Guest Reviews
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Nice stay
- Luis (6/5): - There was no one at the front desk to check in just a cell # taped to the front desk to call had to wait for someone to get there. Bathroom sink was stopped up and not draining found someone finally at the front desk and asked them to get it fixed. Two nights later sink was still not fixed. Just ridiculous there so many other rooms available that we could have been moved to. Very disappointing.
- Donna (8/5): - The hotel was clean, comfortable and great area.
- Danielle (6/5): - This is a nice hotel for a very quick visit. Although clean rooms, there is no room service to clean rooms and renew towels do not come unless asked or when you check out.
- Sandra (10/5): - Very nice
- Matthew (10/5): - Very small room though....
- Rolando (10/5): - Short walk to the boardwalk, beach, restaurants, and bars. Short drive to anywhere else. Very good for the price and will definitely stay again.
- Ryan (8/5): - Close to the boardwalk, close to the beach but still a very long walk to the water.
- Tatiana (6/5): - We booked 1 bedroom with the living room suite. The overall hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. The room looked renovated and clean except for the couch. The only problem we had was the front desk. The guy named Andy needs some extra training on the customer service. He was rude, unprofessional and unhelpful.
- KATHRYN (4/5): - Staff was rude and indifferent when present but often not even at the front desk. There were supposed to be free muffins/pastries for breakfast and when we asked for them one morning, we were told there were none, with no apology for the inconvenience. The floors were FILTHY throughout the suite, there were three seemingly inexperienced cleaners seen on the property - they probably never actually cleaned anything and no one ever checked their work, or lack thereof. The upholstery on the sofa felt grimy and the cushions were very hard and uncomfortable. I guess you get what you pay for - this made me realize it’s definitely worth it to spend more for a clean and comfortable hotel. In sum, I do not plan to return to the Vibes and cannot recommend it.
- Bartholomew (2/5): - The noise was unbelievable. They were hosting a firemen's convention and people were yelling and shouting outside the room at 2:00 a.m. Staff would not quiet people down.
- Tamika (10/5): - My daughter and I had a fantastic stay! The staff is very friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms and beddings were immaculately clean! This will definitely be our hotel of choice whenever we visit Wildwood!
- Kelly (8/5): - This property was in a good location.
- Nicole (10/5): - Property was great. Great location, great staff. Just wish the rooms were a little bit bigger and some of the outlets didn’t work. Otherwise everything was great and we can’t wait to come back next summer!
- Vanessa (2/5): - I don’t like to leave reviews especially negative ones because any business can have a bad day however, this was a little crazy considering the amount of money being charged. So I do not recommend the villa what so ever. Attached are just some pictures of what they got going on and let’s just say it nothing like the pictures online. Also not to mention it sleeps 10 with only one bathroom. It was not clean when we arrived, chips on the floor, and you could tell the floor in the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned probably ever. The plumbing in the house seems like it’s going to give out any minute. When you flush the toilet, the bathroom sink pushed water out from the pipes. The kitchen sink was leaking from the faucet and the bottom. All the doors going to the outside had huge gaps underneath so it never felt fully cool on the inside. None of the rooms have TVs in them which okay we could deal but if and when they do come and service the house some of the staff is not very friendly or helpful. Front staff isn’t very helpful either. We told the girl that our cards had been deactivated because all 3 were and she kept telling us that they weren’t deactivated when we tried all 3 cards and all kept turning red and wouldn’t open the door. We called to get an extra pan cus at this point we at least wanted to cook a nice meal to all share and make the most of it but of course the girl at the front desk was not very helpful and simply stated what is in the unit is all they have.
- Joseph (8/5): - Hot water went out during our stay but the staff responded immediately to correct the situation and within an hour and a half hot water was restored. Bathroom tile is made of fabric not suitable for sink or shower area. Pool water was very clean. Guests are smoking outside the hotel but near the front entrance and pool area which should be curtailed. Hallways
need to be sweeped and trash on floor picked up. There are not enough electrical outlets in the room for the lights and appliances demonstrated by power strips connected to extension cords. Great location and close to everything!
- Stephanie (10/5): - Great location. Close to everything
- Denise (10/5): - My family and I stumbled across this place after leaving another hotel down the street, due to the cleanliness. Vibes hotel did not disappoint. Their pictures online matched what I saw in person. Upon entrance the room was beautifully decorated and it smelled like ocean breeze with cleaning solution. It was a breath of fresh air.
- sharon (8/5): - The property was nicely maintained. Two blocks from the beach. I had a problem with ants in the room. The matter was taken care of in minutes. No other problems with the room.
- John (6/5): Tiny room - We had a King Size bed in a tiny room. If you sat at the foot of the bed, you can touch the bureau. You couldn't walk past the refrigerator if the door was open. Very tiny tlny room.
- Taurean (2/5): - Will never boom
- Sara (2/5): - the second I walked into this place it was dirty and then when I got into the room it was updated but dirty the floors were so gross that our socks turned brown and when I walked around barefoot there was all sorts of things getting stuck to my feet. The sink was clogged and would barely drain. There was weird things stuck onto the walls that looked like old crusty boogers. The room was gross. For 460 a night I would think they would be better taken care of.
- Christopher (6/5): Not terrible, but leaves a lot to be desired. - This is our 2nd year in a row staying at the Vibes Hotel, as the price and close location to the boardwalk is a plus! This year left a lot to be desired. We booked the same exact room (King Suite) as last year and ran into the same issue, which lets us know it was not fixed from last year. The couch in the living room is sinking in the middle as if it’s broken or something. I let the staff know about this and they said they would look into it, but no one ever came to look into it during our entire 5 day stay.
Not sure what it is, but we went to sleep feeling sticky everyday. Could be the sheets, but it definitely wasn’t the best night’s rest we expected. I think we had this same complaint from last year, but this year felt even more weird.
Overall cleanliness this year wasn’t the greatest either. Underneath the vanity was a sock from the previous guests (I’m assuming, not sure how long it was under there as it was very dusty) and the area of the vanity where we grab towels was dusty as well. So we went out to grab our own towels as we didn’t trust the cleanliness of those that were provided.
Our stay last year may have been a bit better due to it being their first year being in operation after revamping/remodeling from the hotel that was there before, but one would expect consistency on that front.
One thing I can say is the front desk staff is always pleasurable. Very nice and accommodating. Hopefully the problems can be address so this can be our yearly spot!
- Yamile (8/5): - Good location
- Christine (10/5): Will go again! - The hotel was modern yet warm decor; the rooms were super clean and fresh; the location is excellent as its 2 short blocks from boardwalk/beach and near dining. It was quiet - aside from loud children LOLOL; the pool area was clean and the umbrellas and lounge chairs were plenty.
- Shirlene (10/5): - I really like the area where this hotel was located. Everything was just a few steps away and the rooms were nice.
- Miguel (8/5): - Was ok missing couple things
- Verified traveler (6/5): Typical Small Beach Hotel - Nothing spectacular about this place; though the pictures make it look more 4-5 star, it’s a 2-3 star place at best. We could hear the neighbors all night and early in the morning (if you go on a quiet weekend you might luck out). There are 2 pools which is nice because 1 was in the shade and 1 wasn’t so we could pick which would be more comfortable. The room was small, TV didn’t work (and the remote was so grossly sticky when I picked it up…), the “complementary gift” was strange (an apple, granola bar, and a bag of chips?), the whole place gave off “okay enough” vibes. For the price I would’ve rather stayed at a nicer place but in this day & age this is probably the best you’ll get for less than $1k a night.
- Parviz (10/5): Seeking sunshiny days - We were upgraded, we enjoyed our stay the bed was comfortable
- Ann Marie (4/5): - Floors were dirty and hole in the ceiling in the shower. Parking spaces were too small for suvs. For the price would have expected a cleaner and nicer place.
- Erica (10/5): - This property was perfect for our short stay. conveniently located a block from the boardwalk and beach. updated rooms were a plus. Our kids loved the pool. Pricing was also reasonable. friendly staff. I will definitely be staying here again.
- Lester (10/5): - …
- Erika (8/5): - Every thing was clean. They had a water dispenser and ice machine. The pool was clean. Complimentary muffins and coffee was great. I wish it had a restaurant.
- Briana (8/5): - The room was overall good. The beds not the most comfy but not terrible. The location is great. Staff was friendly. More expensive than I would like. Positive experience for the most part.
- Chudney (10/5): - Astetically pleasing, very modern feel. Spacious rooms. Excellent customer service.
- Maria (8/5): - We liked that the hotel was very clean Friendly accommodating staff. Close proximity to Beach entrance.
We didn't like the parking situation. It was not great. Limited spaces and the small parking spaces were hard to maneuver.
Coffee and prepacked store bought muffins available for breakfast so plan to eat at one of the local restaurants if you want an actual breakfast.
- Colton (8/5): - Great location, decent hotel, gets the job done for a quick vacation
- Lisa (6/5): - Not bad. Kind of overpriced for what you get
- Wilson (6/5): - It was ok for what we needed. Rooms were pretty pricy compared to other better options. We made due. I wouldnt stay here again tho.
- duane (4/5): - room was very noisy, room was damp all the time. lots of little flies.
- Eileen (8/5): - We generally felt good about our stay. Room was clean and staff were helpful. We had a major issue with our room getting cleaned. We had requested housekeeping and were told we were on the schedule but returned after 5PM and found a dirty room. Staff apologized and did send housekeeping over right away to address the problem , but it did create a major problem for our schedule for the day.
- Joel (4/5): - The room pictured nicely but it was dirty and worn out furniture. Floors were dirty even in bathroom. Sheets were poor quality.
- Ivy (6/5): - Although the rooms were clean and up to date they were tiny.
- Mary (2/5): - By far the dirtiest hotel room I have ever been in, absolutely gross. Our room literally shared a wall with the reception area- we heard every single person coming and going throughout the night, it was awful.
- Karen (2/5): - The place looked nice from the outside but there was no hot water for showers and the fridge in the room didn’t get cold. We told the desk and they did nothing for us.
- Jonathan (8/5): - Very clean. Super convenient and friendly staff. Easy walk to boardwalk. Only gripe would be room was a bit tight with no real counter space, same in bathroom. No sink space. Only two outlets for charging. But overall grat stay.
- CANDICE (6/5): - Great location! The room was fine, but it wasn't regularly cleaned, despite our request. Parking is tight at the property. Having a small kitchen was ideal for our family.
- Patti (8/5): - This was the first time we stayed at the Vibes hotel in Wildwood. Based on the website info, we had higher expectations than were realized. Being a Wyndham property we expected a higher quality facility. I don’t feel that the amount we paid (for four nights) was comparable to what we received.
We stayed in a king room, very very small. The room with two queen beds would probably have been more suited for me and my 6 foot tall husband. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. There was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom.
There was a security issue. There was no lock mechanism for the sliding glass balcony door. We were on the second floor so we assumed no one would be climbing the wall to get into the room. However, they should install one.
One of the swimming pools was unacceptable for swimming. The sides and bottom of the smaller pool were quite slimy. And the ladder to get out of the deeper end of that pool was broken. However, when we brought it to the attention of a hotel staff member, they immediately repaired it.
As a rather new property there are many improvements yet to be made.
- Kimberly (4/5): - The rooms are small for pricing. There is no communication at checkin to tell us what to expect. No cleaning of rooms no replacing wet towels etc. I doubt i will stay again.
- Sheldon (2/5): - Nothing
- Jeanne (8/5): Great staff! - Nice property. Challenging for handicapped individuals - long ramp.
Staff very responsive to questions & concerns.
- Maria (10/5): - I definitely book again
- Vaquana (10/5): - what a great experience we visited from ny for my niece bday, if i knew it was this nice i would have stayed for the weekend. friendly and reliable staff right off the boardwalk perfect location
- Stephanie (10/5): - Checked in late at night, front desk was very accommodating. Offered two types of rooms, came and helped with tv, offered a later checkout when asked. Lobby was clean, served coffee, water bottles and muffins at breakfast. All around great stay for a last minute one night stay.
- Alma (2/5): - My room was next to linen room and there was dirty linen around the door to my room . The pool was dirty and they never came to clean it or around it . Some people were smoking weed while we were in the pool area ! Yea I won’t return !
- Kathleen (6/5): - I booked this trip last minute and I can’t help to feel like I got robbed! It was 1200 for 2 nights (yes it was July 4th) however, I have never seen a hotel room so small in my life. We had a room with two double beds- a family of four. There was nowhere to put down your bags, no space to get dressed. I had to sleep with my face 1 inch away from the air conditioner that was blasting on me all night. I could not get out of the bed without having to climb over my husband. I have two small kids and they usually like to snack in the morning while we get dressed for breakfast but I couldn’t let them because the only place where they could eat is the bed.
It was newly renovated and could have been cleaned a little bit better. I ended up taking a towel and cleaning the floors myself because there was a lot of hair and dust around.
The staff was very nice. The parking lot was nerve-racking.
This was our first time in Wildwood and won’t be our last, but I will not return to this hotel.
- Chanet (10/5): - Everytime I stay I never have an issue.. great service
- Cynthia (4/5): - Room was dirty, especially the floors. My white socks turned black in the matter of minutes. For paying the amount of money that I did I expect to have at least clean floors.
- Kui (8/5): - Been going to Wildwood for Beach Blast the last 6 yrs or so. This is by far the cleanest property. Room is a tad bit small but the big bathroom makes up for it. Property appears pretty new, I hope they can maintain the property and not let it run down like most other properties around. I have every intention of returning next year. Staff was also very friendly and nice. Check-in was so easy and fast as they offer pre-check-in via text message. Would recommend this property.
- Christine (10/5): - Great new hotel. Very clean and in a prime location.
- Chanet (10/5): - Everything was perfect
- Derek (2/5): - This property is not what is listed on Expedia. It is extremely small. It is an old motel with a face lift. The door to our room didn’t even meet the floor there was a gap. It has paper then walls all the way around so it is noisy with people. Will never stay there again and not recommend it to anyone.
- Lori (6/5): - There is no elevator. The stairs were steep. Minimal room to walk around the bed. Streaming television only. The mattress was amazing though!
- Saraya (8/5): - Great staff and beautiful, comfy room !!
- Adriana (10/5): - Super clean, comfortable beds, only two blocks from boardwalk and like 5 minutes walk to the convention center. Hot coffee, tea and muffins 24/7. Excellent customer service!
- kristy (10/5): - Excellent little motel. Very convenient to the boardwalk. The hotel was very clean and seemed newer or renovated.
- Lorrie (10/5): - Great location. Convenience for boardwalk and dining.
- sarika (10/5): - My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at the Vibes hotel. It was clean, lovely staff, and even gave us a complementary late checkout. perfect location and great for a quick weekend getaway to wildwood!
- Veronika (8/5): - Great place to stay for a quick trip and the location was right on the boardwalk
- Iesha (10/5): - Mona is so amazing! This property was clean and cute! Very close to the boardwalk.
- Jason (10/5): - Very enjoyable stay
- Melisa (4/5): - The couch is not a convertible to bed, it is a couch with trundle that is almost is same height. No bedding for couch upon check-in. No kitchen accessories to clean the dishes and pans upon check in. A lot of hair from prior guest located on the floor of the living room area, Horrid view from window (back of property storage supply area. I did request a first floor and was assigned first floor, so that was nice. Employees were pleasant.
- Traci (8/5): - Clean room
- Carlos (10/5): - Rooms were modern and clean. Close to the boardwalk
- Melissa (6/5): - Extremely small rooms. Friendly staff .
- Regine (10/5): - Cute room. Nice decor… gets the job done.
- Rey (8/5): - The hotel property is good, clean and only a short 5-minute walk to the boardwalk. Coffee and muffins are available for breakfast. Parking is good although a little bit tight. However, compared with other hotels nearby, the parking is better. One of the pools was not clean Monday morning, Memorial Day. We saw many birds (?gulls) in the pool itself early in the morning probably before the regular day hotel staff arrived.
The big letdown was the presence of other hotel guests, mostly college-age kids, who were rowdy and uncaring of other sleeping guests. Things calmed down about 3 Monday morning. We didn’t sleep well but then this was Memorial weekend. We can only wonder how worse the situation is during Spring break.
- Valerie (8/5): - unfortunately we probably ended there at a time when young crowds tend to go. The experience at night at the hotel werent great (loud from other guest talking & doors slamming throughout all hours of thr night)but other than that the customer service everything was five star
- Jennifer (10/5): - As far as Wildwood motels go, this one is definitely much more modern. This is our second year in a row staying here and would definitely come again. It is walking distance to the boardwalk (2 blocks), so the location is great. Stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Beds were very soft. The only thing is that our bathroom door didn’t shut entirely or lock, but didn’t bother us.
- Barbara (10/5): - Room was clean and location was excellent
- Jameela (2/5): - There were beer cans all on the steps. The sofa bed had stains and crumbs in it. The sheets had stains. I was scared to sleep in this place. I ended up switching to another hotel the next day. The phones didn’t work every time I try to call downstairs, it was busy. I was disappointed, I expected more from a Wyndham hotel.
- Dayamarie (10/5): - Great experience.No complaints
- Ed (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay at The Vibes Hotel. It was very pleasant, the property is well maintained, and the staff is very kind.
- Jackie (10/5): - I really like the hotel. Check in was smooth and staff was friendly. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.
- David (10/5): - Close to the boardwalk
- Katherine (10/5): - Seems newly renovated! Floors were a little dirty but it’s expected for the area with all the sand. Great location! Quick walk to the boardwalk.
- Carol (8/5): - property was suprisingly awesome. Will stay again
- Domenic (8/5): - When we checked in the front desk employee was curious and pleasant. They assigned us a room which when we entered it was clear that it was not cleaned by housekeeping from the last guest. Once we brought it to the attention of the front desk they quickly reassigned us a different room which was good to go.
- Ramon (10/5): - Close to boardwalk and shopping.
- Laura (10/5): - Stayed for 3 nights for my daughter’s color guard competition. Clean, nice room for my son and I. 2 blocks to the boardwalk, could easily walk anywhere we needed
- todd (10/5): - Loved the retro style small but well equipped and very comfortable and clean
- Macada (10/5): - Clean, nice size bathroom
- Paulina (10/5): - We definitely come back good if you stay with small kids -
- Radiesha (8/5): - The rooms are very small. The photos could be deceiving
- Malik (10/5): - Great place to stay in Wildwood. Close to the beach and multiple restaurants. The hotel has been recently updated and felt cozy.
- Geoff (4/5): - I paid for this stay expecting to get at least breakfast, and maybe even to be able to use the pool, but wasn't able to get either. I would have stayed somewhere else had I known I couldn't get any amenities.
- Steven (8/5): - Nice clean and convenient
- Jonathan (10/5): - Designed well looks like a 4 or 5 star hotel.
- Cheryl (6/5): - There was trush under the bed
- Sarah (10/5): - Everyone was very nice, easy to access, and everything was clean.
