- Thomas (10/5): Nice country escape - The setting of the inn was beautiful, the charming 1826 structure was tastefully renovated, the room was spacious and comfortable, the on-site restaurant was very good and the breakfast was very good as well, and the staff was very friendly. The hydronic heating system in the room was a bit loud and would wake me, but I am a lite sleeper anyway. The room could have benefited from blackout curtains.

- Joseph (10/5): Great place for either a long or short visit! - The room was very comfortable and cozy, the upkeep at the Inn was impeccable and I loved the check-in process and the access and security of the Inn and rooms was innovative and very convenient. The Breakfast was delicious. It would be nice to have a coffee maker in each room rather than just one in the common area. There were only two caffeinated coffee pods available on the morning we were there.

- Amanda (10/5): - We so enjoyed staying at this inn. We didn’t know it was in a country club with access to several of the amenities of the club. The room was beautiful, the innkeeper was very accommodating and any of the staff we ran into were lovely. A short drive to the closest metro station, we spent a day in DC, & the 2nd day in the rolling hills of northern VA in wine country where we had good wines & enjoyed a lovely dinner at a recommend spot. We would stay here again.

- Margaret (5/5): Disappointing stay at an expensive property. - Beautiful property! Booked this property expecting a wonderful stay. No hot breakfast, very ordinary yogurt and cold muffin. Disappointing because of the high price of the room. Heat in room didn’t work correctly, were told there was no one to help because it was Christmas Eve. Bed was extremely high with only one step stool to get on so one person had trouble getting in and out of bed. Floor was extremely slippery with no carpet. Both of us fell down in the room because of it. Will not be recommending this property or returning for another stay.

- Nova (9/5): Another wonderful stay, same room we had in 2016 - Beautiful historic inn, welcoming innkeeper, large rooms, made to order breakfast, fireplace. Perfect place for a wedding or significant celebration. Bedrooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated however the bed mattress are too firm which is challenging for people with back problems like me.

- Deborah (2/5): - Room was lovely but on the third floor. No elevator and the “innkeeper”didn’t offer. Power went out. Pitch black. No one came to check or offer help or assistance. There were no flash lights or any other emergency equipment. Came back on 4 hours later in the middle of the night to wake up to blazing lights. No apology, no refund and no discount. No Hospitality what so ever.

A very different lodging experience with no reception allowing you to feel you were staying in a private home. The staff were excellent especially Sofia for her friendly welcoming personality. The General Manager Brian was also excellent. We ate in the restaurant which was not disappointing. I thought the pool could have been open given the hot weather.

- Joan (10/5): A Highly Enjoyable Stay at the Inn At Evergreen. - We were there at a time with few guests so it was very quiet. The grounds surrounding us were beautiful. Being able to play pickleball at the end of our long drive was great. There was also a pool but we didn’t use it. The golf course is private. The suite we had was charming and comfortable. We enjoyed a very nice dinner at the clubhouse and a delicious breakfast, which was included with our stay. The Inn’s proximity to Dulles was a short drive to the Air and Space Museum but far enough away that there was little air traffic overhead. We will definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

- Nichole (8/5): The historic building was beautiful but the experience was not really worth the price. - Loved the history and the quaintness of the building itself. The inn keeper was friendly and offered to tour us around the inn to see what they had. The breakfast was simply a bowl of apples and store bought muffins, pretty disappointing. To use the restaurant you needed to follow a dress code but we were unprepared because we had not been told ahead of time so we could not use it. Our room was under the stairs so it was very loud in the morning when people were moving around the place. The property is quite far from any other amenities.

- Donna (10/5): Wasn't me - The Browns were beautiful the Inn itself was magnificent clean beautiful architect beautiful landscaping The accusation of smoking inside of room in which we never did smoke in charged us $250 for smoking fee in a room that we never smoked in. Went to a place that we did not throw our cigarette butts on the ground but we police them in our pocket that evening getting dressed for dinner I threw two cigarette filters in a trash can and I was automatically accused of smoking in the room. Try to explain to The Innkeeper what happened she did not want to hear it she was nasty about it then. If you're a smoker I would not recommend going to this place even if you have the smoke smell on your clothes they're going to accuse you of something the place itself was wonderful The Innkeeper very much of an attitude
- Bethany (5/5): Beautiful location, excellent value, poor experience with club staff. - Beautiful location and amenities. Checkin staff was warm and welcoming. Room was comfortable and spacious. My friends and I visited the club Saturday evening and were asked four separate times if we were staying at the inn, what rooms, and how to spell the names of the reservation holders. I understand making sure people belong there, but four times was excessive and began to feel unwelcoming. My friends and I are in our mid thirties but look much younger so perhaps that was confusing to the staff as most of the clientele were our parents’ age. However, I’d recommend a streamlined checkin where we are asked once for this information. Once is reasonable.

Everything was great.
- Vince (9/5): We really enjoyed this inn - Beautiful setting. Amazing restored building. Complete room and facility amenities. Delicious breakfasts. Very kind and helpful staff. We had a perfect two nights here. Only one issue with the rooms: My 90 year old mother could not get into her bed as it was too high. Fortunately, there was a 3' long sitting bench at the end of the bed that I re-positioned so she could use to get in and out of the bed. This was a little disconcerting in regards to middle-of-the-night trips to the bathroom. In addition, the tub/shower was deep and without anything to hold onto getting in or out. Fortunately, staying only 2 nights, she did not need to use it.
