Breakfast was additional. Other than that, it is located in a quiet neighborhood close to all venues. Very clean.

- Ruth (8/5): Great b&b - What a nice place. The only criticism is that the beds were 'put you up' beds and one of them collapsed on the first night. I did see some criticism of the shower and it took a little while to warm up but it was good once it warmed up. Would return, although would prefer a proper bed and not a 'put me up' Nice friendly staff.

- Effi (8/5): 15 minutes walk to city, nice rooms - There was a mix up with our room (we booked a triple but were given a double). We waited a little for the housekeeper to clean up the triple and the problem was solved. Rooms are very nice (as we also saw what the double looks like). The triple had 2 rooms. One with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds and a futon. Nice bathroom and a terrace with a small table and chairs. A coffee pod machine and a fridge. The fridge wasn't connected because the outlet was occupied by the TV and coffee machine. There is no breakfast and really no where closeby that we could find. Walking into Lucca does take about 15-20 minutes. We were able to park our car on the street. I would consider this place somewhat expensive for its location and not having a breakfast if we were paying the full price! For full disclosure I need to add that I paid and booked the room for about $48 four months before and about 2 weeks before our trip the hotel wrote to us that they made a mistake in the price and that they are canceling our reservation if we don't add about $100 euros. I contacted Expedia as I paid in advance and after many attempts (with no avail) to have the Hotel honor the mistake they made Expedia stepped up and paid the difference. Kudos to Expedia!
