Guest Reviews
- Cornelia (10/5): - We had a very friendly welcome in your house. All rooms on the ground floor. Very clean and a pleasant scent in the room! As we stayed only 1 night we cannot judge the rest...
- Catherine (10/5): - 10/10 stay and would stay here again every time now after years of staying in Lincoln. Had a great little getaway with my pups. Leading up to the trip, sent a few messages and got prompt, and easy responses every time. The motel itself is really nice, clean, quiet (besides that it’s a main trucking route so there’s some traffic noise), right near town but out of town so it’s peaceful, and easy access to plenty of hiking. Thanks so much for a great stay, hope to come back in the spring.
- Nicholas (10/5): - Overall my stay here was good and exceeded my expectations
- Francoise (8/5): - Nice quick stay.
- Cloney (6/5): - Clean, small room, quiet, and old.
- Lucien (10/5): - Very satisfied with the accommodations
- P. C. (8/5): - The room was clean and the towels were soft and fluffy. We found the location a bit noisy due to road traffic and the room a bit small to move around. Overall a good value for the money.
- George (10/5): - Great suite/small apt type room. WiFi had no signal so I used my phone as a hotspot spot. Really comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Highly recommended.
- Laurie (10/5): - Staff very friendly
- Michael (8/5): - The rooms were small but very clean. A comfortable place to stay. It was close to places we wanted to go and not too expensive.
- kathy (8/5): - It was good
- Terry (10/5): - Stayed here for a night before a big hiking expedition. This place is exactly as described and gets full marks for that reason. Clean, comfortable, good location, etc. And thanks for the dinner recommendation for Nonna's! What a gem
Would definitely stay here again
- Andrew (10/5): - Parking was easy (right in front of my room). The room gave me what I needed for an early start the next day.
- Marshall (10/5): - The staff was over the top with information about dining and all questions I asked
- Michael (10/5): - Great value and the two bedroom apartment is lovely.
- MD (10/5): - No halal food nearby
- Lynn (4/5): - Lots of spiders and a mice that kept us up. Ugh.
- Christopher (10/5): - Exactly everything I needed, and not paying for anything I didn’t need. Had a great stay!!
- Alan (10/5): - Clean comfortable affordable
Good shower, hot water, good pressure
- Michael (10/5): - Quiet, very clean, and great pricing. Parking is a little tight but plentiful.
- Doug (8/5): - We had the suite and it was a delight. The suite was cleaned daily, had everything we needed to feel at home.
Some minor repairs need to be made for example the door to the bathroom though sturdy and old does not close properly. The dead bolt on the front door does not lock.
All in all it was a good stay!
- Shelli (10/5): - Quick check in process. Accommodated my request for early check in.
- KEN (10/5): - Such a nice stay. Quiet and friendly check-in. Pick up ice at the front desk. Plenty of space to walk a dog. First place in a longtime we used a key.
- John (8/5): Good to be back in NH - A dated but comfortable place to lay your head...check in was smooth and the lady behind the desk very nice. I must admit it was very peaceful. Overall I would stay again and recommend Moose Brook.
- Cheryl (10/5): - We enjoyed our trip immensely.
- Joseph (6/5): - Nice inexpensive motel, but the walls are paper-thin and I could hear the people and their TVs in neighboring rooms. Compounding the problem is the lack of AC because I had to keep the windows open and then I heard everything outside too. Another guest even walked back and forth in front of my open window making calls on his cell until I got fed up and shut the window. Otherwise, it's a nice, old-school motel.
- Steven (10/5): - Room ready and clean. Parking good, and area quiet.
- Sarah (6/5): - Basic. Clean. Worn. Pleasant reception.
- michele (8/5): - Clean room
- Robert (6/5): - This motel is very good for the value conscious traveler. The room was clean, and the linens were fresh and stain free. The physical maintenance of the room and bath were clearly done by DIY persons. A little peeling paint on the ceilings but otherwise fine.
- ciel (6/5): - When my husband asked for heat in our room, he was met with a dismissive and disrespectful response by the wife of husband/wife proprietor. The heat was finally turned on because others also requested it (it was quite cold during most of our week there. Other than that the property was quite good. I would have liked a microwave but overall a good experience marred by poor people skills.
- Gregory (8/5): Clean, comfortable, great value - This was a great little motel. Perfect, affordable base for area hiking. Very clean! Pool up and operating as per pictures. For the value consicous traveler, this can't be beat.
- Roger (10/5): - Nice Classic family run motel.
- Kathy (8/5): - Unique, quaint, older little motel. Very friendly hostess, comfortable bed. Great place to stay for the night. Good value.
- Oscar (10/5): - Easy access to trails, shopping, restaurants. Clean hotel and owners are exceedingly cordial and accommodating.
- Alan (8/5): - we just stayed overnight found every thing okay
- Anny (10/5): - Nice hotel with a functional kitchen. Old but well maintained.
- TERESA (10/5): - Imagine staying at your grandparents up north cottage. Or going back in time to enjoy a nice motorlodge. If either is your jam, you will love this place. It feels historic and is a very fun experience. No frills, typical motel, comfortable and clean. And very reasonably priced.
- Kathy (10/5): Lovely - So relaxing. If you have to travel alone you will feel so safe here. The pool is lovely and clean! The staff is welcoming. I had to work while there and needed a late check out. The were very accommodating. Great internet service if you do have to do some work.
- Brittany (10/5): - The cutest little motel in a great location. Beautiful, clean. Also crystal clear pool! We will definitely be going back
- Tyler (8/5): - It was nice
- Shelby (10/5): - Great small motel. Very clean comfortable.
- Elaine (8/5): - This is a nice family owned, close to the town of Gorham and all the outdoor activities the White Mountains have to offer roadside motel. It’s clean, has comfortable beds, nice outdoor pool, a ceiling fan and windows that open (no ac).
A hair blow dryer and shampoo & conditioner is not provided.
The walls are thin and you will be able to hear children who don’t want to sleep or a dog left in the room, if they happen to be next to you.
- Stacy (10/5): - On my route
- Kathleen (10/5): - Great place to stay for my annual hiking trip to the white mountains. The pool and grounds were meticulously kept. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and nice. Perfect.
- Douglas (8/5): - Nice quiet place for a couple of nights. Not fancy but well maintained. No AC but was cool enough to noy need it.
- Jessica (8/5): - Had a very nice 3 night stay here. Pool was refreshing and clean. Staff very friendly. Beds were comfortable. Left for activities and came back to made beds and fresh towels. Everything was wonderful, only complaint was its been very hot and there are no acs. So we had to sleep all in one room and share a fan. But regardless we would definitely stay again.
- Melissa (8/5): - The property was nice, there is a pool, places to eat are close. We stayed in the efficiency type room with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, full fridge, microwave and stove. It was really nice. The only thing i did not like was there was NO a/c. I didn't feel comfortable sleeping with the windows open. We had all the ceiling fans running on high,it did get hot in there when we slept. An a/c unit in the kitchen window would have been nice. They do have baseboard heat for when its cold.
- Scott (8/5): - Great motel, no AC, but has a pool, If you are a hiker this place would be a perfect basecamp for day hikes. Will come back again for hiking, This trip was just a quick overnight. For a very fair price we had a suite with two bedrooms and a kitchenette. Carbs within walking distance for hikers.
- Robert and Phyllis (10/5): - Owners are so kind and helpful. Very responsive and welcoming.
- Jessica (10/5): - Cute grounds, owners very friendly. The pool was clean and refreshing. The beds are comfortable, kitchen rooms very convenient and fully stocked. My family will definitely come back again!
- Thomas (10/5): - Very clean and confortable Motel.
Cozy little room in a good area, convenient to reach all major attractions .
The room has everything you need for a confortable stay.
Amazing staff.
- Pam (8/5): - Nice stay
- Jaida (10/5): -
- Larisa (10/5): - Everything good, will stay again.
- Sheri (10/5): - We loved our stay here and wished we had another night. The whole property was clean and the pool area was amazing. One thing to note is that there is no AC. We were lucky it wasn't hot at night because we'd missed that when we booked.
- Deidre (10/5): - Very nice relaxing stay at this motel, the pool area is beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The motel is older but nice, could use a few upgrades and the walls are a bit thin, you can hear people in the next rooms. As far as comfort a 3.5 and price it was a 4. Motel is located on a main thoroughfare so lots of road noise in the morning.
- Ivan (10/5): - It’s nothing fancy, but it’s spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with super friendly and helpful staff. A perfect base for exploring the White Mountains. The pool is clean, always open, and in great working order, a refreshing bonus for an evening dip in the summer.
- James (10/5): Race the Cog stay - Great place, loved it!
- Kelly (10/5): - Wonderful place to spend a few days! Rooms were very clean, pool was fantastic! From check-in to check-out it was a great experience.
- Ilana (6/5): Good for a quick stay! - Pros
Nice pool
Very nice owners
Close to a lot of attractions
Affordable
Cons
No microwave
No heat/ac
Building needs TLC
Paper thin walls
- Rick Armstrong (10/5): - pool a plus on warm day
- Anthony (6/5): - It was fine. Served its purpose for one night. Would have liked to have a/c on a hot and humid night but they had no more rooms with a/c available. There is WiFi but the signal was very week and cut out a lot.
- William (8/5): - Huge room for fair price. Small upgrades could be made like A/C in each room. A/C was in my suite, but other suites did not have one. On a 70 degree night, it is necessary.
- Mark (10/5): Feels like home - I stayed three night. It is quaint and very comfortable. Staff extremely friendly. Fresh towels everyday. 100% recommend Moose Brook. I hope to return.
- Herb (10/5): - Great price
- Kathryn (6/5): - Quaint place. Dated but charming. Very clean. There needs to be an outlet in the bathroom as the one on the light wouldn’t accommodate the hair dryer. There is a ceiling fan but no air conditioning. Internet is fast and reliable if you have to work while there.
- ray (10/5): - Super clean and within a short drive to Mount Washington and hiking trails.
- Carol (10/5): - The owner and staff could not have been more accommodating! Cute little motel.
- Kristen (10/5): - Its very comfortable
- Saskia (8/5): - Room size was great. Walls between rooms could use a little more insulation. Next door room 9.
- Aracelis (10/5): - The owners was very welcoming. Also, they work with us and allow us to stay one more night. Every time we came back to the room it was clean. I will definitely continue coming here. And I recommend this place
- W2199AYmaryb (10/5): Keep going back year after year. - This is the second year we have been there. The place is clean, the staff are wonderful. We actually me some nice friends there as well. Thank you for your hospitality. Great place to ride your ATV from, you connect right to the trails in Jericho.
- Jayne (10/5): - Traveling with my son, I appreciated the second bedroom and kitchenette at a reasonable price.
- Pauline (8/5): - It was a basic motel room, but comfortably with plenty of room, clean, quiet and comfortable.
- Kristye (10/5): Cozy and comfortable - Very cozy and comfortable! Tv, shower, all work as they should.
- Jennifer (10/5): - The staff was wonderful! The property is quiet and close to all the hiking in the White Mountains. An affordable stay for epic adventures.
- Kelly (10/5): - Very clean motel and perfect for our trip to New Hampshire. The owner helped us in mapping a trip up to Maine. When needing more ice and extra towels, she was happy to get it for us. Would definitely recommend this motel to others!!
- Vicci (10/5): - Even though the place is old, it was clean, comfortable and affordable. No frills place but cute, friendly and clean.
- randy (4/5): - Rooms are old, show signs of wear. Pretty good location though
- Kendra (8/5): - Very nice owners, good place to spend the night in between hikes, chairs out front
- david (10/5): - I was only there for one night as passing through. It was clean and convenient
- Georganne (10/5): - Sweet and quaint, very tidy and affordable. Set back from the road, so very quiet. We would definitely stay there again. Wish we could have had warm weather so we could have had an opportunity to use the beautiful pool.
- Lance (10/5): - It was clean and comfortable and convenient to pinkam notch area activities
- Patricia (6/5): - The best part was that it was very clean. Otherwise, the bathroom was very small and inconvenient; there was lots of road noise; and TV stations were mostly limited to politics, news and weather.
- David (10/5): - Great place to overnight. Price is very reasonable.
- Amanda (10/5): - A small but clean and quiet room for me and the dogs. Very close to the state park. Close to restaurants as well.
- Susan (10/5): - Excellent all around!! Very clean and affordable!! Comfortable bed.
- Monique (6/5): - The outdoor surroundings are clean, colourful and well kept.
The room decoration needs refreshing.
- Jeffrey Matthew (10/5): - Great service! Clean room!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to stay - Great place to stay! The room was clean and cozy the property was pristine. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.
- Howard (10/5): - Easy to find
Friendly staff, housekeeping very efficient
- SCOTT (10/5): - Great place, very clean, parking is tight and no A/C. Could use some updating but for the price it was excellent. Will be staying there again
- Lisa (10/5): - Quiet, safe, comfortable. Staff was super. Would stay there again.
- Nigel (10/5): - Agree with other posltive reviews.
- Jessica (10/5): - No frills, no A/C, bathroom door doesn’t stay shut, but clean, daily maid service, and fantastic base for hiking the Whites. Good value as long as it’s not too hot for no A/C.
- CHARLES (10/5): - The young lady who checked me in was very cheerful and helpful. Very eager to give me the best parking options for my motorcycle. I would recommend this venue.
- Joe (8/5): - Old but clean and inexpensive
- PHILIP (10/5): - The hotel was clean which is the most important thing to me. It was very reasonably priced, too. It’s also conveniently close to town.
