• Mette (9/5): Oikein onnistunut! - Sijainti oli erinomainen lähellä ravintoloita ja bussilinjaa, mutta rauhallisella pikkukadulla. Huone oli viihtyisä ja henkilökunta ystävällistä. Autokyyti lentokentälle ja takaisin oli sujuva ja kuski tuli ajallaan. Huoneeseen sai vain yhden avaimen ja ovi piti siis aina kääntää lukkoon avaimella, joten piti liikkua samaan aikaan tai sopia kulkemisista.

La mia stanza aveva un bagno minuscolo, lavandino e box doccia molto piccoli e senza la possibilità di appoggiare le cose, in più lo sciacquone prima di scaricare acqua e contenuto tirava tutto su. Le altre stanze invece hanno un bagno molto grande e funzionale, sono stato sfortunato.

• Ralitsa (10/5): We truly recommend. - We are thrilled with this stunning city of love! Rome !!! The experience was truly fantastic, thanks to our choice to stay at this guest house. Our room was extremely clean, cozy, and functional. We lacked nothing because it had everything necessary for a comfortable and pleasant stay. We give the highest rating for cleanliness - a well-maintained and clean place. As for the location, we can say that it was THE BEST- located in the heart of central Rome. Very close to attractions, cafes, shops, restaurants, a pharmacy, a supermarket, public transport, and at the same time on a very quiet street - it was as if we had escaped the noise of the city, yet we were only 1 minute away from it. We were very impressed with the hostess's attitude: she took very good care of us and responded immediately to all our requests. On the last day, we had a problem with the tap in the bathroom – we asked the hostess for help and she responded immediately and solved the problem. Thank you for the wonderful experience! Nothing

• Helena (10/5): Amazing location and I definitely recommend it. - Vicolo del Lupo Guesthouse is a hidden gem in Rome. We stayed 4 days in December and everything run very well. Location is perfect, a walk distance from Piazza di Spagna and the metro station. If you like to walk, you can visit all the main spots in Rome by foot from the guesthouse (Coliseu, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Vatican city) and take advantage of the nice view during the way. There's no breakfast included and you access the accommodation by yourself, but the instructions were so clear that all occurred very smoothly. You also have a lot of bars and restaurants in the area, but the hotel rooms are very silent. A special note to Marta who assisted us during our stay, being very friendly and efficient in helping us with all our questions and also in scheduling our airport transfers to the accommodation.
• Shelley (10/5): Wonderful place to stay! - The location is fabulous. It’s only a block away from the Spanish steps, great shopping, cute restaurants and gelato spots. It was a clean, spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Marta was great to work with and responded to all our needs. She even reserved us a ride to the airport where the driver picked us up on time in front of the guesthouse. It alleviated the stress of trying to get an Uber or taxi at a busy time of the day. Although no breakfast is available, croissants and other treats are supplied as well as tea and coffee. Marta’s helper, Lulu (please forgive us if we got his name wrong) was very friendly and helpful also. We highly recommend Vicolo del Lupo Guesthouse. It was a great experience! At times we could hear the people next door or in the foyer.

• RENATA (10/5): BELLISSIMA ESPERIENZA NEL CUORE DI ROMA - Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in questa struttura e non possiamo che recensirla positivamente. Il punto di forza è la posizione strategica a pochissimi minuti a piedi da Piazza di Spagna (e quindi dalla linea metro A) ma in una via quasi pedonalizzata e quindi molto silenziosa. La camera era molto pulita e fornita di acqua e brioches per la colazione. Il personale gentilissimo! Consiglierò sicuramente a parenti e amici questo B&B!

It’s beautiful, with high ceilings, fresh linens and stunning pieces in the room and hallways. Checkin and out was super simple and easy. Lovely restaurants and boutiques were right outside. • William (8/5): - Marta was very helpful, particularly in getting taxis set up for us. The A/C was a little difficult. The unit is high up on the wall and partially obstructed by another wall, and the remote control seemed to not work well. With help from the staff, it worked out fine, though.

• Anne (10/5): - My husband and I came to Rome as our first stop on our honeymoon and we couldn’t be happier to have chosen this property. Our flight got in around 6am in the morning and while normally check in is at 2pm, Marta was able to get us a very early check in so that we could rest for a few hours when we arrived. She also was able to help set up transportation from the airport and it couldn’t have been easier! The taxi driver had our names written and was easy to find as soon as we grabbed our luggage from the airport. Marta was extremely responsive, helpful, and kind. The room itself was so beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and there was air conditioning. The location was absolutely perfect too! As soon as we stepped out the door, there were so many options for different cafes, restaurants and shops to walk to. We felt so lucky to be so close to some of the most beautiful parts of Rome too. Because of the location, my husband and I were able to walk 5 minutes down the road late at night to spend some time at the Spanish steps after the crowds had left. I always felt safe inside and outside of this property. The cleaner was very kind and always there to help us if we needed any additional towels. I can’t recommend this property enough! This property and the people who run it will always stick in our memories as part of what made our honeymoon so special. Thank you so much!!

The location is great because it's close to a lot of things. However, it's a very crowded and touristic neighborhood. If you like shopping, it's great, if you want something a bit more quiet, look around in Monti.

• Louise (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Rome - The location of the guesthouse is perfect, near the Metro A Line, close to a supermarket and surrounded by restaurants. The room was clean and presented beautifully. The laneway is very quiet, with no through traffic or crowds of people. The small amount of noise from the restaurants around the corner was only audible in the early evenings. As a woman travelling with my child I felt very safe walking around the area even in the evenings. We loved our stay here.

The room is clean and well equipped, beds are comfy. Marta is very welcoming and helpful. We loved this guesthouse and would book here again.

But the walls were extremely thin and therefore you heard everything that happened in the foajé, loud enough to wake you up. Cleaning was mediocre, the fan in the toilet was dusty and there was hair in the shower drain.

Help with luggage and all queries. Would recommend Vicolo del Lupo to anyone visiting Rome. Having to go out for breakfast but after the first day we bought food which we kept in the fridge so no real problem.
• Seonwoo (9/5): Would recommend to others and would be happy to stay here for my trips in Rome :) - The owner and the staff were very kind and the location was magnificent! Right at the doorsteps of the Spanish steps. Nice spacious rooms and the interior was elegant. Like all buildings in the historic quarter, the sound travels a little between rooms. It really depends on the next door - one night it was a little difficult and the other night I slept like a baby.

It is nestled in such a beautiful neighborhood full of restaurants shopping, etc. The bed, bedding, towels, etc. were lovely! Also noteworthy is how clean this place is, so refreshing to find. Marta is a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful! This a beautiful oasis. Only negatives and these are minor: We were in the 'White' room and it is quaint, but very small, typical European - manageable for 2. Window overlooks a not so picturesque 'courtyard'. All the rooms have color names, so you might want to get more info on which one you are booking. However, if you're out all day and want a cozy, clean, beautifully situated place to explore this frenetic city, this is well worth booking!
