I liked that they would trade out your linens every morning when you needed them to and the location was close to Historic Keystone. It was nice and quiet as well.

- Anita (4/5): - This resort was not what I expected I read the reviews before I booked but let me tell you it’s not all what they say first the coffee pot was broken second the fitted sheet kept coming off so I was sleeping on plastic third the shower is very small and no water pressure fourth the walls are so thin you can hear everything from the cabin next door and the people next to us kept talking so we couldn’t sleep or get rest if you want peace and quiet do not rent those cabins pay a little extra and stay in a nice hotel even if you have to travel to get to Mount Rushmore

- Steve (6/5): Oil paint smells - The cabin had really strong oil paint smell. It was a long night to go through due to the smell of oil paint. It seems like the cabin was renovated, but the smell really hard to bear. One of the family members decided to stay in the car for the night. So we left early next morning.

- Charles (6/5): - The property and cabins were recently renovated or built and they were very clean. The front office is very friendly and helpful. Our cabin like several others, was attached and under the same roof as a second larger cabin, separated by a wall and locked door on the inside. The first night we listened to the high pitch of the refrigerator as it cycled on and off. The second night, when a family moved into the second half of the cabin, we could hear every conversation they had as well as every sound they made. (NOTE - they were not being loud - just normal conversation and noises. Just everything came through the wall and door very clearly.) This on top of the refrigerator noise caused us to checkout early. We would stay there again, but would ask for one of the older single family cabins.

We tried calling but the call would not go through. We told the manager the next day. She said she didn’t get our call. And told us she hadn’t received a complaint like this for this room.

Beware of local fog overnight so sleep in nothing to see until it lifts. GPS will take you to a business site. Keep going to the new camp on the right. Friendly staff are available for questions if needed. Would stay again.

- Shaun (8/5): Lovely place, a little dated including WiFi speeds - The lodges are nice but seem a little dated now, the place is clean comfortable and the staff are very nice and helpful. So we enjoyed our stay. However the WiFi was so flaky that the TV kept cutting out let alone our devices. This was not great given we are from the UK and roaming charges are high.

- Anna (10/5): - Great location in proximity to Mt. Rushmore. Stay was cozy. I had a hard time sainting adequate heat/cooling even though there’s a heater and AC unit inside of the cabin. Was either too hot or too cold. Lastly their free WiFi was absolutely TERRIBLE. I couldn’t send pictures or messages so had to get off their WiFi and use my data plan to send. Please note this is a very small town, so stop and get all necessary groceries for these cabins, or of course go out to eat. There’s a freezer/fridge/microwave/coffee maker available. Little 2 seater table to eat and my unit had a patio with a picnic table outside on the patio.

- Jason (6/5): - This is a very nice close location to Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. The cabin was very clean and looked great. We also had a decent view of the hills around the area. We could drive to town in less than 2 minutes for the main shopping area in Keystone. The TV was quite small and barely worked. It would freeze up constantly on pretty much every channel. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Two nights in it was pretty rough for our backs, and I'm usually pretty good with just about any bed. We actually considered sleeping in the car. A second luggage rack or small counter would be nice because there weren't many places to put anything.

- Robert (4/5): Nightmare of a Bed - The cabin was clean and neat. However the bed was terrible. It was lumpy and very soft. We had a very hard time sleeping on it. It’s hard to believe anyone would find this an ideal bed or more than marginally acceptable at best. Also, in taking a shower we ran out of hot water once. In taking our next showers we waited a couple of hours after the last person showered before the next person showered (in order for the tank to refill). You shouldn’t have to do this. Third, the Wi-Fi was very spotty. You would have it and then lose it for 10 seconds and then it would reconnect. This happened a lot. Very disappointing. Another thing, there was a big sign outside our cabin that said something like “smile, you are being videotaped.” Not nice. Please get a new bed!

- Connie (8/5): - Cute cabin in a pretty setting near Keystone. Try Powder House Lodge for dinner just 1/2 mile away!! Close to the beautiful Mt Rushmore. The helicopter tours were frequent during the day and took off near the cabin, so there was that noise. Our cabin had a good size refrigerator and microwave. WiFi is weak. Bring your own pillows unless you like flat ones! Take the speed bumps slowly!

There wasn’t anything wrong but we had just stayed 3 nights elsewhere in a new cabin so we were a little biased. It was all open to the living space. Not a lot of privacy.
