- Aly (8/5): A Little History Goes a Long Way - The location was perfect and the view AMAZING!! Joy, the owner, and her dog Chewey were a delight. The B&B is the home of the late founder of Longaberger Baskets; which is why we booked for attending the annual Basket Festival. The home is gorgeous despite the outdated decor. The facilities like AC, water pressure, ceiling fan, etc were great. Could use a good clean but not something I would not return for.

- chad (6/5): - A nice lady manages it, but you got to set your expectations right. It's not very clean and the sheets have stains and our sheets were filthy like an animal had got them dirty and there were human hair on it. The tub and floors were a bit dirty, including human hair.

- Jessica (10/5): Anniversary 19 - My husband and I stayed for one night in the zane grey it was absolutely gorgeous the fireplace alone was heaven we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We were served a four course dinner with a bottle of win,we even asked for another. It was delicious. The host/ owner Joy was delightful and a true pleasure to talk to very friendly and accommodating we felt like family.we were invited to come with our family to spend Christmas at the inn we are looking forward to that. - ANTHONY (10/5): Anniversary, loved it here. - Everything was amazing. Joy was a fantastic host. Her food was unbelievable. She was sweet as sugar and made our anniversary so rememberable. The decor was fantastic. The bedding was comfortable. We were in the Hideaway room and it was very nice. We enjoyed Dresden and the Inn made it magical. We will absolutely be back. Very limited parking that is close and the retaining wall is leaning a lot. There are many steps on all levels it seems and not an elevator to assist for anyone with a disability. Management is friendly.

- Charles (8/5): - My wife and I had occasion to pass through eastern Ohio on our way to the Cincinnati /Dayton area. My wife wanted to see the Longaberger basket building so we made our first stop in Dresden, OH, and picked The Inn at Dresden. The Inn is located up a STEEP hill on the edge of Dresden, a tiny blue-collar town north of Zanesville. As it turns out, the Inn was the former home of Dave Longaberger himself. As the Brits say, the Inn has "bags of character" as it was the concept of Dave who created an 8-level house that sprawls down that steep hill. The current proprietor, Joy, a chatty Filipina, maintains the unique property as a business and as a legacy. She has a little hairy dog, Chewie, well-behaved and friendly, who may bring his sock-fox to you at breakfast for some tug-of-war. (If you're not so inclined, he'll just walk off.) Now to the practicalities. "Bags of character" is not always the most convenient: 1.The rough street up to the Inn is very steep. Don't even think about it in slick weather unless you have 4-wheel drive and some nerve. In nice weather it's a climb but my Malibu took it fine. There are several other residences on that hill so it is a real street. That said, the view is phenomenal. Got some excellent pix at sunrise. 2. Since the Inn is built down the slope, with rooms and decks as it goes, it is full of stairs with no elevator. We stayed on the bottom level which has ground access from a lower parking area but if you want indoor access to the front des

- Robert (10/5): Great get-away weekend - We had a wonderful get-away weekend at the Inn at Dresden. The innkeeper, Joy, was so nice – and a fantastic cook. We enjoyed two breakfasts (loved the French toast) and a 4-course dinner (the pasta and greens salad was our favorite). We stayed in the City Lights room. It was spacious, had a huge private deck, and beautiful panoramic views of the valley below all day and all night. While the décor is a bit dated, the room and entire facility was very clean. Unfortunately, the town of Dresden no longer has much to offer, but we were really there just to relax and unwind. The Inn definitely provided that for us.

The only thing more impressive than the Longaberger home is Joy's passion and knowledge on the history of it. The rooms are absolutely beautiful. We loved our stay. We cannot wait to go back. The Innkeeper was lovely and very friendly and did her best to make us feel welcome. Dresden itself is very small and in need of development, but the area is lovely and the Inn has spectacular views. The rooms are totally unique and many are very large and luxurious. Especially if you love the out of the ordinary and are interested in history, give this Inn a try! The breakfast was wonderful!!

The owner was very hospitable, and had our wine and dessert ready for us after we came back from dinner, and the breakfast was wonderful. Very quiet and quaint, but close to a lot!

The views from the Inn are outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet super relaxing weekend. Our only regret was not being able to enjoy the gorgeous decks due to weather.

- Valerie (10/5): A sprawling house with loads of character. - I believe that the Inn in person was even more amazing than suggested by the photos on the website. We only stayed for 1 night, but I could happily stay there for a week - any time of year. The room we were in (Zane Grey) was well worth the money. The bed was extremely comfortable and the fireplace was awesome. We saw deer walking across the road during breakfast and loads of little birds at the bird feeders. Our hosts were extremely personable and we both enjoyed their company. I will recommend The Inn at Dresden to my friends and I will definitely return to stay for a longer time.

We were fortunate to have such beautiful fall colors as late as November. The Inn at Dresden provides a wonderful retreat for a couple's weekend get-away.

The Inn at Dresden was a nice relaxing get away! The cheese and wine upon our arrival was a nice touch. We stayed in the City Lights room - the bed was comfortable and the view overlooking the town was gorgeous! The breakfast was delicious and Joy and Allen both went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. If you are looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing getaway I would recommend staying here!

I wish I had known that there is a four course dinner involved because I had already booked a show in Zanesville. I would have made a different time for the show to attend the dinner had I known. This is worth the extra drive to relax and enjoy.

The room was very nice and the Inn Keepers were so friendly and welcoming. I will be going to this B&B again and again.

- Jim and Margare (10/5): Comfortable Inn in a beautiful part of Ohio - The Inn was a former residence and as such it was a pleasant experience to stay in a rich man's no-expense-spared home. It had been expensively transformed into a B and B. A snack upon arrival and breakfast included was appreciated. Better signage to find the Inn would have helped. The height of the bed made it difficult for us seniors.
