Guest Reviews
- Stephen (6/5): - Room was good but every item (coffee, sugar, cream) had an upcharge. I have to call for an iron and ironing board three times. Meeting room didn't smell fresh
- Michael (8/5): - The bar on the 8th floor provided horrible service. They didn't have the complete appetizer on the plate. It then took 20mins to rectify. Took 20mins to have a drink delivered. Had to bus our table because staff was busy on their phones. Service tip included on bill couldn't get it removed. Took two days to activate the phone in the hotel room.
- Didier (4/5): - Endless ask of useless questions at checking , unnecessary to checking process like my age, my date of birth, my EXACT foreign address!! When I challenged that, I was told it was the hotel policy to ask all these questions!! When I firmly refused, they finally gave up and gave me the key!! I’m surprised they did not ask me my job, religion or sexual orientation… maybe that could be part of their hotel policy !!???
- Kevin (8/5): - The TV was not working. Staff were very polite and helpful though.
- Elsa (10/5): - The staff, the beak fast…. The ambiance….the room…. Everyone is so nice, from the bellman to the supervisor. Just notice 1 thing, towels are kind of dirty white color, they need to replace their towels
- Noralyn (4/5): - The lobby area smells terrible. The sewer needs major clean up. Room was clean except the beddings were already old. You can tell by the color of it
- Danielle Clarisse (10/5): - Overall, our stay in the hotel is pleasant. Very affordable and comfortable stay. Needs improvement when it comes it airconditioning. The hallways are hot.
- Jeremy (10/5): - Very obliging staff
- john (10/5): - Great place to stay for business or pleasure
- Grth (10/5): - Staff went above and beyond for our stay at every turn, at one point my rental car even had a flat and not only did the parking lot guard wave me over to draw my attention to it, they freely helped in swapping to a spare and getting in contact with the rental company when my phone had trouble reaching them. I can't thank the staff at the Bayleaf enough for all they did for us during our stay. It was a peaceful and relaxing experience every single day and exactly what I had hoped for in a vacation.
- Marinel (4/5): - The property is close to my hometown. The lobby smelled like a sewer. Although the housekeeper was very nice, I had to instruct him on what area to clean. They should be trained on how to clean the room and not need to be told what specific area to clean each time. The buffet was bad, and I only ate there twice during my three-week stay. They need to consider hiring a competent cook. I consider this a 2-star hotel. The room was pre-paid through Expedia, or I would have checked out sooner.
- ROSETTE (8/5): - Everything was good. I would have rated them excellent if the bath towels are good too. They seemed to be overused
- neofito (6/5): - Very good
- justin (10/5): - The hotel itself is great. The pool is great. The breakfast is amazing.
- Maria Daisy (10/5): Perfect choice - Fantastic hotel. All the staff were absolutely brilliant, very friendly and polite not to mention helpful give the customer that 100% service. I had a beautiful stay and will definitely look at staying there again.
Thank you to all the hard working staff that made my stay PERFECT
- Gary (10/5): - The staff and service there is excellent they really try and make your stay enjoyable would definitely stay there again
- Verified traveler (8/5): Restful Stay -
Our family recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience! The room was tidy and neat, making it a comfortable stay. The highlight was definitely the food - delectable, getting the value for its serving, that satisfied my cravings throughout my stay. The employees were friendly and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. Overall, I rate it 4 out of 5 stars!
- Gary (6/5): - Staff and room were good but the noise from the events in the middle of the hotel were very loud so we couldn’t sleep the first night past 7am when they started. After that I complained and they didn’t start till after 8 am but was still so loud was hard to hear the tv in the room
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Nice and quiet
- Henry (8/5): - The staff was excellent. Friendly, helpful. The food served was very good, with great choices and excellent service.
- Chandramouli (8/5): - People are nice. But not much on vegetarian menu. Difficult to get transportation to nearby stores.
- Gerlita (10/5): - I like and enjoy to stay in general
- Nancy (6/5): - The Gym didn’t have towels. No tissue in the room. The hotel wanted to nickel and dime everything including extra towels.
- Gerlita (8/5): - No complain , im happy to stay bayleaf hotel
- Selmani F (10/5): Awesome Place - I can say all full. Room cleaning, checking in and out, breakfast service… Perfect times 2.
- Ludivina (8/5): - Nothing
- Rofel (10/5): - Nice place to relax
- Salman (8/5): - I enjoyed staying at The Cavite Bayleaf, they stay was very pleasant with excellent facilities.
- Elmer (10/5): - The inside of the hotel is very clean and spaces are utilized well. It is the building facade that needs more light so it could be seen from the main road. The sign on the street entrance should be attractive, street should be landscaped, should be lined with flowers and bushes with lights. You want to impress your patrons as they drive in. Our dining experiences for almost 12 days were impeccable. The dining Manager, Tricia, & Supervisor Sharmaine are few of the exceptional staff working at BayLeaf Hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome - What impressed me the most
was the staff.
All were very friendly, helpful and courteous.
- Dejan (10/5): - Friendly staff. Very clean property. We are from Canada, spent 3 weeks at the Bayleaf Cavite (Feb/March 2023), room 619. Really enjoyed our stay. Will certainly come back!
- James Rex (8/5): - Very isolated.
- Rex (8/5): - Nice hotel, but in an isolated area.No fridge in the room.Great staff very friendly
- Joel (10/5): - Having travelled all around Europe, Asia and the USA, this hotel is at par or even better than other well known hotel chains in major cities around the world. Excellent customer service and amenties. Truly deserves more than a 4 star rating. Highly recommended and will return for future stays.
- Ana Joy (8/5): - Relaxing and secured area.
- ledon (10/5): - Great staff and nice facilities. Love the pool!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great staff and nice facilities. Love the pool!
- Martin Hinson (8/5): - All good!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is my fourth time’s staying at the hotel, very clean and not expensive.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Sparkling clean, good amenities, good restaurant and very close to the Golf courses.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice Hotel. Friendly Staff. Swimming Pool is amazing

- Arlene (10/5): Excellent stay - Excellent facilities with friendly staffs
- Kris (10/5): - Very accommodating! Kudos to Ms Marrianne, events manager!!!! Thank you a thousandfold
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved their 4 bed suite. The facility is very convenient located along Governors Drive. The amenities are very good and the rooms very comfortable. We will definitely stay here when we’re around the area.
- Joe (10/5): - This is a new hotel with a very well trained staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good hotel. I like the ambiance. Very quite, I just didn’t like rooms don’t have refrigirator and the channels of the TV was snowy.
- Bradford (10/5): Quality at its best. - The epitome of quality hotel from fast friendly service, amazing pool area to the most comfortable beds this was one of the finest hotels of my experience traveling the globe.
- Felix Leon (10/5): Best hotel in Cavite - Really my favourite hotel in Cavite, extremly helpful and friendly staff from reception team to room service! Will defenitely come back
- Kevin (10/5): - GREAT BREAKFAST, GAVE ME A NICE UPGRADE ON THE ROOM
- John (4/5): Unfortunately disappointed 😞 - It is a lovely hotel in a good location and well priced. Staff lovely and very courteous. Spent three days there and no hot water at all. Contacted reception on two occasions and no solution . No fridge in rooms. You have to have a fridge !!. Nice breakfast but poor selection of fruit . Shame after coming a long way .
- Bernard (10/5): - Enjoyed my stay there. Room was clean and everything was working.
- Mary Ann (10/5): Thumbs up for very accommodating staffs - love the hotel/ staff are really helpful. Thank you so much
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Friendly staff, very helpful. The room is so clean and facilities are great specially the swimming pool. Also nice location.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Customer Service is not for international clients - The minute that I pulled in at the front to check in I was told to park on the street as there is a wedding event going on. I told them I will not as I am a guest checking in and Its beyond my control if they fill up the parking with "visiting" attendees of the event. I am a residing guest and I have more right to a parking space.
- Jonas (2/5): Go somewhere else. - They put me in Room 704 and on my first night i got awakened at 12MN and did not get to sleep until 6AM because of running water noise and furnitures moving and being dragged on the floors. I realized the room is directly under the main restaurant. I called the reception twice that morning at 2am and 5am and Pat the Manager called me at 8PM later that day only to offer me to transfer to another room. Obviously the offer is just a lip service as they know that I am checking out that morning.
I had lunch with my friends at the pool and left my RayBan sunglasses. I went back within half an hour and ask the staffs at the pool and told they have not seen my sunglasses though our area is cleaned up. I insisted and dared the reception to ru their camera recordings. After a few hours my sunglasses suddenly showed up and no explanation was given to me where they got it back from.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Food, room and facilities
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great for staycation with family and friends! Hope they can have additional amenities like spa and massage. 😊
- Verified traveler (10/5): - good place
- Pana (10/5): Awesome! - Staff is great. Friendly, constant kind greeting and extremely helpful. Highly recommend this Hotel.
- Hashim (10/5): Nice one night stay - Excellent only con is no mini bar in room Room and bathroom nice. Pool area was excellent. Well done Bayleaf!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice ambiance overall ok. Can suggest to other friends
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel. Bad restaurants. - Stayed at Bayleaf many times. Wish restaurant service was better, be prepared to wait an hour for your food to be served. Better room pillows would be nice too. Other than that, great hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean, professional and friendly staff. Will certainly recommend. A+++ great rates and amazing breakfast.
- Marcon (8/5): Bathroom design needs to be remodelled - The hotel itself is really nice, we love the location, very clean and staff were accomodating. The only thing i hated was the bathroom. it was poorly designed. There were 2 cubicles, one was a stand up shower and the other one was a toilet. the partition walls were too short and the partitions werent deep enough on the ground so everytime someone would take a shower the toilet part gets so wet even the whole bathroom. It looks like a public restroom with the cubicle design. They should consider changing the design. we also had some issues with breakfast buffet. we paid for 2 free on our reservation and yet we got charged for it. Not a good experience.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It's on a good location and the staff is very friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff was great. They made it a very pleasant stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - They should be more considerate of repeat guests on a business trip. My husband had an emergency meeting that would last til 1230pm so we asked for late checkout. We were told someone was going to occupy our room hence it was not possible. This is the first time I have ever encountered such lack of consideration.
- Henry (10/5): Two thumbs up - One of the best hotel ive ever stayed
- Francis (8/5): Happy@GovernorsDrive - Superb room and nice pool area. Nice breakfast buffet.
- Neil (8/5): - Not much do there Few places to eat around the Hotel other them the Hotel
- Nathan (2/5): - Overpriced. The lobby and common areas beautiful. However, the rooms are impractical and uncofortable. The hotel is not within walking distance to any restraunts, so you're forced to eat the hotel food. The food is very expensive and average quality.
They are creative in the many ways they find to charge additional fees. Check-in fee (seriously), 10% service charge on everything, airport shuttle fee, etc. My bill for 7 nights cost more in food and fees than the room charges.
- Stuart (10/5): Second time stay at the bayleaf - This was my second time stay at the bayleaf Cavite and I found the experience to be different from my first time. This is in no way negative as I enjoyed my time here and the hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant. There is plenty to do if you catch a local jeepney to Desmarinas which is not overly far from the hotel. You can venture further afield if your willing to do so but if your fond of relaxing you can find plenty to do in the hotel. There are two restaurant's and a bar on the 8th floor with a balcony with some nice views of the country side. All in all I will stay there again as everyone is extremely friendly and will always strike up a conversation staff and guests alike and I will always recommend to anyone visiting the Philippines.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff are amazing! They are so professional in hospitality!
- Resi (8/5): - very nice in the bar with music live, food is great service was good far from manila but good out of the traffic
- Kyle (8/5): Very nice hotel in a remote area - Staff is very accomodating and responsive to the needs of guests. My only issue is that the hotel car service is on-call, basically a contracted taxi service —very expensive one at that (maybe 3X the price of Grab if Grab were available here) —and the hotel’s service may or may not be available when you need it. Grab is not available in this area so I get rides to SM Dasma then catch Grab from there.
- debbie (10/5): - Stayed for five nights, excellent service and lovely place
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good stay - It was good stay
- Uly (8/5): FOOD - I just find the choices for breakfast buffet quite limited.
- glen (10/5): Nice hotel - The room is good
Clean facilities
Nice swimming pool
Great staff
Food is good
Good room rates
Good data connection
Spacious parking
- Francisco (8/5): Ok for a 3.5 star hotel - It is very comfortable. The room is ok in size and layout. The food is menu is a bit basic. The pizza does not have a taste. The 2nd floor dining does not have a view. It feels ur eating inside a warehouse but the 8 floor dining view was great. Overall i will come back again for a quick get away.
