A recepção do Juarez também foi algo muito querido . Uma coisa muito importante foi o silêncio que estava ótimo O wi-fi no quarto não pegava , estávamos no 2 andar e não tinha sinal suficiente da cama ..tínhamos que ficar quase fora do quarto .Além disso, não queriam me dar outro rolo de papel higiênico , lamentável .

• Ayelet (9/5): - מיקום מצוין, יש מעלית ומים חמים עם זרם חזק. הצוות נחמד מאוד. כנראה הכי טוב שאפשר למצוא באזור הזה ברמת המחיר הזו. המקלחת קטנה מאוד (אנשים מלאים פשוט לא יצליחו להיכנס אליה) ועם עובש. אין איפה להניח חפצים סביב הכיור, מדף היה יכול לעזור. אין בכלל בידוד רעשים מהחדר ממול. כל פעם שרוצים להיכנס לבניין (ולפעמים גם לצאת) צריך שאיש צוות ייפתח את דלת הכניסה. בנוסף כל פעם שנכנסתי ויצאתי שאלו אותי באיזה חדר אני, זה לא נעים ופולשני. ארוחת הבוקר דלילה מאוד, אל תקומו בכלל...
• Marisa (10/5): Boa localização e conforto - A localização é muito boa, na rua do Mercado de las Brujas, próximo a museus e ao teleférico. Não conseguimos ligar o aquecedor, mas eles deixaram cobertores extras que nos deixaram aquecidas. O café da manhã é modesto, mas muito bem servido, em um terraço com vista para a cidade. Tem elevador! Não chega ser um grande problema, mas o chuveiro demora um pouco para esquentar.

• Brian (8/5): Comfy and good value in a good location. - Right by the witches market, so you're in the thick of it. Decent places to walk and enjoy the city, but remember the altitude! The lady doing breakfast was lovely. The street has limited access, very narrow and on arrival my coach dropped off about 200 yards away. Taxis are available.

• Ioanna (10/5): Great place, Amazing people! - Great and comfortable room! It has hot water and a heater, which is ideal for the cold nights in La Paz. Breakfast is served on the terrace with a great view of the city by a very kind lady. I was also pleasantly surprised by how helpful the staff was. They went above and beyond to assist me when I had trouble finding a taxi due to the strikes. I highly recommend this place!

• Sophie (9/5): - Very, very friendly receptionist and very kind lady for the breakfast. Everyone is smiling and making you feel very comfortable and like at home. Location is perfect in the middle of the witch market area, surrounded with restaurants and shops. It’s very clean, the breakfast is delicious and served on the rooftop terrace from which you have a great view over the city and to the mountains. Overall price/ value is amazing.

• Wang (8/5): 位置不错的旅馆 - 旅馆在女巫市场的某条街上，出门右手走120米就是两伞街，四围小店餐厅很多，位置很佳，到拉巴斯汽车站约1.3公里。我们早晨去大巴站，酒店帮我们叫的出租车并谈好价（比预期的便宜一点） ，洗澡热水很好。1月晚上有暖气。前台英语不好，需用西语交流，但服务热情，乐意帮助客人 房间设施非常一般，房问不大，两人住budget三人间合适，卫生间不大，摆洗漱用品的地方都没有。早餐非常简单。

The room was modest but clean and equipped will all needed for a short stay. But the best asset was the staff, all of them really kind and always helpful. Nothing, I got what I paid for and more.

• Julio (1/5): A Complete Scam - Nothing This accommodation does not meet expectations at all. The rooms are small and old, and the bathroom is even smaller. Upon arrival, they insisted that I pay in physical dollars. Since I didn't have them, they tried to double the rate that was confirmed on Booking. This forced me to search for another hotel in the middle of the night. It was a total scam, and it's clearly a place that preys on tourists who don't know the area. There are much better hotels within 200 meters of this place, and they charge far less than what these scammers are asking for on Booking. Avoid it at all costs!

O quarto é simples. O único incômodo foi o barulho de obra ao lado e também, o quarto na parede tem um estilo de “vitral” que deixa o quarto com claridade.

• Alex (9/5): Would stay here again, cannot beat the location and staff. - Awesome location, with brilliant breakfast views and a really lovely breakfast to go with it. Staff were great, really no complaints. They let us in at all hours with a smile, even when we checked in at 3am! Open drain in the bathroom was a little off putting but that’s it.

We had to keep extending our stay due to illness and they were so helpful and kind. Breakfast is simple but tasty, with the kindest lady preparing. Right on the Main Street of witches market, but quiet at night. Great location. Lots of lovely places to eat close by. Only a small thing, but the shower is tucked in the corner of the bathroom and is ‘snug’ to get into - larger people would struggle with a tight gap between shower entrance and the sink. Don’t let this put you off.
• Yolanda (10/5): - When you're in high altitude, what you moat need is a nice place to rest and that's exactly what Residencial Alta Vista meant to us. Rooms are very comfortable, with central heating and a hot shower. Rodrigo, Tania & Reynaldo, the staff, are kind and helpful; they made us feel so at home, including the landlady who prepared our breakfast every morning. The location is great too because it's a safe area right in the heart of Mercado de Brujas with lots of shops with handicraft and musical instruments. There are also a few eating options around. Finally, the view is fantastic from the hotel. We were very lucky bc from our room we could see the beautiful Illimani, but if you don't get a room like ours, you ca always go up to the top floor and get an amazing view from there too. We highly recommend ALTA VISTA if you are in La Paz.

• Enrico (10/5): Amazing Stay in central location - Very friendly Staff. Especially the lady who does the breakfast. Room was quite and street as well. The amount of food at the breakfast could be improved. Also installing a water bottle refill station would be nice. Shower Door could be improved!

Tried to gouge me on exchange rate from USD on the booking when I tried to pay with Bolivianos (they wouldn't take cards despite what Booking says). Official rate is around 7 Bolivianos per dollar and they wanted me to pay 15 per dollar.
• Maria (9/5): Central and comfortable. - Good central location in the Mercado de las Brujas area, 2 blocks from the Plaza San Francisco. I took the local minibus transport from the airport (5 BOB) and it stops at the Plaza. The Purple (Morado) cable car is nearby, which gives access to the whole network. A couple of good restaurants nearby La Murrilla, lots of quinoa, Oliva, ) A bit noisy at night, mainly dogs barking! Breakfast dull.

• Mark (8/5): Clean and adequate - Good location, by the Witches market, 1km from the bus terminal, easy access to major sights and plenty of dining choices. Warm room but hot water in shower took time to come through the pipes. The man and woman (brother and sister, I think) who ran the property are very hospitable and pleasant. Clean and adequate. If you pay in Bolivian dollars, the US $ exchange rate quoted on the my booking dot com site jumps from the normal 7 times to 10 times.

Only one window into an inner building shaft. The neighbours nextdoor left the light on in their bathroom, which meant light spilt into my room at night (I like a dark room at night). I brought it up to the receptionist and the lights went off the next night - thank you. I expected low prices in Bolivia. I wouldn't call $21USD a low price, certainly not for such a small and simple room. But probably the great location is worth it.

• Michal (6/5): Pleasant - Very nice and helpful girl at the reception, tried to help me order a taxi which was difficult because of traffic jams and a street parade on the occasion. She also allowed me to store my luggage for a few hours after check-out and wait for a taxi. The shower could be a little better, the water leaks on the floor, the water is either cold or very hot. The room lacked a cupboard or shelf for clothes. In December the room was cold, no heating.
