• Kaj Mikael (8/5): - Villa de Roses, with reasonable price level, is in hands of friendly, honest, helpful and hard working local people. Many of the high price level hotels and restaurants in the area are in hands of Russian Putin friends from Moscow.

• Allain (4/5): - Beaucoup d’équipements mentionnés sur le site n’existent pas. Pas de petits déjeuners, réception jamais là. Nous posons nos affaires par terre car pas de tables de nuit. Ne demandez pas d’eau ou de café car on vous dit non. Après 12h ne demandez rien et ne les dérangez pas car la propriétaire très désagréable. On nous a répondu on fourni la chambre pour dormir et rien d’autre.

• Ansbert Mugamba (6/5): Not Impressed - We weren't impressed. For the all three nights that we stayed there, no one came to clean our premises. The WiFi was weak throughout. The Tv channels didn't respond. No breakfast offered. Truly, no value for money!

• Robert E (6/5): This is a clean place with some inconveniences. - This is a clean place. My only complaints are: 1) staff was unprepared at check-in; 2) the room was not ready, and the staff came back to finish preparing the room for use while we were in the room and without knocking; 3) the check-out time is very inconvenient and staff shows ZERO flexibility in providing late check-outs, even if only for 1 hour extra.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Good value - The owners are lovely, the place is a good value for NBC a great location. The cleanliness could be better. There are lots of ants (normal in the Seychelles) but other hotels managed to keep most of them out. Also the shower doesn’t work so you have to hold it and spray yourself and it doesn’t stay hot. Overall, good stay though. The porch and views are amazing!
• Verified traveler (4/5): - I had a layover here as I missed my connecting flight due to Air Seychelles delay. All I needed was a good night sleep. The AC in the room could not be turned off. There was no duvet or enough bedsheets to cover. I had to use the bathroom towel to cover myself. There were cockroaches in the shower and the shower head holder was broken and you to hold it to shower yourself. I needed wifi to rebook my next flight but even though they provided with wifi, there was no internet. When I asked, they said that they didn't pay for it. I acknowledge that they allowed me to stay after my check-out time and also called for my transfer to the airport. But the overall quality of the customer service was unpleasant. You felt that they were doing you favors. There was no apologies and no alternatives offered if you have issues with their service.
• Jamie (2/5): not worth the money - Advertised airport shuttle and does not pay for one or book one for you. WiFi was so bad I couldn’t send any messages. Advertised breakfast but doesn’t have it.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - The beautiful garden and the location the varanda balcony is super amazing. No drinkinble drinkable water available. For the guests, no ironing available, no kitchen to cook...
• A & M (8/5): Good value - Although classed as a 3 star properly we found the accomodation very comfortable and the owner very helpful and friendly. Close to both the beach and nearby foodstores. Buses also nearby to go into Victoria. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back again.
• Stuart (8/5): Convenient central location - This budget hotel is an easy walk from the beacch area and if you visit on a wednesday, the market in the walkway next to the beach. This in itself was a great bonus as it continued into the night with food and music available. The host was very helpful, there is wifi but the signal is only strong near the main house. My room was clean and comfortable with good aircon and hot showers. The bedding was clean but a bit worn and would benefit from upgrading, all in all a pleasant stay

• Philip (6/5): Good budget lodging - Nice place to stay if you are on a budget and aren't looking for luxury. The villa is set in a beautiful location convenient to a number of restaurants and shops. My room was spacious, with a nice balcony. Air conditioning worked well but was a bit noisy. Internet was down the first two days of my stay due to a storm that knocked out transmission towers. Breakfast is very basic: juice, coffee or tea, and an egg sandwich.
