an interesting alternative to "downtown" accomodations. My wife loves farm animals and enjoys sketching them, so the Wirtshaus was "beckoning" us to visit it. Add to this, the reviews of the restaurant, and how could we NOT stay here? The Wirtshaus was easy to find and access, with free parking just outside the Reception area. Because of some unforeseen building maintenance, we were upgraded from a double room to an apartment... we did NOT complain. The restaurant food was tasty and moderately priced. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The WiFi was strong and fast enough to support the streaming of Internet movies. The animals were cute, and DEFINITELY an enjoyment to the several children visiting the property. Our Hosts were very friendly. The Wirtshaus is just a few minutes from Innsbruck.
