- Adam (10/5): - We had a few issues with the Fantasia room we initially started with. However, we spoke with our guy Gavilin to discuss our options. He was able to locate us a room in Esmeralda for a small upgrade charge. Once we were situated in our new Esmeralda room, our family vacation was perfect. We enjoyed all of the Esmeralda staff and our spa sessions were incredible.
- Stacie (10/5): - We were very nervous for our stay after reading and reviews. We are frequent travelers. The rooms are a tad outdated but they are CLEAN!! The maids do a wonderful job. We saw staff members working on the hotel around the clock on updates. The food options at the buffet were good. It was tasty. The kids, loved every second. The staff was so friendly and nice with the children it was amazing. They truly look like they care that the kids have an amazing time. The entertainment as well is great. They had cute shows and lots of things to do during the day. This is the only resort we went to where 2/4 of us received bug bites so definitely take bug spray just in case. We would come back again!

This is our second time here and look forward to staying at the other Bahia Principe properties
- Larissa Colon (8/5): - El hotel en general es excelente para familias con niños, los restaurantes con reserva exquisitos, los buffet de desayuno, almuerzo y cena muy variados y comida de calidad. Debería mejorar la atención al cliente y la amabilidad de bartenders y meseros. Hubo sus excepciones claro está de algunos meseros y meseras que nos atendieron muy bien pero fueron la minoría. Las actividades de día muy buenas, y la piscina es bellísima y muy grande. En las noches los show son bastante promedios, nada muy espectacular. Recomendación cambiar los muebles de ratán, los cojines de las sillas en el área del lobby donde te sientes te da rash la madera.

- Gloria Veronica (10/5): - I stayed at this resort for 7 days with my three children and we had an amazing time, they were offered kid friendly cocktails the staff were so nice and had activities in the main pool. Water park and access to multiple resorts walking distance. I would recommend this resort to families

- Simindokht (4/5): - Arriving at the airport in Punta Cana was a headache. I need to do a better job improving the airport. Airport has a mixup open and closed areas where warm arrogates in the places that are condition and makes it very humid. The passport check is too long simply put and also the buses to come and pick you up from the airplane simply in convenience that’s for the hotel itself had a lot of amenities for children. You could also access other restaurants, but here’s the issue you had all of the travellers in the hotel booking the same restaurants so all the restaurants pretty much booked except the crappy one. We had to use tire buffet all the time. Staff are very slow and most do but speak good English even at front desk

- Mary (2/5): - The hotel staff are not friendly at all , items got stolen by the pool, bathroom has no cold water , we would shower before going to the room, pillows stinks, water park was closed, the reason I chose this hotel was water activity for my 2 years old granddaughter, will never go back again, But if you are interested in local culture go ahead they get very cheap deal to spend weekends there with their loud radio by the pool

- Nickesha (4/5): - The room and the property is outdated and needs updating. The jet tub in the room was so discolored that I thought it was dirty and told my family not to touch it. The bathroom smelled like sewage after every shower. The smell then made the entire room reek, which made it difficult to relax in the room. The shower leaked and that was reported four times before someone finally checked and said he'd be back in the morning to fix it, but we didn't see him again, so we had to keep requesting towels to put on the floor to stop the water from pooling and creating a slip hazard. Many times housekeeping only made the bed, but didn't restock the mini bar, didn't provide face cloths, and didn't empty the trash. I would not return.

- Awilda Ruiz (10/5): - Ha sido una bella experiencia. El hotel es muy bonito, moderno y limpio. Puedes visitar todos los hoteles cercanos con mucha facilidad e incluso utilizar todas sus facilidades y restaurantes. Hay transporte en todo momento en diversos puntos de los hoteles para recorrerlos con facilidad. Al reservar con Expedia nos dieron un pase de VIP y tuvimos acceso a todo con mucha facilidad, incluso pudimos entrar a un restaurante sin reservar. La comida en los restaurantes es fenomenal. El servicio es fantástico y realmente es el mejor hotel que he visitado en RD. Los parques acuáticos son muy buenos para los niños. Tuvimos una suite con vista al castillo, gracias a la reserva por Expedía, amamos nuestra experiencia.

- Yohan Rafael (10/5): - My family amd I included our child love thos resort, we had an extremely great time and the staff was absolutely wonderful, i would to thank Juan, Disney, Yohannna, Kennedy, Jhoan, luis at the bar our cleaning lady, the waitresses at the restaurants and at the buffet they were absolutely wonderful and friendly and helpful with all our needs.Thank you guys for such a great time and we will definitely visit this resort again and again, the service was priceless.

He is a kind, friendly and professional person. All staff are kind and proffessional and I Would like to come back again. The only bad thing is that my room Had cockroaches in the restroom.
- EMILY (8/5): - Juan at the Front Desk is all I have to say! He made our stay so memorable with his willingness to go above and beyond. We had so much fun both at the resort and when we ventured out. Engracia in housekeeping was amazing as well!
- Telecia (10/5): - First I must say this was our first time being in Dominica Republic. Staying at Bahia Principe Fantasia Resort was the best choice we've made. Saying that to say it was amazing. The lobby was beautiful the staffs doing check ins and out they handled that smoothly and seemless. The pool, kids club, the entertainment department everything was GREAT.. My only problem was the room they gave me first walking in smell of paint on the first floor and i just didn't like it so i had to pay to get a room that my kids would love and that's on the second floor and it was great..the room service i had to ask for more waah clothes and towels because its 4 person and they kept on giving 3 each etc...But it was great we do miss it there we didn't want to leave but we are coming back soon. Thanks alot for the hospitality

- Karen (6/5): - People are very nice and also their employees. Unfortunately this place there is No Elevator at all and need to be Upgraded! I book my reservation because they had a bowling alley , said it was Open ! They where closed .No Activity for teen kids or children older then 8 year old.

It was one of the restaurants where they serve that steak and lobster stuff was great but other than that, you don’t get the good service Pools Don’t even have a lifeguard. And the one important thing I don’t know why is it like that but any trains that they serve? It’s super sweet. It just feels like they wanna poison everyone.

- Fidel (10/5): - I liked the entertainment options that they had, for all ages. The hotel room though had issues with the bathroom. The water would not come out hot or drain in the shower. Fortunately I got that somewhat fixed but water temperatures were an issue. The door lock on the bathroom kept falling off too. Over all the property looked nice but certainly needs a refreshment. Facilities and structures appear old and worn down if carefully looked at. The service though and the spirit of the employees that work there is amazing. We interacted with so many of them and they are authentically fun people with fun energy! The variety and accessibility of food and entertainment was amazing as well. There was a lot of seaweeds on the beach, so I recommend putting a net out in the water a few hundred feet to stop the seaweed from covering the beach.

- Ismael (8/5): - El sistema de aires acondicionados no estaban funcionando como corresponde tanto en los cuartos como en los restaurantes. Se pasaba mucha calor y era incómodo. Los chóferes del transporte interno que iba destinado a las facilidades del Hotel Fantasía no brindaban el servicio que uno esperaba, no te querían tomar en las paradas y solo te decían “espera el otro”, paso con nosotros como con otros huéspedes. En otras paradas de los otros hoteles mucho más amables y siempre nos recogían.
- Lillian (10/5): - Todo el personal en general fue muy atento y amable pero en especial al staff del departamento Cocoro del bar piscina (Arismendi, Dilcia, Marta) y su manager Víctor que fue súper amable y atento. Recomendado 100%.

- Danúbia (8/5): - The hotel is good, the cleaning ladies and staff are super polite, and the restaurants and food are great. The room really has humidity issues. And the most frustrating thing was not being able to enjoy the sea, which was full of seaweed. But overall, we really enjoyed it.
- Ervis (6/5): - Third bed was terrible, felt like you were laying on top of a piece of wood. Hotel housekeeper terrible, wouldn’t replenished/stock enough towels per headcount intentionally. She would play the “not understanding” games even when translating in Spanish. I don’t think she ever mopped the floor during our stay. Never cleaned on time.

- Gladis E (6/5): - My air conditioner wasn’t working properly, they came to my room the first day looked at it and did nothing, the 2nd day still not working they came out again and didn’t fix it, the 3rd day again came to my room and didn’t fix it. It never got colder than 22 Celsius and had to put on the ceiling fan which made noise in order to sleep comfortably. My daughter and her family were in the other building and she was terribly bitten by what we think were bedbugs my husband had a few.

- Delba (10/5): - If you’re looking for a family friendly resort with tons of activities for children of all ages whilst also enjoying adult time, this is the place to book! The drinks were amazing, kids club opened from 9am-6pm with a full day of activities! Gives you plenty of time to have quality time with your spouse. Make sure you book alacart reservations through the app as soon as you’re able to pre-check in which is 7-10 days in advance. We booked VIp so we were able to enjoy all resorts attached but honestly our main resort fantasia was the best for our family. Room service was great and definitely life saving. Clean property and great amenities. The beach was okay due to the amount of seaweed (because of the season) it was hard to enjoy but there are plenty of pools and the sand is still gorgeous. The service at the buffet was a hit or miss, the food at the buffet was a 6/10, the steak house was 8/10, Mexican restaurant was 8/10 and the paradiso Italian was 9/10. To get real Dominican food you will have to eat off the resort. Other than that I had an amazing time with my family, I say Book book book. And make sure to visit Jorge at the castle bar! Oh and unlimited ice cream is a plus for any child or even adult lol
