• Cornelia (5/5): Die ganze Anlage war ab gewohnt und vernachlässigt. Wir waren vorher fünf Tage in einem Apartment in Camp Bay und hatten - Personal war sehr nett und hilfreich. - Schiebetüren zum Pool liessen sich kaum öffnen, da die Schiene wohl seit Ewigkeiten nicht von Sand und Blättern befreit wurde. Erst als wir Ashley darauf hingewiesen hatten, hat sie die Schiebe Leisten gereinigt und geölt. Trotzdem war die Haupttüre immer noch schwer zu öffnen, beziehungsweise abzuschließen. - Abfluss in der Dusche war verstopft und so hatten wir jedes Mal eine Überschwemmung. Auf die Bitte hin dies in Ordnung zu bringen haben Ashley und die Reinigungsfrau probiert das Problem zu lösen, hat aber nicht funktioniert. Es war nach wie vor das gleiche Problem. Da muss man halt mal einen Klempner rufen. - die Küche war äußerst dürftig bestückt. Jeweils 2 Tassen, zwei Untertassen, zwei große Teller, usw. - Es gab keine Eierbecher - Kleiderschränke waren innen total dreckig. - Um draußen auf unsere kleinen privaten Terrasse zu frühstücken, mussten wir die Sitzpolster von innen nehmen. Also hatten wir immer entweder innen, keine Sitzpolster oder außen. - Kakerlaken im Badezimmer

Wasn’t sure why I was asked about the breakfast? Nothing very satisfied with our stay. The owners of the property was on site when we arrived and been greeted us and welcomed us.

Its the first thing you see, and its not in a good condition. The wooden gate should be painted and in better condition, wood was old and perished. i realize the salt air doesnt help, but maybe put covers over the braai equipment,not to rust. parking facilities should be considered. Parking out on road is a bit of a disappointment.

• Amu (6/5): Could Be better - The property is modern, safe and is located in a beautiful and quiet area, just a walking distance to the beach. The room has sufficient amenities For the amount we paid, would have expected some sort of backup power during loadshedding. Cleaning could be done more deliberately (especially just before guests arrive). I think the room was probably cleaned at some point, but sat unused for a time. Pest control a must- kept finding Shongololos everywhere(bathroom, curtains, kitchen). The bathroom had some mold smell, and ants were nesting even in the sugar packets in the kitchenette 🤮

Host needs to consider backup for electricity as loadshedding is - Location- within walking distance to the beach and local shops/mini shopping centre They don’t clean the rooms during weekends (Friday-Monday).No one is available to make up the room etc. That is just nasty. Our room had ants as well and this was problematic with food, etc. Property has no backup electricity e.g to supply minimum lighting. Pool is said to be “heated” but is actually not. When I enquired, host said it’s set to a temperature that’s preferred by European travellers & when I asked what that temperature was, he didn’t know

• Marika (10/5): A REAL GEM BY THE BEACH - A TRUE GEM! This is a 12/10 property if you are looking for a serene stay by the beach. We got a Luxury Suite option and it was a dream. The space is fabulous and the bathroom is a visual treat. Very safe area, with some lovely places to eat around. Fantastic little pool with sun-beds. The apartment has all you need for a short or long stay. We loved everything about the place and Dirk who hosted us was a true sweetheart. He not only let us check in very early after we landed, shared some Cape Town recommendations, prepared us drinks after arrival but also made sure to share daily news on load shedding and allowed for late check out. He didn’t have to do all this, so it only shows how amazing the level of service and hospitality this place has. All these stressed, greedy and non accommodating hosts should go to Ocean Breeze for a one week training to learn how to run the business. My only concern is that we couldn’t stay longer! nothing!

• Maja (5/5): Passable - The room was clean. I think the photos are very misleading. The basic rooms do not just have no access to the swimming pool, but u are not allowed to use it. The rooms is also very small, unpleasant view of the wall, no to very poor Wifi Connection, no Generator..

They were extremely accommodating. Mr Dirk was amazing, he went over beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. He allowed us to checkout between 10am and 5pm. Great location, close to Sunset beach. We enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend Ocean Breeze. I would definitely send a friend there 😀
