(Just hopefully with better service n - The room was lovely and super comfy bed, breakfast spread is always very tasty and the pool is great too. Breakfast service was slow - not offered hot drinks or asked about the hot food order on our first morning so we missed out on that and after our room was cleaned, all towels were taken from the room (including hand towels and bath mat) and not replaced which we had to chase a few times before this was rectified.

- Henry ZIM (9/5): Another fabulous stay - a lovely hotel - As regular patrons, we like the friendly staff, good service, good rooms (we recommend the garden wing, with patio) and the ambience. Brekky is never a let-down, staff almost over-attentive, and great variety. We 'use' Palazzo to access the great shows at Teatro and Pieter Torein. You get safe exit and re-entry to the hotel from Montecasino, a boon. There's nothing we don't like, but after 3 previous comments on weak WiFi in the garden wing, it really DOES need attention! We also were pleased to see a maintenance team busy caulking skirting, and so forth. There are lots of door handles and locksets needing some care, attention, and polish throughout; only fitting to match aesthetics with the great service levels.

The bathroom was stinking of something really weird like building work/mould smelling. It was really gross. The room was not clean, it was dusty in corners and old smelling. Furnishing was super old. NOWHERE NEAR A 5 STAR!

- Donna-Jade (8/5): Lovely and best baked beans! 😍 - Lovely property. The pools was amazing and the breakfast absolutely lovely. Best baked beans I have ever had 😍. Location is just perfect. Next to the Monte where you can visit safely through a private walkway. The bird park was also right next door and a highlight for the kids. The staff were so friendly and always joked with the kids. We enjoyed the British Crew a well. They brought a fun vibe to the pool. Our kids were the only ones in the entire hotel and enjoyed the attention a lot. We also had little welcome gifts on the rooms and always plenty of water. I guess the rooms could do a little refurbishment but nevertheless very clean and still comfy to stay in.

Great Breakfast The swimming pool area and gardens are superb. They offer Free wifi, but No Smart TV's in the room we stayed in and very poor reception on the limited channels on offer. This is not up to standard taking other, far more affordable, establishments into account situated in/ near the same vicinity.

The rooms were dark, furnishings too old, dated and the carpets were old and dirty. The wallpaper in the corridors were badly scrapped and need general redecoration.
