• Dina (8/5): Hotel.com made it right - After an inconvenience with another hotel, Hotel.com was able to make it right. This hotel was very accommodating!
• Rosario (2/5): - We booked through Expedia and when we arrived they told us they DON'T work with Expedia!! It was a terrible experience as we were searching for a place to sleep after driving several hours
• Ramos (2/5): - We are not picky about where we sleep being a construction crew but these rooms and this motel was extremely dirty and run down. I don't think they should even be in Expedia in my opinion.
• Lori (2/5): - This place looked like a dump. I felt unsafe when we pulled into the parking lot. We decided we would lose the money we paid for the room because we weren’t staying there. I have a brand new vehicle and I was worried about it sitting there overnight. We left and booked elsewhere.
• Johnny (2/5): - The room smelled of cigar smoke. The bedspread was dirty. There was no trash can in the room. This was the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
• Keven (6/5): - Hurricane Hellenia tore up area pretty bad. Work was being done on the building. Limited staff. Lacked a lot of the little things, like cups, coffee maker extra towels, soap/shampoo.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Not Happy - I booked and prepaid for rooms for employees traveling for business. Upon arrival at the hotel, my crew was advised they had no rooms. It was not late, the hotel just had no rooms. They took my money and reservation. I have yet to be refunded.
• Thomas (2/5): Unanswered phone - Booked my stay online but qhen i got to the hotel i was told that i needed to cancel my reservation because they had no available rooms because of some sort of contract or something. The lady at the front desk was very nice about the whole deal and said she would verify and authorize my refund so i was as satisfied as i could be and left to find a different place to stay. Upon che king in at an establishment a few blocks away i called customer service (who was very helpful) and started the refund process. Ustomer service took all the information and put me on hold to call the hotel that turnwd me away only to come back on the line and inform me that there was no answer there. There was a follow up request and now 2 days later i still havent recieved a confirmation on my refund.
• Rodney (4/5): Where's my Coffee. - The room was fair but really outdated, It would have been nice to have coffee in the room or lobby.
• Jeanne (2/5): - They overbooked and essentially told me "oh well" & I was stuck to find a place to crash for the night after driving 5 hours into town! Very unprofessional, and not helpful at all. The lady at the front desk had an attitude with me as if I was wrong that she overbooked.

• Steven (2/5): - Property had no power Nor water and wanted to offer me a "give you a very good price" if I wanted to stay there....upon calling about a refund for reservations, staff was very rude... Wouldn't let my dog stay there.
• Ron (2/5): Worst Motel in Georgia - They sold our room after having reservations. Then they refused to refund my money. They lady at the desk said there was nothing they could do. Will NEVER book another room through hotels.com, because they would not do anything about it either. The rate was $ 160 for 2 nights that they kept, still with no room.

No coffee as it was described in the listing.Our real rating would be a 0 out 10. I would have rather paid more and stayed somewhere that we didn’t have to check out before 5AM due to conditions of the room and hotel.
• Adam (2/5): Quality Control Visit Needed from Management - I own a business myself, just visit the place one time and you'll understand. I also reserved two rooms and when I got onsite they only said I had one. I got charged for a third room, it was too late in the night to worry about it. In her defense maybe system glitch and can be sorted out later.

• Marsha Lynn (2/5): - `Television would not turn off. `Stains on bedspread, chair and bench (couch) `I had to purchase cleaning supplies and clean the room. `I had to purchase my own blankets, as the bedding was too disgusting to sleep on. I wrapped the pillow in my shirt. `Cigarette burns on bedspread (I requested a non-smoking-room) `Cigarette smoke permeated the walls and underneath the door `I was on the second floor but had requested handicapped access room. `Junk furniture and appliances, and many bags of garbage and loose garbage in the parking lot `There were people living in this motel, with their grills, fishing poles, lawn furniture, etc. outside the motel. `NOTHING was as it was represented on Expedia. `I have photos I'd love to share. `I'd like to request a full refund. `This was the WORST motel stay I've ever experienced.

There were no cars there and it just looked like a place that was closed down. I was totally shocked how the place looked .

• Sierra (2/5): - Everything in the room was very old and worn, stained. The room smelled like smoke. I could smell smoke coming in the room. No one was outside smoking. The volume did not work on the TV so there was no sound. This was by far the worst day I have ever had here.

Noisy all night and people fixing their car in front of my door when I tried to get in.

• Misty (2/5): - I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but this was probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Our bed was broken, the bedding was not clean, it was stained. Pillows were terrible. The gentleman that showed us our rooms was nice. We were so tired, and couldn’t drive any more…. So we suffered the night and made do.
• JerryH835 (4/5): Wife would have refused - The hotel is aged. Attempts to cover deficiencies with paint have failed. Cracks in walls, stained tub and shower, stained towels with holes. Cracked concrete on steps, emergency lights with electrical tape on wires, and the heat unit temp control was broken.
• Leslie (2/5): A very unclean and unsafe feeling place - We reserved a room at another hotel and left bit was a disgusting hotel. The comforters were stained. The walls were stained. The furniture had stuff on it. The towels were stained (or dirty?). There was a place on the walk around that smelled and looked like possibly someone was living outside. The entire place felt unsafe and tremendously dirty. We did not feel safe staying there.

It was an older man there, but he’s the one that told me he didn’t know how to run a computer. Manger was not even there. I ended up staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Statesboro. I never got a response from the owner about a refund.

• IslandSquirrel (2/5): Never again - It's advertised as an Econo Lodge but the sign outside says Econo Inn and it was a terrible hotel. I am glad I saw the sign as we were leaving or I might have considered never staying at tn Econo Lodge again. The furniture was decades old, the bed was very low to the ground, the mattress was hard and it sunk down in the middle, there was no coffee pot, the microwave was dirty, mildew or mold all over the shower and the bathroom ceiling, the bed coverings were old, worn and had holes, no facial tissue, only one tiny thing of shampoo and one bar of soap, only two washcloths and two bath towels --- and those were the main things.

• Kimberly (2/5): Key Cards not working - No Rooms - We reserved a room for the weekend for 3 people. When we got there, the parking lot had 5 cars in it. The woman at the front desk gave us our room key and we went to the room. The room key would not open the door, so we went back to the front desk to get it fixed. After 20 minutes of trying, the woman from the front desk couldn't get the key to work and her only option was refunding our money as she wouldn't get us another room. ALL rooms within an hour of this location were sold out so we were forced to drive 4 hours round trip each day to attend the events we had scheduled the hotel for. I also have not seen a refund to my account from this "stay" and have actually had additional charges posted as pending. Very disappointed and will never go to this area again.
• Steve (2/5): - Dead cockroaches in the room. AC not working. Bathroom shower spraying water everywhere. Shower curtain fixture broken. Bathtub disgusting. Stains on the mattress and other fixtures. No way I would stay there again.

• Jane (4/5): - Sign was ripped, no other cars in lot, no coffee, no blow dryer, shower filthy, toilet slow to flush, sheet had big grease or something spots, wash cloth had a big hole in it. That being said, the lady at the front desk was nice and the tv worked.
• Nurse (2/5): - Sanitization practices was not up to Covid Pandemic policies per Motel6 procedures. I called Corporate and made a complaint. The Housekeeper was on her phone and threw the dirty linen on the ground and did the bc same for my room (all caught on camera). The housekeeper admits that she doesn’t wash the “top sheet/comforter” everyday unless there was a stain on it. I asked when was the last time mine was washed and she said “maybe” a few days ago. I asked her if she worked yesterday and she said “yes” and I asked if mine was washed yesterday and she said “no” stating “no one stayed in your room yesterday.” I was disgusted. So she was throwing dirty lines with no gloves on, on the ground and was not washing the comforters (top sheets) during this pandemic. I go to the woman at the front desk and she told me at first (all of this conversation is recorded) that they don’t clean the top sheet, the she says they “do” clean it every time. Then changed her story and said “they don’t have to clean it every time” and “I should know better that to use it as a comforter because it is ‘just for show’” and that “every hotel doesn’t clean their top sheet every day”and for me to read the sign that I “stay at the hotel at my own risk” then she said have a nice day I did my research and they are definitely out of compliance with CDC’s recommendations for hotel sanitation for COVID, Motel 6’s G6 Hospitality “Clean@6” for Novel Coronavirus Policy to “wash ALL LINEN”.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Looked ok from the outside. Checked in and they didnt double check to see we had already paid for 2 rooms and charged us again. Beds were terrible, bathrooms were gross with mildew. We did not use the shower and noticed water on the floor and reported it when we checked out told the front desk that their was water on the floor and she immediately said what did you do!? How rude!

The back of the toilet was filthy. There were no other hotel room available in the area so we were stuck staying there. When I spoke with the manager the next morning she acted like she could not care less about my complaints. The only good thing about the stay was the young lady who checked us in. She was very friendly and nice.

• Shanetta (10/5): Misleading Reviews - We had a wonderful stay! The reviews made me nervous, but I followed my mind. The room was large, clean, very close to our event and whatever we needed Zuma and Betty made sure we got it in the room. I will be staying there again in the future.
