Guest Reviews
- Nicole (10/5): Great cabin in quiet campground - Excellent cabin. Very nice and very clean. We were 2 adults and 4 children and had plenty of space. Loved the "back yard" of the cabin. Lots of grassy room for kids to play. Nice fire pit, picnic table and charcoal grill. People who worked there could not have been nicer. Very kind and helpful. Our cabin was very far from the highway so we did not hear traffic noise at all but I suspect that some of the RV sites closer to the road would hear traffic noise. Overall a quiet and peaceful campground. Would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cabin was great! - The cabin we stayed in was cozy! Just right for our 2 day stay. The kids enjoyed themselves as it also had a playground on site.
- Kenneth (10/5): Cabin Heaven in Shenandoah Valley - Great cabins. The campground is very close to the highway, but in the cabin, no problem. Beautiful, new, clean, and spacious. Top it off that you are near many, many of Virginia's natural wonders, and you're ready to go. Shenandoah Caverns is literally down the block. We'll be back!
- becky (10/5): - Cabin was very comfy and neat. My kids LOVED it!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We arrived close to 6pm and the front desk had been closed. They left information to the cabin we are staying on the door window, which was convenient for us.
- Melissa (10/5): Home away from home - My husband and I had the best experience at Shenandoah valley camp ground. Everything was clean and exsessible. The front desk agent was very helpful and polite. Would go back anytime.
- Graham (8/5): Nice, very welcoming - The cabin is relatively new which was great. Very quite area even though you're close to the interstate. The owners were very polite and offered great service.
- Brandon (10/5): Very nice cabins - We really enjoyed this campground. We stay at a lot of KOA's, and the cabin here was much nicer & larger than the average "4 person" cabins at KOA Campgrounds. We were pleasantly surprised & would definitely stay here again.
- Kenneth (10/5): Quaint mountain cabin clean and sorted. - No complaints very clean and sorted. Everything you need in a camp ground and more.
- Ronald (10/5): Great Cabin for low price - the cabin was nice and clean the staff was great and the price was right it was a nice getaway for a low price. I would highly recommend the campground for someone who is not looking for anything fancy but wants a clean cabin with air conditioning for the summer heat.
- Mark (8/5): Great Campground - First time camping with the family. The cabin was nice and clean, comfortable, and looked just as advertised. The campground website was a bit confusing about the bathroom situation-- they are SHARED BATHROOMS, but they were pretty clean. (Orbitz is clear, we just didn't see that originally) The pool was great. We really liked how the campground had a lot of games and activities throughout. They had corn hole, put put golf, horseshoes, foosball, playground, etc. They also had a bunch of pool toys and things that were common for everyone to share. This was really nice since you can only pack up so much stuff, but they had a lot of things to keep the kids entertained. They played a movie at night in the pavilion too. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back.
- Danielle (10/5): Wonderful alternative to a hotel - I reserved a rustic cabin on the morning of our arrival. The owner promptly emailed me to make sure I understood that the cabins did not have bedding. While I did not see the email before my arrival, it was not a problem for us - although it may have been for some. The hospitality was wonderful, the cabin was immaculate and well kept, the bathrooms were spotless. I couldn't have asked for a nicer "rustic cabin" experience. Well, okay, the location wasn't great since it was VERY close to the highway but we will return every year on our way through Virginia. We LOVED it!
