- John (8/5): Excellent value - Location!! It was right off the interstate and was still very close to my destination. The price was excellent too. Room was spotless and was quiet. Charged for ice, so I ran next door to the store and got some. More ice forn the weekend.

I do remember that it was listed on what I filled out when I registered, but nobody mentioned it when I checked in. I would have appreciated a little friendlier welcome. She was nice enough, but working through a little window, after a 3-hour drive didn’t feel too welcoming.

- summer (2/5): Inconvenient - We have stayed here several times due to the convenience of the location. We booked nearly a week in advanced and booked a non smoking king room. We communicated this to some family members who also booked a non smoking king AFTER we did. We get to the location and they put us in a double bed room while our family members had no issues. If I would have known this in advance I would have booked somewhere else as it was not ideal nor comfortable for our situation.

- Shelli (10/5): Economical and Clean - The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The price was economical. The staff is friendly. The pillows have satiny shams (matching the bedspread), but there were no regular cotton-sheeting pillowcases. The door has a deadbolt incorporated into the electronic lock, but no separate security swing-bar or hasp lock on the inside.

- Joan (8/5): Comfortable and convenient - It was clean, comfortable and convenient right off the highway. Location was just that we needed one night and we got lucky with this one. The location it’s right on the highway so you hear all the highway traffic but we need one night and that was all Service purpose and we had a very nice day
- Anthony (10/5): Peaceful and smooth - Clean and well kept exterior, lady at front desk is polite and can answer all questions professionally. I met the owner one time and he was polite, inquired about my stay and was walking the grounds keeping up with everything. Eventually maybe some tv upgrades but that’s material thing and most of us have phones that can do more then any tv can
- Dean (10/5): Comfortable stay in clean room. - We stayed at the Budget Inn in Laurens while traveling to attend a Xmas party in Dec 2024. Check-in was easy and room was clean and comfortable. Room was light on amenities but was perfectly acceptable for a short overnight stay. We took advantage of Waffle House a block away for Sunday breakfast. Passing trains were slightly annoying, but only heard two; one in the afternoon and one during the night. It would have been nice to have a coffeemaker, but given the budget price, that was perfectly reasonable as it avoids having to clean/replenish coffee station.

- Nessa (7/5): Overall, good stay at a good price. - Liked that it was tucked off by itself right next to the store. I was cleaner than I expected it to be for a cheaper spot. The property was well maintained. The activity going on outside of the room was a little uncomfortable. Loud talking and slamming of doors when the neighbors entered and exited. Although the rooms were very clean, the smell of the room could have also been more pleasant.

- Michael (10/5): Very quiet and peaceful - It was just perfect. Outside of town in a quiet area . Beds were made every day we returned. Toilet paper restocked , new towels and wash rags every day it was wonderful Not any bad things to say in my opinion

The Waffle House right next door was perfect and you can get a better breakfast than those motels that charge you much more for their continental breakfast. The glass shield during checking in gives a bad feeling that the area is dangerous. Not a friendly feeling!! No coffee maker in the room or even at the office for customers that want coffee 1st thing! Lol.....

I drove 4 hours only to have the owner turn me away because he has no vacancies. I was forced to sleep in my truck. I will never use booking again. terrible experience

- Cynthia (8/5): Great Budget Motel - Basic motel, no frills, but clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed. Microwave and fridge. Large room. Good value. No coffee maker in room, and we had to ask for hangers (but there were some available). Lighting isn’t great, but good enough for a budget motel. (It was too hot to leave the accordion shade open for natural light).

The double beds could have been softer, I imagine they are slowly being replaced throughout the remodel… I wasn’t aware the staff would clean the rooms each day while you were gone, as well as turn your A/C off completely!

- Turner (10/5): Highly recommend! - Nice, cozy, clean, right by a 24/7 gas station and waffle house, great shampoo and soap to use, fridge was bigger than usual and worked great, air conditioner was amazing and the king size bed was so comfortable. Would stay over and over again. Plus friendly staff, clean parking lot, well mannered staff. That I was only staying for one night. I wish I was able to stay longer.
