Guest Reviews
- Heideger (9/5): Always excellent. Great service -

- Nalini (6/5): Good but not what I expected. Expected have a swimming pool to relax in the afternoon. - Breakfast was good. Location is great Didn’t like the fact that I left a busy city to spend some time in a quiet place with my kid and the swimming pool was not open. This is information that should have been stated online so as a guest, I would know before hand that the pool was not available.
Knowing this, I would have never booked this hotel.
- Robert (10/5): Good quality - Location Could hear people upstairs
- Daryl (10/5): Excellent - No pool or hot tub.
- Armand (8/5): Restful as it was just a stop on the way home. - The extra space for the kitchen area was nice. The view of the back of Target was not the best but you can not do anything about that.
- Marie (10/5): -
- Rémy (9/5): Très bel hôtel ! - La suite était exceptionnelle ! Nous avons adoré notre chambre ! Le petit déjeuner manquait de choix.
- Donald (8/5): Quiet night in kingston - Check in was very nice. The young lady who check me in was friendly and smiled the entire time. Very clear and professional. Check in was a breeze. Property was clean room was comfortable and well maintained. Pool was down. I know the pool would be down. It says for renovation but with all the local hotels housing and renting to locals I question whether it’s the real reason or hotels are just not willing to have extra amenities destroyed. The night desk receptionist called shortly after 10pm due to a noise complaint. The Super Bowl was on and just getting over. Patriots lost. It was a good night. We were cleaning the room up to make it easier for the hotel staff to not have a mess in the morning.
- Tammy (10/5): It was a great place to gather with the family for Christmas. We had a wonderful stay. Staff was super friendly - It was bright and clean
- Julisa (8/5): Nice little stay in a nice little town. - Location, staff was very accommodating. Bathroom could have been cleaner.
- Tom (10/5): Loved it - Excellent

- Jaroslaw (7/5): - Comfortable 2 bed, 2 Bath. The front desk people very helpful and they were able to help with some issues. Thank you. The plates weren’t clean, missing arm chair or/ and coffee table in the living room. Apartment beside the mechanical room so one bedroom has a constant noise from behind the wall. You can sleep with your noise canceling headphones or not at all.

- Jindy (7/5): Holiday weekend - Location Weird smell in the kitchen
- Varvara (10/5): -
- Kai (7/5): Gute Zwischenstopp-Option mit kleinen Schwächen - Große Lobby mit Kamin und (im Dezember) großem Weihnachtsbaum. Großes Zimmer. Freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Der Pool war geschlossen. Plastikbesteck beim Frühstück. Schlafsofa ist sehr unbequem.
- Sienna (9/5): -
- Jacqueline (8/5): Lovely property and staff., but hesitant to stay there again due to the malfunctioning fire alarm sy - Lovely property Faulty fire alarm system. Went off 2x the night we stayed there; once in the middle of the night. Staff told us it was various system failures. Other customers I spoke with said they experienced that multiple times the previous week.
- Paul (2/5): lousy. - Breakfast was OK considering it is included. Can't expect a gourmet meal. Bed was comfortable. We chose this hotel specifically for the indoor pool because we wanted to take our grandkids swimming. Imagine our dismay when we found that the pool was closed for "maintenance" during our entire stay. We would have booked at any of a dozen places in the area with an indoor pool had we known. Very deceptive not to indicate that the pool would be closed.
- karl (2/5): - It was awful.
- Ernest (4/5): - Hotel was ok but it’s starting to get run down. Hallways smell. Tv didn’t work and staff wouldn’t fix it or swap room. It has went down hill over the years.
- Janet (10/5): - The hotel is very nice with very comfortable beds and a generous breakfast. It’s very clean and has a nice shower and bathroom.
- BARBARA (10/5): - The breakfast was very well-balanced, and the Breakfast Manager announced the closing time in plenty of time for guests to fill or refill their plates.
The room was clean and well-appointed, and the facilities were excellent.
- Daniela (4/5): - The shower was not functioning. Having a bath wasn’t a choice. The staff verified the malfunction but maintained that the partial refund for room without shower was Expedia responsibility
- GYEYONG (10/5): - It was good
- Betty (10/5): - Everything great!
- polly (8/5): - Location, we'll maintained
- Douglas (10/5): - Clean and great
- Siddhi (10/5): - Super clean rooms with a well equipped kitchen.
Having Target and Walmart at a walkable distance was an added bonus.
- Kimberly (10/5): -
- Robert (10/5): - Several restaurants downtown, About a 15 minute drive. Be aware there is metered parking except Sundays and holidays.
- Amy (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, nice breakfast
- Farid (10/5): - Loved the service
- Marlaena (10/5): - Very clean great staff
- Leslie (10/5): - I love the room wish the pool was working
- Daniel (10/5): - Love it
- Etty (3/5): Stay away from this location, there are better options for your money - Room size was good. One staff member was inappropriately rude each time we approached her. This made our overall experience very poor.
- Robert (10/5): - Nice lobby, rooms were spacious, check in we had a earlier check it at 2:15 check out til 12pm
Breakfast was better than most. Friendly staff
- Oscar (10/5): - The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel was nice and clean, and we got upgraded. However, the pool was closed during our entire stay due to maintenance. which did not make any sense to close the pool during a holiday weekend.
- Co.Da. (9/5): -
- Dominique (10/5): -
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was disappointing to have to wait for a room in the late afternoon.
- Margaliet (6/5): - Reception desk person barely civil when we arrived. Room ok. Overpriced
- Stephen (10/5): - Convenient to our hiking excursions...
- Eitan (6/5): -
- Amit (8/5): - Great place to stay. I wish breakfast (at least on weekend) was longer, till 10:30 am instead of 9:30 am. The entire hotel looks recently renovated. I would say finish the last touches (like light switches) to make a bigger impact. Staff was nice, location was convenient.
- Natan (9/5): -
- Joseph (10/5): - Pretty new hotel in excellent condition. I had a studio with a nice kitchen, sitting area, and king sized bed. Nice sized bathroom, with a walk in shower (with excellent water pressure.) Very quiet room.
The area has many shopping centers. My room looked on the back and side of a Target, and I think this added to the quiet at night.
Excellent front desk staff. Very good laundry room with 4 washers and 6 dryers. Each $2.50 in quarters, but front desk staff can give you change.
Good breakfast buffet area with 4 hot options (eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage, French toast sticks), cereals, yogurts, breads/toasts/English muffins, coffee/tea, many juices. Ample space in lobby or outdoors to sit and eat.
They have a beer/wine electronic dispenser in the lobby. You purchase an electronic card and then it will dispense a fixed amount.
Very close to the on-ramp to Route 199, so it’s a very quick to get to the Kingston-Rhinebeck bridge and cross the river.
I would definitely stay here again.
- Morris (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): - Very convenient to stores returants and interstate system in the Kingston NY area.
- Sadiq (9/5): - Staff at reception was not that welcoming or receptive. All other services and room was pretty good.
- Andrea (4/5): - NO POOL SINCE COVID. (Website shows pool!) NO WORKING ICE MAKER EXCEPT KITCHEN AND STAFF HAD TO BE BOTHERED TO GATHER IT. New thermostat never worked despite mechanic(?) and myself setting it. They DID move me across hall but first room never got cool. Breakfast hours of 0630-0900 are ludicrous unless you are a temporary medical worker with early hours. I moved to a Hampton Inn across the street where my grandson had a pool: people actually cared about their loyalty members and breakfast is served 0600-1000. You just don’t have a cooktop, large refrigerator or dishwasher. Bed was nice. Housekeeping every other day. Also can opener did not work and desk staff didn’t check in laundry storage where 20+ openers were found the morning I left. Maintenance guy Steve was absolutely the BEST!! The location manager is awful- totally non-caring. Never again will I stay in Residence Inn. Marriott properties have fallen off in quality over the past 10-15 years. Local franchisees don’t really care about clients-only the bottom line.
- Joseph (10/5): - Clean, spacious with kitchen and working space
- Janet (7/5): Good -
- Sally (8/5): - I enjoyed the courtyard in the evening.
- Linda (6/5): Pleasant - Good location
ice maker in one
Nice kitchen are Noisy air conditioning
Breakfast ended too early
- Camilo (10/5): - Nice for what I need
- Lisa (10/5): Our stay was very enjoyable. - Ample parking.
Room available to check in an hour early, which I was grateful for since I had just had a long drive.
The staff was welcoming. The room was very clean. The size of the suite was perfect . The breakfast had something for everybody. Check out was easy.
We did not use the patio but it looked very nice. My only suggestion would be to have signage in the lot pointing to the main entrance. I parked at what i thought was the front but it was a side door.
- Angelika (10/5): Exceptional -
- Theresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fahad (10/5): - Very good, and hospitality is top notch
- Susan (8/5): - The afternoon receptionist was not helpful n unfriendly
- Harumi (10/5): - Two spacious bedrooms with spacious bathrooms, nice and cozy living room. A big fridge with all the pots and pans, cup and plates like almost everything you need. We love everything about this hotel. It’s a five star hotel in my opinion.
- Nancy (6/5): - Far away from city center. Mall is closed and very little to see and do here.
- Michael (6/5): - I feel that the pool wasn’t working and no Jacuzzi so I was over billed for this and they mistakenly bill me more than I should’ve been billed with for 1600 then on the way out they told me I was only built 1512 and I still owed 400 and something dollars Getting on my car. They’re still $1600 bill so obviously there’s a problem and I’m gonna take it up with the business and a Better Business Bureau if this bill isn’t taken care of correctly
- Teddy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Timson (10/5): - I highly recommend this place! Their amenities are great and the hotel is very modern which I like. This has been one of their better hotels I have stayed in.
- Sreedevi (10/5): - Very comfortable and clean
- Renae (10/5): - We had a 2 BR and 2 BA suite which was perfect for traveling with a teenager. She loved having her own BR for once! More hotels should do this to address the problem with companies like Airbnb and VRBO. This is what traveling families want! The room was spacious, modern, clean. The primary BA was large, and it was great having a small kitchen and living room. Just great for traveling with children, especially teenagers who want and need space of their own.
- James (10/5): - The room was spacoous and clean. Loved the dishwasher.
- Carol (10/5): Spacious and comfortable - Beds and the room layout spacious-10
- CAROL (10/5): - Spectacular hotel room so much room I loved the set up wish we could have stayed longer
- Agnieszka (8/5): Great weekend escape. - Easy check in.
- Joelle (10/5): - Great hotel room, very clean and comfortable. The only problem was the air conditioning was very loud on the room.
- John (10/5): - They need a night light in the bathroom, no windows, very dark, or too much light for a late night trip to the 'Loo'!
The eco friendly question is kind of a non starter, since the person staying there has no real idea of what that specificly means to a guest!!
