Verified traveler (10/5): - I would stay again, except I would not want the same room. From inside, it opened out to a huge tree! No staff on site. Room was clean, although the bathroom sink clogged up our first day there. Overall, no worries. I would recommend.

We had everything in the room except for daily cleaning which we already knew couldn’t happen during pandemic. Vincent (10/5): Business Trip - Love what they have done with the out door games/grilling and fire pits. Pool was also clean and nice. The room was standard fair. Nothing to fancy but very clean and the bed was comfortable. Definitely put the fan in the window at night so it doesn't get to hot. No AC in the room. We had a great time though and enjoyed the hotel!
Kimberly (6/5): Meh - Pros: - Central location near King's Beach and the lake. - Very clean. Cons: - Room was consistently too hot despite having heat set to off. - Room only had black-out curtains, so if you wanted natural light during the day you had to open the curtains and forgo your privacy (note our room was in front of parking spots and the main road). - Uncomfortable beds. - High price for what is little more than a motel (but maybe that's just Tahoe for you).

Not enough available outlets (unless you don't mind charging your cell phone in the bathroom) 4. TV remote needed to be programmed before using. 5. No ice maker on property 6. Overall property needs lots of repair (roofs, room ceiling showed signs of leak, floor boards moved near bathroom side of bed! 6. PLUS Over $200 a night for all this - you decide!

Paul (4/5): - The room I stayed in for $200/night has the following problems: - The shower is hard to operate and the water changes temperature in the middle. - There is a loud noise coming from a box installed in front of the open closet. It sounds like water dripping from the shower, but is not, it is like a clock ticking and very loud. It can interrupt your sleep - The TV has a control remote that is only for channel changing. To turn on/off the TV, you must get up from bed to turn it off, no matter how sleepy you are. It was not worth $200/night. It looks and feels more like a cheap $60/night motel.

Verified traveler (4/5): - I will admit, this place was extremely clean and the general area outside of our room was well kept up. The staff was also courteous and very helpful in quieting down the people above us who were partying. However, there were a few important problems to mention that some people may want to know. First, the beds are as hard as a rock. This problem could easily be remedied by placing one of those micro foam cushions on top. Second, the pool was unusable. It was as cold as Lake Tahoe itself. When we first arrived, we thought it was unusual nobody was in the pool despite it being hot in the middle of the day. Now we know why. Third, the shower is one of those "coffin showers". If you drop a bar of soap good luck trying to pick it up. Also, the shower head was not adjustable. Finally, do not get a room near the pool, because they leave the lights on all night and our room was lit up and it was hard to sleep.

Joaquin (10/5): First time at Tahoe! - We had a fantastic time, our room was 121 and it was very comfortable. It had a kitchen and a kitchen table, we’re we’re able to eat and make most of the meals in the comfort of our room! We traveled with three little kids and two adults. It is across the street from the lake, it was very beautiful and serene looking. It was our first time to the area but I am hoping for many return trips to Tahoe Vista! And we will definitely return to Vistana Inn! Thank you for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable!

m.m.m. (10/5): - Super cool place. Really nice, clean, modern (inside) and charming outside. Hanging outside was the best actually.. stunning view, and lots of little terraces and places to sit to either socialize or sit alone. Loved the stone surfaced shower. Nice staff.

Kelley (6/5): Not on the lake, very small and noisy room - Very basic lodging, thin camp style shower with little water pressure but at least the water was hot. There was no AC, but a fan was in the closet. If you opened the screens for air you could hear the traffic noise so it was hard to regulate the varying temperatures in the room. There was no clock in the room (we had room 138); the in room coffee was not great and their coffee in the tiny lobby, (which was only open after 9am) was nothing special. They did offer a small grocery store type muffin, but after 9am.   Our room was on the back side and upstairs of the not fancy office. I think the photos of the place were very deceiving. The young women at the lobby desk were very pleasant and helpful. I only wish that whoever ran the vacuum cleaner would have waited until at least 8am. It was quite loud.   They have SUPs and 2 kayaks to use but you have to cross a very busy highway to get to the water (no beach) access plus I don’t think any rooms had even a water view.   Quite pricey for what you get.

I really enjoyed the walking trail around the hotel it was super nice to take a little stroll in the evening around the grounds. They also offered for free, bicycles, kayaks, and paddle boards first come first serve. The staff was awesome, very informative, polite and accommodating so kudos to you ladies

Could hardly turn for the water to rinse my back. I am not a tall nor big person. Not sure if the other showers are the same, we were in room 1040 right behind the office. Jesse (10/5): Memorial Day Weekend getaway! - The staff was very warm & welcoming. For a budget place the room was nice and clean, the bed was really comfy. A gas bbq was on the patio next to our room. the front desk supplied bbq utensils, nice as we made a tasty steak & grilled veggies. They are a dog friendly property. Overall a good place to stay if you are going to be out and about, ski, water sports etc. Not really the best place for hanging out as the pool is right next to the road.

Matthew (8/5): Family getaway!! - Great location. Beautiful decor. You won’t find a friendlier group of staff members and the beds are super comfy. Downside: Rooms lack standard amenities (like hair dryer/extra towels) but you can ask for them from 8am-8pm... so plan ahead and you will be ok! One other downside for winter visit and any kind of snow play is the lack of resources for drying our coats boots gloves... but there is a laundry mat nearby!
