Guest Reviews
- Albert (4/5): - Speedy intake, room was clean but ac wasn’t the greatest, no snack machines if you needed a drink they sold drinks by the can for 150 a piece from in the office. So you had to wait until someone came to the little box window. Staff wasn’t the most customer service filled place.
- Jessica (10/5): - Great service from beginning to end
- Verified traveler (4/5): Eh.. - The room had roaches. Bathroom was the only clean thing. And bed sheets. No bedbugs just roaches
- Jesse (10/5): - The rooms were great, as well as the service! Just in a bad area for dining. And maintenance was being done in the room next door so I was woken up early my last day.
- Cozmo101 (8/5): - Stayed one night, everything looked clean, but I saw several roaches and a few aggravating flies. Aside from that, it was your average motel stay.
- Christopher (4/5): - Typical budget style stay. Never even used the shower
- Casey (4/5): Not good - Not good cleaning roach bugs badly
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice - Very friendly
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was close to where we wanted to go. Unfortunately the beds were hard as a rock, the pillows did not have hardly any stuffing. The day ee left there were two baby roaches in the bathroom
- Butterflylady (4/5): - We found a few roaches in the room. The beds felt like a pull out couch type of bed. The room had a musty smell. It was a tiny room. Beds was supposed to be queen size but was only full size. We listed 2 kids on the reservation but they said we didn't and had to pay extra for the kids.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was well lit and the staff were nice. Would def go back there.
- D.wilcox (2/5): - Run down, shabby.,trashy. Not clean, cockroaches in room. Will not stay there again, or book thru Expedia. Co.i could have given my money to a homeless person and felt better.........IT WAS SCARY BAD!!!!!!!!!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - They charge 20 dollar a dog the place wasnt that clean it was just hotel nothing great
- Verified traveler (4/5): Stay elsewhere. - Roaches. Will never return. Rude. Against the rules to provide two squirts of shampoo for two guests. Beds are extremely hard. However, the housekeeper was very nice and did everything possible to be accommodating.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was nasty people was not. Nice rooms need ne clean and brd bugs
- Amanda (6/5): Money hungry - Front office was a little rude.. Called at 11 to see if we had left yet like they were rushing us and said $20 extra for late check out or early check in. I never heard of that
- Pierre (10/5): - Clean room friendly staff helpful advice and directions pet friendly and liquor store right next to it (very appreciated after a long day of driving)
- David (6/5): Paid extra for a non smoking room and got smoking - Pillows suck, told the room had two queen beds but they were full size.charge me ten extra dollars for non smoking room, smelled like cigarette smoke and had burn marks on the bathroom sink
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great for the price - Hotel showed obvious age but the owners were welcoming and everything was clean, good WiFi, quiet area in the mountains. Great stay for the price, will stay again
- Roxie (8/5): - It was a nice place for the money. The only thing is they need better pillows and another blanket on the bed.. I would stay there again if I had to. Just bring my own pillow.
- Jeff (10/5): - For the price, i couldnt ask for more.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Small room but comfortable and clean at a good price
- Kelly (6/5): Close proximity to the AT.
- Could have provided more towels and a warmer bedding. Pillows were basically non existent, but for an overnight stay before going into the woods for the AT...it sufficed
- Henry (10/5): Pleasantly Surprised - The room was much nicer than we expected. We were just needing a place to rest. The exterior of the Budget Inn is a little dated, but we were pleasantly surprised with the interior of our room. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again, and recommending it to our friends.
- James (2/5): The room stunk and it was still nasty nothing clea - It was absolutely terrible never pay that much money for that hotel
- Brett (8/5): Good cheap stay - Friendly staff and cheap rates. Would have liked the room a bit darker since a lot of the light came in from the security lights, but well worth the money
- PJ (6/5): Rude staff that lost our reservations - We got there around 2 PM and they couldn't find the reservation that we made a month early. Front staff were not very friendly. The only good thing was the room was good size and smelled good.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The bathroom was very old. rusty sink. the outlet over it looked dangerous,
Pillows were non existent- nothing left to them
- Manny (4/5): Not good - There was some bug on bed and make me skin problem. I don't want to recommend this hotel even it is cheaper one.
- Juanita (8/5): Mountain visit - As expected for the price
- Joseph (10/5): - Very accommodating people
- Mary (8/5): Budget Inn - Nicer than I was expecting. Room decor was great.
- Benjamin (10/5): Nice little motel with great service - They have a 1 PM check-in which is really nice. I would rate this as five stars just for the fact of the service the cleanliness of the room. They don't have ironing boards in the room but when I mentioned I needed one they brought one to me immediately. This hotel appears that it was recently renovated some of it's features such as the TV are out of date but there are many channels to choose from .however for the price of the room it was fantastic I feel I got more than what I paid for. If I ever go back to this part of Georgia again I would definitely stay at this hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice - Very clean and very spacious.. will definitely stay again!!
- VALERIE (6/5): never staying - ran down
- randell (8/5): Cheap but good - Had a business meeting they was close and easy to get to last minute plan
- Verified traveler (4/5): Clean hotel horrible staff - The room was fine. No nearby restaurants. There was an unexpected fee. And the front office people were very rude and accused me of having extra guests staying there. I didn't know I wasn't allowed to have visitors for a couple of hours during my stay. Very very very rude staff. Questioned me and watched me Everytime I left the room.
- William (10/5): Pleasantly Surprised. What a Deal! - Called me early in the day to confirm my reservation. Arrived 8:15 p.m. Very nice and friendly family welcomed me and personally showed me to my room. Very recently updated, clean quiet and comfortable if a bit eclectic. Good hot water, lots of water pressure in the shower. Comfy King bed. Felt like I paid twice as much. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again
- Susan (6/5): - room smelled bad
- Petra (8/5): Weekend trip for a funeral - We came up here for a funeral. We checked in late on a Saturday and decided to add an additional night at that time. Our room was huge with three full beds which was perfect for some of the family that we had stay with us the second night. Amazing quality for the price for sure!!! Only issue I had was the bath tub did not seem too clean and the owner asked my boyfriend to pay an additional $20 for our room when my boyfriend was buying something at the store next door. (The owner of the hotel also owns the store next door) We thought that was very unprofessional but overall it was a great experience for an affordable price. Also, less than a mile from the funeral home.
- Todd (8/5): quiet sleep - a true joy not to hear any sounds from next door rooms
- James (10/5): - Comfortable stay. Quiet, safe, and clean. Would reccomend this hotel to family friends...
- Victor (8/5): Convient and good value - \Was just passing through so did not stay in the area. Good restaurant choices. Good value for the price
