- Willemse (4/5): The disaster stay at Springbok Inn - The restaurant staff was amazing, and the meals were lovely. I was racially offended by the food and beverage manager with her very "pushy" view on why there was no hot water. She went so far as to ask a gentleman working for Eskom to remove his Eskom labelled jacked while on the premises. We have been to this hotel before and had an amazing stay. This time around it was a total disaster as there was no hot water to wash for the entirety of our stay. According to the food and beverage manager, the hotel had this problem for the past two weeks prior to our arrival. We had no call to inform us on the situation and every day we were promised that there will be hot water in the evening. This was an unethical answer as everyone working at the hotel knew that there was no hot water for 2 weeks already on our arrival. Explain your situation and give me an option to leave or stay, but don't lie to me. That is so offensive. We had to boil our own purchased water in a kettle to be able to wash in the basin in the room.

- WEITENG (1/5): 糟糕 - 没有 房价比我们预定时降了一百多元人民币一间，订单原定是不可取消和不能退款，但bookin说g同意退款，前提是需要酒店同意取消，并发一封邮件给booking。当我到了酒店时，前提说同意取消订单，但拒绝发邮件，还叫重新订有，支付双重房租，还不断在错误的引导，以致搞来搞去白白浪费了我将近两个小时。把我当傻子玩了一会，生气之下，我也懒得理论，就这样给酒店骗了一会，我们两个房间多花了二百多元。

Although the pool was small it was good to cool off and the big loungers were very comfortable. Breakfast was basic but included in the price so value for money. The decor in the hotel is good and staff were friendly We were let down by our dining experience at the restaurant on our second night. Besides being one of only 3 tables, the service was very poor. 2 diners got their food, we then waited a further 10 minutes for another plate of food and then had to enquire again after another 5 minutes where the 4th plate was. It also seemed that the last two plates were just warmed in a microwave. Very disappointing!

Es bietet ein sehr gutes Frühstück an und ist für uns so etwas wie die Oase in der Wüste. Wir waren bereits zum 3. Mal in diesem Hotel.

It was hard to do my hair. The geyser took long on Friday to get warm. But other than that.. We had a great stay.

You have to drive into town if you want to go shopping or eat it is not walkable. And no satelite tv as advertised. 10 channels, 2 were football, 2 were cartoons. Others didnt work and no news channels

- Joachim (7/5): - Wir haben auf der Durchfahrt eine Nacht übernachtet. Das Zimmer war sauber. Man darf keinen Luxus erwarten, kann hier aber gut und sicher übernachten. Das Essen im Restaurant war nicht ganz nach unserem Geschmack, die Küche ist allerdings bis 21:00 geöffnet, so dass man nicht mehr in den Ort fahren muss.

The gravel road from the main road to the motel is a little bit uncomfortable, as I was driving with a small car. Perfect for visitors with bakkies or offroad suvs.. Suggest paving it.

Whilst still eating one of the staff members started mopping right next to our table in preparation breakfast service the next morning. It was quite uncomfortable as it felt that we were being signaled to leave whilst other guest were also seated outside

- Jacques (8/5): Northen Cape Summer Road Trip - Front of house staff: amazing humour and friendly. Stray cats also had a place at dinner time and the staff treated them well.... We loved it. Very clean and tidy room. The best part is the location just outside the city centre. The pool needed a bit of attention but was acceptable for use. The room 010 could do with a shower door due to splashing onto the tiles.
