Guest Reviews
- Byron (6/5): - This property location being within walking distance to Gondola, near many restaurants, shops, rental and convenient parking is great. The unit is spacious and can accommodate up to 4 although inflatable mattress doesn't hold air so have to be two couples and overall entire unit is not kept in good repair with many light bulbs missing or burned out, shower head not working properly, shower curtain too small for the opening allowing water spraying outside the tub, no exhaust fan in bathroom to remove moisture, blinds wouldn't open at all unless pulled up completely, back patio door wouldn't lock at all so it was basically not secure from outside intrusion!?
The access instructions for keys pick up is not clear that management is remote (4 miles away, so if you are being dropped of with shuttle then good luck) from the unit location which is confusing to first time visitors specially that at the unit vestibule entry there is a big cabinet with many key lock boxes apparently for other units and not this one.
Also, two key cards are provided but one doesn't work with anything since the unit front door is code type and not a key card access one!
The range cook top eyes don't all work and is made of outdated ring type eyes!
One of three hot tubs was out of service at the time of visit.
The management staff is remote and no one is in office although easily accessible and helpful for check in/out via text and direct calls to clear up the confusing instructions.
- Grant (10/5): Awesome Condo, Ideal Location - Great place in the perfect River Run location. Highly recommend if you are looking for a convenient, fun, and private place to stay in the heart of Keystone. Room to spread out, a good kitchen set up, and close to everything.
We have stayed here twice in July and can get pretty warm in the summer months. There is no AC and it would be great if there was a fan in the room. We ran to Lowes in Silverthorn to pick one up and were good to go once we got the air moving.
- Chad (10/5): - Location and amenities were unmatched. We got a great price on the room. It was our first time to keystone and we enjoyed every day of it. Resort food is a little pricey as you should expect, but we didn’t get anything bad while we were there. Pizza, burgers, soup, ramen, tacos, and beer of course. Construction wasn’t far from us and didn’t bother us one bit. The previous hottub complaints confused me too, as they have 2 other hottubs available and we used one each night.
We will return in the future.
- Christopher (10/5): - Hot tub didn't work
- Koby (6/5): - So for starters it was beautiful view and drive out however there were issues. They were resolved but still disappointing. Our fridge wasn’t working (had to throw out our food didn’t use for the rest of the stay), some light bulbs were out in the room and living room (this was resolved), the “spa” aka hot tub was out of service and has been since June/July very upset about that considering it was one of the reasons we booked here, construction happening right next to the lodge! Overall it’s nice on first glance but lots of little things that could use fixing. Last thing front door has no dead bolt made me very uncomfortable.
- William (8/5): Decent place - The room was nice but very dated, the bed was pretty stiff. The couch should have been replaced 5 years ago. The condo served its purpose and other than the beds we liked it.
- Timur (8/5): - Great location, very convinient, rooms, furniture and lienen could use some upgrades, otherwise hood!
- CoachRo (8/5): - Good condo for the price. Location is great. About the shortest walk to the gondola you could have. Walk out one door and you are right in the village. Very close to Norski sports for rentals. Comparing cost of similar condos this is a good deal and place to stay.
- Daniel (4/5): Read the fine print...if you can find it. - Hotels.com was not forthcoming with all the costs associated with this rental. While listed as $208/night for two nights, a cleaning fee of $345 was added (nearly doubling the cost). And with a no refund policy, was very shocking. The place (a condo, not a hotel) was sub managed by a realty company (no mention of that either). So when I called to make sure that a late check-in wouldn’t be a problem, it was another surprise to find that RedAwning couldn’t help me at all (no mention of that either). Thankfully someone from the realty company did get a hold of me for check-in instructions (in a different location than the condo) (and yet another piece of info not listed anywhere). But the check-in documents were very confusing as to what to do with them.
The place was nice enough, included a fireplace. There was a parking garage under the building (though once again, not very forthcoming about where the entrance was or how to access it).
Close to the ski area, but getting into the condo was extremely confusing. And I’m still getting messages about checking in even though my payment was accepted before the trip even began.
- christine (2/5): Worst condo I’ve ever stayed in. - I have stayed in many condos in the US and this was BY FAR the worst. Where to start? We specifically booked a condo with a fireplace but it wouldn’t light. We were on the ground floor and the lock on the patio door was faulty and it took us ages to re-lock it. The oven was filthy. There was sugar all over the dining table. Some of the blinds were broken. The TV was positioned so it couldn’t be seen from a lot of the lounge. The toaster was faulty. The fan in the bathroom was so noisy. The bathroom door was warped and wouldn’t close properly. The bedding was torn. We were given two key cards which gave access to the public areas (the door to the actual condo was a key pad) and on the first night we went taking one key and on our return found it to be faulty and we were locked out in the cold until someone from another condo let us in. We were then concerned what we would do if the other key stopped working so I rang the so called out of hours emergency line. They weren’t interested but eventually said they would deliver two new keys at 8 the following morning. This didn’t happen. I spent three quarters of an hour trying to phone again but couldn’t get through. I then resorted to an email. A maintenance man appeared around 5 o’clock bringing two new keys and a hairdryer to replace the toaster ?(which made three hairdryers!). He fixed the fireplace but it stopped working again a couple of hours later. I emailed red awning about all the issues and they haven’t replied. AWFUL!!
- Heidi (8/5): great for small family - Overall it was very nice. They had it cleaned by noon, so we were able to check in early. That was a tremendous help so we could unload all our ski gear and luggage before skiing and came in to our already set up condo straight off the slopes. Location is great, 5 minute walk to gondola. Room is a touch dated but still nice. Pool and Hot Tub was bonus. Ice rink within 5 minute walk. right at the village. convenience store in building and parking garage
