- Amanda (5/5): Very disappointing stay for the price - My room original room was nice and it was cleaned daily. (However, I extended my stay to another room and that room was never cleaned at all.) I paid for breakfast for each day of my stay, this lady doesn't offer breakfast with your room. According to the hotel, I paid for parking. There are no affordable restaurants anywhere nearby. The inhouse restaurant was incredibly expensive and the food was not very good. I had to contact the front desk multiple times to get assistance with towels and food and I always had a hard time getting answers to my questions.The staff were not very helpful at all. In fact, they often complained to each other in my hearing about my booking my room through a third party.

- Charles (1/5): Worst $1000 I ever wasted... - I liked it was close to the venue for the event we were attending. There was a large group that was loud and disruptive and made all common areas reek like marijuana. They kept all the luggage carts in their rooms so nobody else could use them. We couldn't even eat in the dining area and had to take our food up to our room because they were drinking and shouting across our table at each other. Staff did nothing because they were a large group and didn't want to upset them. So they just let them act wild and belligerent at the cost of the other guests to keep them happy. I spent over $1000 at your hotel but will never stay there again and plan to let others considering staying there my experience.

- Lorri (6/5): I would probably stay somewhere else next time. We were charged 17.25 to park that should be free. - It was connected to the concert venue which was very convenient. The bedding was clean and for the most part the room was too. There was somehting gross on the bathroom doorhandle and very dusty behind the bed side table. I had to plug something in and noticed that. The noise!! I was in room 437. It sounded like someone had tennis shoes in a dryer and some noisy pipes all night long. On and off very frequently. I didn't sleep much at all.

The check in cookies were hard, no microwave in room, not even a half roll of toilet paper when we got in the room and took 2 calls and almost an hour to get a new roll. No tubs so only showers and lastly there was only a small fridge so dont expect to fit a lit in it.

He explained, I thought surely I was not overlooked at check in. Found out I was forgotten, told my husband Dbl Tree only does that on special occasions. - Thomas (7/5): Ok visit perfect for concert though. - Distance and connection from Ford Center. Decent room, poor lighting in bathroom. Wife had issues seeing to put on makeup and do hair. Dead bolt would lock so just had to lock the little flap. Water knob in shower was too heavy or doesn’t have enough resistance so it will fall from where you set it. Next thing you know you’re being scalded or froze to death.

- Knapp (4/5): Many great options for the price, this one doesn't care where you go. - The atmosphere, decor, and cleanliness were all great. You also get a great grey parking garage view with most of the rooms, too. So nice, yeah. They have an awesome pool but it's closed for the season right now. I am supposed to be writing what I liked but the only thing was that it is a hotel, it was clean. So it met the basic expectation for a hotel. All of the little things I liked about staying at a hotel were not good here, though. booking.com will sell you this location with breakfast but the hotel does not honor it. The pool is only open during the summer. The bored staff at the tiny restaurant area stare at you when you walk by and there is no avoiding it as they are on the way to the only elevator. I think I just severely dislike breakfast games. To be clear, I now know I only want hotels that offer that good ole' continental complimentary breakfast. This hotel does not; it is a $16 buffet with three items to choose from. And the hotel will not honor that you paid for breakfast through booking.com and booking.com says to send an invoice for reimbursement. I didn't like that in my experience. It is really booking.com's fault as I wouldn't have expected free breakfast. They put that it my head. So what I don't like about this hotel is basically what I don't like about booking.com now, too.

- Christine (4/5): Not Worth the Money - Beds were very comfortable. Room had trash left in it from whomever stayed there last. Shower wasn't cleaned and still had bar soap left from previous person and pink scum all over the shower. Lock was broken on sliding glass door, missing 2 screws. For the price we paid it wasn't worth it. They had no other rooms like ours and kept saying because we went through a third party they couldn't help us on pricing.

- Ashley (5/5): They have a clean and convenient location but other amenities were disappointing. - Great location, everything was clean The refrigerator was completely broken in our room, which normally isn’t a problem but we had dinner leftovers we put in there that went bad which was disappointing. The breakfast the next morning was not worth the money. It was a pretty sad excuse for continental breakfast.
- Erin (6/5): - The woman at the front office wasn’t very friendly when we checked in, and not helpful at all. I had called a couple of times earlier and she immediately pur me on hold both times She assigned me a room on 1st floor. I couldn’t find the room so had to go back and ask her again where it was and her directions on how to get to the room were inaccurate. I still couldn’t find the room so I asked the daytime bartender how to get to my room. She was very friendly and showed me where to find the room. My friend and I had late nite drinks at the bar. The bartender on duty at that time disappeared for about 20 minutes just as we were finishing our drinks and we had to wait for her to get back. She never said she had to step away, and when she would be back, just disappeared. It was annoying to have to wait so long for our check

- Catherine (4/5): - There was hair from the previous guest still along the shower walls when we checked in and the room was not cleaned properly. Whole room felt grimey even though this room was almost $200 a night. Absolutely not worth it would never stay here again.

- Sandra (10/5): - We booked its room due to its proximity to the Old National Event Center and, come to find out, there is even a skywalk to the event center. We never had to walk outside. When we arrived at the event center there was an entrance just for us and we didn’t even have to stand in line to get in. The hotel itself was perfect in every way and the staff were very accommodating. There are also many places to eat within walking distance. We will return to this hotel in a heartbeat!

- Kacey (10/5): - This stay was an absolute pleasure. The room was spacious and comfortable. The parking was easy and convenient to the hotel. I saw a concert at the Old National Events Plaza located just across the street. The bar was well attended after the event and Kim, who worked behind the bar was engaging while keeping up with her customers. The fire pit was a nice surprise.

- Randy (10/5): - We stay here when they have concerts at Ford Stadium and Old National Events Plaza. Very convenient cat walks take you right into both locations , so no lines to wait in or weather to worry about standing in. Only bad is if you stay on the 1st floor road noise is kinda bad. Especially when delivery trucks park right outside your window and leave their trucks running at 6 o'clock in the morning.

- Bryan (1/5): Disappointed - Quiet When i checked out, there was a bar charge of 24 on my bill. We did not use the bar. Now i see why they asked if i wanted a receipt, which i said yes. I myself always get a hotel receipt they shouldn't even have to ask. She took off the charge, however with an attitude that i in turned checked her on. This was our second time here and our last.. i do not like shady stuff like this at all. Get a receipt from here and check your charges because i think the employees and using guest numbers to run up charges. There was no one else around when we checked in. Watch out
- Jessica (10/5): Great location, clean & comfortable hotel - Came to Evansville for a comedy show at Victory Theater & this was the perfect stay. Walking distance to Main Street for lots of restaurants and walking distance to the many entertainment venues including Victory theater. Check in was quick & easy, hotel is very clean & updated. Everything in the room worked properly & was clean & comfortable. Parking not bad for $17 in & out, did not do breakfast or any meals at the onsite restaurant but got some snack for the room at their little snack stand. Would definitely stay here again if in Evansville.

- Jacob (4/5): - The floors were dirty in our room and the hallway. Bandaids stuck to the carpet. Room had larger food crumbs on the floor. I know it wasnt vacuumed because I found change under the desk. Fridge in room stopped working sometime through the night so our food was wasted. Iron was broken so water got everywhere. Exit for parking garage has a median in front so you can only go one way and have to circle around. Lighting in the room was poor so i dont recommend staying here if you need to get ready for an event.

- Angela (8/5): We like this location when attending events and have future reservations. - Great location when attending any downtown events. We love that you can use the skywalk to get back and forth from the Ford Center. There isn’t a continental breakfast. The bathrooms need more lighting.

- Anna (6/5): - The location of the hotel was perfect for our trip as we attended an event downtown. The hotel facility is beautiful and our room was clean. The lighting in the room was dim/poor; especially in the bathroom. There was something wrong with our lighted mirror in the bathroom as it would only flicker and the drain in our sink was slow. Both times I have stayed at this location, the check in was slow as there was a line of people checking in. Overall, I would definitely consider staying at the DoubleTree agin.

- Justin (10/5): Excellent stay - We were only there one night but the room was excellent. The fitness center and pool are very nice. Having starbucks and a restaurant downstairs was extremely convenient. We booked this hotel because it was next door and connected via skywalk to the Ford Center. Only complaint I had was trying to get a late check out. I called the hotel prior to arriving, spent quite a bit of time on the phone only to be told I have to check with the front desk when I check in. Arrived for check in and they told me I'd have to check in the morning. Stopped at the front counter again in the morning and was told check out was changed to 11am instead of 12pm which it said we I booked the room. They would not allow a late check out, because of all the people checking in that day which I understand but would have preferred to not have to go through 3 people to get my question answered. We didn't check out until almost noon and they didn't have a problem with it.
