• RENIER (7/5): Good overnight in a quiet suburb - Comfortable en suite room. Attractive suburb in Hoedspruit on quiet streets. The dinner and breakfast were very good indeed.

• Penny (7/5): Hoedspruit is a fantastic place to start or finish your game reserve trip. The guesthouse is adequat - The location is fantastic. A 5 minute safe walk to great restaurants. The area is very pretty and has the added bonus of a chance of wildlife right outside your door. The place is a little "tired" but find for an overnight stay.
• Lizani (7/5): I will likely stay here again - The host was very friendly, the garden was very well manicured. Only one towel was provided for the two guests staying over so we had to share a towel. The shower is slippery because of the way it’s built, so even with the rubber mat inside the shower (that had mold / dirt on the bottom) you still slide around once you apply soap. Other guests on the property also played loud music until past 9pm, not sure what time they stopped as I had to put on white noise to cancel out the music to be able to sleep.

• Caitlin (8/5): Was a good place to stay for the night that we booked. The staff were happy to assist us with the last minute booking an - The room was nice to stay in for the night that we stayed, it was comfortable and had all the basics a person would need. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating especially with the booking being very short notice. In terms of value for money, we thought that the room was a bit over priced especially for South Africans and for just one night. The aircon is old and looks ready to give in, would recommend getting a new one.

• Jethro (4/5): Bad attitude - It was easy to find, the air conditioning was great in the room since it was a very hot day. I have asked for an early check in since I was tired from Johannesburg and they agreed to atleast an hour before and I appreciated that. Once you ring the bell and they open the gate, there’s no sign for reception and we decided to walk around the property towards the pool side looking for the reception. This old lady came out and started shouting at us telling us that we have passed the reception and it was closed due to the air conditioning inside. She couldn’t even greet us and we were left shocked and disturbed by the experience. That’s was the worst experience I’ve ever had with Booking.com properties. The sheets had stains

• Mpho (1/5): - The pool Staff from reception. The rooms had dirty sheets and had a very disgustingly dirty sleeper couch in room 15. Room 5's shower drain doesn't work, and the bathroom doesn't have a door. Overall service was bad from check-in we were told we had not paid because they had not kept thing up to date on their side. The lady from reception stays on the property so while we were sitting by the pool or in the pool, she'd occasionally come sit outside, which at some point felt uncomfortable because it felt like she was silently watching us.
