- Jimena (10/5): - El lugar en general estuvo increíble y la mayoría de los empleados fueron muy cálidos excepto por una chica de recepción llamada Beelu. No tiene tacto para dirigirse a los huéspedes, nos arrebató las cervezas diciendo que ya nos habían indicado que no se podía tomar en la alberca cuando minutos antes se preguntó y nos dijeron que si se podía. Al cobrarnos al final de todo lo que habíamos consumido en el hotel fue de una manera muy grosera. Creo que para todo hay maneras de decir las cosas
- Erik (6/5): - It's a hostel that can pack people into a private room. Window was missing glass slat. Nosound insulation, so noisy until 11 PM. AC made squeaky noise. Plumbing was loose and you could see sunlight through the edges. Mattresses were old, one was overly firm, one was soft. Common areas, kitchen, and pool were nice. Staff is really friendly and takes pride in the community environment.

- Mathilde (8/5): Bien mais ne convient pas à tout le monde - Endroit sympathique avec une bonne ambiance. Proche des restaurants, bars et supermarché. Parties communes agréables avec cuisine collective et piscine. Néanmoins, chambre avec énorme vis à vis (en face du matériel de surf), lit en très mauvais état (pieds cassés et grincements au moindre mouvement). Il y avait des cheveux dans la douche quand nous avons récupéré la chambre et l’eau de la douche était froide. Musique jusqu’à minuit donc pas idéale pour dormir 😉

- Owen (10/5): - Manager Leo was very helpful with guidance to this older solo traveler - had good local knowledge for economical eating options - can arrange/offer everything/anything tours, transfers, surfing, snorkeling, diving etc. - strictly quiet after 11pm - 24 Hr security - well run for a large hostel (60 guest capacity) - good english via the Mgr.

I wish I’d booked here from the beginning. Don’t think about booking one night just to be sure you like it, with thoughts of extending your stay. It’s unlikely they’ll have availability. Jump right in if you’re looking for an affordable, friendly, no fuss stay, with parking, and everything within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again.

This hostel is in a great location, within easy walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The pool was very nice to cool off any time of the day into the evening. I would definitely return to this place .
- Verified traveler (6/5): Servicio deficiente - El lugar está bien, la alberca/piscina está limpia y en general el área compartida si es como se muestra en las fotografías. La habitación es cómoda y limpia, no muy espaciosa pero suficiente. El AC funcionaba perfecto y la ducha todo OK. El personal en general es amable, sin embargo tuvimos un incidente con el auto alquilado, y la manera en que manejaron la situación no fue la ideal, terminamos siendo nosotros “unos mentirosos” porque en sus vídeos de seguridad no se veía que hubiese pasado durante nuestra estadía en el Hostal. Al día siguiente, que era cuando nos íbamos del hostal, el encargado en turno se mostró un poco más empático, con una mejor actitud de servicio y hospitalidad, nos dio una cortesía para desayuno en un lugar a dos puertas, resarciendo un poco el mal rato pasado la noche previa. Pongo 3 estrellas porque aunque el lugar estuvo bien, la actitud del personal fue pésima por parte de unos de ellos, y muy buena por parte de otros.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location central to town and a great pool and common area. Helpful staff and a great price! Only issue was that our room was not soundproof at all. The hostel was not terribly noisy, all guests were respectful and the nighttime noise curfew respected, but we could hear everything going on. Would recommend if you need a cheap place with lots of amenities but maybe not great for early sleepers.

- Lewis (10/5): Fabulous hostel with great atmosphere - I am so happy that I chose to stay here - I nearly booked a room in a soulless hotel. I booked a private room which had superb a/c (badly needed - it is hot here!). Wifi was fast and super-reliable. Comfy bed. Really nice pool and social area. Made lots of friends due to the laid-back but social vibe. Or, just laze in a hammock / the pool - your choice. Have stayed in many hostels around the world - this is one of my favourite. The owners and staff could not have been more welcoming - really nice, genuine people. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here.
